Purpose of the K53 Test
The practical test ascertains the proficiency of light motor vehicle drivers.

A successful completion of the test is necessary to obtain a driving license.
Test Format
Conducted on prescribed maneuvers and routes.

Test Requirements
Yard Test
Conducted in a closed area.
Vehicles must be roadworthy and supplied by the applicant.

The yard test must be completed in 20 minutes.
Road Test
Conducted after passing the yard test.
