all right YouTube it's your boy conis to barber in this video we are going to be talking about some blades I definitely feel like it's very important for y'all to understand what blades you are using why you're using them what is the difference between the steel Blade the cutting blades all of that stuff right so I wanted to do a deep dive into that because I honestly feel like it's very very important that we understand at least what these blades are doing so when something does come out we know exactly if that thing is going to perform the way I need it because of the textures that I have in my shop or it's something that's like you know what M I don't know if this is the best option for me or you can like the machine and you just switch out the blades but what to switch that blade out to this is that video you want to find out the information so let's get into it CTB you know who it is all right y'all so these are the blades we're going to be talking about I'm going to talk about all the steel blades first and then I'll be talking about the cutting blades and why these blades matter or why the knowledge of these blades matter so I'm going to break it down right now you have the stylecraft paper blade you have the jrl fade blade you have the Min blue blade from the Low Pro fx1s you have the F1 digital Gap blade you have the wall fade blade and you have the Andis Master blade and also we have a special guest from the OG Clipper right here you not JL just came out with this is the jrl standard taper blade I'm going to talk about the differences of these blades and what they can do okay so stay tuned all right y'all so the first thing I'm going to talk about is the fade blade what is the fade blade how can you identify what the fade blade looks like now there are some companies that have switched up some things they they they kind of mix some together but a standard fade blade I'll show you guys is this wall one right here this is a standard fade blade this is how it looks most likely you'll see no ridges it's just a nice flat curve right slant right here that you will see com a fade with a fade blade most of the times it's very very pointy but the only pointy one and I'll show you guys what that one is is the surgical blade by Andis that thing is dangerous if you do not how to use it I would suggest that you learn from a master of using that blade but other than that the the fade blade is literally the next thing closest to the surgical blade surgical blade is a little bit more thinner and has a little bit more longer teeth but this thing is the fade blade so don't get it confused with anything else this is the fade blade I'll show you also another fade blade and this is jro's version of their fade blade even though these don't look exactly the same the same slant this is has more grooves it seems like it will help better with it with the hair but basic basically the same basically same thickness it has the same flow of everything so the main difference of the fade blade and taper blade and this is being a fade blade this being a taper blade is how it's tapered off and it's rounded right here compared to this just being a slant so this gives you more room to work with with your fading process this does not this act this is real clean cut nice clean blend nothing wrong with that but this right here it just gives you a little bit more room if needed so I think beginning Barbers can start out with blades like this or or what's coming out more more now is that you will see that it's called a like a faper blade it's a taper blade and a fade blade mashed together and you will see that with the stylecraft vapor blade this is the twoin one socalled of the ones I just showed you but if you guys look at this one in this it kind of looks the same but this is thicker than the fade blade that's why this is called a fapor blade it's a little bit more thicker has that little hump right there so that's why you're going to start seeing these more because it's like the best of both worlds the Min blade from beist I also believe is within the same flow of the faper blade I think it took the same concept and if you can see it's actually just a little bit more thicker than the faper blade so this blade it gives you a good amount of room to do some uh some nice blending but also is poy at the end as well so this is actually a nice blade they did this for design purpose right here you know it doesn't do anything different but it is a nice little you know aesthetic look to it I definitely like that now let's get to this digital Gap Blade the digital Gap blade and we're going to talk about it I didn't talk about this blade that's right here that's the and this that's the uh fast feed blade but this digital Gap blade right here the F1 blade is supposed to be I'll show you these two together we'll talk about that but this one I'm honestly going to call this I'm going call this a fade Blade with just an extra little hump right there but yeah I'm calling this I'm calling this a fade blade so let's see the thickness compared to the Min blade it's almost similar but it's most likely similar to the papor blade when it comes to the thickness just a little bit but it is like a two onone type of Blade this is not like a standard blade that you'll see across the board but I did want to bring it into the mix because it's supposed to be the mixture of these two right here but we're going to see if that's really true or not but for me this is its own thing it's not a taper blade it's to me it's like a faper blade it's just has its own unique look to it and then you have the end this master blade now this blade does not get called so for some reason you know when you look at it it won't say it's a fade blade or a taper blade or whatever I honestly think that it's its own unique thing this is what I think that the F1 was trying to mimic with this little smoothness right here then a slant uh the Andis blade does have a little smoothness right here than a slant as you guys see the and this blade is a little bit more thicker so I will look I would look at this more as a taper blade than a fade blade right but however you want to look at is really really fine but just the thickness of it alone how much room it gives you an allow this thing definitely is a beautiful blade I'm going to talk about like you know with this steel blade and also the cutting blade and why certain textures these blades are great for so once I get to the cutting blades we'll talk about that more but this blade is nice now I'm not going to take this blade off but we're going to just look look at it but the roundness the taper blade you can't go wrong with this type of Blade honestly this is what most beginning Barbers going to start out with so you have a lot of room it teaches you how to fave it gives you that motion of a c it gives you that motion of a SE without you know putting in harsh lines so I see a lot lot of people really using this when they first start out but there's nothing wrong with any of these you can start out with any of these you know it just you have to figure out you know what kind of Barber you really are are you heavy-handed are you light-handed are you going to fade down Fade up fade your foundation really is really going to matter so let's get into the fast feed blade now this is one of my favorite blades right here now for me this is something also that this F1 blade kind of looks like but you guys can definitely see that there are some differences in it but if there's any blade it really try to look like it is the fast feed blade but when it comes to the teeth you can definitely tell the difference in the teeth I believe this is a 22 this might be a 27 teeth I'm not sure but I will talk about that in a second too so 27 teeth means it's just smaller thinner sections of teeth now this might be a 22 and you see the gaps are big a little bit bigger than the the 27 I believe this is a 27 it's 22 but you could just tell by how small and thin the teeth are that this cuts through nice small areas coarse hair I would say is like the best that this blade is good for same as this blade right here with Andis these two go like hand in hand on a type of hair they can cut well they can cut every texture well but I think they are at its best when they are cutting coarse hair just because of the fact how small the teeth are and they're going to actually clean that they like the coarse hair like the curls up they're going to lay it down you know they're going to clean it up really well so this is why these two honestly are like one of the best blades out but also they have cutting blades to back up with they what these steel blades are you know offered to do so let's talk about cutting blades we're going to talk about cutting blades now all these cutting blades that you see right here the cutting blades is the blades that move when you turn the Clipper on these are the blades that move left and right real real fast right so most of y'all probably already knew that but I really just wanted to let youall know there is a difference between still blade they stay still these are the moving blade or the cutting blade so this is what I want y'all to understand the cutting blade is so vital because how the cut cutting blade is made matters to the type of battery matters to the type of motor and hair texture that you have and I'm going to tell you to my preference and to my liking what I think these cutting blades do grade in the most so I'm going to start with the most overall best cutting blade that you probably can find on the market however it seems that you can put this on other stuff but you probably have to modify it as well but the magic clip stagger too cutting blade this thing is Pat nobody else has this cutting blade like this but to me this is the most forgiving cleanest cutting blade that you're going to find on the market if you see the Stagger tooth some are long some are short definitely gives out nice beautiful Blends I don't know if you guys have ever experienced it or not but that to me is the most allaround blade that you will ever find I'm not saying that others don't do great at fading as well but this fading debulking I will say it's not the best at debulking but when it comes to fading detailing this blade right here is one of the best all right so that's what I think of that next what I also believe is one of the best all around the best all around is this jrl cutting blade now there are some just like it so you can put them all in in the group together if you would like but this jrl cutting blade is amazing this is not metal I believe this is uh ceramic I could be wrong but this blade is a nice one as you guys see small teeth but it cuts well due to the fact of the material so material matters I really want you to understand the material the cutting blade matters because this one's nice and metal Cuts well this one's ceramic it cuts well but it keeps the blade cooler more than this one does due to the fact that it is ceramic so I I want you to understand that ceramic when you see blades like this and people are talking about this it's one's jacked up but this is going to keep your Clipper cooler and also it will be able to move back and forth faster so that also changes the efficiency of the cut and how quick you can probably cut but me per se I actually like the metal ones better than the ceramic that's just me I'm OG like that but another one is the fer cutting blade this one and the jrro somewhat different almost the same this one's a little bit more deep too definitely like this one it's definitely nice you guys have to try this cutting blade as well but to me the best one so far is still this one the Mim cutting