Opera Cloud: Creating Guest Profiles

Overview of Profiles

  • Includes address and contact details, preferences, and membership information
  • Applicable for guests, companies, travel agents, sources, and groups

Steps to Create a Guest Profile

  1. Accessing Profile Management:

    • Go to client relations
    • Select profiles
    • Choose manage profile
  2. Creating a New Profile:

    • Click the link to create a guest profile
    • Alternatively, use the "I want to" menu to select the profile type (guest, company, travel agent, source, group, or contact)
    • Option to view recently viewed profiles
    • Example: Click to create a guest profile
  3. Filling Out Profile Information:

    • Complete mandatory and optional fields on the create profile screen
    • Name field: Enter last name or family name
    • Enter a primary phone number
    • Use vertical ellipse to delete communication methods or add rows to include more
  4. Adding/Editing Address:

    • Go to the address tab
    • Click new to add or delete an address
    • Enter primary address details
  5. Saving Profile:

    • Options to Save or Save Profile and Add More Details
    • Example: Save the profile and add more details

Profile Presentation and Customization

  • View a list of links to sections in the profile
  • Related profile notifications, billing info, and reservations
  • Edit profile or add an image
  • Editing to add required information
  • Use gear icon (depends on permissions) for customization with page composer
  • Save changes

Additional Information

  • Option to add more info: communication preferences, contact info, notes, attachments, memberships, negotiated rates
  • Past and future stays section shows reservations linked to the profile

Additional Actions via "I want to" Menu

  • Merge profiles
  • Anonymize profile
  • Create reservation or activity and attach to profile
  • View stay statistics or changes log
