internship program so finally the day has come you have been waiting for this day for a a long time but now we will be discussing everything in detail and I hope you all will enjoy today's internship orientation session and you will learn a lot of new Information Gain new insight about the internship program and have and learn a lot more new Concepts in the upcoming intern in in the internship so moving forward let's discuss about the agenda what we will be discussing about the or in this orientation program so first we will be discussing about IBM skills build program about the platform that we have we will be also discussing everything in detail about frontend web development internship program that you have all chosen then we will also be discussing about the walk through about the platform everything we will be discussing in this orientation program so without any daily let's get started so many of you have already been registered to the platform before either because a speaker of one of our team member has visited your college you have attended a session you have been registered or maybe you have also participated in our previous internship program but for all those students who are new here who have never been a part of the internship program who have never attended a session before please please please please listen carefully everything in detail please write is it so let us discuss about this as you all know about IBM I hope all all of you know about IBM anyone who wants to tell me in the chat box what do you know about IBM what is IBM anything that you know about IBM I'm waiting for the answers Okay so tager has written international business machine international business machine tah okay anyone else anything else you know about IBM it's an MNC very good IBM is known for its for its Hardware software and service offerings very good it company okay I have received so many answers and all the answers are correct one of the words largest company very good so you all know about IBM IBM's full form is international business machine so what is IBM skills bill now you know about IBM but what about IBM skills build so all these big multi-tech giant companies they have to uh fulfill one CSR in objective which is uh all the organ all these companies have to uh uh maybe they have to uh as a CSR initiative they have to work on anything which is completely free of cost work for the any cause maybe for the health for education for the livelihood so what IBM has done IBM has built a online uh digital learning platform where you will be able to learn many Technical and non-technical courses which is also completely free of cost Yes you heard it right it is completely free of cost so uh I has digital learning platform which gives you access to more than 85,000 courses all these courses are aligned with nsdm and digital India Mission once you complete any course from the online uh digital learning platform you will get a certificate of IBM which is globally recognized and you also get digital batches we will be discussing about batches in detail in the later slide as well so you will be getting digital batches after completing any course from the uh from the IBM skills build platform as I've already informed you it's a CSR initiative that means uh the corporate responsibility social responsibility of IBM skills build program here everything all the courses will be free of cost it's not that few courses are free of cost or to get a certificate you have to pay no everything will be free of cost you will also be able to explore new career that means even if you are from non-technical background and you want to learn some of the trending courses that are there in uh in the current days that is data analytics maybe about artificial intelligence or digital marketing you can learn all these kinds of courses at free of cost so this is how the platform is you will get a lot of opportunity to explore to build your career to get even after doing so many courses from the skills build platform you will get lot of placement opportunities after doing these courses now moving on to the next slide let's discuss about the components the uh of the uh skill spill platform so basically we have divided the courses into three categories one is domain specific skills second is professional skills and third is job Readiness skills I hope you all understand and by its meaning what all categories we have but let me go in detail domain specific skills basically mean all the skill skills that is there related to your subject so all those students who are in technical background they are learning something even a non-technical background and they're doing any courses from their college they can get the uh these kinds of skills related to the courses that they are currently pursuing next we have professional skills professional skills means those skills that help you to grow in your professional career for example you want to uh maybe build your communication skills or work on your uh decision making skills you want to be a good team leader so these kinds of skills that help you to grow in your professional career they are available at free of cost on IBM skills Feld platform the third category that is a very important category because these two categories will not work if you don't know about how to get a secure job so how to for that what skills do you need you need the skills to make a maybe a powerful CV or you need the skills to make how to prepare for the interview or how to make a cover letter so these kind of skills will help you to get a secure job in the future okay next so now till now we have discussed about the platform you all know about little bit about the platform skills build but why am I telling you this and what what how will it help you and what is the role of the platform in the internship program we will be discussing everything in detail I hope everything is clear till now if you have any questions till now you can ask me in the chat box okay okay so just a minute yeah so now you have all chosen we had three internship options given to you first was data analytics second was front-end web development and third was artificial intelligence and you all have chosen frontend web development now all those that is why you are attending the orientation program now what we will be including in all this we will be discussing everything in detail and all those students who have lots of queries related to uh how we will go forward and how what are all the components what how we will be submitting the projects everything will be covered so please be patient attend this orientation completely and please note down everything if you need so what we will be covering we will you will be getting the opportunity to learn coding frontend web development and very important tool which is web designing how you will be uh learning all these things there will be two things first you will be getting a self-based learning course we will be discussing this in the later slide as well so you will be getting a self-based learning course where you will be studying all these Concepts you will be getting a a Clarity of these Concepts and then you will also get the opportunity to attend the master class what is this master class these master class will be hosted by our IBM experts they will be