Understanding Hero Levels and Training

Every time we say goodbye, they all see that it's a lie. Cause we always give... so I decided just easiest way to answer these videos is kind of just go over all of them together and one go so let's first talk about hero levels right what is a level for hero actually do for you so why do you for example want all of your your heroes be level 80. The reason for that is because when you level the hero, you're going to gain basically two things. You're going to get better exploration stats, which means you're going to be better like in the exploration levels.

But more importantly, you're going to have better march stats, right? So that's basically how much troops you can take into battle with you. So when you, for example, fight anything like infected or march against something like that, you'll notice that the amount of troops you can take varies depending on which heroes you bring. For example, if I bring these level 1 heroes here, you'll notice that they're going to bring a lot less troops with them. So you can see at my max here, it's going to be 126k instead of 160, just because I'm using lower level troops.

So the ranks don't actually matter for the march, but what matters is the level. So as you can see, for example, here's a... legendary 2.6k march a legendary 13k march that's one of the reasons why you level up heroes okay so really basically the two things that cap a level uh a hero's level well i guess three things is going to be um there's a level cap so every hero can reach a maximum of level 80 currently in this game um number two is there's basically the level of your precinct will cap your hero now of course like where i am right now as Plasma 7, it really doesn't matter anymore. But at lower levels, the hero precinct actually dictates what maximum level a hero can be.

And then lastly, the hero rank will cap a hero. For example here, you have Lucky, who is like, basically I have not put any fragments in her. You can see she's capped at level 20, and she can't upgrade anymore unless I upgrade her hero rank.

I don't remember all the specific level caps. rules but just as a kind of like a good thing to remember is unless you're basically at three stars you're probably not going to be able to hit level 80 so what this means for most players that are not like spending a lot of money is that most likely you don't have legendary heroes at three star or higher which also means probably you won't be able to cap the level on those heroes either so you're gonna have to use them in hero training. So that brings us into this other feature here called hero training area.

So hero training area is broken into two places. So there's the share level section, basically, you put, so there's instructors are chosen at random, not at random, sorry, the best, the three highest level heroes inside your pool are chosen as instructors, they don't have to be like, for example, they can all be brawlers, it doesn't really matter, they don't have to be one. one of each type so you can just for example level up three brawlers if you really like them and on the right side you have these slots here at max level for me currently I have 15 slots total to be able to train other heroes to the same level as the lowest of the three instructors as an example again on this account doesn't really matter because I have all 80s so the lower lowest is going to be 80 but if you imagine like an account where you have for example let's say a level level 70 hero, 70, 80, and 80, all the training heroes here on the right side, they're all going to go to level 80, or sorry, level 70, the lowest of the three heroes.

So that's why you want to level up your heroes evenly. You don't want to jump one hero much, much higher. And just as a kind of like understanding, it's the amount of experience points needed for each hero level up increases exponentially. What that means is basically it's a lot harder to get, for example, level. 79 to 80 could be as hard difficult as like for example level 72 to level 76 yeah so as you increase your levels it will be harder to level them up okay so How to maximize the levels for your heroes in your whole team.

Basically, there's three things you really want to do. Number one, you want to level up three heroes that have the highest potential to reach max level and easiest to reach max level. So what does this mean? In general, this means that you want to pick heroes that you can actually have enough fragments to be able to max them to general, right? So in most cases, especially if you're just starting on a new state, The three hero that's going to be most easily accessible for fragments are going to be Ghost, Rusty, and Sarge.

So for Ghost and Rusty, you can farm all the frags you need in exploration. So pretty much any of these levels, as you farm them, they're going to drop Ghost and Rusty frags. Or in later levels, you're going to get a general fragment, which is just going to be useful. So that's really easy to max those two. And Sarge early levels, if you rally your fiends, like I think it's level three and under, they're all going to drop Sarge fragments too.

So you can kind of farm these fairly limitlessly. So that's going to be pretty easy. Of course, as you level up, as the state gets older, you're going to find that all of the purple heroes are all viable for doing the training, especially the ones that are part of like Your intel tasks, for example, that includes now Chef, Mike, and I think there's one more, Jane maybe.

Oh, sorry, yeah, it's actually just Chef and Mike. And then, of course, you can get Jane frags from events, which is pretty easy. You can get Travis, and you're probably going to be maxing Travis as soon as possible anyways, because he's a great hero for infected, because he does the faster march speed and reduced stamina spend for infected. So basically among those heroes are all going to be good candidates later on as well.

Okay, so that's number one is make sure you pick basically three heroes early on and don't really change them early because it does take a lot to kind of like redo your hero training. If you take a hero out of hero training area on this side, that slot will go on cooldown for 24 hours. So for like a whole day, you won't be able to put another hero back into that slot.

