Tik Tok shops right now is the best opportunity to start a business I was looking for a Tik Tok shop setup guide online and I couldn't really find one that fit my learning style so here we are in today's video I'm going to walk you through the entire process start to finish of getting your Tik Tok shop set up that means by the end of this video you'll have one a fully set up Tik Tok seller account and the ability to integrate and link your products to a Tik Tok account so you can post videos and have that product at the bottom of that video which is what you see all over Tik Tok right now so that being said subscribe if you haven't and let's get right into it first things first we're going to the Tik to seller center this is where you start the process of getting your account set up it'll be the first or second link in the description below or you can just go to seller. Tik tok.com whatever is easier for you I'm going to choose North America seller because I'm in the United States if you're not choose your correct region so let's click enter now we're going to click on sign up what you can do is you can sign up using a Tik Tok account that you already have but I would not recommend that I'd recommend you start a fresh account something brand new because you can always link your Tik Tok accounts to it in the future but if you sign up using that one Tik Tok account you cannot unlink it so start fresh it's always easier that's what we're going to do today so you can either sign up with an email or a phone number I'm going to do email now I'm going to select a password after I put my verification code in the next page is where you choose your business type I understand a lot of you are getting started and you might not know exactly what your business type is if you don't have a corporation or LLC or business entity you're going to choose individual so if you do have an LSC or so proprietorship Corporation all that kind of stuff you're going to do that chances are most of you don't have an LC setup yet which is totally fine so for the sake of this video Let's just click individual now you can always change this later do not worry about it we're going to click on individual right here and if you have any questions you can obviously always contact support over here on the right hand side so let's click next now next thing we need to do is add our ID this how Tik Tok verifies you are who you say you are it's connecting your name to you know your tax identity you can either do US passport or US driver's license once you're done uploading just click next and we'll see you there once you submit your ID verification it's going to ask you for your address and your taxpayer ID if you selected an individual then you're using your social security number that's your personal tax ID and you just need to put that at the bottom of the page page if you don't have a business address that's totally fine you can certify that you do not have a business address and only residential address so once you do that click next and what countries or regions will Tik Tok user dat to be access St to process we're going to do in the United States of America CU that's where I am do you work with any third parties or subcontractors no we do not I'm going to confirm my compliance and I confirm that there are no purposes for which Tik Tok user dad will be collected accessed or used other than for the terms that they you know agree to so once you do that click next we're almost done already we'll just do a generic name like Cedar Hills Co primary product or service once again do not stress about this this doesn't affect anything it even says right here this selection won't affect your future businesses Home Goods home supplies secure sign up we're going to put in my phone number and once you confirm your information you are all set pretty much your Tik Tok shop is almost good to go right now your store is in the review process which takes up to 48 hours but it usually doesn't take that long it usually takes under two hours or so but in the meantime let me show you around the Tik Tok seller center really quickly this is your order tab let's just navigate through this this is your order tab your returns shipping options you can always update that marketing if you want to create deals discounts shipping discounts live giveaways all of that is done in the promotions tab ads if you want to start running paid ads on Tik Tok you can you can actually use a link in the description it'll give you up to $1,500 free Tik Tok ad spend which uh is a lot of money I don't know how long it's going to be active for so I would definitely take advantage of that offer while it still stands but this is where you run Tik Tok ads you connect your Tik Tok ad account and you're good to go now campaigns you know if you want to run a Black Friday sale or something like that for a day or two this is where you add that analytics obviously it's pretty self-explanatory it's where you look at all your numbers for the day so if your Shop's in good health great got nothing to worry about but if you start delaying your orders shipping really late not shipping fast enough not responding to your customers fast enough your shop health will deteriorate and then you will see some violations and then Tik Tok will penalize you eventually in the future so you want to make sure you're responding to messages but that's a video for later so right here register your business as pending tax information and also it's like Shopify where it has a bunch of these steps that you need to complete to finish your setup so next thing you have right here set up shipping once again this has got a whole bunch of private information so I don't really need to get into it but your shipping is just your address so now the only thing left to do is to one make a Tik Tok account under our new email a fresh Tik Tok account and two connect that fresh Tik Tok account to our Tik Tock seller center and then we're good to go we are 100% done and we can start blasting Tik toks out linking our product so let's click connect Tik Tok account now this is really simple but if you have a Tik Tok account already created then you just log in through there and you connect it if you don't you need to create a new Tik Tok account click this little link button and in your Tik Tok app you can actually scan this QR code right here and once you scan the QR code it will automatically sync with your seller center you just click okay approve and then you're good to go and you're connected it is literally that simple so there you have it your Tik Tok seller
