all right we're back and um just for clarity I don't know what's going on with this thing uh give me a second let's close it down do like we did before there we go okay so we now need to tackle the question of what solution don't know why it does this all the time we now need to tackle the question of what solution or offer makes sense for the group in uh number two right so uh just kind of continuing with the analogy if we centered around this topic of investment strategy strategy for retirement plans how could we well a couple things first is this something we enjoy is this something we can get really passionate about like want to wake up in the morning and figure stuff out uh going to bed with ideas about it uh and and then and then getting good at it like like really really honing in on investment strategy stuff is this something are we willing to read books about this you know get further educated about this maybe even pursue excuse me additional certific ations and uh designations that may help us with this maybe maybe and if that is the case I say yes move forward um the other opt the other thing uh that's you know I guess important with this is not only investment strategy but retirement plans like if you're going to be doing this specifically for people that are working right now uh and they have a retirement plan like a 401k or 403b or any of that kind of stuff right uh that's what we're going to be concentrating on and that is a pretty big pool of people right uh but could we get even more specialized by default have a smaller group of people but our solution is more tailored it and feels more customed to them and it won't feel as generic right because we could always kind of blow up and go a level up in our teaching and in our content creation but the solution that we create is for you know that group of people if that makes sense so like what you're saying from a Content creation standpoint when we talk about that Mo and your brand and all that kind of stuff uh the marketing we want to make sure that the person that we really want to work with here's the message it doesn't need to feel like it's for everybody it needs to feel like it's for them and what you're doing is you're just finding a whole lot of them it doesn't need to be Mass Appeal though it needs to feel customized so what we may start thinking about then in that regard is okay there's a lot of 401K plans and do I want to do this for working people or not working people let's call them retired right that would be probably the bucket like think about people that have their retirement already and they're looking for a way to make that grow versus someone that's building their retirement because they're working right now right uh you might even think through which group of people could pay for your solution right and think think outside the box this does not mean you have to be managing their assets obviously that's a pretty easy way that everybody understands uh that you can get paid but it doesn't have to be the only way right there's there's other ways and when we talk about Investments strategy you know uh I think there's some offshoots to that also there could be you know are we are we going to be active versus passive right passive meaning like index funds ETFs mutual funds active meaning like I'm picking stocks or I'm picking portfolio managers or uh investment managers so there's a lot of different ways that you can kind of break this up okay and I would I would I would say you want to get granular on that um because what we're talking about is building your offer what is and let's just kind of Define and spend a little bit time a little bit of time on that term offer uh there's a lot of great definitions myON golden has a really great definitions I'm that I'm not going to be able to say word for word right now um actually I I I I want to use his definition as kind of the foundation of um of what I'm talking about so let me just find it give me just a second I I I will find this fairly quickly because I think I have just cue the Jeopardy music or drink you some coffee right now uh okay so here's the definition of an offer that I like uh and just write this down it is the opportunity you give a potential client to exercise their desire to buy or otherwise obtain the thing that you help them realize they've desired okay um let me repeat that again because there's some more to it that I I I'm just looking at my notes and I put it here in a way I put it in a way that makes sense to me but may not make sense to you so let me say this again an offer is the opportunity you give a potential client to exercise their desire to buy or otherwise obtain the thing that you help them realize they desire all along at a price you previously decided on and that they've subsequently agreed to so what that connotates is that an offer has nothing to do with you convincing anybody like twisting their arm that's not what an offer is about an offer is about you persuading someone to do something they already wanted to do right so I think the way the short version of what I would say is an offer is the solution you provide that they already want that's how that's what an offer is it's the solution you provide that they already want so this this Intimates a couple different things specifically this you got to know what they want and that's why you do so much research and spend so much time on number two because if you don't know what they want and you're providing and creating Solutions and and wondering why no one's buying it well there you go because nobody wants it it may be something that you're super passionate about and that you're you do really well but nobody wants it so who cares you know that's that's kind of where a lot of advisers I would say mess this up or screw this up so Solutions are all about what someone already wants they're already signaling that they want this right so um with that being said let's craft a solution based on what we've been talking about um in this session and see how we can use chat gbt to do this and and I'm G try to bring this in for a landing in the next let's call it four to five minutes okay so we know investment strategy we know retirement plans uh we know there's a lot of people that want to know about viable investment strategies for their retirement plans right so what if your solution was um let's say and I'm just creating an avatar from scratch let's say that um I'm sorry I'm creating a brand a personal brand from scratch so your personal brand is um let's say you want to be the retirement plan um educator so people know what their people know if you use the term retirement plan people are going to know what you're talking about if you use the ter term educator people are going to know what you can talk about so we're not going to word Smith this on the first try that's this is your job but let's just say that's your brand and so people