Just before this video starts, I need to have a disclaimer here that says this video is made for educational purposes only. Do not recreate anything you see in this video. Do not try anything you see in this video at home. And I am a trained professional. So enjoy the video. And I think that's it. YouTube, please don't mess my video up. Yo yo, I'm Drew and I make a lot of YouTube short reviews, usually one or two every single day. And one of the most common critiques that I get on these shorts is that I don't have enough information on them and that I didn't talk about something enough or I didn't go in-depth enough. And don't get me wrong, as much as I would absolutely love to make all of my reviews as in-depth as possible, it just doesn't really make any sense to do that because of the way shorts work. If you try and add too much information into a short, it's just another reason where somebody's going to swipe away. So, you have to try and make reviews in the shortest way possible so that that way nobody swipes away and they continue to roll over and watch the video again twice. And it also annoys me because I would love to have as much information and talk about all these things that I'm reviewing in as much depth as possible, but it just isn't possible to do that because if I do that, the video will just perform terribly. So, I wanted to make this series where around every Thursday, might be every Wednesday, sometimes might be a Friday, but I'm aiming for every Thursday where I will go through everything that I've reviewed on YouTube shorts in the last week and then be able to say all the things that I wish I could get in a YouTube short, but I have to cut out because it's just too much information where people will swipe away. So, I'm assuming a lot of you guys at this point have watched these shorts that I will be talking about. Maybe you've missed a couple of them. Maybe it'll give you the inspiration to go watch some of the ones you missed. Let's get into everything that I bought this week. And it's kind of a loose title because sometimes I won't have bought stuff. Maybe sometimes we'll talk about free stuff that somebody gives me or whatever. But I think that's a good title. If you think of a better title, let me know. And YouTube, we are talking about YouTube short reviews that I do for coffee. I make YouTube short reviews on coffee. And everything we are about to speak about in this video is coffee and coffee beans from around the world. Here's everything that I've bought in the last week. So, starting off with the Nuscotti. This is literally just a biscotti that's branded like Nutella. The branding is really, really cool. Cannot deny that the branding is super nice. How is the flower, bro? The flour. Absolutely phenomenal. It burned absolutely crazy. Almost to its own demise. It's one of those ones that burns so nice and so clean that if you grind it slightly too much, it almost doesn't glaze as good. like you kind of lose a bit of flavor if you grind it too much. So, it's one of those ones where you only have to give it like a couple one, two, and then it is absolutely perfect. I ended up giving the looks on this one a 6.5 cuz it was kind of squished from transport, like being vaced and you just couldn't really tell how it looked. Like, it looked good, but not good enough that I could say it's like that good, which is why I ended up giving it a 6.5. But the looks didn't affect anything else from it. Didn't affect how everything else was. So, looks didn't really play a factor into the overall rating. Now, one of the next things I ended up getting was the 35 that came with a toy that I then blasted and it sent confetti everywhere. I was not expecting it to have that much confetti in it. I was I was expecting it to literally have like five pieces of confetti that was going to come out. Like I didn't realize it was going to get my whole desk messy, my whole wall messy. That was not a great idea. Opened it up and it was just a lemon cherry. The owner of the shop seemed to think that it was like some sort of OG, but definitely definitely wasn't some sort of OG. Unless it was an OG cross with lemon cherry. I mean, it's just one of those ones where, bro, when you have a gimmick like this and you have to have like a toy included in the box and all that, like realistically, is it going to be that good if you have to include a toy in the box? I mean, maybe sometimes it will be. There will be a small percentage of times where absolutely it will be and people just want to market their stuff. But other times people just want to market their mids. They just want to get rid of the stuff. And most of the time that mids is going to be lemon cherry gelato. I didn't even end up reviewing it in this video because I just saw I'm like well it's it's lemon cho gelato in a pack sold for stupid expensive. Next up was the sour diesel grown in Thailand. Absolutely amazing. And it was kind of interesting because the nostalgia from it was a bit better than it kind of could have been because when I got was given it was kind of fresh and back in the day when I used to get sour diesel was also kind of