urg's test this is a test to determine if there is a rupture of the bicipital tendon the long head of the bicep goes through the bicep Groove and this tendon can be ruptured at times so we're going to ask the patient in this test to have their elbow at 90° I'm going to ask her to resist supination as well as external rotation all simultaneously so I'm going to bring my hand over onto the distal end of the forearm and I'm going to be palpating right in the bicep Groove from this position can you resist me please and again you can see that if this is intact or if it wasn't intact we may see a subluxation of that tendon coming out through that ligament Urus
