How It Works

  • Participants are competing for a $1 million prize to aid in homeownership.
  • Competition Structure:
    • A house with 400 numbered footballs (1-400)
    • One ball is the winning "Million Dollar Footy"
    • Finalists have 20 seconds to choose a ball

Eligibility and Entry

  • Eligibility:
    • Must be an Australian resident
    • Aged 18+
    • Residing in QLD, NSW, VIC, TAS, WA, NT, or ACT
  • Entry Period:
    • Opens: 20 March 2025
    • Closes: 6 July 2025

Prizes

  • Finalists:
    • Each of the four finalists receives $2,000 towards a home deposit
    • Participate in the grand event for a chance to win $1 million
  • Consolation Prize:
    • If no finalist selects the winning ball, each gets $10,000
  • Prize Distribution for Winner:
    • $200,000 initially for home deposit
    • $800,000 upon home purchase completion
    • Payments are made in stages upon providing signed agreements
