it's a particular dosha okay by the um if the kendras are loaded by uh you know benefit grahas um karma dipati yoga um uh not yoga but it's it becomes like a dosha so it can create problems like gemini lagna ah not so much uh virgo lagna but of course to an extent even virgo because they both have all the lords of barring virgo lagna lord whose other lord is rahu you know so um they all have this thing about all the benefits only mercury and jupiter as the lagna lord so in a way that is kind of also an issue but uh libra lagna you know um will have that problem cancer lagna will have that problem moon in the fourth cancer lagna you know uh it's a benefit going into a benefit house even though it is indigbala it will create problems but again that is like slightly when we come to do the yogas and how to read that um so don't get excited uh that oh you know uh um you know libra and moon uh venus in the fourth wow fantastic yes but it will has its own set of problems too okay so um yeah may ask you a question regarding this fourth house because of me apparently it's better not to have any planet because even malefic in the fourth house are no good so you think you know benefit you know should be good but then they become weak in the fourth house so maleficent are no good so it's because the fourth house is very delicate so you know any kind of influence because it's like the mind and the heart the emotional heart yes that's why there is because it's very sensitive yeah it is your anahata chakra it is your fourth house is your um it is you know it's a water house end of the day don't forget it is the natural house of cancer it is very very delicate it's very emotional and any planet especially if it is a male effect will create have a growing up you know because those are the growing years it's like what you're attracted to you know so men if you have i've always said that if you have uh men who are malefic in the fourth house be very very aware because any man with any planet in the fourth house he will want to marry that person he will attract that person he will only be attracted to that person you know so if you have son in the fourth you are going to go in for especially for men this holds true for men only okay um of course all militias in the fourth house is a problem okay it is going to be a problem for all okay that is number one but if you have to have then you know you rather have somewhere else the lagna lord but if it does does go in the fourth and if you're a man and if it is a militia lord then it is going to be a problem so don't get excited yeah like wow it's great but yeah of course it has it will give because it is the lagnesh the whole energy is going in the fourth house you know that's why so many brothers because it is the second house from the third house the again the bhavat bhavat concept is going to be there it is lustful now why lustful because from the bhavat bhava in the seventh house it comes to okay the fourth house um if you count uh from the lagna to the lagnesh fourth house it is four houses count that many houses you get to the seventh house which is nothing but the seventh house which is ushni chanda we are just going to cover that in a bit okay let me just finish this section we are going to go fast so leave the questions to the end um because i want to complete the lagnesh it's like pathetic the speed at which we are going um and i want to do the um so we you will understand why ushnik chanda when i come to that okay so virtuos that is parakrama bhava because the third house um is from the third house it is the second house anything which is the second it will carry the flavor of maintaining it's the hari bhava so it will maintain it so that means that you will you know you will have that sort of quality of vishnu because it is a second bhava from the third so hence you will be virtuous um and things like that okay and um is the repo however sixth house is courage so it will overcome all the sections and shut repose okay so because it is the 11th house from the sixth house so from that point of view it will overcome all the problems and from the paca lagna we i hope you're all aware paka lagna i covered it is nothing but when the lagnesh is going okay so we i you understand that right paka lagna is nothing but where the lagnesh is going yeah so um so they will be virtuous they will be able to overcome a lot of their sins and shadripu if you have lagnesh in the fourth house because if you then you have to consider the fourth house as your paka lagna and then count from there you know so a lot of your desires and all of that you know because the third house in the natural is the 12th house so you get rid of it because you're losing your desires when you read from the paka lagna 12th house becomes your third house from the lagna okay and um similarly the um sixth house becomes your third house so you lose um you have the courage because the third house is the house of parakrama you know bravery so you will have the courage to lose a lot of your negative thought so all in all i think lagnesh in the fourth house is very very powerful but of course if it is yo lagna and lagnesh in the fourth that means the surya is in big so it's going to create its own set of problems but we are not tackling that but just be aware that you know you have to read each thing you