experienced IBM experts who will be giving you master class giving you uh Clarity on these topics so that you can make a project later on what is this project this project you have to make after you attend the master classes after you are clear with all the concept you will be starting to work on the project that you have to submit at the end of The Internship once you submit the project our IBM experts will short list you and you will get a opportunity to present it in the pitch night this is the overview of the whole web development internship program but uh Don't Panic if you still don't understand it we will go and uh we will go to each step and clarify everything okay let me see first if you have any questions still here okay so Dia is asking to all the team members have to uh submit different projects no Dia you have to submit your projects in a team so not all individuals have to submit we will come this uh we will discuss this in detail also but for now uh these projects will be submitted by you in group okay now let's see the flow and benefits of the internship program as you can see the line here this is the whole uh flow of the internship program currently where we are we are at this point orientation of the program so now we are uh you are all attending the orientation of the program next is the self-based learning program uh course that we will be providing you uh day after tomorrow once you are registered on the platform you will be getting a self-based learning course where you have different kinds of courses and you have to complete these courses The Next Step will be the master classes so you will be doing the self-based learning course along with it you will also be attending the Master Class by the subject experts you after attending the master classes you will get the opportunity of mentoring sessions these mentoring session is such a great opportunity for all of you I will I will highly recommend that you all attend this mentoring session because it will be given by the IBM employees can you imagine IBM employees giving you mentoring opportunity and giving you the opportunity to clear all your doubts related to the subject related to the uh project that you will be making or any of the concept that you are not clear of these will be given to you by the IBM employees this we have specially curated for you so that you get a hands-on experience and also clarify all your doubts on the spot so we will be dividing you in different small teams where you will get this opportunity and where you will be able to clarify all your doubts on as a on online basis so next will be working on deliver deliverables so once you submit once you uh attend the M master classes and the mentoring sessions you will also get the opportunity to work on your deliverable we will be asking you to submit a project you will start working on that project you can clarify your doubts also with your mentors if you get any doubt and then you will submit the project and then after submitting your project we will be hosting a pitch night with all the selected students who will get the opportunity to showcase their talent to uh in front of the IBM expert judge so this is all the flow about of the internship program if you have any doubt with this you can ask uh someone is asking in solanki can we do both internship I would recommend you if you can if you only do one internship at a time because this internship will need lot of your time lot of your energy you have to make a project you have to be in the group so it's better that you focus on one internship at a time and all the internships will give you lot of a learning experience so don't feel that you are missing out on something this internship that you have actually participated in will give you a lot of opportunity to learn and grow so we have also divided all the uh the internship into three stages here you can see in the first stage you will be given a self-based learning activities what you have to do in that you will be sharing a link with you you have to complete all the courses as mentioned in the uh link and after completing this link you have to submit a concept note what is a concept note concept note is basically a small idea a three to four page idea on which you will be making your project so you have to make uh write a concept note about that project we will be discussing the concept note also I'll share you the sample also okay next is stage two we will allocate mentors to you after you submit the concept note only after you submit the concept note you will be going to the stage two part so all those students who submit the concept note who complete the self-based learning activities will be given the opportunity of mentoring so these students will get the mentors they will be guided by our expert IBM expert employees they will also get the portunity to attend the master classes we will be having four master classes that you all should attend on different topics we will be discussing about the topics in detail in the latest slides and then after completing all these steps you will have to submit a final submission final submission of the project you have to do after the end of the all the uh programs so in stage three once you submit the final PP in stage three if you are shortlisted uh you will get the opportunity to present your uh project in the pitch night we will be hosting a pitch night competition for all the students who are shortlisted or all the students who have an amazing uh project they will be shortlisted they will get the opportunity to uh to present their project in Pitch night and also all those students who are shortlisted who get the opportunity to present it on Pitch night from that list there will be some students who will be shortlisted to present as pan India show invent uh invitation we will be giving invitation to attend a uh event and we will be discussing about this also in the later slides all the students will also get the placement assistance so coming to the next slide yeah so let's discuss about the internship program component so there will be self-based learning program all the students will have to complete the self-based learning program uh learning course in two to three weeks and then you will also uh have to attend the master classes there will be four master classes in total I I will tell you all the topics of the master classes you have to go attend all the master classes on frontend web development you have to submit a project that I've just informed you about the concept note and the final project you have to submit then you have to complete the course that we have shared with you the self-based learning course that you have to submit along with the certificate you will also be getting batches and certificate in completing these courses and after you complete all these courses all these steps you will be getting the placement assistance what happens in the placement assistance once you are when you are will be submitted uh submitting the concept note and um we will be also sharing a Google form with you all so once you will be submitting the self-based learning uh course I'm sorry so once you will be submitting the self-based learning code we will be sharing a Google form with you where you have to upload the certificate of the self-based learning course along with that you will also get the opportunity to submit your resume your CV your LinkedIn profile links and also you can share your uh LinkedIn profile links in the Google form this will help you to get your resume and CV reviewed by our industry experts so this is also a very good very great opportunity for all of you who are participating in the internship program you will get the opportunity to to uh get your CV or resumer reviewed by the industry exper isn't it an amazing thing that not only you will be learning in this internship uh uh program but you will also get the opportunity to get your cvor resume that means that you will get lot of great opportunities in the placement once your CV is being RW so I will encourage I will recommend all of you to please please please share your resume or uh CV in your uh Google form once you are submitting your self-paced learning course it will help pitch night do you still Yes students uh certificate will be provided to all of you all the students who complete all the criteria like they complete the self-paced learning course they have completed the batches they have got the uh concept note they have made the project they have attended all the sessions then they will get this certificate ma'am we get the platform access or or is it for life yes the platform access will be given to you for Lifetime it is not only for The Intern ship period it is work from home or office everything will be online you don't have to worry don't have to go anywhere everything will be online okay so all those students who are facing any problem related to that team we will be sharing a Google form with you where you can uh inform us if you want any if you want the team members if we have already shared it before also so if you don't want any team members to be there in your team anymore so you can make these changes yes you will get the certificate only after completing the internship program teams are not divided by us you have only given your registration according to the teams attendance form we have just started with the session and you all are excited about the attendance form we will be sharing the attendance form after the session so don't worry just listen to the session carefully right now we will be sharing the attendance after the session so uh this platform has around 85,000 learning activities which will enhance your skills professionally and make make you job ready also uh these we have different new skills which will help you to grow and if you want to learn new skills you can learn from the platform we will providing you placement assistance you will also be getting certificates and batches if you do any other course of the students were asking about what will happen after the pitch night what will happen where what opportunities will we get so this is the Showcase Event of the last year where the students some of the students who were selected got the opportunity to showcase their uh project in front of uh global global uh what we call Global employees these employees have come from other countries these are all the IBM employees who have seen the uh projects of the students who have been Shi shortlisted after the pitch night so you will get a lot of exposure in this event all those students who are shortlisted in the pitch night will get this opportunity to attend the event to Showcase their talent and also have face Toof face interaction with them okay so this is another event that we Host this is the industry connect where uh you will be able to meet with different industry experts this is the image of last year here you can see that the students got the opportunity to meet the education minister of India so these are all the kinds of opportunities you will be getting once you participate and make a good project and get shortlisted so as uh you can all see that we have around 1,000 plus participants in this Zoom call and we have another more than 2,000 participants who must be join um who are viewing through YouTube so there are so many students who have participated in this internship program so you can see and realize the value of this internship program and at how large scale this internship program is so I would request all of you to please attend the whole orientation program do not leave the orientation in in between and please attend each and every you will get lot of information you will learn a lot from this internship program and this will help you to grow in a lot of different ways you will learn lot of new Concepts there will be lot of networking opportunities so the duration of the internship program is for six weeks and as you know that it has started from last week we have given you some freework and today is your orientation day you will get a lot of internship and full-time job opportunities after completing this or uh this internship program you will get also lot of opportunity to interact and network with the industry experts there will be uh mentoring session where you will get the opportunity to interact there will be pitch night where you will be get the opportunity to interact then there will be events where you will get the opportunity to interact with different uh IBM experts you will also get batches certificates after doing these courses and you will we will also be promoting these sessions on social media so you will get this opportunity as well and there will be of course placement assistance opportunities you will be learning about different concepts of for all those students who are not from the technical background they will be learning about front and web development so just imagine those students who are not from Technical and learning about front and web development making a website so all these exciting opportunities are waiting for you you will be able to connect and compete with the students across the country we have students from South India North India east west from all parts of the country who are all there with you making the projects and competing with you and you will also get the opportunity to showcase for future employees after the pitch night the event that I was talking about if you have any questions still here please let me know yes we will be discussing about concept note as well how to submit attendance form we will be sharing the attendance form very soon after the session any more questions the classes will not be on regular basis we will be having master classes but it will not be every day we will be informed in you everything in detail groups are already made verit you have all registered group wise only please check with your team leader what kind of projects do we we have to make we'll be discussing about that in detail in the later slide please have patience okay so this is the week wise flow of the orientation program all those students who are attending this orientation please please uh be attentive listen to all the points we are discussing the week wise flow so first week was your self exploring pre-work where you got some free work to do you explored a little bit about the frontend web development that was your first week now second week is the week where you are now attending the orientation program this is your second week you are attending the orientation program you also get the opportunity to have to attend question and answer session what is that question and answer session is to clarify all the doubts after attending this session if you have any doubt related to registration related to anything we will be having that question and answer round to solve all your queries so if your queries are not being solved here please Don't Panic please don't uh start messaging everyone just wait we will be clarify everything in detail in the question and answer route and it is mandatory for all the students to attend it so that even if you don't have any doubt right now it might come later on so that you know about this okay so please attend question and answer round in second week in this week only then you will also be given self-based Learning Link so we will be a giving a self-based learning course link where you have to complete all the courses as mentioned and then you have to uh attend the master classes so in week three you have to continue completing your self-based learning course apart from that you have to attend master class one and Master Class 2 it will give you better Clarity on the subject so as you are reading you when you read and then also attend online classes the concept becomes more clear so you have to attend both the master classes and then we'll also be hosting another Q&A session which will be optional if you have any other doubt you can attend that and you have to continue completing your master class uh sorry self-based learning course in week four you have to attend Master Class 3 Master Class 4 and submit your learning plan certificate what is the learning plan certificate it is the certificate that you get once you complete your self-based learning course once you complete the full course you have to submit the learning plan certificate with that submit uh submission you also have to submit your resume your C resume or CV or your LinkedIn uh uh LinkedIn link and the testimonial to share your experience and your feedback that you have to submit in week four along with the submission of the certificate of the learning plan so just keep in mind that you that you make sure that you submit your resume or CV in this Google form so in week five what you will do you will uh start preparing your concept note and submit it in week five and you will also get the opportunity of attending the mentor meeting that we have discussed in the previous slides as well that you will get the opportunity to have the session with the IBM experts and get yourself mentored by them you can clarify all your doubts you can ask about the concept note you can even uh uh if you have any doubt with your concept note if you're not uh confident enough that your concept note uh covers everything you can verify everything with your mentor and you will get the opportunity to clarify all your doubts in this mentor meeting after attending this you will have to submit your concept note in week six you will start working uh in week five only you will start working on your final submission and you have to submit your final submission in week six where you have to make a final PP what is that final PP the pp which you have uh you have to make on the base of your on the basis of the project that you have made you will have to make a PP which contains the website idea the features of the website and the screenshot of the web pages and important syntaxes these all you have to submit as your final deliverable in week six I hope everything is clear till yet here if you have any doubt please let me know yes you will get your certificate online so PPT uh students are asking about PBT so you have to submit your PPT where you have to explain everything about the project the project title why you have chosen this project what are all the features of the website the screenshot everything will be there in the project we will explain everything in detail also once uh the deadline will come we will explain everything but the pp will have the website idea the feat screenshot and important syntax it will be a small PP based on the project that you have prepared and the website also should be running so these two things will be required any other doubt okay so uh coming to this side many of the students have even before starting with the or presentation they were asking questions about how we will be submitting the project where we will be submitting the project these kind of questions were coming in our uh chat boxes so let me clarify this you will get uh you will see this web pages very soon we will be sharing the link once there will be deadline and you have to submit it this is a web page that we have created where you have to log in using the email ID and your college name so you have to uh write the unique don't uh focus on unique ID right now we will be sharing the unique ID also later on but right now you have to register through a email ID on from which you have uh registered on the platform so you have to use the email ID and the college name there is a list drop- down list that you can see here you have to choose your college and then click on login we will be sharing the link of this web page once there will be the deadline and you have to submit the project then we will be sharing this web page just for your understanding because some of the students were asking we have to submit in PDF you have to submit a vit format you have to submit on cloud so this is the web page where you have to submit once you click on login this dashboard will appear where your unique ID will be you can see your unique ID here your college name the total team members female members everything will be mentioned here and then at the bottom there will be two buttons here you can see submit concept note and submit final deliver deliverables so there will be two buttons once we will ask you when we will ask you to submit the concept note then you will click here the concept note will be submit as a group as a team not individually so each team should have only one concept note it will be submitted as a group so you have to click on the submit concept note and upload your concept note here and when when we will ask you to submit final deliverable then you have to submit it here this is the web page that you will be using to submit the deliverables students will get the same project or different they will all be working on different projects we will just give you the theme of on which you have to work we will not give you the exact topic you can work on any topic you want we will just give you the theme yes we will be discussing about concept note also okay so these are all the three deliverables that you have to submit first deliverable will be submitted in week four and what will be that you have to submit a learning plan that with the learning plan completion certificate after doing the self-paced learning course you will get a certificate that you have to upload in PDF jpg or the screenshot that you have to do next in that form only you have to submit a resume or CV or LinkedIn profile that you have and then you can also share your testimony with us so this is the first deliverable that you have to submit in week four now the Del second deliverable which is uh deliverable two that you have to submit in the week five fifth week of the internship program so what will be that you have to submit a concept mode that I have just