hear in the name of jesus and lord god father as we hear your voice we also ask that the grace to do the words that we will hear release onto us in the mighty name of jesus and lord today you said you are relocating that's the word i heard relocating relocating thank you in the mighty name of jesus that everyone that needs to be relocated lord in the realms of the spirit will grab onto that word in the mighty name of jesus and we see a physical manifestation as men and women will come to testify in the mighty name of jesus and lord at the end of the day i am yours the word is yours the people are yours therefore the glory will be yours in jesus most precious name we pray amen amen and amen we may be seated god bless you well today very quickly let's go into the word i'll be ministering on your location is key to your progress your location is key to your progress your location is key to your progress i want you to know that the importance of location to our progress cannot be overemphasized many of us do not take note neither do we consider the fact that your location whether physically or spiritually can and does directly impact your progress your location physically or spiritually can and does affect your progress last week whilst pastor was ministering he identified several reasons why believers remain poor in spite of the provision that god has made for us he said and i quote in our world today many saints are like rolling stones gathering moth who refuse to be planted in the house of god he said if you are planted by the lord you will prosper and he shared three scriptures with us that i would also like to repeat this morning psalm 1 verse 1-3 psalm 1 verse 1-3 it says blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly nor stands in the path of sinners nor sits in the seat of the scornful but his delight is in the law of the lord and in his law he meditates day and night it says he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth its fruit in its season whose leaf also shall not wither and whatever he does shall prosper it says the man is like a tree that is planted and the minute he is planted his trees is his leaves will not wither he will bring forth fruit and he will prosper he gave us psalm 92:12-15 psalm 92:12-15 it says the righteous shall flourish like a palm tree he shall grow like a cedar in lebanon those who are planted in the house of the lord shall flourish in the courts of our god you can see that connection when you are planted rightly the next thing is that what is that you shall flourish they shall bear they shall still bear fruit in old age they shall be fresh and flourishing we can stop there now give me jeremiah 23:3-4 these were scriptures the pastor gave to us uh last sunday he says "but i will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries where i have driven them and bring them back to their folds and they shall be fruitful and increase." the minute you are in your fold what do you expect fruitfulness and increase so the key word there is planted where god has planted you if you are in the right place the outcome is that you'll be fruitful and you will increase so the next thing is are you in the right place that's the question we're going to look at today are you in the right place we're going to start our journey today from the father of faith himself we're going to start with abraham in the book of genesis 12 start from verse 1 to 4 genesis 12 1-4 it says "now the lord had said to abram get out of your country from your family and from your father's house to a land that i will show you." it says "and i will make you a great nation i will bless you and make your name great and you shall be a blessing i will bless those who bless you and i will curse him who curses you and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed so abram departed as the lord had spoken to him and lot went with him and abraham was 75 years old when he departed now this walk of faith that god is going to have with abraham the bible says that the first instruction that god gives to abraham is that he should get out of the place the word to get out simply means to go out and to escape from and i'm wondering god why are you starting the journey by telling him to get out that means that if where abraham was staying was a good place god would not need to tell him to get out am i right to assume that if he was in the right place there's no need for him to say get out so the fact that god is starting the instructions with the word get out is to show to us that there's something wrong with that location so god says he should do what he should come out of his family of his home of his nation because god realizes that everything he wants to do he cannot do it whilst abraham is still there and i want to tell you that there's so much that god has planned and purposed for you this year there's so much that god has prepared for you this year but you know what everything he has planned and he has prepared if god is telling you that you need to get out he's saying that first because you're in the wrong location now the wrong location is not necessarily just geographical the wrong location could be the career that you are in the wrong location could be the business that you are doing the wrong location could even be the course that you are studying or the path you have created for yourself i believe god that by the holy spirit he will tell you which area he's talking about that's one thing about god when he's speaking he knows how to speak to everybody individually we can all be here and hear so many different things but the one that is yours you will hear it from god so the first thing that god says to abraham is that you need to get out that means that everything i want to do for you i cannot do it whilst you are staying here and god is saying that there's so many things he wants to do for you he cannot do it whilst you are in that place that position that location even the state of mind sometimes we think a movement is physical some of