know uh synergistically okay highly sensitive and charming like the moon of course because it is the natural house of cancer and the mother and adorns his body and takes extra care of it that is indeed true and remember when we have lagnesh in the fourth the moksha trikon is constellated that is the eighth and the twelfth house comes into play as they form the fifth and the night the dharmic houses uh fraud the moksha trikon are the fourth eighth and the twelve and so some effects in aries and capricorn are reversed as the lagnesh becomes uh as the lagnesh becomes comes in the debility sign so for aries lagna okay uh everyone for aries lagna um mars going in the fourth house becomes that means yes it will have these positive some of the positive aspects but the mars goes in cancer so that means it is not just zero degree that is one problem the other problem is it's debilitated too of course then we will have to look for niche bunga debilitation uh how whether the niche banger is possible or not you know and if it is possible also we will want to look at when a planet in a rashi is debilitated you automatically consider the niche banger what um usually it happens in each banger or you look for um in navansha in navamsha also if it is debilitated it's a big problem if it is exalted then it is a rajya uh yoga big raj yoga so literally it will wipe out some of the problems of the lagna lord you know and all of that so which is very very positive but bear in mind you don't want it reversed okay you do not want the lagna lord exalted in the rashi chart and then in going in debility in the um navamsha chart okay you don't want that yeah everybody getting that because that is a complete rajya bhanga raja banger completely okay it will just kind of kill it you know um it's a very bad nimita it's not good at all okay so please make uh you know kind of figure out how it's going so that will need a remedy for sure and similarly for capricorn uh you know uh lagna the fourth house becomes aries shani is debilitated in aries now um it is debilitated it will create because chuni is shiny at the end of the day it's a malefic you know it's the um karaka for you know shock and suffering and a disease and all of that so in the fourth house it's not welcome it's you know so from that point of view and plus it's debilitated you know so it will create some problems okay so lagnesh in the fifth house fantastic okay mediocre happiness from children though average as wherever lagnesha goes that house becomes focused and kind of burns and takes up resources from the house you have to remember that wherever the luck nature will go it will suck up all the resources of that power okay so children is a big theme of the fifth house hence it will create problems with the children loses the first child now um this is please don't panic if you have a lagnesh in there especially if it is jupiter um honorable irratible wrathful tempered ill uh wrathful temper ill-tempered dear to the king because he's liked by people it is fantastic you know people in power will love them so you know why wrote full anyone um because i thought that you know maybe lagna lord is like acne and he's going in the kind of fifth house that is leo so probably there is a lot of agony ah yeah yeah that too but again uh you know um irratible and wroughtful temper also because you know when you have the lagna lagnesh going in the fifth house the aruda comes to the ninth house and so it's the third house so third house can you know opposite the third house so that can create also but again like that is a slightly advanced concept so we won't go too much into that but um i'm trying to encourage you guys to derive things rather than like kind of memorize mug she was like so young she was like 12 years old and he was like i think uh nine or something you know so he growing up those years vital years of growing up they formed a very very thick bond you see um so that speaks volumes so you see all the fourth house stuff came to play and it was very he came from an extremely powerful and rich family extremely rich you know they were the zamindars zamindars is where they were they owned lands and lands and he came to england you know uh to study and all of that so he was very very all the entire you know the clan was very well educated and everything and they had like beautiful mansions and stuff like that so you see you can see that the other lagnesh um is in the fourth house very very powerful you see and it is with mangal which is the lord of the uh ninth house extremely powerful that is of course it is malifix in the fourth house what do you say you know i mean uh it did play out um his life you know it was quite uh tumultuous you know as you can see he's lost a lot of people dear and you know his wife and then child and you know that's not easy and he even uh wrote about when his last moment was about to come i was sitting alone so on and so forth so you can read about it i don't want to go too much into his thing but i thought this was really interesting that his chart i mean you know in spite of an exalted jupiter but bear in mind that the jupiter is the atma karaka okay so you may well say ah but it's in a parivartana with the moon so it will just swap and you know it wouldn't matter but you see jupiter as an atmakaraka you cannot i what did i tell you you