discussed you have to submit a concept note I will be sharing the sample of the concept note as well but the topics that has to be covered in the concept note are these first you have to write the title of the project the project on which you will be working on that should be written on the concept note the objective behind the uh choosing this title then the rational behind it sit map sit map means the website screen how it will be looking how it will look like what all all the features that you will be using that you have to mention in the concept note and the theme will be sustainable development goals you can choose any theme any topic any of the sustainable devel vment goals to prepare your project you can chose choose gender equality you can choose hunger you can choose poverty any of you can search online also all the 17 sustainable development goals and you can choose any of the topic and then prepare a relevant website which aligns with the sustainable development goal so this is the topic of the uh project that you will be preparing sustainable development goals then you also have to write the methodology that you have used and the programming that you have used in your project these are all the things that you have to make in your second deliverables okay now coming to the final deliverable once you submit the uh concept note in uh week five then you will start preparing for your final deliverable and that deliverable will contain a PPT with a website idea that I've just discussed before also a PPT will be containing the website idea features of the website screenshot of the web pages and important syntaxes along with that the working uh website as link of the working website so these are all the uh things that should be included in final deliverable if you have any doubt in these deliverables please let me know if you have any questions attendance will be counted as individually not team wise yes once you are registered on the platform after uh one or two days we will be sharing the self-based learning course so that you can complete it in two to 3 weeks the projects will be submitted in not individually but as a whole team okay so one uh team will be submitting one project on any one topic not five or six different projects but one project from one team it is an in not a individual project it is a group project that is why you are all divided in groups any other doubt so your marks will be provided individually because you have to submit your uh like it will be individual as well as group because first you have to submit your self based learning course that will be uh marks will be given individually and then you have to submit team project that will be another component topic of the project is there's no specific topic you can choose any topic out of sustainable development goals so this is the theme that we have given you you can choose any topic from sustainable development goals yes you can use online platform for your website for pitch night the team will be selected not individuals okay so moving to the next slide these are all the four master classes that you will be attending uh these master classes will cover most of the topics that you will be learning uh in self-based learning course and also you will get lot of clarity on the subject so you can see the first master class is on HTML fundamentals and web structure the second master class is on CSS styling techniques and responsive design the third master class is on JavaScript Essentials and Dom manipulation the fourth master class is on design thinking principles so this fourth master classes will be common for front end and data analytics because M uh design thing is is very important component in both the internship program it will help you to make a very creative and Powerful website and you will be able to make a very good project after attending this design thinking principales master class so these are all the four master class that you will be attending these will not be in one week only these are divided and I have already shared the whole flow in which I have shared when all we will be having in all in which weeks we'll be having these master classes so we will be covering all these topics as you can see uh in the master classes we will be covering all these topics yes we will be discussing about concept note we will be sharing a Google form with you where you can submit your self-based learning course okay so you want to know about deliverable two just wait so deliverable two is the concept note concept note means a brief description about the on the project that you will be making later on so it's just about the description of the project that you will be submitting as your final deliverable so concept note contains title of the project objective rational why you have chosen the project the site map the and it will be on any of the sustainable development goal you can choose any of the methodology that you have choose I'll share the sample concept note also with you after the end of the slides and the programming that you have used it is basically four to six page containing all the information about the final PPT final project that you are making okay so what are all the requisites of the uh internship program of this internship program first you have to complete the self-based learning course that we will be sharing with you on the platform then only you will be getting the opportunity to uh attend the mentor meeting so just note this point it's very important that you have have to complete the self-based learning course on the platform to attend all the other benefits of the internship program next you have to submit the uh deliverables you have to submit all the deliverables on the time attend all the master classes and attend the mentor meeting these are all the requisites of the frontend web development internship program to get a com uh internship completion certificate you have to fulfill all these three points you have to complete the self-based learning course you have to submit all the deliverables on time time and also you have to attend the master classes and mentoring sessions regularly as per schedule okay so this is how your learning plan will look like like we have divided your learning plan in two different groups first is your domain specific and second is your job Readiness so because we all know that domain specific will help you to clear all your doubts to learn more uh New Concepts in make of making a website and everything about the domain specific but it is also important to know all the job Readiness skills so that you can showcase your talent when you are giving the the interview or when you are writing your cover letter or resume so it is very important to attend both the components both components are compulsory first is the frontend web development uh domain specific learning plan here as you can see on the screen you will be getting different batches you will be getting some courses to complete where you will get the batches and then you will also be completing uh two different I will show you in the next slide just a minute yeah so this is the how the learning plan will look like you can see uh here it is written complete 10 required so you have to complete any 10 courses from here there's a long list you will be seeing that list once