[Music] hello ladies and gentlemen in today's video we will combine two of the most exciting powerpoint office 365 features move transition and slide zoom and create this awesome scrolling slide zoom navigation as you can see we can scroll through the slide zooms zoom into any of them come back and continue scrolling so let me show you how you can create this step by step let's go [Music] before into powerpoint i'm using powerpoint office 365 and in this video i'm working on windows and save some time i have already created a couple of slides so that we can focus on creating those scrolling slide zooms so feel free to download these slides they are absolutely free and follow along this tutorial link is in the video description as you have probably noticed all of the photos in our presentation have this beautiful blue duotone effect you can create this effect easily in duotone.shefactory.co website just input your hex values or you can use this color slider and create any duotone effect that you wish but i'll be sticking with this beautiful duotone effect i'll copy the hex values in the video description if you'd like to use the same hex values alright so we have six slices in total the first slide is where we will create the navigation and let's make sure that morph transition is activated for this first slide and now we can go to insert and let's click on slide zooms yeah all right and now let's just select all of the slides that we would like to create slide zooms for okay so the first slide is our homepage slide and we make sure that we select the rest of the slides and click insert slide zooms easy peasy lemon squeezy now let's make sure that all of these live zooms are selected let's go to zoom border and let's choose no outline because we don't need outlines for these beautiful slide zooms and now let's just spread them out a little bit and basically create a row of slice zooms okay so let's just roughly position them into one beautiful row and let's try to keep those gaps equal and to make it pixel perfect we can select all of these slide zooms let's go to align options let's align these guys to the top and now let's distribute them horizontally so that we have equal horizontal gaps and once again let's select all of these slide zooms and let's group them into one big beautiful group this way it will be easier to move all of these slide zooms around let's make sure we activate the slide guides so that we can see where's the center of the slide and now let's move all of these slide zooms to the right so that this first little slide zoom is in the center of the slide that's awesome and of course you can reposition these slide zooms up and down according to a taste that's awesome and the next step that we'll have to do we'll have to select each of these beautiful slide zooms go to zoom options and check this checkbox return to zoom which means that once we zoom into a slide zoom and if we click once again we come back to the starting slide and unfortunately we cannot select all of the slide zooms and check this checkbox we'll have to do this slide zoom by slide zoom but that's really fast because we only have 5 slide zooms easy peasy lemon squeezy alright and one more thing i'd like to do for these slice zooms is to add a little bit of reflection so we'll have to do this reflection once again one by one all right my friends so these light zooms are looking beautiful and they're ready and now let me show you how we can add some navigation arrows to the right and left side of the slide so one way to create this navigation arrow is going to insert shapes and using the line tool so we can just basically draw a line let's make it white let's add some weight to it and we can duplicate it let's flip it vertically and now we have an arrow but there is a faster way if you have icon tab in your powerpoint version we can just go to this icon tab and let's search for arrows and now we can just pick any arrow that we like for example this one and let's just click insert all right now it's black let's give it a white color okay let's flip it horizontally and now let's position it to the right side of the slide we can resize this arrow so that it is a little bit smaller just like that now let me show you how we can make this arrow clickable so that once we click it we would scroll to the right side okay so let's make sure that the arrow is selected let's go to the insert tab and let's search for this action button let's click it and let's make sure we hyperlink to the next slide hit okay that's awesome and i will have to create one more arrow on the left side so we can just quickly duplicate the first arrow and let's flip the second arrow horizontally and as well we'll have to adjust the action so that it links to the previous slide okay and let's actually move this arrow outside of the slide window we don't need this arrow to be visible in the first slide it will become visible only in the second slide okay so everything is ready and now we can duplicate the first slide and in the second slide we will change the position of these slide zooms okay so once again let's turn on the slide guides now let's grab this beautiful group of slide zooms and let's move it to the left side so that the second slide zoom is now in the center of the slide okay let's make sure that the move transition is activated for this slide for the second slide as well okay let's check it out on the full screen as you can see once we click on this arrow on the right side all of these slide zooms are scrolling to the left that's awesome and now for the second slide let's make sure that we select this arrow on the left side and let's bring it back into the slide that's awesome let's give it a preview and as you can see this arrow comes into the slide alright so now we can duplicate the slide number two and let's repeat the steps so first of all let's make sure that we activate the slide guides so that we can see where is the center of the slide now let's move these beautiful slide zooms to the left side so that now the slide zoom number three is inside of the center okay so let me finish duplicating the slice and moving these beautiful slide zooms and i'll catch you in a second okay so all of the slides are ready and let's check them out on the full screen so first of all let's make sure that the slide zooms are working just relax bro that's awesome neomorphic infographic that's awesome now let's scroll to the right side okay here we have a brushstroke photo that's awesome let's scroll to the right side once again okay everything seems to be working fine glass morphic charts that's good and now we can scroll to the opposite side everything seems to be working just fine and now let's add one more feature to this awesome navigation that will allow us to quickly scroll through all of the slide zooms and to do that let's just go to insert shapes and let's insert some circles hold down the shift key to draw a perfect circle let's give it a white outline and no fill and for this circle height and wood i'm using 0.4 centimeters okay and now let's bring this circle just below our beautiful slide zooms and let's position this circle a little bit to the left side from the slide center because we'll have to use two circles so we can hold down ctrl and shift key to make a quick copy let's make sure that we select only the circle and let's make it copy on the right side that's beautiful and for this circle on the left side let's actually fill it with a solid the white color this will indicate that this circle is active okay everything is looking good and now all that's left to do is to insert some actions to these beautiful circles so let's make sure that the circle on the right side is selected let's go to actions and let's choose a specific slide and in this case we need slide number four because this is the last slide with a slight zoom navigation okay that's awesome and for this circle on the left side let's make sure that it always points to the first slide that's good and as well let's go to the selection pane and let's make sure that we give proper names to these circles with a double exclamation marks because morph transition sometimes mixes up when animating similar looking shapes and by using double exclamation marks more transition will definitely know which object is which okay so the circles are ready we can select both of them let's just copy them and let's paste them into the rest of the navigation slides and on the slide number four let's make sure that now the circle on the right side has this white fill this will indicate that we have reached the end of the navigation and for this circle on the left side let's make it without fill super duper awesome okay ladies and gentlemen let's check it out on the full screen okay so first of all let's check out these navigation bubbles and once we click on the right bubble we scroll to the end and when we click on the left bubble we come back to the start the navigation arrows are working as expected as well that's awesome so congratulations ladies and
