Types of Rainfall

  • Common Area: Equatorial regions (daily occurrence around 4 PM, known as 4 o'clock rain).
  • Example: Amazon basin, Congo basin, Indonesia, Malaysia.

2. Orographic Rainfall (рдкрд░реНрд╡рддреАрдп рд╡рд░реНрд╖рд╛)

  • Example: Mumbai (windward side) vs Pune (leeward side).

3. Frontal Rainfall

  • Process: Warm air mass meets a cold air mass, warm air rises above cold air, causing condensation and rainfall (often leads to heavy rain).
