we will be attempting to sleep alone at four of the most haunted hotel rooms in the most haunted city in America this place gives me creams you someone was just walking on my balcony oh my God my sink my sink just turned on it's on what is up everybody welcome back to project fear so we are currently standing in what is known to be the most haunted city in America we are in Virginia City Nevada today we have something very special for you something very terrifying for you we are notorious for sleeping alone at haunted locations and tonight we have booked four of the most haunted hotel rooms in this city the most haunted hotels in the most haunted City haunted hotels haunted City we have two of the most haunted rooms booked at the Silver Queen hotel room 11 at the Silver Queen hotel and room 13 at the Silver Queen hotel and then we have two hotel rooms booked at the Gold Hill hotel which is a couple miles up the road room four at the Gold Hill Hotel in room five at the Gold Hill Hotel the keys to these haunted rooms will be put in this bag we're going to draw a key and wherever you get is where you're spending the rest of the night it's going to suck so bad once we get to our hotel rooms we will read a packet of information that will tell us why it is so haunted all right let's do this let's let's draw all right I don't even know go first go first I think Dak all right all right I'll go first they all are the same key tooth I have the room four at the Gold Hill Hotel all right Chelsea it's a blue blue silver queen that means [Music] 13 Gold Hill Gold Hill room number five I have room 11 at the Silver Queen I don't know what that means we'll find out guess what we also have another bonus treat for you guys oh yeah super special like super fun thing Conor so at the Gold Hill Hotel we actually booked the miner Lodge which is a a whole entire Lodge just just for you yeah just for you and it's super haunted so not only will we be spending the night in haunted rooms but you will also be spending the night at a very haunted room I'm supposed to be sleeping you will you can you can you have a whole entire Lodge Great this is awesome dude thanks for including me I 2 m drive and then we are at the Gold Hill Hotel Connor you're a part of it B dude I'm not ready for this y literally screwed buddy how do you guys do this like actually though how do you do this we're so used to sleeping alone being 4 hours this is more like 8 9 10 hours if anything weird happens to me please like respond I'm begging we will we will it right here this is the Gold Hill I don't see a single car on the parking lot it's just us unless there's someone the back oh my God actually though it's just us there's no one else here I think this that's the minor yeah this is definitely the minor cab that's the hotel oh gosh we're the only ones here there is no one in this entire Hotel let's get all of the gear in the miners lods yeah oh my god dude holy crap all right let's uh let's grab our gear let's grab our gear [Music] we just brought all the gear in and set it up here so it's probably a little bit messy in here just because we're using this as our base camp Dakota and Alex just went to the hotel I'm really really scared to be in [Music] here oh my gosh dude hello is there anyone in here with me I can't believe we're actually the only ones here that's such a weird coincidence like we got really lucky actually there's not even workers here there's not even staff here it's just us we know for sure 100% if we hear any walking around bumps bangs it's not another guest yeah this is going to be really creepy yeah so here's the front desk no one is [Music] working the Gold Hill First Steps in all right all right let's go check in and then maybe after we read the packet we can explore this at the end of the hall is our room Al okay it's pink I'm going to get my stuff situated and then read this packet got my toiletry bag got the packet and a bunch of ghost equipment because I don't know what to expect so I kind of just brought everything [Music] oo okay I am in room number five now all right so I have the packet of information about The Gold Hill Hotel here we go all right I'm going to read the packet right now the Gold Hill Hotel the Gold Hill Hotel has the distinction of being the oldest existing hotel in the state of Nevada as it has been serving people since since 1859 when it was built after the huge gold and silver discovery made in the adjacent mountains this historic building has been a rooming house for workers in the mines a local bar a brothel and has gone through periods of nonuse but has managed to stand the test of time for over 160 years among the documented death caused by disease natural causes and murder was an incident that claimed the lives of many tragedy struck the town on April 7th 1869 when a fire broke out in the Yellow Jacket mine the fire started 800 ft below the surface and burned so hot that it crumbled the surrounding support beams and nearly every tunnel collapsed under the intense Heat and and pressure the hotel was pressed into Service as a makeshift hospital for those lucky enough to be rescued it is estimated that between 35 and 40 miners perished in the Smoke in Flames up to 11 bodies are still trapped in the adjacent mine to this day jeez this mine that we're talking about the Yellow Jacket mine it is right below our feet right now and Connor who's in the miners Lodge right now he's even closer to the entrance to the mine literally right behind this building is the old head frame and there are still bodies below me right now in the mine okay so this is the miner's Lodge and right behind it look at this this would have been the entrance to the Yellow Jacket mine tragic to think about the accident that happened that fire in the Yellow Jacket mine is what a lot of people believe to be the root cause of The Haunting in this hotel and in Virginia City all right haunted accounts many visitors report seeing the figure of a woman dressed in 1800s period clothing floating up and down the hallways in the great hall or the bar people report hearing the sound of old music and people having conversations at all hours of the night room four that's where I am known as Rosy's room Rosie is said to have been a lady of the night who was allegedly murdered in Cold Blood and she seems to have taken a liking to this room guests often find themselves being awakened in the