Special Containment Procedures

Description

  • SCP-999 is a large, amorphous, gelatinous mass of orange slime, weighing about 54kg (120 lbs)
  • Consistency similar to peanut butter
  • Size and shape are malleable; at rest, forms a dome 2m wide, 1m high
  • Surface:
    • Thin, transparent membrane, .5cm thick
    • Highly elastic, hydrophobic
    • Can absorb liquids voluntarily
  • Internal composition:
    • Viscous orange substance of unknown makeup
    • Capable of digesting organic material

Behavior

  • Temperament: Playful, dog-like
  • Reaction:
    • Approaches with elation
    • Embraces with pseudopods, emits gurgling/cooing noises
  • Euphoria upon contact:
    • Immediate mild euphoria, intensifies with exposure
    • Lasts after separation
  • Favorite activity: "Tickle-wrestling"
    • Envelops and tickles humans, stops upon request
    • No intentional harm, apologizes if accidental
  • Special interest in unhappy or hurt individuals
    • Helps improve outlook for those with depression/PTSD
    • Potential for antidepressant development from slime

Dietary Preferences

  • Prefers candy and sweets (M&Ms, Necco wafers)
  • Eating method similar to amoeba
  • Avoid caffeine:
