  3. Madd Al-Silah Al-Sughra: Occurs when pronoun followed by matching vowel.

Madd Faree (Secondary Prolongation)

  • Definition: Not natural; occurs due to hamza or sukoon.
  • Causes:
    • Incorporeal: Related to meaning.
    • Lexical: A letter causes extension.
  • Rules:
    • Compulsory: Madd Al-Muttasil.