cannot swap around even though there is a parivartana between moon and jupiter you can't mess about and you can't swap around you can't do things like that so you have to be very careful when you are dealing with the atmakaraka okay so and also jupiter as an athlete it will give you a lot of experience lot of karma regarding children regarding you know uh regarding your spouse and things like that so that came very early on when he was uh he fell in love and he could not get over the death of um this uh first playmate his sister-in-law you know whom he forged a very very close bond with who knows what happened i think they did have a relationship of sorts but uh in his teenage years but she committed suicide after he decided to not he didn't decide his family married him off and so uh you know so she could not handle because she was in love with him you know and so she could not handle um you know the breakup and um so she just committed suicide and so he could not get over her death um even in the later years you know so so it's interesting yeah so you see how the lagnesha plays out yes just one question i know we get late but as you spoke about the girl whom he was in play mate and all so if we see the seventh house which is six that is kanye and the lord of that is going in mercury that is the second uh house so it is eighth from seventh right so that is what also the like if we see that bhavat bhavam so that gives the sorrows and suffering no for the first partner we can say it like that yeah but i think that uh is represented more by the rahu only because again uh there are other things that happen when you uh do the you know the the um you know because this is a particular yoga when the seventh lord is in the 10th it's called the jara yoga okay it's a very specific yoga where you are kind of indulging in little bit like forbidden or not looked well upon by the societal rules you know that kind of relationship yeah so remember that but that doesn't mean that everybody who's got a fourth lord uh sorry um seventh lord in the tenth is going to indulge in that but it's also rahu has got involved it is also rahu is debilitated so you see all of that when a planet is debilitated it's the shoka karaka it's like shani all over the chart you see is everybody getting this yeah sunny is constellated when any planet is debilitated it will have that it'll carry the energy of shani and of course it carried the it was a lifelong energy you could not get over with her death you know because he felt responsible for her death for her suicide so you see oh this is very rahu this is the shock it's the rahu you see my point so from that point of view it is definitely rahu the first lord you know we can think from bhavan is going to be from seventh to fourth is going to be the fourth house which is going to be the sukesh house where the rahu is depleted yes but how is how good is it to um have a sukesh in the fourth house you know from the any planet especially with some malefic in the fourth house yeah it's not good at all yeah yes so it creates a lot of turbulences and that's what it created rahu in the fourth uh from the seventh house and included a lot of problems you know so yeah so so you have to uh uh and in fact it could not even be uh because he gained a lot from that marriage you know his second marriage so you see the other lord mercury is in the seventh house so there was a lot of he shot to fame and his all his work he could focus on so you see that is a huge sri manta yoga massive shri manta yoga okay but that is slightly when we haven't done the yogas yet you know we will come to that but you will understand that's on that basis you can understand you know how which is the first relationship which played out and in his case that suicide was definitely that shock of rahu no doubt okay okay is everybody getting it so i would all encourage you to watch that um that uh rabindranath goes because he's a youth giant in india he's like he's a giver of the national anthem and all the poetry and everything roses a lot of the stuff has been written by him you know so anyway lagnesh in the sixth house again a lot of intelligence goes in with lagnesh in the sixth indicates one devoid of but but it indicates if it is a military or associated with the military devoid of physical felicity that is they are not comfortable there's always some ailment or the other they are working on you know or afflicted by diseases and much suffering in the hands of enemies because remember the sixth house is the ripple power it is the house of enemies you may well say that oh you know but they are all enemies but there are no enemies this is all your own doing from the past lifetime you know but sometimes the enemies may come in form of one's own vices like drinking and you know smoking or whatever you know so it may we may ourselves be our own worst enemy and the aspect of benefit planets or their association mitigates the eagles so parashara clearly indicates that benefit association with sixth house as being good while malefic association being bad like mars you will hit others and get thumped by them too especially if it is mars you know you you like really mars in the sixth house is like you know some past lifetime you beat up lot of people and this lifetime you will get beaten up now it may not be figuratively it may