fresh. I never really had it when it was a bit old. So it was like exactly how my brain remembered it from back in the day. ratings. I gave it pretty good, but like I just said, it was a little bit early. So that's kind of where the scores came down. It was a really good example of Sour Diesel, just I was giving it a bit too early. As good as the nostalgia was for that, it definitely melted it down in some of the points. Oh god, now we have the Canagar video. If you guys have seen this, you know why I'm laughing if you haven't. Uh, I had to make this video twice because the first time somebody gave this to me, which is a cigar YouTube, it was a video where I tried a cigar for the first time and uh, it was horrible. I did I did not like it. Uh, look, don't get me wrong, I know some people will like it, but one bit of information I didn't get to include in the video is that it was actually sealed with D9. So, the glue along the the wrap was D9. So, that I think is what was making me choke up. The first time I tried it, I sparked it the wrong way round. I for some reason in my brain, I went into the modolf. I saw one end and I thought that was like the nice compacted end just without a tip. So that way you could pull it without getting bits in your mouth. And I thought the other end was like twisted up cuz it was the top. I know super stupid logic, but that's just how it went in my brain. I'm a J man, not a cigar man. So that's how I thought, but it then made me cough up and it was horrible and I thought it was disgusting and everyone was like, "Bro, it's because you sparked it the wrong way round. You only hit the rat." But in actuality, again, more information. I wish I could have kept in a short uh I did burn it off when I realized that I started it the wrong way around. I burnt it off. I made sure everything went without the wrap and then I pulled it so it was the exact same as it would have been if I did spark it the right way around. But I listened to people that said they wanted to see me do it the right way around. The guy luckily messaged me on Instagram after he gave it to me. So before I even put out the first video, I messaged him and said, "Yo, I'm like 99% sure I sparked it the wrong way around. I'm going to have to get another one." So I ended up getting another one. Next day I got it again and I also thought it was horrible. Probably wasn't a big fan of the flower inside and I feel like the D9 glue just made it really harsh and it was really weird and I did not like it. It was not for me. But I do understand that there will be people out there that where it is for them. So I do get that. Now one of the next things I got was the thin mint cookies from Tenko. Tenko themselves have been hyping this up to me for a while to the point where I was getting a bit annoyed that I hadn't been able to find it anywhere yet. Then I managed to find it and I can't even lie yet. I smelt it originally when I went into the shop and I was like, "Huh, smells like cookies. Don't get me wrong." Like 100%. I was like, "Wow, this smells like cookies." And I haven't smelt this for a long time. But I was also like, "Huh, Stack's been hyping this up to me, man." And like it didn't it didn't have that like smell, right? But I will say the flavor absolutely incredible. This was reflected in the scores as well where I gave the smell a 7.7. But again, the smell didn't really end up hindering the end result. So, the smell didn't bring the overall rating down that much as much as you'd probably expect because again, although I would love for something to be super super smelly, as long as the flavor comes out proper, then sometimes it doesn't matter as much if the smell doesn't come out, if you get what I mean. So, then we have the brick that somebody gave me. I was actually at an event. Somebody came up to me and they said, "Drew, you're going to love this." And I was like, "Yeah." He was like, "It's brick." And I was like, "Uh, are you are you sure?" And he's like, "Yeah, bro. Because it's it's our locally grown stuff. It's then bricked up for local and it's just how some local people prefer to have it." Which again confuses me because surely if it is good and it is very nice and it's exactly how you say it. Why would anyone prefer it bricked? I guess there are some crazy people out there that are like that. I'm personally not like that. And weirdly enough, it smelt horrible. It smelt like what you would expect brick to smell like. It It was really, really bad. But then in the end it didn't taste anywhere near as bad as the smell. But then a lot of people misconstrued me saying ah it doesn't taste as bad as the smell to it tastes good. Like it tasted okay, don't get me wrong, especially when compared to the smell. But it didn't I wouldn't necessarily say good. It burnt really clean. It had an oil ring for sure. And then there were a couple comments from people saying, "But Drew, you said it tasted good and it burnt clean and had an oil ring. So why' you only rate it low? What did I rate it?" I gave it an overall rating of a four. Well, bro, the taste I gave the taste a six. Like I said, the taste it was better