queen and noble king ruled a city upon a hill they had a baby well on the way but then one day her royal highness took deathly ill and as her sickness grew graver and nothing could save her a sage told a legend of old yes a flower of gold what's that only a story sire a myth but maybe tell me when the world was begun a drop of sun fell to earth and became a flower go on instead of giving off a perfume its golden bloom [Music] [Music] yes i now the tale was true for indeed it grew hidden by a twisted old crone who for centuries alone and kept the secrets of what it could [Music] [Music] look there it is they shoveled it and we far in hand back they rode to the desperate king the sages brewed the leaves in a tea and instantly cured her highness on everything and on that very same morn a sweet princess was born like a flower of gold [Music] and their joy was rare but guess who was there hiding in the nursery that night to make use of the light shining bright in the princesses [Music] but the magic left when she cut off a strand someone said the lady took matters in half [Applause] [Music] my baby [Music] 18 years have gone by how fast they fly still the princess has not been seen morning line up start in the chores and sweep till the floor is all clean polish and wax to laundry then mop and shine up sweep again and by then it's like 7 15 and so i'll read a book or maybe two or three i'll add a few new paintings to my gallery i'll play guitar and knit and cooking basically just wonder when will my life begin they're finished finally [Music] then after lunch it's puzzles and darts and baking from [Music] if i have time to spare our paints will want some more i'm sure there's room somewhere and then i'll brush and brush and brush and brush my hair stuck in the same place i've always been i'll keep wondering wondering is wondering wondering when will my life begin to the night the lights will appear just like they do on my birthday each year what is it like out there
