Running Desktop Underwriter for TPO Connect

Introduction

  • Training from PRMG University on using Desktop Underwriter (DU) for TPO Connect.
  • Recorded on August 14, 2020.

Ordering Credit

  • Choose Credit Provider: Access PRMG's eligible credit providers list.
    • If provider does not appear, contact your account executive.
  • Order New Credit:
    • Click "New Credit Order" button.
    • Input username and password for the credit provider.
    • Click "Order Credit" on the bottom right.
  • Reissue Credit:
    • Click "Reissue Credit".
    • Input username, password, and reference number.
    • Click "Reissue Credit" on the bottom right.
  • Processing:
    • Request processes at the top of the screen.
    • Green bar appears when credit report is available.

Viewing Credit Report and Liabilities

  • View Credit Report: Click on "View Credit Report".
  • Import Liabilities: Option to import liabilities after viewing credit report.
  • Access Credit Report:
    • Go to "Documents".
    • Locate and access the credit report.

Ordering and Viewing DU Findings

  • Order DU:
    • Locate "Order DU" in the Loan Actions menu.
    • Ensure credit is ordered or reissued before proceeding.
    • Note: Cannot order DU after submitting the loan to the registration team.
  • Required Information for Ordering DU:
    • Request Type
    • Credit Provider
    • Username and Password
    • Borrower's Reference Number
    • Product Description
  • Proceed to Order DU: Click "Order DU".

Viewing DU Report

  • Summary of Findings:
    • Once ordered, view the summary of findings.
    • Access "Loan Summary" or "Documents" for detailed views.
  • Finalize Viewing: Click "Close" to exit the summary of findings.
