• This initiative is being started by Dr. Shivan and Mudit Jan Sir

Importance

• Very little time to prepare for Mains after Prelims
• Preparation after Prelims is very important
• Dr. Shivan mentioned being ready for Mains in advance in his second attempt

Meaning of Mains Ready

• Three Stages:
  1. Content
  2. Answer Writing
  3. Test

Content

• Covering each topic in the syllabus
• Studying previous years' questions
• Inclusion of current events
• Example of a subject: Naxalism:
  • Link: Development and Naxalism
  • Drivers and Causes
  • Government Schemes
  • Role of Women
  • Forest Rights Act

Answer Writing

• Previous years' questions and new probable questions
• Time-bound writing:
  • 10 marks question in 10 minutes
  • 15 marks question in 11 minutes

Test

• Writing 20 questions in 3 hours

Process of Initiative

1. Strategy Session
2. Daily Targets and Target Tracking
   • Setting and tracking daily goals
   • Importance of Affirmations
3. Studying Quality Content
4. Answer Writing and its Evaluation
   • Live Evaluation Session

Your Responsibility

• Regularity and Consistency
• Following Guidance
• 5-6 hours daily for GS and SA
• 3 hours daily for Optional

Schedule

• Note making and content usage sessions from July 12
• GS 3 and GS 4 sessions along with answer writing
• Special sessions on History and Geography in December
• Complete Mains preparation by January 4

For MMP Plus Members

• Will remain in Coordination
• Strategy sessions and content distribution will be the same
• Write Smart and LAWS programs included

Conclusion

• If worked in the right direction, ready for Mains by January 4
• Regularity and following the right guidance are crucial