you get the link so there's a long list you have to complete any 10 from here and once you complete any 10 from here there will be seconds part where you have to complete any three from the following five so the these are the two section section one and section two section one you have to complete any 10 section three two you have to complete any three so these are the courses that you have to complete and this is very important for you to complete to get mentoring session to to be eligible for the certificate final certificate of internship program you have to complete these two components this is subject domain specific learning plan now moving on on we also have job Readiness uh component where you have to complete few courses here also there will be uh here you can see on the screen complete any one of the following three so from these three you have to complete any one of the course and from here in the section two you can complete any two from the 12th if you want to do more than two you can definitely complete more than two courses but at least at least minimum two will be required so I will repeat it again the learning program consists of two components first is these will help you to get a secure job in future if you'll do lot of courses from the website you will get lot of batches that you can upload it on skills build as you can see on the screen there are batches and licenses students have uploaded so there will be many courses where you'll receive the batches and you can submit upload it online so now uh we will be discussing about the evaluation criteria how your internship will be evaluated each and everything in detail so this is your evaluation criteria just look at the screen first and try to understand what is this uh screen telling you about you can see orientation attendance so to when you are attending today's orientation you will be getting 40 marks if uh 40 marks for attending the orientation if you complete the uh activity that we will be telling you today when while registering you on the portal you will get 40 marks if you do not complete your activity today if you do it next day then you will get 30 marks and late submission after the day of three will be 20 marks so this is the criteria of orientation attendance then next will be Master Class once when you attend the master class you will be getting 20 marks for attending the master class one and if you do not attend the master class and fill the registration uh attendance form the next stage and then you will get 15 marks and lead submission after that if you submit the attendance form you will get only 10 marks and so on with the second master class third Master Class fourth Master Class you will this is how you will be evaluated so make sure after each and every session you fill the attendance form then there will be 120 marks for submitting the learning plan completion sub uh certificate so the certificate that you have you will get after completing your learning plan completion that has to with completing both the domains domain specific as well as your job Readiness when you complete both of them you will get 120 marks if you complete on the same day and submit on the same day as of the deadline then you will get 120 marks if you submit next day then see how much it gets reduced it you will get only 90 marks and if you submit after the third day you will get only 60 marks then for submitting or uploading your resume or LinkedIn Prof profile you will be getting 20 marks how and when you will be submitting you will be submitting it at the time of the Google form when you we will sharing you the Google form to submit your self-paced learning course you have to submit your resume and Linkedin for that you will be getting 20 marks if you submit it next day you will get 15 and then if you submit it after third day you will get only 10 marks so these two can be combined you have to submit your self-paced learning course along with the resume and and uh LinkedIn profile so these two will be combined so for submitting the concept note you will be getting 40 marks and uh if you submit it late you will get 30 and 20 marks final deliverable will be for 200 marks so see how important it is you have to submit the final deliverable on time to get 200 marks if you do not submit on time you will get 160 marks and if you submit it late then you will after 3 days you will get 100 marks if you have any doubt related to this please ask impact stories means you can share your feedback with us how was your journey of internship what did you learn learn how did it impact you you can share your uh impact story like this you can write it in a paragraph or you can maybe send us the recording video recording it is up to you yes the concept note the final deliverable will be uh evaluated as a team only so if your team submits it on time you will get 40 marks it will not be individ ually till here it will be like the whole internship program how did it impact you if you learned anything all your experiences about the platform anything you can share it in a paragraph or you can also share it as a video for that you will be getting another 20 marks and all those students who score top who gets the top marks they will be getting a special certificate from us so see how exciting this journey is you will be used to make the website and the features the features of what features of the website that you have to mention search and filtering volunteering matching based on their interest and skills impact tracking volunteer uh reviews and ratings so all are these are the features that the student has used in the website that you have to mention here and then the methodology the methodology that you have used will be mentioned here the methodology of for developing the community volunteering exchange platform involves Gathering requirements designing and prototyping the prototyping the user interface so these you have to explain how you we have uh what methods you have used the methodology you have to write it in the concept note and the probable outcome that you are expecting from your project that you have to mention increased volunteer engagement enhanced impact of nonprofit organization collaborative volunteer transparent feedback accountability everything that you have to write categories will not work if you don&#39;t know about how to get a secure job so how to for that what skills do you need you need the skills to make a maybe a powerful CV or you need the skills to make of the program next is the self-based learning program uh course that we will be providing you uh day after tomorrow once you are registered on the platform you will be getting a self-based learning course where you have different kinds of courses and you have to complete these courses The Next Step will be the master classes so you will be doing the self-based learning course along with it you will also be attending the Master Class by the subject experts you after attending the master classes you will get the opportunity of mentoring sessions these mentoring session is such a great opportunity for all of you I will I will highly recommend that you all attend this mentoring session because it will be given by the IBM employees can you imagine IBM employees giving you mentoring small teams where you will get this opportunity