be just like you know uh i mean not specifically not literally beaten up but it may be just be like figuratively but still it will give you some kind of like beating you know an attitude to problems aggressive or passive cool handling or angry reaction so again it can depending on what the planet is it can give you a lot of equanimity on you know depending on how what the nature of the planet is if it is venus fantastic if it is you know libra lagna and lagnesh in the sixth house exalted wow i mean you know you're a supreme you're fantastic very idealistic i know a lot of people a friend of mine has that placement you know very very nice you know and she is very cool you know but there is a sense of aggression sometimes but it is kind of very you know she manages it very well you know so that but depends on what the planet is okay if it is mercury yes then you know you will be but again remember there is a sense of if it's with benefit the problem i have noticed with benefits and very uh well placed in the sixth house is that is if it's exalted or something like that then the trouble what happens with that is that you tend to kind of be a little bit passive aggressive so you kind of um you know push it down the aggressiveness inherent aggressiveness and conflict which doesn't help will be a little bit of this temperament irascible temper this may not always be true you know thievishness but there is an element of that gambler of course because it is the house of uh it is the eighth house eight any connection with the eighth house in the fifth house because you see from the eighth house from the paka lagna the tenth house is becomes the uh you know the what your karma is and you'll be interested in doing that so that house which is that will be the fifth house from the lagna so that means the focus is the fifth house creativity children you know uh gambling is also one of them but i think the positive side of gambling is more about risk taking so when you talk of the fifth house it's not really gambling per se but it is more about taking risks when you have children you're taking risk because there's no guaranteed income sorry a guaranteed outcome that oh they will be fantastic they will live you know there is no there is there is a sense of risk you are you know you can't take away the fundamental nature of the graha it is a rajas guna rajasthan will give you a lot of like you know gone more and more and more and more you know so um yeah so yes but deep down they will have some aspect of devotion towards sri vishnu but it's here in libra people's cases it's more like devotion to mahalakshmi you know the goddess of wealth but more more devotion to lakshmi i feel money exactly so that's what i'm saying so you have to understand that okay what the sign is but it will still hold true because if he did want to go on a slightly spiritual path later in time he will have that kind of bhakti anyway it will come okay man what is this what do you mean by this all this will vary depending on the planets associating or respecting lagnesha it is a absolutely yoga lagnesh in the 10th and lagnesh in the 11th is siddhi yoga guys make no mistake they are endowed with paternal happiness royalty honors and thrown okay yes who's got that same among uh men um fame uh from yeah fame amongst all the men doubted doubtlessly has self-earned wealth this is a children my husband yes and is that true um royalty or nothing so in his career position yes perhaps now yes and my kids it's too early to tell hey of course of course but um in your kids uh do you feel that they feel that they are endowed with paternal happiness is really distant from his it was retrograde and he had so many problems with his mother and you know um his stepmother and all of that so you see it really does manifest the pain and suffering if it is a malefic retrograde in the kendras okay but of course you know we have to figure out what the lagnesh the nature of the lag nation things like that okay okay lagnesh in the 11th native is always endowed with gains of wealth goals of clarity goals of clarity of objectives so they are always having some goals and uh they have clarity of objectives they are clear about what they want to achieve good qualities of the head very good because remember the 11th house is the also the house actual house of the physical guru he's sitting on your head if the lagnesh is gone then he's sitting on your head oh my god i think i need glasses here the yoga okay so it is also receives titles and honors and is celebrated because it's also a kind of siddhi yoga as i said um is everybody getting this um it's pretty straightforward yeah fame due to deeds and many relationships okay fame uh due to deeds and deeds meaning whatever um they have done you know lagnesh in the 11th they need a guru to open their extreme fortune think of one chart comes to mind think of swami vivekananda he had sagittarius lagna jupiter in the 11th house fantastic does all this apply to him indeed it does was he interested in wealth no not third house is the kama tricon so never ever forget you know the the trying the dharma trines wherever the from the lagnesh goes so for example if the lagnesh has gone in the 11th in the case of swami vivekananda his lagna then will come in the ninth house so that means that whole knowledge the whole mind is geared