Types of Sentence

1. Assertive Sentence

• Represent general thoughts, facts, or habits.
• Two Types:
  • Positive Sentence: Affirmative statements (e.g., "I eat food")
  • Negative Sentence: Negative statements (e.g., "I do not eat food")

2. Interrogative Sentence

• Where questions are asked.
• Example: "Where are you going?"

3. Imperative Sentence

• Include orders, suggestions, or requests.
• Example: "Be quiet."

4. Exclamatory Sentence

• Express surprise or excitement.
• Example: "Wow! It's so beautiful!"

5. Optative Sentence

• Give blessings or wishes.
• Example: "May God keep you happy."

Structure of Sentence

• Three Main Components:
  1. Subject
  2. Verb
  3. Object
