so let me guess you've tried void crew with a couple of friends and found it fun for a while until you all agree that the difficulty curve looks something like this well I'm here to tell that in actuality it would look something more like this I mean it's a drawing but you get the point feeling of difficulty quickly disappears when you realize how to Pilot the plane what enemies the target who to avoid what missions to prioritize and some other tips and tricks I think you should know now before I get into the meat and potatoes of this video I need to tell you the name of the chef and his name is saganaki and you can find him on the official void group Discord I used his guide called saganaki Flying and the solo Destroyer guide to go for my best run being 17 missions completed and then dying to 46 missions completed with well over half my ship HP remaining and having to stop myself because the game couldn't although it is a guide made specifically for solo runs a lot of the information is useful for either a full or partial crew as well another note needs to be made here given that void crew is a ro lag you will meet difficulties based on how far along the skill tree you are if you're level one and have just started will probably meet issues that will be harder to manage than say someone at level 25 or at max level at level 30 at the earliest levels maybe around 15 are the most important for the genant tree everything after a certain point is just a luxury I will leave Sak's guide in the description and I do highly recommend anyone trying to get better and have more fun in this game to give it a read and to not make this video too long I'll be focusing on what I think are the most important topics to find success in W group and in descending order we have side missions Mission priority the upgrading priority of the ship play Gene tree the ship's layout and lastly turet mods and Relics to start off we got side missions and these are usually small side objectives on the same map that basically grants you free loot we have containers in and asteroid bases space stations containers are usually unscanned objects with a white outline with no Eva required while the other three show up as a dedicated symbol there's not really much to say here just free loot do these and now we're on to the good stuff the mission priority we got desecration Salvage infestation cleanse protect Ambush strike download and raid and the reasoning behind this list is that the higher up the list you go the fewer enemies you are most likely to encounter although desecration arguably has more enemies than Salvage given that Salvage can let you complete the mission without fighting a single enemy the secretion is a really quick and easy Mission whereas Salvage takes a bit longer desecration also give you a choice between guaranteed 15 Nano Alloys and a relic you'll use for the rest of the Run either way these are the two best missions to pick from hands down the reason infestation is this high up list is that you can lower the health of each void conduit without fully killing it to delay enemies spawning in for as long as possible and this makes the objective very easy to achieve without being swarmed with incoming enemies beware that the reclaimer countdown will start as soon as you attack the first conduit even if you don't kill it cleanse is easy given that you have enough Firepower to kill the assembler cores before they call for support and this is usually at least a mark 2 brain turret preferably two or even more protect is pretty easy like cleanse if you have enough Firepower and thirst ad duration that should be about one to two Mark two brain turrets to accomplish the objective as easily as possible you should know what targets to prioritize the list goes like this we have bomber Elites sniper Elites bombers destroyers snipers and then figh their swarms the bomber Elites and sniper Elites can wipe out one of the ships you're protecting in one shot so if you are not aware about the enemy spawns you might find the friendly ships be gone before you even know it Ambush is a hardto place Mission because it contains Loot on the inside of the space station you need to activate the mission on the other hand you need to fight two waves of either a freighter or an Interceptor Squad and then you need to fight a massive Remnant ship whose laser turrets might take a big bite of your ship if you're not careful enough strike is pretty difficult without the necessary Firepower the ship will take a long time to kill giving it time to fire really hard Dodge projectiles and it's surrounded by proximity mines and they are deadly not to mention that the remnant interceptors in the area are way more agile and therefore harder to kill now for the last two ons raid and download they're pretty similar in the fact that you have to stay outside the ship for a long time during the mission and these are only doable early game if you have a party to play with and download is a really annoying Mission because it's the mission where I usually have a dangerously near en cter with the reclaimer the mission requires you to leave the ship for a dangerous amount of time given that the Satellite Dish starts at 40% efficiency and gets 20 percentage points for each fix if the dish is somehow broken again you do run the risk of the mission taking too long and having the reclaimer come and blow you up not a good time there is a bit of loot in it for you if you decide to do the mission d raid is a quirky one it definitely has the most loot out of all the missions how however you do run a big risk in running this Mission due to the fact that during the alarm