us the state of mind that we're currently occupied with there are certain things god cannot do with that frame of mind the bible says that as a man thinkketh so what so is he if you still have grasshopper mentality how will you what how will you kill giants how will you go out and battle so repositioning there is not just geographical alone it covers so many areas so the first thing god said to him is what get out and move to the right place and i want to say something about relocating sometimes we believe that moving from one place or let me put it this way sometimes we believe that moving from the wrong place to another place is the right place do you understand the difference sometimes we move from the wrong place to another place but it's not the right place are you following me there is a right place in god so god is not just saying that you move to another place well god is saying that you need to move to the right place so there are three places the wrong place another place and the right place so what you are going to ask god to reveal to you is where is that right place that god has for you and we've already said it already that the reason why god is asking abraham to move out is because the promises he has for him cannot be fulfilled whilst he's in that place that means the geographical location of abraham is a hindrance to what god wants to do how many people remember that this is still our year of what dream fulfillment have you asked yourself why have those dreams not come to pass yet could it be that you are in the wrong place could it be that you are in another place could it be that you are not in the right place yet because god says "i will make you a great nation i will bless you i will make you great i will do this." but what you need to get out first that means all the things that god has planned for us there needs to be some relocation and how do we know the things that god has planned for us let's look at the book of psalm 31 it says "oh how great is your goodness." can you read that which you have laid up for those who for those who fear you which you have done what which you have prepared for those who trust in you so what is the key word there the bible says god has laid it up the bible says god has prepared it the question is how will he get it across to you when something is laid up for you it is kept in storage god has kept so many things for you in storage god has laid up so many things for you god has prepared so many things for you now god is saying that for you to be able to access it you must be in the right location look at jeremiah 29:11 it says "for i know the thoughts that i think towards you says the lord thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you a future and a hope." we're looking at scriptures showing to us what god has planned for us god has said "i have planned a future i have planned a hope for you i have prepared things for you i have laid in stock things for you the question is how are you going to access them?" you cannot access them except you are in the right place so he says to abraham the first instruction is you need to come out you need to get out for abraham it was a geographical location like i said i don't know what it is for you i don't know what come out means to you but the holy spirit will tell you what it means look at 1 corinthians chapter 2:9 1 corinthians chapter 2:9 it says "but as it is written eye has not seen nor hear nor have entered into the heart of man the things which god has prepared for those who love him." again looking at that word prepared what god has prepared for you 2025 in a few weeks june is ending half year has gone what are the things that god has prepared for you and said this 2025 it will not pass you by and god is saying it is ready it is in stock it is waiting for you and god is saying i just need to do what i need you to reposition yourself so the first assignment that god gave to abraham was for him to relocate thank god abraham set a good example for us in genesis 12:4 the bible says that abraham departed let's read let's read this particular verse it says "so abraham departed as the lord had spoken to him and lot went with him and abraham was 75 years old when he departed from aaron." from this particular scripture there are three things i want to bring out the first thing is the bible says abraham departed as the lord had spoken to him so the issue is that god spoke to him that means that he did not go because he felt like it he did not go because others were going he did not go because circumstances forced him to go he went because he heard clearly god said go that is the major problem for most of us sometimes most times our movement is because others are moving as well how many people want to jack now if i give you free american visa you go put your hand up don't be ashamed you are even putting your hand up in the house of god so if i just stamp your passport now pal you will just go ah lawyer's wife hey you cannot go the lawyer's wife cannot go she knows herself but you know what sometimes we do that movement because others are going as well but the bible says it's because god said to abraham that's why he went i remember this story i will never forget it the brother in this church i don't know where he is now i've i've not seen him in a very long time during those years when we're in latin everybody was still the movement was not much then but he also decided to move so there he was he went to uk and believed the golden whatever he was looking for was in uk year one the first job he got was a cleaner in a hospital year two the second job he got was a cleaner in another place year three the third job he got was a cleaner in another he didn't wait until year four he returned back home why did he return back home he returned back home because he knew that there's something wrong when he returned back home i said "it is better you come back home now ask god where are you supposed to be?" you see many people follow the bandwag bad bandwagon you