how's it going everybody my name is lucky buns in today's video I'm going to be going over everything you need to know for Pokémon go Fest 2024 global edition with that being said let's jump straight into it so if it wasn't clear already this is going to be a go Fest breakdown video and I'll have a separate tips and tricks video posted in a few days that being said though this event is going to be taking place from July 13th to July 14th 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day now first of all let's go over the free bonuses for anybody who's not going to be buying the ticket you're going to get 1 hour Lear modules habitat themed field research encounters and surprise encounters from snapshots and then finally all trainers are going to get a free Cosmo special research on Sunday during day two of the event so that's going to be July 14th so we obviously don't have that many free bonuses as the main appeal is going to be for the ticket holders so let's go through those bonuses right now once again this ticket is going to cost $15 USD so first of all for ticket holders you're going to get access to two special research Quest you're going to get a marsh Shadow special research on Saturday and then a necros special research on Sunday it also looks like for the necros research you're going to get special backgrounds in either lunala or Soo now on Saturday it looks like players are also going to be getting Global habitat challenge bonuses which are typically towards the end of the hour so I would say like the last 30 minutes now following that you're also going to have special incense spawns for both days of the event so that's a total of 16 hours combined you're going to get access to the following unknown letters a d g h i n t and Y and then during the habitat hours on Saturday you're going to have access to maractus corsola rockruff and Voli and the respective habitats and then during day two of the event you're going to have access to these special habitat incense spawns during the entire day so it's pretty cool that on day two that they're not actually restricted next up let's go over the boosted shiny rate which is arguably without a doubt one of the biggest benefits to actually getting this event ticket if you're planning on playing both days this is easily guys like one of the best bonuses you can get there are going to be so many various spawns throughout all the habitats and honestly like this is what really pushes the experience to the next level once again the Boost of chiny rate is going to be one out of 64 on average I'm pretty sure this is consistent for most Pokémon spawns during both days so yeah pretty damn good and I believe for raid battles we don't actually have a boosted shiny rate we may have a boosted shiny rate so if it is boosted it's going to be 1 out of 10 but otherwise the standard shiny rate for a legendary Pokémon or Ultra beast in this case is going to be one out of 20 regardless of whether you got the shiny or not I still strongly recommend rating as many ncrma raids as possible for those Fusion forms now speaking of raids though you're also going to get nine free raid passes every single day so that's going to be a total of 18 free raid passes but again these are the orange raid passes so if you don't use them you will lose them in terms of the Pokémon I would be focused on on day one you're going to have access to all the ultra Beast Pokémon and then on day two you're going to have access to the necros fusion so raid as hard as you can on day two and on day one I would just use as many any free passes as you have and if you want to rate extra you totally can but if you don't have that many green passes available I would save those for day two of the event to go really hard and we're also going to have six special trades each day on both Saturday and Sunday so this is going to be 12 special trades in total across both days so they listed this as the main bonus but we also have two special trades every day in Pokémon go right now thanks to the seasonal bonus so I don't know if that technically means that we get seven special trades I'm going to go off this and just say that we get six special trades as of right now cuz this is what Niantic has listed so I'm assuming that they kind of factored that in now on top of that you're also going to be getting special 7 km eggs you guys can get these from opening gifts from your friends and it is a quite tedious process to kind of clear your egg space before an event like this but thankfully Niantic actually added a last minute bonus where during the inbound from Ultra space event you can actually get these special 7 km eggs if you purchased your ticket already you're going to have from July 8th all the way until July 14th to take advantage of these special 7 km eggs which are according to Niantic shiny boosted so with that being said I would definitely go into this event with managed expectations like while the shiny rate is claimed to be boosted history has shown that these odds are not always that accurate and again we don't know the actual boosted shiny rate that Niantic is claiming so we really can't pinpoint how much boosted it actually is now on top of that you're also going to get one half incubator distance on any eggs placed between now up until the end of the event for Pokémon go Fest so between the 8th and the 14th and you're also going to be able to open up to 40 gifts per day which is really really good now in terms of the egg pool you're going to have access to the following Pokémon for the onear Rarity you're going to have access to duck lit ulga crab brawler and jmoo for the two star Rarity you're going to have access to corsola maractus vabi rockruff and Badu and then finally for the five-star Rarity which is pretty much almost non-existent to actually happen you're going to have access to the Rock Ruff in the sunset form so you can evolve this into a dusk form like and rock I believe and then you're also going to have access to Larvesta which let's be honest here that is probably one of the rarest Pokémon to get in Pokémon go right now so I would not go in expecting to get this one so yeah if you guys haven't actually purchase your Pokémon go Fest ticket yet this is going to be a great incentive to actually get it earlier rather than later leading into this event now we do actually have two more bonuses on top of that for ticket holders you're going to get two times raid damage when with friends so combined with Party play this should make beating raid bosses much easier with smaller groups not to mention most of the ultra Beast are pretty easy to take down but I don't know how difficult dusk M and Dawn wins and cromar are going to be so you might need more players for those two and then finally for anybody who purchases their go Fest ticket from the web store you're going to get access to an exclusive Avatar t-shirt now that definitely seemed like a lot right so the question stands should you actually buy this ticket is it even worth it well based on the raid passes alone you're going to get your money's worth just off that now with that being said though you will need to group up with other trainers so make plans ahead of time to actually go to your local grind spot if you're not really sure where that is then check out campfire to find local events near you you can most likely find one for Pokémon go Fest now you can also use pokey Genie for raid support as well so let's say for example you go to I don't know like a now ego raid boss and you can't actually take it down you could use pokey Genie to actually host now with that being said the lobbies do get quite busy during events like this so it may not be the most consistent but you can definitely get it done now regardless of your situation definitely just make make sure to plan ahead I think that's the best thing that you can do for yourself like if you don't really live around that much you're going to have to look to your closest city to actually go and play during this event I know it sounds like a lot of effort but trust me if you're going to be buying this ticket it is totally worth it and not to mention if you're playing around other players you're going to have a much better experience in my opinion next up let's talk about the shiny boost right so this is easily one of the best bonuses if you guys actually plan on grinding a lot during both days of the event even if you just grind like one day of the event for 8 hours I still think it's going to be worth it I do want to remind you though that RNG is still RNG which stands for random number generator so that essentially means you're not going to be guaranteed a certain number of shiny Pokémon just because you bought the ticket you're still going to need to grind through as many spawns as possible if you want to get good results every single year I see so many players complaining about what they didn't get during events like this like if you go out and you grind for the entire event for both days I guarantee you're going to get good results maybe you're not going to get like 100 shinies but I guarantee you're probably going to get at least 20 to 30 next up let's talk about the incense spawns so these are always really fun in my opinion and ideally I would have about 6 incense going into this event so you guys can really maximize the spawns that you're going to be getting these are all going to be special spawns so these are all going to be like the special Regional spawns the special unknown spawns now I do want to mention that the unknown shiny rates are not nearly as good during the global events compared to the inperson events but last year they were actually pretty decent for me so make sure that you click on all of them at the very least and for those of you with autoc catchers be very careful using this during the event because it is going to pick up those incense spawns really quickly around you and I've actually lost a good number of shinies from past events so yeah sometimes I do try to rationalize the autoc catcher is going to just pick up spawns that I wouldn't normally get myself like for example if I'm driving from one spot to another I'm not going to be on my phone so anything the autoc catcher gets is pretty much a plus but for example if I'm like walking and I'm focused on grinding you know maybe having that autoc catcher on spawns isn't the best idea next up let's talk about the six special trades right so for some players they're going to take advantage of every single one of these and for some players they're not going to use a single one of these now even if you don't have any lucky friend trade setup for either of these days I would strongly encourage you guys to make sure that you do your six special trades Max take advantage of that bonus now for the ticket holders you're also going to be getting a necros special research along with marshadow but I'm not really focused on Marsh Shadow too much the necros special research though you're going to get some extra solar or lunar Fusion Energy depending on which path you end up picking and you're also going to get an encounter with either sooo or lunala which is going to be really important for fusing with necma so I think you're going to get the free cosmog research plus this research as well so you're going to get a total of uh either one solo and one lunala or like two of each of them which I think is really awesome because that means you can get two Fusion Pokemon and again like you're limited on how many Fusion Pokémon you get based on how many lunala and sooo you have for most players out there I don't expect them to be getting multiple of these but again just getting the one is going to be really really good like dusk man and Dawn wings are both incredibly good Pokemon I'm going to talk about these more in a separate video I haven't posted it just yet but that should be out in the next day or two now I feel like I should probably also talk about Marsh Shadow even though this isn't like a big priority thing to me but for some players this might be kind of cool to them basically when it comes down to it marshadow is going to be an early access Pokémon which honestly isn't something that I think you guys need to get Fe missing out over so it's a decent fighting type attacker but it lacks a good fighting type charge move currently its ideal move set is going to be counter Plus close combat and it has a pretty high Max CP it's also going to be incredibly difficult to get the extra large candy because it is going to be a mythical Pokémon so the only way to actually get mythical Pokemon extra large candy outside of walking them is going to be from using your rare candy XL and then if we also compare it to your other options like Terra or Lucario they're going to be much better and they're also going to be a lot more accessible like they're still going to be difficult to power up but at the very least like you can do tracon raids when they come into rotation you can also try to hatch rolu During certain events even though both of these Pokémon are difficult to obtain resources on they're going to be a lot more accessible than Marsh Shadow so when it comes down to it Marsh Shadow probably isn't a big selling point to get this ticket but again like some of the other things I mentioned probably are so basically when it comes down to it I think there's one main factor I would consider when actually deciding if I wanted to purchase this ticket are you going to be playing a lot over the weekend if the answer is yes then purely based off the increased shiny odds this should make your experience a lot more enjoyable combined with all the other bonuses you're going to easily get your value like without a out now if you're not going to be playing that much over both days and I would probably just skip the ticket and just focus on the spawns and raids for what they are there is still so much to hunt without the event ticket and even if you don't get that many shinies you're like you're still going to get good IVs on a lot of these Pokémon and on top of that you can also just buy raid passes individually and raid within your own limit so if you don't really want to raid during day one that's fine if you want to raid a few necros on day two that's also pretty cool and you know maybe you could spend $5 on raid passes or something like that and that's good enough for you right at the end of the day it's totally up to you what you guys want to do I personally do think that the go Fest t and the go tour tickets are always the most worth it in terms of value every single year now I do also want to share my personal experience playing without the event ticket and then playing with the event ticket I think the first time we had Pokémon go fuss Global I didn't have the event ticket and you know I wish I kind of did because all my friends around me were getting a bunch of shiny Pokemon I was like not really getting anything throughout the day I was catching just as many Pokémon as them but the shiny rate like the Boost was that much better and so after that I remember getting the gifted go Fest ticket the next year and like having that experience compared to the previous year was just so much better even though I've been playing freeto playpl for the past 8 years and I've never spent any money on poke coins I think the one exception that I have is going to be the go tour and go Fest event tickets and the inperson events as well I just think when it comes down to it like in terms of getting an amazing experience out of just you know anything in life this is probably up there for sure like I have so much fun every single go Fest every single go tour you know for the inperson events that I've gone to it's been a blast the people that you're around also make it a really good experience as well like I think if I was playing this stuff solo I probably wouldn't get the event ticket but because I'm playing around other players because I have a good local community around me like these events are topnotch now of course that is my personal bias on this I think if you don't buy the event ticket that's perfectly fine as well you can still have a great time during this go Fest but if you buy the event ticket like I'm telling you right now that $15 goes a long way now with that being said we're not actually done yet let's go over day one in terms of the raid battles that are going to be available so in onear raids you're going to have Pikachu with the sun Crown as well as Pikachu with the moon Crown you're also going to have Jang moo available now for anybody who's actually played through the past couple of go Fest there's actually a pattern in terms of the pseudo Legendary Pokémon that's featured so for example last year we had goom as a featured shiny Pokémon that was like the new shiny everyone is excited about it but then we got gooy com Day this year right so this year we're going to have Jang moo as a new exciting shiny that people are going to go crazy over but next summer I guarantee it we're going to have Jango okam now we're also going to have more costume shinies and three star raids as well we're going to have Espeon with a scarf and Umbreon with a scarf these are exclusive to this event so you guys can actually get them during this Pokémon go Fest I don't think there's going to be another opportunity in in the future there may be I'm not going to say that there's not but it's less likely I apologize for any fil mode there you don't have to raid these ones they're not like that good for anything unless you get an Umbreon that's a hundo then you can power that up for the ultra league but you know Espeon not so much now in terms of five star raid battles we're going to have access to the following Ultra Beast we're going to have naligo buzwell famosa zurri celesa Cartana guzzlord and necrozma we are not going to have access to stack attaka or blon and I think the main reason for this is because they don't have their shiny form I think Niantic wanted to make this more fun in the aspect of every single raid boss you do has the potential to be shiny which I do kind of support now recently I did put out a full guide video going over the meta relevance for all of these Ultra bees you guys can find that link in the description down below I would strongly recommend using that video as a guide to plan out which RAID bosses you want to focus on now on top of that I would also watch my inbound from Ultras space event tips and tricks video which goes over every single Ultra beast and which ones are going to be regionals now following that let's go over the habitat rotation schedule I'm not going to go into the meta relevance for every single one of these Pokémon in this video I'll cover them separately in my tips and tricks video cuz that is going to take a lot of time so these habitat rotations are going to be based on your local time zones you're going to want to alternate between your Mega Evolution so you can maximize the candy and extra large candy bonuses that you are going to be getting depending on which Pokemon you're going to be focused on now typically there isn't really one Mega Pokemon that's going to work for all these spawns but there is one that actually works for the majority of those spawns and that is going to be mega Rayquaza because it hits dragon flying and psychic types now recently I have been getting comments saying that mega Rayquaza doesn't include psychic types but it totally does go to the mega information on your mega Rayquaza and you can see right there in bold that it does include dragon flying and psych type Pokémon but once again I think it really depends on what you're focused on like especially in terms of Mega level 3 as well like if your mega requ is not a mega level three but you have a bunch of other mega Pokémon that are Mega level three you may want to use those instead because the mega bonus does make a big difference there but in terms of convenience mega Rayquaza is definitely going to be the move and that's what I'm personally going to be using during both days of the event now in terms of the available habitats we're going to have 1 hour rotations for total of 2 hours in total so basically two rotations they're going to go in this order Dawn Meadow shining day creeping Dusk and darkest Knight once again these are going to be based on your local time zones let's go through which Pokémon are going to be available in each habitat so let's start off with the dawn Meadow habitat now in terms of the available spawns you're going to have access to Pidgey Pikachu wearing a sun Crown hoot hoot hoppip giraffa rig Wingull Snivy cottony Ducket Ferro seed axu Garian sunfist heat Moore and Inc along with a few other Pokémon for the shiny day habitat you're going to have access to Charmander Dratini sunkern dunpar hisain sneez Roselia s Rock Helioptile Tyrant den yungo fantis and and Jang moo along with a few others for the creeping dusk habitat you're going to have access to Pikachu wearing a moon Crown Eevee spin vbe alumi Gibble Venipede imoga Litwick goed Durand esper Fant up grubin and a few others and then finally for the darkest night habitat you're going to have access to alolan Rattata glar sneez teddi Ursa Mudkip carvana Lunatone Dino binacle Amora Carbink crab brawler and morl which does actually get boosted Stardust by the way and there's also going to be a few other Pokémon now if I'm looking at this correctly I think the only only Pokémon that can't be shiny from these habitats is going to be Carbink like everything else can be shiny potentially now in terms of day two there's going to be no rotation schedule for these habitat spawns and the incense spawns are also going to spawn at random so pretty much just make sure to go to as many cluster spawns as possible have your incense running the entire time to really take advantage of the special bonuses now in my opinion I do think that this is going to be the better day to be grinding as you have access to everything everywhere all at once now between the first and the second days I would strongly encourage you guys to also clear out your Pokémon storage for any Pokémon that you don't need it is incredibly important to do this between day one and day two I did just recently update my storage management guide though so I strongly recommend checking out that video if you don't have a good system in place currently I not even kidding it barely takes me any time to go through and transfer Pokémon these days because of how my system actually works like I've actually gotten some really good comments on that video so far so if you haven't watched it already I strongly recommend checking it out before this event now of course during day two we also have the big five star raids for dusk M neosa and Don Wings necros this is going to be the only way to actually earn solar and lunar energy from these raid battles you're going to need 1,000 energy for each fusion and typically once you fuse them together you don't want to unfuse them for a more in-depth analysis on these Pokémon I'm going to put together a video going over their meta relevant along with how the fusions work and then the adventure effect bonuses as well this video should most likely be out in the next day or two but one important fact that I do want to mention right now is that the IVs are going to be based on necosmo when these are fused together so regardless of the IVs that you end up getting on Soo or lunala they're not going to really matter that much the only Pokémon that matters in terms of IVs is going to be necrozma so this is why you want to raid this Pokemon as much as possible and for any special trades you have lined up for any lucky trades you have lined up I would strongly encourage you guys to trade necros either the shiny or the regular try to get that hyundo anyways that's pretty much going to cover everything for this video if you guys still want to check out some more content to help get you ready for Pokémon go Fest Global watch these two videos right here but before you go don't forget to smash that like button subscribe and I'll see you all real soon in the next one