and where you will be able to clarify all your doubts on as a on online basis so next will be working on deliver deliverables so once you submit once you uh attend the M master classes and the mentoring sessions you will also get the opportunity to work on your deliverable we will be asking you to submit a project you will start working on that project you can clarify your doubts also with your mentors if you get any doubt and then you will submit the project and then after submitting your project we will be hosting a pitch night with all the selected students who will get the opportunity to showcase their talent to uh in front of the IBM expert judge so this is all the flow about of the internship program if you have any doubt with lot of your energy you have to make a project you have to be in the group so it&#39;s better that you focus on one internship at a time and all the internships will give you lot of a learning experience so don&#39;t feel that you are missing out on something this internship that you have actually participated in will give you a lot of opportunity to learn and grow so we have also divided all the uh the internship into three stages here you can see in the first stage you will be given a self-based learning activities what you have to do in that you will be sharing a link with you you have to complete all the courses as mentioned in the uh link and after completing this link you have to submit a concept note what is a concept note concept note is basically a small idea a three to four page idea on which you will be making your project so you have to make uh write a concept note about that project we will be discussing the concept note also I&#39;ll share you the sample also okay next is stage two we will allocate mentors to you after you submit the concept note only after you submit the concept note you will be going to the stage two part so all those students who submit the concept note who complete the self-based learning activities will be given the opportunity of mentoring so these students will get the mentors they will be guided by our expert IBM expert employees they will also get the portunity to attend the master classes we will be having four master classes that you all should attend on different topics we will be discussing about the topics in detail in the latest slides and then after completing all these steps you will have to submit a final submission final submission of the project you have to do after the end of the all the uh programs so in stage three once you submit the final PP in stage three if you are shortlisted uh you will get the opportunity to present your uh project in the pitch night we will be hosting a pitch night competition for all the students who are shortlisted or all the students who have an amazing uh project they will be shortlisted they will get the opportunity to uh to present their project in Pitch night and also all those students who are shortlisted who get the opportunity to present it on Pitch night from that list there will be some students who will be shortlisted to present as pan India show invent uh invitation we will be giving invitation to attend a uh event and we will be discussing about this also in the later slides all the students will also get the placement assistance so coming to the next slide yeah so let&#39;s discuss about the internship program component so there will be self-based learning program all the students will have to complete the self-based learning program uh learning course in two to three weeks and then you will also uh have to attend the master classes there will be four master classes in total I I will tell you all the topics of the master classes you have to go attend all the master classes on frontend web development you have to submit a project that I&#39;ve just informed you about the concept note and the final project you have to submit then you have to complete the course that we have shared with you the self-based learning course that you have to submit along with the certificate you will also be getting batches and certificate in completing these courses and after you complete all these courses all these steps you will be getting the placement assistance what happens in the placement assistance once you are when you are will be submitted uh submitting the concept note and um we will be also sharing a Google form with you all so once you will be submitting the self-based learning uh course I&#39;m sorry so please please uh be attentive listen to all the points we are discussing the week wise flow so first week was your self exploring pre-work where you got some free work to do you explored a little bit about the frontend web development that was your first week now second week is the week where you are now attending the orientation program this is your second week you are attending the orientation program you also get the opportunity to have to attend question and answer session what is that question and answer session is to clarify all the doubts after attending this session if you have any doubt related to registration related to anything we will be having that question and answer round to solve all your queries so if your queries are not being solved here please Don&#39;t Panic please don&#39;t uh start messaging everyone just wait we will be clarify everything in detail in the question and answer route and it is mandatory for all the students to attend it so that even if you don&#39;t have any doubt right now it might come later on so that you know about this okay so please attend question and answer round in second week in this week only then you will also be given self-based Learning Link so we will be a giving a self-based learning course link where you have to complete all the courses as mentioned and then you have to uh attend the master classes so in week three you have to continue completing your self-based learning course apart from that you have to attend master class one and Master Class 2 it will give you better Clarity on the subject so as you are reading you when you read and then also attend online classes the concept becomes more clear so you have to attend both the master classes and then we&#39;ll also be hosting another Q&amp;A session which will be optional if you have any other doubt you can attend that and you have to continue completing your master class uh sorry self-based learning course in week four you have to attend Master Class 3 Master Class 4 and submit your learning plan certificate what is the learning plan certificate it is the certificate that you get once you complete your self-based learning course once you complete the full course you have to submit the learning plan certificate with that submit uh submission you also have to submit your resume your C resume or CV or your LinkedIn uh uh LinkedIn link and the testimonial to share your experience and your feedback that you have to submit in week four along with the submission of the certificate of the learning plan so just keep in mind that you that you make sure that you submit your resume or CV in this Google form so in week five what you will do you will uh start preparing your concept note and submit it in week five and you will also get the opportunity of attending the mentor meeting that we have discussed in the previous slides as well that