the propulsion Cannon is great for picking up and throwing small fish plants or pests you don't want around anymore and it can be used to move debris around and clear a path that's blocked and what I did is make it 1 million times more powerful and removed all of its limits so it could throw literally anything and I even managed to destroy the whole world how is this possible what if you throw something that shouldn't move at all and what happens when you throw the whole world I'll show you let's check it out so normally the propulsion cannon in subnotica is just for moving small objects around and out of your way so it's not really meant to do anything extreme so it has a lot of sensible limits on it by default first I had to figure out what those limits were and how they worked so I could remove them pretty early on I found a list in the propulsion Cannon code called band Tech which seemed like it prevented the cannon from firing certain items all right let's get rid of that maybe that'll let us pick up more stuff than we usually can then I started messing with some of the propulsion Cannon values values that control stuff like how hard it pulls stuff towards you how hard it shoots them away and the maximum mass of the object it can grab pick up distance Max Mass yes these are all the things we're going to change times a million infinite power all right that seems like a good first test let's go see what the heck happens whoa whoa whoa whoa oh no oh it's going crazy we're shaking it to death PE whoa I I picked up a school of fish can I throw them oh boy this is going to be fun what can I throw on the island just a bunch of random plants oh yep I can throw trees what about you yes we got a bird all right we're going to redecorate here we go we're going to we're going to bring this tree right up here we're going to try to fire this straight up if we can there we go there we go beautiful new tree wonderful decoration and it's rolling down the mountain don't worry folks that is normal he's returned home to his family can we pick up yep who there we go there we go we'll have this cleared out in no time then we'll be out of your hair K Forest not on my watch all right so we could definitely pick up a lot more stuff than usual but there was still a decent amount of stuff we couldn't pick up at all why can't I grab you so that's what I want to know is why can I not grab some things but others I can and a lot of the objects we could pick up still seemed like they were acting heavy oh hello Mr reefback oh do I have him Pew I think so hello oh God hello sir who we got him are you following me I don't know can I at least throw him Pew dang see I can pick him up but then he won't throw whoa okay sir we still don't have enough Force for some reason Pew see like that that's pathetic we can do better than that okay so now that should work there we go and then we're going to go wao wo oh my gosh well we can pick up reefbacks now what the heck is going on here is this oh I think I fired creep Vines all over the dang map they're just flung all over the map now let's see if we can find a Reaper whoa there he is whoa hello Mr Reaper no no no you're not going anywhere we're going up to the surface oh there's another one Pew oh how ridiculous and got him oh this one's feisty he's trying to get away it's going to be okay sir I need you to calm down sir we're going to launch you into the sky for this bad behavior you are clear for launch in 3 2 1 woohoo good luck luck on your journey uh-oh oh he hit the Aurora this was some awesome progress couple of problems though uh the changes I made also seem to have the side effect of occasionally shooting me across the map uncontrollably all right so now I should pick some W wa uh-oh uh-oh I see a problem ow w w he's pushing me around okay okay L wow a why are we still going up oh we're getting all jiggly whoa why does that happen the other problem was that there were still a lot of creatures and objects I couldn't pick up oh no so we can't pick up a stalker hello hello hello all right well I can't grab those a I can't fire the sea moth see I want to be able to shoot every object but it seems like it's more complicated than that so I made him a little little more powerful as you can see he scales a little more sensibly Pew and I've made it so that you can pick up more things than you used to be able to see like here now I'm picking up the Cyclops right oh see we got a stalker boom see that works now we couldn't do that before either oh look at that we can get sand sharks now so I've hacked into some of the functions that check whether you're allowed to grab something or not and modified it so that they always return yes ooh pew so it's working pretty darn well I want to push it even further I want to be able to pick up and throw basically anything in the world what if I could make the Trin grabbable when I when I throw the whole map that would make me insanely happy and you can't grab bases because they don't have rigid bodies another experiment can you add rigid bodies to things that don't have them rigid body just means physics applies to it so you can't grab things with this gun that don't have physics applied to them because you know it's like how would I how would I throw it around I don't know what'll happen maybe nothing maybe it'll just break okay I think I know what we can do adding a rigid body that's going to break some stuff so now we were checking if objects had a rigid body on them already which means they're subject to physics you know stuff like gravity or us pushing and pulling on them with our propulsion Cannon and if they didn't add a rigid body to them and just give them all a mass of 10 kg cuz whatever and uh it was very effective like surprisingly effective I don't know what this is going to do oh we can grab a bul bush that's nice can we grab the giant one yes oh definitely couldn't do that before boom that is glorious see this giant bulb Bush it doesn't have a rigid body so it's just going to sit there peacefully but as soon as I point my propulsion cannon at it it comes alive because I've said