Setting Up the Promptor

Installing Backplate

• Ensure the ring backplate is installed.
• Change backplate:
  • Remove two thumb screws on top corners
  • Remove existing backplate by tilting out and lifting
  • Install new backplate noting the tab fit
  • Reinstall screws

Attaching to Camera

• Check lens filter size (found on front glass element or lens cap)
• Use appropriate step-up ring for lens thread size (e.g., 62mm)
• Attach camera directly to Master Mount or suitable mount
• Slide Promptor onto camera through step-up ring lip
• Ensure camera is tightly secured to mount
  • Use heavy clamp with flex arm segments for additional support

Connection and Positioning

• Promptor connects via USB 3.0 cable
• No drivers needed for PC; Camera Hub 1.8+ required for macOS
• Appears as a monitor with 1024x600 resolution
• Adjust display settings to position accordingly
