Asalaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh My brothers and sisters, I hope you're well. Now this is, I would say, a video which was highly in demand and obviously your brother had to come through with it. I had to, had to make this video because you guys asked me to. Before we get into the video, as always, make sure to like this video, share with your family and friends, watch until the end so inshallah you benefit and trust me, starting a Shopify store, starting an e-commerce store is probably one of the best ways. Like you guys could actually make money on a passive way, on an ongoing way. I mean, listen, you could generally make like 10,000, 15,000 pounds a month if you do it right. Today, I'm just going to tell you what you need to do to make sure your Shopify store is halal, to make sure your e-commerce store is halal. However, however, if you guys want me to actually go and do it, and I am planning on. I'm planning on doing it. I'm already having chats with the boys back in Pakistan. Listen, and I will tell you how. in this video but if you want me to make a video from start to finish and show you guys how much money i will make through everything make sure subscribe to the channel because inshallah that's a video i'm going to plan for maybe about two months time because it's going to take me time and i want to show you guys for at least a month of sales of how i get on so make sure to subscribe like this video for that video but let's get into what is actually wrong you and what we need to do right. See a lot of the people when they're getting into starting a store for themselves what tends to happen is they go down the whole drop shipping route. Now the drop shipping route, it sounds great because it's like it doesn't actually cost you that much, you're not actually having to spend that much money and fair enough but because the hadith of Rasul is do not sell something you do not possess and a lot of the times when it comes to for example drop shipping You don't actually possess it. Sheikh bin Baz, may Allah be pleased with him, he actually spoke about this and I was reading it not so long ago and he was saying that it is not permissible to sell something you don't possess in essence. Though I would say that there are people out there who have other views and I would say that the people I have gone to and asked and listen, a lot of the people that we go to have said it's not permissible to sell down that route because you in essence don't possess what you're selling. So... how do you get around that? The truth is, my brothers and sisters, you have to go down, you have to go to the AliExpress guys, you have to go to your wholesalers, you have to buy the products outright. There are a lot of ways, by the way, where you could start small. You don't have to buy 20, 30 pound products, which are each, you know, buying 10 of those is going to mean you have to put in two, 300 pounds. You can honestly find products through them, through the wholesalers where they're two or three pound and where if you now buy a hundred of those. they'll do it for or You just have to find products which cost less. And obviously, then you can customize it your way. You can add in your own logo. You can make it your own design. There are some pros as well. It just means that, of course, there is that initial cost of a couple of hundred pounds, maybe three, four, five hundred pounds in the beginning of buying your stock. The good thing is, though, once you have bought your stock, you are possessed that you can. in essence, that now has become halal for you in the sense where that's a product you sell, you're trading now. It's not a case of you don't own something. Now, if you sell it to someone, there's an issue with it. You can get it returned. There isn't going to be a delay in delivering that item out. Why? Because you possess it. And so these are the issues that occur when you don't actually own something and you're selling it. So that's why you have to stay away from the whole dropshipping and not owning a product route. Now, some people do say, what about... The fact that I am buying products from certain places and I won't go into where but certain places who are maybe harming the Muslims and therefore they're affecting the deen and therefore they're affecting the Muslims and this is a genuine A query that a lot of people have, a lot of people have messaged me about this and this is again something I've looked into. Now generically speaking as a Muslim it's completely permissible to do business with the Jews, with the Christians, with anyone else. Why? Because Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and the companions, they used to do business with the people of Medina. And so on that basis there's no harm in doing business with people. Though if you are now on war against... like a country etc etc. Again in this situation there is some evidence, I spoke to someone of knowledge and they said this is again also permissible because Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam, there is a hadith where he bought a sheep from a mushrik basically and so don't feel like you can't buy a product from a certain country because they're harming or prosecuting the Muslims or whatever it is. You can, it's permissible, it's permissible. Though, when I asked the person of knowledge also, they did say that if you now go with the opinion that you're doing on the basis of, I don't want to because they're doing this, although it's not haram. you will be rewarded for that intention of not doing business and therefore aiding them etc etc so that's the basic story of you would it would be of health from the other side of course listen my brothers and sisters make sure the product is halal now whatever you're selling make sure you're selling something halal now if you are sort of unaware if you're not sure run it by someone just go to your person of knowledge check with them and just find out is this permissible is this not am i okay to completely do this whatever your business you're doing go to someone of knowledge Should you come to me? Of course you shouldn't come to me. You shouldn't come to me because I'm not someone of knowledge. I have to also go to someone of knowledge. There are very very basic questions that I could answer but apart from that I also have my people of knowledge that I go to but I hope that gives you an insight of what sort of things you need to avoid. Now, I do want to make a video on sort of using influencers to market out your products. And I will do that as part of the video when I'm taking a product to market. Now, can you just use influencers who are... sort of you know they're not very Islamic as such and so on and so forth well like this is a question I have to be honest I haven't run by someone of knowledge so I won't go into this too much and maybe for the video when I'm actually doing this I'm going to check with this person of knowledge and say look can I use influencers who maybe share some haram I don't know for example you know maybe they share some music on the channel or so on and so forth is this also okay You know maybe if someone of you guys, someone of knowledge maybe is watching this and you can maybe comment below and let me know on your thoughts then of course if you are from the Quran and the Sunnah and it's beneficial for the people please do share your opinion. But I hope that gives you an insight. It's all about buying the product from AliExpress, you know wholesalers abroad. Get them in. Now go to Pakistan. Pakistan is a great place where you can actually get your products manufactured. If you are speaking Urdu, Punjabi, whatever, you can always negotiate a bit more. I am going to use someone in Pakistan. So I will show you that whole process. Get the products in. Once you have the products, you know, advertise the exact product for yourself, make the website, put the website on, get the product selling, and inshallah, inshallah, you will make some money. The best way to market is obviously if you have your own social media, but if you don't have your own social media, it's okay. The best way to do it then is go down the influencer route, go down the Facebook ads route. And that's again something that I want to go into for the video which is going to be upcoming.