know we're all moving we're all moving we're all moving but the bible says abraham obeyed as god spoke to him whatever relocation that you are going to do by the mercies of god do not do it because others are doing it many have lost their marriages many have lost their children many have lost their self-worth many have lost their dignity many have lost their prosperity because they said it is better do you know what is waiting for you then the bible says "and god said." so if god is the one that has told you i'm telling you go ahead but if it's because others are doing it please don't bother lesson number two the bible says that abraham took lot with him and i want you to be careful i wrote it here be careful who you take along this journey with you it's not everybody that should go with you even who you call your what your immediate family i believe that if lot had stayed his life would have been better than following abraham because his end was a horrible end as far as i can see the trajectory of his life it's not everybody that should go on a journey with you i remember the story pastor used to share here about when his pastor called him that he should employ somebody and then he employed the person into his office then the office that used to be bubbling day one day two people stopped people stopped coming to the office ah the pastor said he took a bottle of water and said he's going to seek the face of god that he will fast for 3 days until god appears and tell him what god said don't bother killing yourself it is that person that you put in your face he said he packed the guy and told him be going then he now went to tell his pastor that pastor please that guy you gave to me the pastor now said ah that's how he does everywhere he goes huh so the pastor knew that that is how he does everywhere he goes why did you give him to your church member it's not everybody that should go on a journey with you you know the truth of the matter is that nobody knows the heart of anybody it's only god the hearts of men can be desperately wicked desperately wicked how many people have heard the story of ephoniah have you watched it the rest of you you are aware where you are in the spirit hh a girl that her father returned back to nigeria after working 20some years abroad and he felt i'm going to retire in the village whilst he's there he's living with his sister and i think her husband and the the daughter was sending money home her father's pension sending from america thinking all was well until the holy spirit told her she should go home that there's something wrong she should go home guess what happened her father had been locked up sick in a house by his own sister not a stranger by his own sister thank god the god listened to the holy spirit anyway you know trust social media by the time everything went it was even the american embassy that packed all of them the man and his daughter they have returned back to america it says abraham took lot with him it's not everybody that should go on this journey with you some of us are very careless he's my friend he's my friend remy stay there you know me i used to like watching nigerian movies me i'm patriotic that's why i'm patriotic so one of those nigerian euroba movies that i watched i have to tell you what happened so two friends went to see one man they said "this man will give them prosperity." so the man now said "okay you want to be rich?" they said the two of them said "yes." so the man did one concussion room the man now said "from what i can see it is brother a that is going to be rich but you brother b stay with him by staying with him you will also become rich." he said "do you understand?" the two of them said "i understand." so they left the baba so of course the man a was working b was with him oh everything was okay he was prospering the thing ah the two of them they were just blossoming everything was going well and then suddenly brother a now observed that the business that was booming was not booming anymore what is wrong baba said we will prosper together i will prosper stay with me anyway they carry themselves to go and meet the baba again to say baba what is wrong there's something wrong things are not going well again the bababa now looked at brother b and said what you are doing now he said e why should he be the one that will prosper and me i will be following him so he was actually the one that was behind the what the downfall of the man that they told that if he stays with him he will pro now both of them are what they are poor end of story that's the end of the film now the two of them because there are people like that i will not have it you will not have it there are wicked souls like that that's why it's not everybody forget it don't say he's my brother he's your sister he's your mother he's your father forget i don't believe anybody you should ask first god should this person be on this journey you are from that story the bible tells us that what that abraham was 75 years old when god asked him to go i want to plead with you today that you will not allow age to deter you from obeying what god has told you do not allow age to deter you to dissuade you to convince you otherwise from obeying what god has instructed you i believe that the bible put the year 75 there for you to know that age is not a factor at all and i decided to go in the scriptures to see people who did great things the latter years of their life isaac was 60 years old when his wife gave birth to esau and jacob moses was 80 years old when god called him and he stood before pharaoh caleb was 85 years old when he said "give me this mountain." i want you to write this down because this word really ministered to me and i'm going to be very slow i'll read it for you some people are you writing write on your phone write you must write or if you don't write i will not continue must write some people blossom at the early stage of their lives some people blossom at the early stage of their lives others are very slow at the early