blade is dope too I like the fact that you know they put the babess pro at the bottom of it and it kind of is more similar to the jrl one I don't know if this one's ceramic it doesn't it could be so don't take my word for that but it could be ceramic as well but it could be I mean it feels a little bit different so it could be stainless still but this is a good blade as well now now I'm going to talk about this one I'm leaving these two for last for a reason I'm going to talk about this F1 blade it did not come with this blade right this blade came with this Clipper the hyper Vass uh Clipper so this cutting blade I absolutely appreciate I like deep Tu cutting blades you really can't go wrong with them you know so they did a good job giving us this blade right here good job nothing it's a standard cutting blade but this wasn't what the original F1 digital Gap blade came with now I believe they're going to start coming out with this blade more but here is the blade I'm going to show you guys that if you have this blade this blade is only good for one thing and one thing only and that is a certain type of motor which is a magnetic motor if it has about 9,000 spms or more this small little blade right here is it's honestly is very fragile I really don't like it at all as you guys see it has no it has no thickness to it it's it's just a real thin to me cheaply made type of Blade that people put on their Clippers at times but to me this blade only works to me performs very well with a magnetic motor these two came together but I think they're switching it out to this one so if they are that's great if they have not and you have the small one like this contact them and see if they'll switch it out I have to do the same as well all right so let let me get to these other cutting blades we're going to talk about now the ones I mentioned all of these up here all of these from here to here are the most standard cutting blades most stand the cutting blades if you like wall you will notice that the magic clips the black ones the gold ones they're all going to come with this stagger tooth cutting blade that's like one of their best things about them their blades also as well I have no problem with them as well they cut very very well now when it comes to these two the Andis the Andis and the fast feet blade right we did talk about these now these blades just a little bit thicker you know steel metal stainless steel really really nice right I like metal Clippers I mean I like metal blades some say that it can get hot faster but it all depends on how you cut at the same time now the main reason why I like these blades because these perform the best when you have these cutting blades on them there is not one cutting blade other than you know somebody trying to mimic it through the ceramic and I think Andis has one like this as well I could be wrong but I believe so but this cutting blade let me tell you something if this can't cut nothing then we are doomed this cutting blade is heavy duty this is the best cutting blade for coarse hair waivers um curly hair to me this blade gets the job done it kind of reminds me of a a detachable all detachable blades kind of look like this blades because they're precise in their cutting and if you guys understand that these shark like Teeth of of a blade with this 27 teeth blade it does some wonders the blend is amazing like you can't you really can't go wrong with that that's why the fast feeds is still one of my favorite Clippers even at the speed that the fast feeds go some people call them slow speeds but these things will still cut amazing they will cut amazing it doesn't have to be that fast and honestly with a cutting blade like this you don't need it to go that fast this thing is still I had this thing for years and it is still nice and sharp so you can scratch somebody up with those things Andis basically the same thing just a little bit more different a little bit more smaller but the same effect that these have you guys can see the difference right there in length it's a little bit more shorter but the teeth on these are very very sharp so that's why they give out precise Fades as well so I want y'all to understand that yeah the downside to using these two that the blades may can get hot if need be my blade my fast feeds never got hot due to the speed of the of the fast feeds but the end is they can get a little bit warm my jro is like the one that doesn't get warm at all the magic clips can get a little bit warm I have not witnessed these getting warm yet the M can get a little bit warm and same as the vapor but how these cut if you perfect these two it will actually take down your time of how long you take cutting and I promise you you can get some clean cuts with these two so I wanted to tell you guys these are the main cutting blades that you'll probably see in the industry this one I honestly think everybody should stay away from even the brands like I don't think that's a good blade to put on Clippers if you guys are really customized like customized stuff if you like a ceramic blade like I said if you could put this on a few of them this actually goes with the fast feeds as you guys see how this shape this will cool this down and it will cut it will move faster than the original blade so it seems since this is a lighter material the ceramic so that's my real indepth video on the steel blades that you guys will see and also the uh the cutting blades and knowing the difference of them so I hope you guys like this video if you have any questions please let me know leave it in the comments let me know which one you are rocking with the most and which ones that you dislike the most so this this is your boy concise I appreciate y'all please make sure you guys follow please make sure you guys follow 10K is almost right right the corner we about to do that 10K