anything you point at that doesn't have a rigid body add one you yes now I can grab them and I couldn't before all right we got to try to break some stuff now oh god look we grabbed a wreck oh that's new w we grabbed a coral tube fire ah we're breaking new ground wa we got the rocket platform Pew go to space and for some strange reason the game did not like me throwing the Cyclops around it would just crash every time I tried so we can grab our Cyclops see and we can throw the Cyclops oh God it's crashing okay you can only fire a cyclops so far though cuz once gets ow okay I smashed my own head in with the Cyclops otherwise it stops moving Pew uh-oh I broke it but things instantly got awesome as soon as I started pointing the propulsion canidate bases again oh oh we can grab base Parts what the heck man we're destroying our base okay okay well my base is broken what if I try to enter this base now hello Whoa We broken the world let me back out there we go all right we're back out oh man wa it's only got a mass of 10 so if we run into it it's going to fly around oh boy oh boy what have we done hello yeah oh how disorienting oh I hate it I hate it all right let's go into the moon pool shall We There we go oh God wa this is weird oh if this was in VR I would have vomited already thank you thank you for welcoming you all I had to do was at a freaking rigid body and it was like sure can we grab the map yes yes give me the scanner room map this is so dumb for when you need to scan on the go the mobile scanner room we've got it map yes and fling through the moonpool this is ridiculous ew oh oh it's so weird oh the texture doesn't move with it that's so strange well that is cool to learn how it works but that is unsettling wow after this I spent even more time in between streams working to get this mod polished up and working just how I wanted it to and so finally this product was ready to go to market with my upgraded propulsion Cannon you can clean up your backyard in no time are you tired of your 4546b home being encroached upon by kelp get rid of it with the Brad is Brad upgraded propulsion Cannon hesky pests pestering you get them out of here with the propulsion Cannon but wait there's more so maybe you've got even bigger pests in your house take the gasopod don't like him pick them up get him out of here built yourself a new base and tired of looking at that old rusty life pod say bye to the life pod oh a nasty wreck not on my part of the ocean floor get it out of here wh where'd it go get it out of oh oh this one's a little heavier come on pick it up get it out get it out of here okay well it's it's sticking around this is a beautiful island but it's so crowded with trees what can we do do we can get him out of [Applause] here oh I see that old rusty base there at the top of the mountain we simply pick it up get it out of here I think this product has a catchphrase floaters keeping the island to float not on my watch get it out of here boom get out of here all right now I'm having fun we're getting into it now in all seriousness I've been working on this a lot so now we can throw lots of things big and small the mod was is working incredibly well by this point we've thrown just about everything in the game you can throw including breaking basically every important story element and endgame object oh jeez wait I can fix it every part of it is falling apart so this is still explorable even though it's like loose no matches so whoa whoa whoa well kind of there it goes hold on I can do this what I don't what should I where should I put this Pew there we go that's good I have saved actually I think I've ruined the universe that G was there for a very good reason if you know the story I might have destroyed our life on land inside same location different water existence uh give me the window get out of here give me that give me the hatch get out of here wait I have an experiment we have science to do give me the hatch drop it whoa It's a portal to the inside world of suban all right I need you to come back down so I can swim around again there we go now we can swim again so wa a wa oh I think we threw the Aurora getting the Aurora to move even an inch took so much learning and experimentation if I can pick up the whole Aurora I'd be super happy but I I don't know if it's possible yet is this a bad idea we're going to try it we're going to try it because it's a bad idea and if it's a bad idea we'll just turn it back off nothing it doesn't even see it it can't see the aurora and we can still whoa whoa I grabbed the room I was standing in then I had what may have been the most important revelation of this whole modding Journey instead of just picking up and throwing whatever we pointed the propulsion cannon at check if it has a parent object that it is attached to this is what ultimately unlock the ability to move the Aurora did I get the Aurora I got the Aurora ah it doesn't like it well it's going down I sunk the Aurora Hello whoa oh I forgot it only weighs 10 kg is it still around where did it go there it is oh no well there's a screenshot nobody's ever gotten before all right well what else can we ruin oh no but it grabbed me this is how I can fly if I just hit myself with the propulsion Cannon I can fly I'm lifting the Aurora above my head there we go now the Aurora's on the other Island wow it's huge what is uh what's happened okay we've kind of broken reality a little bit what is what is this is getting very abstract where did all the water go and after a little bit more tinkering I was able to do this in three 2 2 1 yes the unlimited power unlimited power tired of that ginormous Starship in your backyard get it out of here no more Aurora y'all y'all want to see the aurora fly one more time I do we're going to return to space a lot sooner than we thought we would we ready to make this ship fly again 3 2 1 bye-bye we left some stuff behind I think oh we grabbed fire uh-oh waa let's get that fire out of here can we put it underwater oh well you think we could put the life pod on top of the Aurora all right uh par is three all right here we go oh Mr