stage of their lives but then they begin to blossom at the latter years i say that to say this that it is not all of us that will blossom together some people will blossom at the early stage of their lives you just see them going they're flying they're flying and you're looking at yourself and you're wondering but god why what about me then he now said this some people are very slow the early stage of their lives is like nothing is even happening it is on the the latter stage that they will blossom that's the way life is that's the way god has put the the universe i found some interesting people in online do you know that kfc restaurant the man who opened the first kfc was 65 years old how many people have eaten kfc here today you didn't eat it today but you have eaten it before don't worry the person that sitting next to you tell them you will buy it for me today command the person and if nobody is sitting next to you receive by faith the man was 65 years old when he had the first restaurant ronald reagan became president at the age of 69 he even attempted to be an actor it did not work but he became president of america the 40th president at 69 biden 78 donald trump 78 president bhari 72 please please you people want to scatter this place with official age and unofficial age how am i supposed to know [Music] do you know that the man who invented the thesaurus how many people know the thesaurus that we all use for reference he put that book the thesaurus together at 73 there is a man called faji singh at 89 he won the first marathon in the year 2000 89 he ran a marathon i wish i could show you his picture 89 some of you if i say "let's run now." at 89 i believe that god put the age of abraham to tell you that relocation has no age because of all the things that god has planned and purposed for you forget that age god is not deterred by the age god is not discouraged by the age god is not even is which age what age are you talking about as far as god is concerned the things are planned and prepared for you i just want you to locate them so we're going to ask oursel the question to abraham he said "get out of your country your family and your father's house." to you it could be your geographical location it could be your current choice of career it could be your current choice of business it could be your current relationship there could be somewhere that god is saying "i want you to get out of." and we're going to ask the question why is it difficult to get out where's the mic why do you think it's difficult for people to leave their current state or position since the man says it's father's day now they'll say nobody celebrates them so they will answer the questions yes it's celebration so let's go like this then go like that the fear of having to start all over again the fear of having to start all over again comfort comfort fantastic put your hands together for this man my lettered colleague give it to them is the fear of the unknown the fear of the unknown fantastic the fear of being uprooted from where you are abraham has prayed for sodom and gomorrah that god will find 10 righteous people and then by the time you get to chapter 19 you see the two angels got to that place and they were about to deliver lot out of the place so let's read genesis 19:15 very quickly it says "when the morning dawn the angels urged lot to hurry up." it says "arise take your wife your two daughters who are here lest you be consumed in the punishment of the city." it says "and while he lingered the men took hold of his hand his wife's hand and the hands of his two daughters the lord being merciful to him and they brought him out and set him outside the city." continue he says "so it came to pass when they had brought them outside that he said "escape for your life do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plane escape to the mountains lest you be destroyed." let's stop there there two there's a particular word that i saw in that particular story is the word linger the word linger means to hesitate to not want to move to want to take time in moving and i'm wondering lord why weren't you willing to move those reasons that were given to us by these men they're part of it afraid comfort what i want you to know that by the time lot was in sodom he was a rich man the bible says in genesis 13 there was strife between him his um herdsmen and abraham's herdsmen by the time abraham was rescuing him the bible says abraham rescued lot and his goods sometimes leaving things behind packing up and going so i want to imagine who shall i use now let me use sister dola now mr loi now says honey um the lord has said we are going to iraq [Applause] knowing sister she will not say anything she'll just say "okay i'm coming pastor pastor." [Laughter] she will just say "no pastor will talk to you." no there's even no need to talk anymore god will pastor will talk to him now because it's not easy to move out of fear out of comfort out of what you are used to but let me tell you if god is asking you to move there's something waiting for you there that's what most of us don't understand that if god is asking us to move is because there's something that he has laid in stock something he has stocked up something he has prepared something he has put together there's something there even being inquisitive she said "let me even go and see what is there." of course you know the story of lot i'm not going to go with it the bible says that he lingered his wife did not even just linger the bible says she turned back and what happened the bible says she became a pillar what was she looking back at the comfort the things they have acquired the house the jewelry not even a woman the jewelry the shoe the bag everything but in the end the bible says she became a pillar of salt and the scriptures in the new testament tells us remember lot's wife somebody whom god had said go out get out but in the end she didn't make it going to the next thing that i observed in this story god said to abraham "get out