towards you know like lovely fantastic i want to learn i want to you know all of something or go to school and all that and continue their learning and he got them out of that you know in calcutta you could not do that and so he sort of um you know gave them in the mud a separate wing where they would be able to live there and spend their time in sadhanas and things like that so you see fame due to deeds so because of such deeds he has become sort of like a legendary because of that and the arrow log nine leo you know remember uh swami vivekananda's surya in lagna karaka so sa in the lagna so when you have leo a road because from paka lagna the aroot come is in the 11th house the paka lagna comes uh sorry the arud lagna comes in the 11 uh ninth house so the lord of the aroud lagna is surya which is his intelligence which is in lagna so that is a fantastic placement is everybody getting this i'm deliberately not putting up the chart so you guys can visualize a little bit here is everybody getting this tell me otherwise i will yes ma'am so um is yeah so if anyone know um that this lifetime you lose your way you know literally because all the other lagnesh has there is a sense of focus but when it comes to the 12th house you have to lose your way because it is the house of loss so you see um it is a problem okay it is a problem lagnesha the 12th but if it is a benefit it is fantastic even if it is a military and if it is aspected by a benefit superb you will be able to fight everything along you know you'll really be able to fight you are like a lion okay is everybody getting this the question is if but because of the nature of mercury that becomes maleficent when is with the maleficent so does this rule apply then if the lagna node is with a benefit you actually you are not devoid of physical policies no no one's like there are many many things here we are talking of lagnesh in the 12th okay we are not talking of any random um will always do you good it means now that is another story that whether it is you know um you have to figure out if you have dual lagnesha if you have a lagna which is got dual lagna laws then it's a different story but even then if one of the lagnesha goes in the 12th house and the other nature is strong then the karaka for the 12th the pisces one of the karakas is also venus so it brings your spouse so that is the kind of person if you have venus they're beautiful if you have rahu there maybe it's a foreign spouse you know fantastic but mangal and ketu are the worst of the planets in the 12th house because you will attract that kind of violence and stuff like that so when it uh this he's going to attract next year from january he will have mars mahadasha like the main dasha will start so all the problems will get activated because of this of course of course is he married yes two kids and the spouse is really dominating and hot-headed i don't know much about the spouse but the spouse is the doctor yeah but that doesn't matter but anyway he'll have a lot of support from his siblings though does he have no yes yes yes why did i say that why did i say that take a guess mars is sibling for third house perfect lovely fantastic sangeetha absolutely hit the point on the head yeah the karaka not whether it's exalted or not if it is debilitated you don't want lagnesh debilitated in the navams please it will destroy you okay it is banger anyone has that anyone i'm glad i didn't think any planet is uh debilitated in rashi and in nawaz that's what the planet that's we'll come to that that is also very powerful it will be good or a little bit bad well it depends on what house is ruling we can't really figure it out just like whether it's good or bad you know one thing won't be able to make up a story okay okay now listen we'll do quickly the bhavat bhavam and then i have to go okay um i will just introduce we all know the laksh the concept of lakshmi's tanas don't we yes yes okay we all know the concept of lakshmi's thanas and the concept is this very simple um that the kendras the lakshmi is one five and nine and a trines of planets here will give you the blessings you have the blessings of lakshmi and vishnu sthana is the one four seven and ten so um and the kendras are like the power houses okay of the entire um for your entire life they are like the sky and why do i say sky because one of the highest kendra houses is the tenth house when the sun is strong hot burning and at its peak in during midday so the sun is at the highest point it is in the swarga it is like in the 10th house so it is superb okay and that is the concept because the tenth is the highest kendra it is like the what we are born here to do it is your karma any planets here whether exaltation or not you should has got even more strength and power than a exalted planet in lagna okay so what i'm trying to tell you is that any planet in the tenth house you are literally you have to do what that planet is asking especially if it is exalted and etc etc and not just that that it will show you your predominant nature the your nature because it is the sattva guna exaltation is vishnu energy okay so it's like a double vishnu energy you're getting exaltation planet in the tenth house and you have it's the tenth house is also the gagan or the swarga lagna or the heaven heavenly lagna one of the highest kendras and hence