Access and Ownership

• System is property of John Carroll University (JCU).
• Access restricted to authorized JCU personnel only.
• Data on JCU systems, servers, storage, or network is JCU property.

Monitoring and Confidentiality

• Data can be monitored, searched, or seized by authorized personnel if necessary.
• No confidential data should be removed without approval.

Prohibited Activities

• Illegal activities, including downloading copyrighted media, are prohibited.
• Unauthorized installation/use of software not owned or granted to JCU is prohibited.

Software Installation

• Information Technology Services must be notified of additional software installations.

IT Resources and Privacy Policies

• Use of JCU’s IT resources is governed by JCU’s IT resources and privacy policies.
• Consent to terms of JCU’s IT resources and privacy policies is required.