of your country your family your household." he says "to a land that i will show you." and abraham left a place called heron and he arrived at a place called sheckchim now those two places are very important the word haron means mountaneous mountains but the word shecken means what it means a place of your portion your part your portion and i asked god what is interesting about these two places he said sometimes people are inherent and you'll be praying the scriptures in zechariah 4:7 you will stand before god and say who are you oh great mountain before zerubbabel you shall become plain so i want you to imagine you are sister bola so there is a big mountain and you are pray oh lord this mountain shall become plain this mountain shall become plain then god said no it will not become plain just leave the place the places that you are struggling in and you are praying that that mountain will be made low god can actually be telling you leave that place but no because you know how to pray you know how to pray more than jesus you will pray you will fast you will pray you will fast you will pray your neck will blend everything will blend but you find out that zechariah 4:7 is not applicable in all circumstances god said to abraham he says "leave haron that mountainous place leave that place of mountain i want you to take you to sheckchham." sheckchum means your place your part your portion god says that place that you are struggling in that you are praying the mountains will be playing said "no this man is not going to be playing i have found a place that is your portion i have found a place that is your part the place of struggle leave that place because there's a better place." so when god is saying relocate is because he knows there's something better there's a place where your portion has been reserved for you and if you look through the scriptures the portion that god reserved for him genesis 12:7 genesis 12:7 it says "then the lord appeared to abraham and said to your descendants i will give this land and there he built an altar to the lord who appeared to him." give me genesis 13 very quickly 14-1 17 it says "and the lord said to abraham after the lord has separated from him lift your eyes now look from the place where you are northward southward eastward westward continue for all the land which you see i will give to you and to your descendants forever now i want you to imagine that abraham refused to leave haron how can he get his portion how can he get to the place that god has reserved for him by refusing not to go by refusing not to move then that means the things that god has prepared for you they will just stay in the storage say "god forbid." everything that god promised to abraham was what god eventually did to his descendants now i want to quickly go to the journey of the children of israel and i want to say something here in deuteronomy chapter 2 i'm not going to read everything write it down in deuteronomy chapter 2 verse 1-5 as they were going on the journey the bible says they came to a place called mount sea and the bible says that god said i forbid you to do what to take this mount sea it says this mount sea i have reserved for esau as a possession that deutronomy chapter 2 is very interesting when you read further on you get to verse 9 the bible says that they got to moab god says "do not go near moab i have reserved it for what for the descendants of lot." then you go further to deuteronomy 2:18-19 then they got to the people of ammon god said "don't go there because i have reserved it for the descendants of lot." and i'm like "ah but god why are you not allowing them?" you said northward eastward no he said the secret is what is your portion the secret is what is your portion what has god prepared for you what has god kept for you he said to the children of israel you cannot go to moab you cannot take the land of the ammonites you cannot take mansia i have given it to someone else now that's the problem most of us have we don't want what god has given to us is what somebody else has that we want and that's where most of the trouble lands us in when you start wanting the portion that god has not reserved for you remember that king is it adonijah what was his name adonijah that wanted to be king what did he say he said what it was for me to be king but what it was solomon's from the lord so why don't you take what is from the lord for yourself i want you to know that god wants to take you from haron to your own sheer that is your part that is your portion the one that god has laid in store for you in 2025 not somebody else's own the one that god has reserved for you that is where god wants to take us to let me look at another quick example in the book of acts chapter 16 we have a new testament example in acts chapter 16 we're looking at uh apostle paul it says "now when they had gone through farah and the region of galatia they were forbidden by who by the holy spirit to preach the word in asia." verse seven and after they had come to maisha they tried to go to bethnia but the spirit did not permit them stop there i thought you are supposed to go and preach the gospel everywhere in the world so why is the holy spirit not allowing them to go to these places because it's not what it's not their portion that's not the place god has reserved for them go to the next line so passing by misha they came down to tras continue and a vision appeared to paul in the night a man of macedonia stood and pleaded with him saying "come over to macedonia to help us and says,"now after he had seen the vision immediately we sought to go to macedonia concluding that the lord had called us to preach the gospel to them." let me tell you something some of the doors that are closing to you it is because that is not your door can write it down some of the doors that are closing to you it is because that is not your door what you need to do is to pray and to ask god god show me my door the door was locked and closed for paul they wanted to go here the holy spirit