it's like a double double dose of vishnu you're getting so you've got to do that you have to appreciate that so you are literally it will dominate your life it will dominate all the life it will give you results throughout your life by a transit by a this by an antar dasha it will give you results all the time okay well if you have like the same exalted planet in the uh lakshmi's than it may not give you like results all the time because it is not kendra it is a tricorner power so tricone is like the trinal one so they have a energy of shakti okay so it's different okay and hence the desires and the plans do not work in these grahas which are in the kendra especially in the tenth house will push their agenda forward so it's like forget about what you have in mind it's what the planet the graha has in mind never forget this fundamental principle okay so especially now the trouble is it's much nicer to have a planet in the tenth house or or in exaltation rather than in lagna because the trouble with planets in lagna is like your intelligence is gripped it takes over and it takes you away with that okay so you are literally at the mercy of that graha that's the problem with it you're not free you don't have any freedom okay um that is the nature of it okay malefic planets in kendra's being weak indicate success whereas strong benefits um like swag shatra exaltation multi-kona or friendly spine are a huge blessing in the kendras they also form the pancha mahapurush yoga with the five paragraphs which we haven't done none of the yogas but i'm just adding a little bit little extra bit for you to consider and think about okay so let's say you have saturn i think oksana has got saturn in the 10th house exalted it is also had lagnesh it is a siddhi yoga indeed and it is she has no choice in the matter she has to just follow her lagnesh blindly and also it is with venus yes yes but that is you know venus and own sign let's forget about that okay yeah you know we won't bother with that you know so so you see and she has to what does she have to do to strengthen that saturn exalted it will give results throughout her life what does she have to do make the karaka strong who is the karaka of the 10th house no cure yes it's in the 12th house but it's also in uh actually uh so the sixth house is also ruled by mercury then so if i do activate mercury do i not activate the sixth house as well no okay because it is not the karaka for the sixth house it is the karaka for the 12th uh for the tenth house that's why how do you activate mercury well any guesses there was that mantra on vishnu yeah but that is one of of pisces pisces the ruler when it we talk of pisces the ruler is jupiter and okay when the combination of jupiter and ketu occurs we are talking of you know immediately it's like having a conjunction of jupiter and ketu in pisces because it is the natural 12th house it connects you to the lineages all the lineages it will connect you to and when we talk of lineage then we are talking about nothing but about the rishis i see but okay i understand but why does god not hear our mantras or prayers for the sixth and the twelfth houses just uh i don't know how to put that in the correct way the god doesn't hear our mantras for these houses or just he doesn't want to act on that um it is not about he doesn't want to hear he wants you to only the rishis will respond to it that's what i'm saying you know you can't go to a ice cream shop and ask for a tuna fish sandwich can you yeah but is it because it is connected with your karma or with your past life deeds or something like that absolutely absolutely past life you know uh sixth house is your shadripu so you know how do you get rid of your shadripu you know it's all your vices and all that you have to go through that suffering you have to go through and altering your uh mind you know and what will help vedanta will help you know bhagavad-gita will help in your case it is definitely the bhagavad-gita in combination with the um the rishi mantra of mercury which is uh pulatsya is the uh uh rishi for mercury okay but anyway i'm digressed too much again so thank you thank you for that but if you could please could you please put up some rishi mantras remember we've done all the rishis remember that you guys should know all the rishis by now but anyway again um uh have a look in the previous sections i have uh you know dealt with hanuman you know it's very very strong when the 10th lord is in the 10th it's a fantastic yoga so you see you have to evaluate on what is going on case-by-case okay so don't get confused we haven't then count that many it comes back to lagna so it is that means the bhavat bhavam for the first house and the seventh house is in the lagna okay that's number one number two uh second house bhavat bhavan comes to the third house is everybody clear on that yes that's why we put bts okay and where else does it come so if we count eighth house it is also the eighth house which is an even house second house and the eighth house is an even house so if we count from the eighth from the eighth okay it comes in the third house so b2 and bhavat bhavam of the second house bhavat bhavam of the eighth house is in the third house which is an odd house understood yes it's easy yes i'll do one i'll do one more i will do the 11th house and then we move to the