cockpit instruments the basic six these are the six most important basic cockpit
instruments in airplanes let's take another closer look at the top left we
see the airspeed indicator displays the speed of air relative to the aircraft it
is not the ground speed top middle we see the attitude indicator this displays
the aircraft relative to the horizonal Top right we see the altimeter this displays the
aircraft altitudes above sea level it is adjustable for local barometric pressure bottom left we see the turn indicator
this measures angles of slope of the aircraft with respects to gravity bottom middle we see the heading indicator this
displays the aircraft heading to the magnetic north bottom right we see the vertical speed
indicator this indicator displays the rate of climb or descends thank you all