would be begin to think that in associate with that that this person has expertise around retirement plans is going to teach me how they work you don't have to put the investment strategist that do it it like these are things that come along later but the topown macro thought for the personal brand that we're establishing for this exercise is going to be the retirement plan educator right so a retirement plan educator would offer the solution of educating uh let's call it the public but really it's going to be your avatar on how retirement plans how they work how to make them uh excuse me okay how they work how to make them work for you uh and maybe we think about something I just think in threes because people that's just kind of how the psychology of how people remember stuff so um maybe this is um what they're for what they are for because what you can do is you can get into some conspiracy theory that is out there about why the 401K is invented and uh that it was really not for blah blah blah you know you can get into that kind of stuff if you if you say that but because you're educating you're you're providing information and insight for them to possibly change their perspective this is not about what you can sell right now not for this part of the exercise this is about again what they already want they have this desire about you know um making sure they got the right investment strategy for their retirement plan but there's a foundation that needs to be laid around around Education First that will help them realize if they have the right investment strategy for their retirement plan at least that's the way I'm thinking about it as the retirement plan educator so uh you're educating uh the public on how retirement plans I say what on on retirement plans to say retirement plans what they're for how they work and how to make them work for you right so that is your that's kind of like your mission or your purpose for being this personal brand and all your marketing stems from that particular Persona does this make sense hopefully it does okay that's where your marketing stems now we can get into a whether or not you're G to pay for chat GPT I don't I don't really know what else to say about that uh a second notic there we go okay so what we're gonna do is we're going to and I don't remember everything that I said from the last one and I know I'm over time but hopefully this will be helpful so what we're going to do is we're gonna have this conversation with chat GPT uh that basically starts with um because what we want is maybe some um we want some ideas on what type of content we would create because that's the whole purpose of this is where are we going to start and how would we start creating content inside of a Content calendar a Content schedule and what platform what we do that on and da da d da to reach these people okay so uh what we're going to say is um you are a marketing and personal brand strategist my personal brand is the retirement plan educator I help educate my ideal client avatar on on retirement claims what they are for how they work and how to make them work for the let's say the plan participant because ja chat GPT may not know uh uh what for you means work for the plan participant I need for you to ask me any clarifying questions before you help me create a marketing strategy I'm going to say ie public awareness campaign that does the following because this is what we want chat chat gbt to be aware of is to um make my personal brand known we wanted to also attract my ideal audience let me just read read back through this I need for you to ask me any clarifying questions before you help me create a marketing strategy that does the following make my personal brand known attract my ideal audience for the solutions I offer and for yeah so let's just keep it there so this is a pretty good prompt so I think it is a pretty good prompt um you're marketing you are Marketing in personal brand strategies that is the context that you want chat TBT to be uh thinking out of and then you want to tell them your personal brand my personal brand is the retirement plan educator I help educate my ideal client avatar on retirement plans what they are for how they work and how to make them work for the plan participants I need you to I need you to ask me any clarifying questions before you help me create a marketing strategy I.E a public awareness campaign that does the following make my personal brand known um we could probably put a little bit more context IE I want to be the sought um sorry my Bluetooth um is keyboard is screwing up now I want I want to be the sought after expert in this area so that's good context context is always important for the conversation with chat PT chat GPT expert expert uh R there we go uh and attract my ideal audience for the solutions I offer okay so let's throw that out there and see what happens and I'll probably this this needs to be the last video but this will help you kind of move into what I think will help you create faster so that you can iterate and create better that's the whole goal okay so before I dive into crafting a tailored marketing strategy I'd like to gather some details about your brand target audience and overall objectives which you should have from the from part two of the exercise all your Google research okay so it's asking who exactly is your ideal client are they employees self-employed individuals business owners or perhaps Financial professionals looking to learn more about retirement cents all great questions whether demographics age income Geographic locations psychographics DT pain points of this audience some of this stuff may or may not be relevant but this gets your brain thinking in the right way about about this current brand positioning how long have you been working as a retirement plan educator do you currently have established online presence what messaging your or content has resonated most with your audience so far you could be like I just start I'm just opening my firm right and I want to be known for this you can clar re clarify stuff like that uh service arm could you elaborate on the specific Solutions you offer for example do you provide one-on-one consultations Group D so we get into all this and what you're going to do now or what's going to happen after you answer those questions is CAD GPT is then GNA offer you uh some ideas around how you could start creating content and you can even say I plan like we were saying in the previous video I plan to go live for 30 minutes on a platform to help people understand my style of uh advice and how I educate and blah blah blah you can say stuff like that so this is one way that I think you again create so that you can iterate and and create better better content and faster okay so that's kind of the whole goal of this hopefully this has been helpful and we'll put a uh we we'll put a pen in it for here today
