Components of a Sentence

Active and Passive Voices

  • Active Voice: Subject performs the action expressed by the verb.

  • Passive Voice: The action expressed by the verb is performed on the subject.
    • Example: "A kite is flown by Rohit" becomes "рккркдркВркЧ ркЙркбрк╛рк╡рлНркпрлБркВ ркЧркпрлБркВ".

Sentence Transformation

  • Active to Passive Conversion:
    • Identify Subject, Verb, and Object.
    • Change the object of the active sentence to the subject of the passive sentence.
    • Modify the verb form accordingly.
    • Include the original subject at the end with "by".
  • Examples:
    1. Active: "Sachin plays cricket."
    2. Passive: "Cricket is played by Sachin."
    3. Active: "My mother gives milk in the morning."
    4. Passive: "Milk is given by my mother in the morning."

Verb Forms and Rules

  • Active Voice: Uses basic verb forms depending on the tense.

  • Passive Voice: Needs auxiliary verbs (is, am, are) and past participle form of the main verb.

    • Simple Past: was/were + past participle
    • Future: will be + past participle