than it smelt. But it Well, let's not go too far here. Right. So, the taste was a six. Obviously, the burn was like a 9.5, but like the burn kind of means nothing when the looks are a zero. The smell's a 1.5. The taste is a six. And then the the blaze is a five. You know what I mean? Like, yeah, the overall rating was a four. It was really good for brick. You know, I'm not going to rate it higher just because it's brick. Like, no. My rating is like one scale. I like to keep it simple. Everything's rated on that scale. You're not going to get rated higher as an overall rating because it's cheaper or because it's brick or any of that. Like now I rate everything as if it's free. You know what I mean? Like the price doesn't come into the factor of the overall rating at the end because I just think that's silly. Everyone has a different concept of value for money. So it wouldn't make any sense to try and rate that because it just doesn't translate. It's the same reason why I don't talk about effects in the shorts because it's just completely subjective. We've spoken about this many times, but the flavor and tarpen is what's going to change the type of effects you get. So, if I explain what type of tarpines are there and the flavor, you should be able to figure out what type of effects you get. But if I start talking about just effects, then it doesn't really matter. Next up, we had some Blue Zushi Rolling Loud Edition. Now, I will say, bro, has anyone noticed the kind of drop off in quality from Blue Zushi in the last couple months? I'd say until recently, this Rolling Loud batch, almost every Blue Zushi batch I've had for like the last 5 months has been super inconsistent. Like I'm talking some of them have been okay, but then you'll have like a Q and now that Q like one or two G will just burn completely black and like the rest will be fine and taste fine and be amazing and then the you know there's just this couple J's in it will just not be good and I don't know what is happening and then even the ones that are good aren't. It wasn't at that same quality but this Rolling Loud batch it has that zest that zest that I feel like Buzz should be missing that made me fall in love with that flavor. So yeah, really really enjoyed the roll in that blue zushi. Best blue zushi I have seen for a minute now. One of the most hyped Z I have seen for the last year. Mainly hype on Twitter. A lot of people are like, "Bro, where is this hype?" Like, bro, Twitter is the place right now for all of this type of discussion. If you don't follow me over there and you don't follow people like proper doinks and you don't get into the discussions there and you don't see all the hype from a bunch of places, also I do speak to a lot of brand owners and stuff like that. And if other brand owners are also hyping up a bit of flower to me, then you know the hype is really real. when I'm on the phone with another brand owner and they're asking me, "Yo, have you tried this Burning Rope Farm Z, then I really know that there's hype around it." So, this year I have had so many brand owners and just so many people and there's been so much discussion around this rope Z from Burning Rope Farms and bro, it fully lives up to the hype. I'm normally prepared in these situations to be like, "This is just hype. This is kind of dead." Happens a lot on the channel where it's just hype and I'm like, "Why is this hyped?" But no, this unbelievable. smell was like my highest rating of a smell that I've given this whole year. Same with the taste. I think it was like a 9.85. It was the most Skittlesy tasted Skittles I've ever had in my life. Absolutely insane. Hype completely justified. And then also from Burning Rope, I had some Fire OG, which I have been looking for both Fire OG and White Fire OG for such a long time. I managed to find some Whitefire OG again recently. Jungle Boys had actually been running some and it was fully like the old days. But this is from somebody called OG Rascal Genetics. And it's like one of, in my opinion, one of the tastiest OGs that is out there for sure. And I haven't seen the Fire OG since either 2017 or 2018. I think probably 2017 if I'm honest. This is the real deal. It is exactly how I remember it from 2017. It is pure fuel. Like pure fuel. Amazing. Although I will mention it is one of those ones where if you do grind up the tiniest bit too fine, it also doesn't give like a good pull. So, but it it's not one of those ones where you can just give it like a one two. Like I said with that one earlier, you really need to find the balance of where to grind it for it to really come out with the, you know, proper flavor. But if you know how to do that, then it should be amazing for you. So, that is everything that I bought this week. You should definitely subscribe and watch all of the shorts and watch these future videos to come. Hopefully, I'll make another one of these if you guys enjoyed it. Otherwise, this will be the only one that I make ever. But, if you want me to do a weekly update on these short reviews just like this every single week, let me know in the comments down below. and I'll see you next week.