the Holo Cruiser will show up if you do not get out of there in due time or lack the ability to kill the cruiser without taking any damage the cruiser will kill you easily I do have a fun little trick that can spice up this Mission but I don't have time to talk about it in this video please do leave a comment if you do want me to make a short video on it after following this guide you will hopefully find yourself having more Alloys earlier than you're used to and you will need to know what to spend these allo Zone as to not waste these precious metals and the upgrade priority Falls like this we have the fabricator Mark 2 which cost 25 Alloys we have the mark 2 Guns we have Mark III fabricator which cost an additional 75 Alloys we have Mark three guns then you have mods for the turrets upgrade the Scoops to Mark II maybe add an additional auto mechanic for quality of life upgrade the generators to Mark 3i and add a Mark 3 point defense for the frost biome alternatively you can invest in a point defense early on for either the flatron boss or the frost mother boss I like to do this because I'm not the skilled enough pilot to reliably avoid the projector attack yet and if you meet power limitations too early with no luck on a power Relic you might want to invest in the mark 2 power generator with the option to use a system upgrader to upgrade it later to Mark iiii I also like to use power Optimizer mods when I get to level two fabricator and this is because I never like my Mark III Auto turrets to consume more than three power without a power Optimizer mod with the mod they consume only one power at Mark II and there's no reason to wait for Mark 3i power optimizers because they reduce the power needed by three but no mod can consume zero power whilst powered on so it's a waste of time really now we're on to the gene tree and we start with level Zer to level 10 here you should prioritize the pilot tree but do grab the scavenger class ability for EAS Eva movement and quick void jumps and make sure to pick up the Sanctified whole repair plate from the engineer tree at level 15 you should spec a little bit into engineering to get the ability lasting enhancements it's very nice to have when dealing with bosses or if you just want to have constant thrist recharge with the auto mechanic on the way to level 30 you should probably prioritize the engineer tree so that you can get the skills stronger enhancements and enhancement rejiggering after those i' finish the pilot tree and the scavenger tree and now we're on to the ship layout and we start with the early game and for this you should use the extra animus crate you get with the solo ship at the start of the run to get another gravity scoop and this is important because you don't need to go down to the Scoops to enter them as often as without the second and during the middle game you've probably met some power issues which makes a power generator very very useful I also think you don't need more than four guns to do well on long runs as previously mentioned with Mark two power Optimizer on every turret they only consume one power even on Mark III and with two sco loops and four guns that's eight power that's the exact amount of power the destroyer ship starts with if you have an extra Mark 2 animous crate or two laying around they're useful for kinetic Point defenses and or power generators and for the late game at this point you have beat maybe two bosses meaning you have at the very least two Mark II brain turrets I got to my run of 46 missions with only four guns with Mark three scoops Mark I kinetic Point defenses One auto mechanic and two Mark II power generators in the back with the sacred power conduit which gives you six additional power I had a total of 22 power this allowed me to ditch the power optimizers and get another mod on the auto turrets this leaves space for an extra model you can mess around with and for me it's usually a life support to give me an easier time with bosses and or another auto mechanic for help with the engine trims and now we're on to the last chapter turret mods and Relics now that your turrets are all Mark III it's time to supercharge them and since your fabricator is also Mark II you have access to all Mark II mods except for the legendary ones there's an amazing lookup table that exists made by Normandy called weapon stats mechanics which includes all T modules outfitted with all types of modifications and combinations of said mods it also includes a list of all relics in the game and I do recommend reading up on it if you find modifications and tinkering with stats fun I will leave a link for the guide in the description there's basically one short answer to the optimal setup which is that you should prioritize fire rate damage and the mod Relentless assault and if you don't have Relentless assault I like to substitute it with accuracy to make sure my shots hit at range invest in energy overload if you mainly use Confessor weapons and make sure to get one biomass Catalyst now I can go in depth on this and if you guys want to I will but I will keep it short for this one video please do leave a comment if you want me to go further in depth on these choices and there you have it this was my first guide video ever and my first ever video on void crew and I must end the video by saying that I do love this game and I would love to keep making content on it the community is aesome and filled with amazing people and the devs are actively participating in Reddit threads the Chats on the Discord and I really appreciate the product that delivered to us Gamers thank you so much for watching and I'll see you next time