next concept of how the chandas and arud lagna gets linked here okay and this is important because bulk of your remedies will come from the bhavat bhavam okay now um if um the for the 11th house um one two three four five six this is the sixth house from the lagna sixth house is six places away from the sixth house six places you get the eleventh house so bhavat bhavam of the sixth house is also the 11th house as well as the 12th bhava bhavan for the 12th house is also the 11th house okay understood guys simple rest you can work it out yourself because it's clear again thank you that's all i wanted now when we talk of the chandas this is an old slide if you i've brought it back from there from brahmavidya which we did if you remember that each of the vedangas are like jyotishes summer season kalpa the meaning is the hands of khal purusha it is the falls in the spring season is has his association nirupta which is the meaning of the vedangas is the winter the vyakrena is the rainy season [Music] which is nothing but the grammar which is associated with the jalapa but what we are interested is in the chandas chandas is nothing but the feet you know what the rhythm when we talk of feet we are talking of rhythm when we are talking of rhythm and feet we are talking of the value value is called locomotion that is it's like the ability to travel the ability to flow from one place to another locomotive okay it's think of the locomotive engine it's like flowing it's going from one place to another one place to another that is shani and it is associated with the shishir ritu which is called nothing but the season the cold cold deep winter that is the time of the chandas okay that is the only thing that we are interested in so here another um chandas um association here the chandas is um hang on um uh chanda associated um with it is in the uh shisha ritu which is a deep deep winter january in february capricorn and aquarius is when these rashis are active okay um the hindu or the lunar um uh calendar is called maga to falgoon okay those are the uh ritus or the seasons associated with it now what does the chandas mean chandas is nothing but the rhythm the various um is the the knowledge associated with dancing singing and drama and theater which is a big part of the vedic culture and there it talks about the rhythm you can't write anything if you don't have a rhythm we don't mean just in dancing we mean in prose poetry in language all of that is uh is resonating at some level with the sound and the sound needs to be classified in terms of the letters alphabets and in terms of certain sort of like sounds uh classification in terms of how you put together the syllables okay and this refers to the sanskrit prosody and represents one of the six vedangas chandas as we just saw earlier and the science of chanda the prosody focuses on the study of the poetic meters such as commonly known as the 26 meters there are 26 various kinds of meters or classification depending on the syllables and this is mentioned by pingala pingala is one of the grammarian sanskrit the grammarian very very famous absolute master so the chandras are made up of four quarter verses also known as padas or foots okay so that is another definition of it then there are 26 classes of chandas which we will come to okay so you understand so for example the rig veda is written in the gayatri chanda which is the 12 syllable 24 syllable keep adding 12 plus 12 24 and so on and so forth and you start getting like a rhythm it's like a foot you know you're putting one foot then another foot and another foot it's the rhythm that is forming okay now here revisiting the bhavat bhavam here we are now suddenly getting if you add the bhavat bhavam of the third house which is the bhava bhavam of the second and the eighth you get how many eight plus two is ten and so one of the greatest kriti chanda or the viraj chanda it's a specific chanda which is like 10 plus 10 is 20 20 plus 20 is 40 so that means you are doing a kind of like a adding double adding the same um chandas okay that chanda count and that means you're getting a specific chanda called the kriti chanda which is 20 syllables so mantras which are kriti chanda in the syllables of 20 like for example i think there is a very famous tara mantra very fantastic it's one of my favorite it is in 20 syllables i think it's [Music] so if you add up all of these then you will get 20 syllables and you add on to it it will be 21 syllables but essentially it is in the kriti chanda okay mantras done in kriti chanda is very very powerful for resolution for the third house or the third lord okay if you're having problems with it go for the kriti chanda okay obviously the 40 syllable is a bit tedious to do but much prefer the 20 uh chanda or 20 syllable similarly for the fifth house what is the fifth house three plus nine bhava bhavam of the third house bhavat bhavam of the ninth house you add it up you get the syllable uh 12 syllables you get the 12 count and the guy three chanda is in the syllable 12 plus 12 is 24 gayatri is 24 chandas 8 3 into sets of three swaha is extra by vrt that you add but names that's the guy 3 mantra it is 24 syllables okay if you want to know more about the how the classification is it's into the 8 8 and 8 into 3 3 three words okay so google it you will find it gayatri chanda gayatri