So just be aware of that. Okay, so after you've chosen your instructors, you want to put all of the books into those instructors. So that means leveling up Sarge, Rusty, and Ghost to max level as max as possible. But remember, first tip, you want to level them evenly so you don't have like, for example, Sarge at level 70 and then Ghost and Rusty at like 50. That won't really do anything as your heroes who are in training will go to 50 only. in that case.

Cool. And of course, in the future, in like later time, you can also switch out these heroes as you get other heroes that you know, you want to max level with books instead of using hero training, it's kind of up to you, but only do only do the switch out once the hero has max rank. So that means when you get to general, that's only that's the only time you would actually switch the hero out.

Otherwise, I would not do that. Okay. The last thing you want to do is you want to reset heroes in hero training area often.

So one thing that you'll notice as you do hero training is that you'll notice that heroes that are not in training, for example, like in my case, Emma and Eli, are gaining level. So they are actually in the training area, but they're gaining level because I'm using them for exploration in general always. So they're just earning books by kind of like... Being as part of a team, but they're I mean it doesn't matter if they're like visually they're level 80 They'll still earn experience which means you can also reset them for the books so that gives you that gives you skill books or Experience books here so I can for example reset these heroes as I kind of go throughout This course basically the idea here is you want to be resetting heroes that are not in the hero training area Don't accidentally reset heroes that you are using for hero training. And even if you do, it's not really a big deal.

You won't lose any books. You can just put them right back in for that same hero. But with these books, now you can then start leveling up heroes that are not in the hero training area.

And you can tell who's not in hero training by not seeing a blue-like level next to them. So for example, if you see these guys here, they have a blue level next to their name. Whereas... Like, bad guy here has kind of like just a black level. That means she's not in hero training.

Plus, you'll see this here too, which means that they're in hero training. Okay, that's pretty much it. So basically, you want to just continue pumping all the books into the three heroes that you're going to use as instructors.

The first phase, you want to get those instructors level 80. And that basically allows it for all of your other heroes to go to level 80. And that's kind of what you want to get to for the first phase. Okay, yeah, how do you, so one question that I specifically heard was how do you change out instructors? If it wasn't clear, the game automatically picks the three highest level heroes as instructors. So just level up three heroes.

If you level up one too high and you don't want that to be an instructor, it's pretty straightforward. Just reset them and they will no longer be an instructor. For example, I can just do this right here.

Like Eva currently is... one of the instructors, I can just reset her, and now she is no longer, but it picks chef in her stead, doesn't really matter, and then, of course, I can always level back Eva, because you get all the books back anyway, so you don't really lose anything when you do that, basically, so it's fine. Okay, so I think I will cap the video off with a couple tips that you, I think, are going to be pretty helpful.

First thing is... Make sure you're using instructors that you can easily max level, meaning basically the highest rank. Number two is heroes that are in the hero training area are the same level as the instructors, but they can actually gain experience.

So just make sure you're resetting those heroes as, not frequently, but once in a while. Number three is actually what I'm about to show you here is once you reset a hero, It's reset is going to be in cooldown for seven days, so keep that in mind. So don't reset heroes too often.

Let the books collect a little bit, then reset, and then kind of rinse, wash, repeat for that. What heroes do you put into the training area? You should always be putting heroes that are that you cannot max.

As an example, you notice that I have only legendary heroes in here. That's simply because these are heroes that usually are going to be tougher to max rank. Which means that even if I have them outside of the hero training area and I have all the experienced books, I cannot actually bring them to level 80 because they're not max rank.

The only way to get them to level 80 is by keeping them in the training area. Okay? But, you know, I would still make an exception for heroes that you'll use, especially early on.

These slots are pretty precious. So, as in, you know, if you watch my videos, you know I really like using Mike. So, I will always put Mike in here, especially early game, because he's super useful for exploration.

Of course, later on, when you have enough books, you can just level up Mike directly. You don't need to put him in the hero training area. Yeah. And lastly, just as a reminder, the reason why we do hero training at all, or want...

all of our heroes to be max level is for the march capacity. It gives a little bit to other things. But realistically, the only thing that really matters in this case is for the march capacity. So you can always have full march with all your troops.

Okay, so I really hope that's helpful for the people that asked me questions about like hero training. I think it's an interesting topic. I do think that most people should know about it.

Because it's It's very powerful for this game to have a level 80 heroes. So you should do that. You should get your heroes to max level. Okay, this is Masaki from State483. I hope you found this video helpful and you stay classy.
