today I'll be making one edit on six different editing softwares Just ignore the title It's uh it's clickbait So basically how I'll make this edit is I've divided the audio up into six parts So each few seconds will be edited on a different software and once all added together will give us one cohesive edit So without further ado let's begin All right so first up I spun two wheels One to decide the software and one to decide the anime And first up we ended up with Blender and Yujutsu Kaisen So a software I have used on the occasion which should mean we can make a solid start to this edit So I opened up Blender and began to work Home run to do it all now All top corner talking home run touchdown Buzz be it all now All now top corner like you all in lit the fire when you doubted now I'm all in the best bring the stars indefeated all right now because I use pre-existing models after only 35 minutes I was done with these two shots so I had 25 minutes to spare and what I would have loved to have done is been able to open up Da Vinci and spend those 25 minutes compositing the shots but that would be cheating as I'm only allowed to use Blender within this hour So unfortunately I was not able to do that which means we're just going to have to move on to the second part of this edit which is going to be made on After Effects using Avatar the Last Air Bender clips But first let me give Blender its rating I think a solid 7.5 out of 10 is fair to say The main downside being the steep learning curve and complex interface but there are many pre-existing models out there to help beginners like myself So all in all not bad That being said let's transition over to After Effects Okay Now I have used this software before like 10 months or so ago for a video Uh however I don't remember a thing but hopefully as I edit it'll come back to me Okay Um yeah Okay What the [ __ ] control Shift D Control Shift D The [ __ ] kind of control is that okay there we go Bang Okay Okay Uh [ __ ] All right You know what [ __ ] this M Okay Okay Okay Now it's coming back to me Okay Key frame Bang Okay Okay Okay Okay You know what this is looking better than than we were like 5 seconds ago So over the next few minutes I smashed out this transition but I did however spend way too much time trying and failing to mirror the edges Can I change the height or something there we go Oh my god And now aside from a few mishaps I was really starting to get the hang of things At least that's what I thought until this happened Link Apparent link Uh Oh [ __ ] Oh [ __ ] No What did I press what did I press no No Oh wait wait wait wait Oh wait No Oh where's the No wait No I'm just deleting everything Should I no I shouldn't Oh for [ __ ] sake Eventually I got everything back to normal and now I really started to get into the flow Select right click key frame assistant ease in graph editor Bang Okay Hello Mr After Effects Professional And then we hit back to 100 select right click key frame assistant ease in graph editor smooth baby Oh my god someone gave me a medal I'm [ __ ] crazy Uh-huh Okay And that only took 20 minutes Now the remaining part of the hour wasn't very eventful I just referenced a few more tutorials for some turbs iglow things etc And I already know there's going to be at least three geeks in the comments talking about some "Oh you cheated cuz number one you already had the clips and number two you used tutorials." Oh yeah Well I've got number three Kip yourself So let's take a look at how the edit's looking after 2 hours and two softwares [Music] Honestly I think I've done all right with that After Effects part considering the first 20 minutes was a proper [ __ ] show But within that final 40 minutes I learned about making shakes turbulent displacement tracking glow effects Overall I give After Effects a solid 9 out of 10 It's a great software fairly easy to navigate and its potential is possibly the greatest among all the editing softwares But now let us move on to the third software which is Cap Cut where we'll be editing solo leveling clips Now I have never used Cap Cut before so going into this I was a little concerned that it might turn out terrible But boy was I wrong This is so [ __ ] easy I mean I've got every effect in existence just sitting right here I just got to just got to drag it down and then boom Man I was worried for nothing This is This is like a cheat code all laid out like a fivestar meal Bunch of free eats Look I'm sorry but if you edit on Cap Cut you have no excuse to be [ __ ] And I stand by that cuz after only 15 minutes of dragging and dropping effects onto the timeline I was done Not a single spline graph opened nor a single key frame laid So Cap Cut gets a very welcomed 7 out of 10 cuz as much as I love the templates for beginners in terms of the amount of flexibility and customizability I do believe the ceiling is a lot lower compared to other softwares But now that we're done with Caput let's take another look at how our edit is turning [Music] out Honestly all is going pretty well so far Uh however next up is the software I am least looking forward to It is a light motion because there is no desktop software for this So I'm going to have to pull out my phone to edit So I downloaded a screen recorder downloaded a light motion and opened up the raw clips Oh no First I had to watch an ad But then I opened up the raw Oh wait Another ad And this one says I have 56 viruses [ __ ] off But once I got past that I was able to customize my timeline settings and press create project Okay here we go Here we go Oh not this [ __ ] again Holy sh If you want my honest review of a light motion I think I can sum it up into two words It sucks It is so tedious to use The effects are like cap cuts but worse the key frame movement thing was just like broken I don't even know how to explain it and I'd show you if I could but the recording crashed after 8 minutes and I didn't realize So I was just talking to myself like a schizophrenic Zero out of 10 worst experience of my life Next thankfully following that absolute nightmare I get a little break cuz next up is Da Vinci Resolve and I'm going to be editing Vinland Saga So that is a double W And like with Blender no commentary needed this time around So let's roll that time lapse [Music] All right it's only been 20 minutes but I am lowkey highkey for real I'm god done I'm going for just like a simple style this time around I've taken some inspiration from Moolob so I think that this has turned out pretty nice But I'll let you be the judge of that So let's take another gander at the updated [Music] edit Pretty decent if you ask me But I mean I have been using the software for some years now so it is expected Overall I'm going to give Da Vinci an 8.5 out of 10 It is an amazing software The only downside is the learning curve is quite high and there's not as many resources out there compared to AE which is a lot more popular And that leaves only one more software to go That is Sony Vegas Pro Yeah let me tell you a secret but just keep it on the low I ain't never ever been on this software before Oh so I don't know where to start Thankfully my goal help me and a knock So I hit her with some coo ain't physical that leave a mark And she gave me some good tips You got me set up Give me the spark All right let's jump into the software And jump in I did But much like with a light motion the interface was so confusing It took me a good 10 minutes just to work out how to place a key frame because you can't just place a key frame First you got to press animate and then it'll consider placing a key frame Yeah I'm not even kidding This was This was horrible And you couldn't even go looking for tutorials cuz every single video had a different looking interface Like uh I'm sorry I didn't know this was with the [ __ ] Sims Everything is so customizable They did have some good preset effects though I'll give them that So overall I'd give Sony Vegas Pro a 3 out of 10 That might be a bit harsh and I'm sure I'm just using the software wrong but as a beginner going in it was super confusing My key frames just kept [ __ ] dying and the Yeah god It was It was bad That being said I'm sure you're itching to see the final result So here is my edit made on six different editing softwares [Music] [Music] And there we have it That is the final edit How do you think I did and also what other softwares did I miss that you'd like me to try editing on i did enjoy making this video so I think I might do it again sometime But that is all I have for today's video Thank you so much for watching and I will catch you in the next one Baby baby baby you I need you And I'm feeling feeling Baby baby you Only you Only you Yeah Baby baby you I miss you I've been feeling feeling Baby baby you I need you Yeah I see you morning