middle of the night by unexplained knocking on the door and walls there have been reports of objects disappearing only to reappear shortly after all right here we go room five this room is haunted by the spirit of a minor named William who is thought to be one of the 47 men who perish in the horrible Yellow Jacket mine fire apparently he ran into the mine to try and save his fellow workers but ultimately succumb to the Smoke in Flames he likes to be a little more aggressive than the other spirits in the hotel he will slam doors and move objects around in the room and don't be surprised if you get locked out of your room William likes to lock people out to the point where even the key won't open the door so it sounds like I won't be getting a whole lot of sleep tonight man this place has seen a lot of history well that's the packet I think what we're going to do now is I'm going to meet up with Dakota and we're going to just kind of explore what the [ __ ] yo yo did you hear that no no way I'm coming oh my god dude dude that was not you no someone was just walking on my balcony I was like when we get to editing to see if it sounded like it was outside or inside cuz I really couldn't tell all I know is behind me but like that's freaky dude dude this is so freaky and we haven't even started okay what do you want to do I mean since we're not going to disturb anyone in the hotel like I wouldn't mind like grabbing a couple pieces of equipment and like walking around exploring the hotel about to stay at the Silver Queen all by ourselves oh my gosh we might be the only ones at this hotel I don't really know so this will be really interesting oh man what I believe your room's on the left it's that one right there number 13 where's your room right here Room [Music] 11 what it's creepy as [ __ ] what is you Bo hey yours is pink that's cute this has given me really weird vibes okay well have fun see you later see you Welcome to My Crib feel very awkward with the tripod and the camera facing towards the hotel bed I'm just saying that out loud okay I just do not like the vibe of this my go so creepy man this is the oldest hotel in the city this is is a pretty old city all right here we go okay time to find out why this place is so haunted the Silver Queen Hotel known as the oldest hotel in the wild West Town of Virginia City the original building operated as two completely different businesses the mellis owned and ran the hotel while the saloon was a separately run business known then as the capital Saloon much like many of the businesses in the city at the time the hotel was not spared by the great fire of 1875 and unfortunately sustained large amounts of damage from the blades that burned almost 85% of the city amazingly enough the damages were renovated rather quickly in 1963 Jared and Carol Eaton became the new owners he commissioned an artist to create a mural of his wife in the hotel that is made up of 3,261 silver coins this is also when they renamed the hotel to the Silver Queen Hotel there is a lot of Gossip surrounding the couple rumor has it that Mr Eaton was having an affair and wanted a divorce from his wife Mrs Eon did not believe in divorce and adamantly denied his request one day while Mr Eden was away on business Mrs Eaton was found dead from a gunshot wound in her Hotel Apartment the coroner ruled that the gunshot wound was self inflicted yet some were suspicious of Foul Play man it just very dark [Applause] turn haunted a [Music] it is not uncommon for guests and visitors to have the overwhelming sense that someone is watching their every move people have reported hearing the sounds of high heels and Boots walking on wood floors up and down the hallways there are numerous photographs of apparitions taken throughout all parts of the [Music] hotel no matter where you are in the hotel you can rest assured that you are not alone especially where you are sitting right now room 13 guests have heard distinct whispering in their ears knocking on the walls and Phantom footsteps coming from within the room some guests have even claimed to have been grabbed while they were trying to sleep great this room just got a whole lot creepier Room 11 this is known as the most haunted room in the entire hotel it is said that in the late 1800s a lady of the night named Rose used to stay in this room as she operated her business out of the hotel no one knows for certain whether she took her own life or if her death was a staged murder but they found her in the bathtub with her wrist slid in this bathtub right here are you kidding me oh come on [Music] guests who stay in this room have seen her Apparition out of the corner of their eye it is common to hear a woman whispering in your ear one could argue that Rose never quite completely checked out of the Silver [Music] Queen okay I'm not going to get any sleep there's no way so um just read the packet not very happy about it not very happy about this guy well I'm going to go meet up with Chelsea and uh let's just wander this place a little bit explore yeah hey you want to wander the hotel a little bit sure I know right kind of not kind of not but kind of he's are the creepiest Hall I know okay so the front and the back door are just wide Acoustics are really weird like you can't tell where the noises are coming from no not at all do we go up there you want to go up there we should go up there okay okay this place officially gives me definitely can't tell if that was a person or freaking ghost I can't tell if we're the only ones in here or not we do know there's an empty parking lot yep so that's true like there's no one parked out there that doesn't mean that there's no one here we have to keep that in mind tonight right could be a person but the parking lot is empty but it's empty [Music] I definitely feel like we're being a lady of the night male minor like an adult minor works in the Min works in the m and I'm hanging out with Rosie the lady of the night so I brought a music box and I'm going to try to set this on in the hall way right outside our doors while we go explore the whole hotel you know basically this device it picks up motion so if anything does walk along this hall or out of your room out of my room this will let us know by playing a [Music] song Let's explore this place okay okay let's just kind of walk around there's no one here if you can hear our voices can you make a noise okay what's in