you will get the opportunity to have the session with the IBM experts and get yourself mentored by them you can clarify all your doubts you can ask about the concept note you can even uh uh if you have any doubt with your concept note if you&#39;re not uh confident enough that your concept note uh covers everything you can verify everything with your mentor and you will get the opportunity to clarify all your doubts in this mentor meeting after attending this you will have to submit your concept note in week six you will start working uh in week five only you will start working on your final submission and you have to submit your final submission in week six where you have to make a final PP what is that final PP the pp which you have uh you have to make on the base of your on the basis of the project that you have made you will have to make a PP which contains the website idea the features of the website and the screenshot of the web pages and important syntaxes these all you have to submit as your final deliverable in week six I hope everything is clear till yet here if you have any doubt please let me know yes you will get your certificate online so PPT uh students are asking about PBT so you have to submit your PPT where you have to explain everything about the project the project title why you have chosen this project what are all the features of the website the screenshot everything will be there in the project we will explain everything in detail also once uh the deadline will come we will explain everything but the pp will have the website idea the feat screenshot and important syntax it will be a small PP based on the project that you have prepared and the website also should be running so these two things will be required any other doubt okay so uh coming to this side many of the students have even before starting with the or presentation they were asking questions about how we will be submitting the project where we will be submitting the project these kind of questions were coming in our uh chat boxes so let me clarify this you will get uh you will see this web pages very soon we will be sharing the link once there will be deadline and you have to submit it this is a web page that we have created where you have to log in using the email ID and your college name so you have to uh write the unique don&#39;t uh focus on unique ID right now we will be sharing the unique ID also later on but right now you have to register through a email ID on from which you have uh registered on the platform so you have to use the email ID and the college name there is a list drop- down list that you can see here you have to choose your college and then click on login we will be sharing the link of this web page once there will be the deadline and you have to submit the project then we will be sharing this web page just for your understanding because some of the students were asking we have to submit in PDF you have to submit a vit format you have to submit on cloud so this is the web page where you have to submit once you click on login this dashboard will appear where your unique ID will be you can see your unique ID here your college name the total team members female members everything will be mentioned here and then at the bottom there will be two buttons here you can see submit concept note and submit final deliver deliverables so there will be two buttons once we will ask you when we will ask you to submit the concept note then you will click here the concept note will be submit as a group as a team not individually so each team should have only one concept note it will be submitted as a group so you have to click on the submit concept note and upload your concept note here and when when we will ask you to submit final deliverable then you have to submit it here this is the web page that you will be using to submit the deliverables students will get the same project or different they will all be working on different projects we will just give you the theme of on which you have to work we will not give you the exact topic you can work on any topic you want we will just give you the theme yes we will be discussing about concept note also okay so these are all the three deliverables that you have to submit first deliverable will be submitted in week four and what will be that you have to submit a learning plan that with the learning plan completion certificate after doing the self-paced learning course you will get a certificate that you have to upload in PDF jpg or the screenshot that you have to do next in that form only you have to submit a resume or CV or LinkedIn profile that you have and then you can also share your testimony with us so this is the first deliverable that you have to submit in week four now the Del second deliverable which is uh deliverable two that you have to submit in the week five fifth week of the internship program so what will be that you have to submit a concept mode that I have just discussed you have to submit a concept note I will be sharing the sample of the concept note as well but the topics that has to be covered in the concept note are these first you have to write the title of the project the project on which you will be working on that should be written on the concept note the objective behind the uh choosing this title then the rational behind it sit map sit map means the website screen how it will be looking how it will look like what all all the features that you will be using that you have to mention in the concept note and the theme will be sustainable development goals you can choose any theme any topic any of the sustainable devel vment goals to prepare your project you can chose choose gender equality you can choose hunger you can choose poverty any of you can search online also all the 17 sustainable development goals and you can choose any of the topic and then prepare a relevant website which aligns with the sustainable development goal so this is the topic of the uh project that you will be preparing sustainable development goals then you also have to write the methodology that you have used and the programming that you have used in your project these are all the things that you have to make in your second deliverables okay now coming to the final deliverable once you submit the uh concept note in uh week five then you will start preparing for your final deliverable and that deliverable will contain a PPT with a website idea that I&#39;ve just discussed before also a PPT will be containing the website idea features of the website screenshot of the web pages and important syntaxes along with that the working uh website as link of the working website so these are all the uh things that should be included in final deliverable if you have any doubt in these deliverables please let me know if you have any questions attendance will be counted as individually not team wise yes once you are registered on the platform after uh one or two days we will be sharing the self-based learning course so that you can complete it in two to 3 weeks the projects will be submitted in not individually but as a whole team okay so one uh team will be submitting one project on any one topic not five or six different projects but one project from one team it is an in not a individual project it is a group project that is why you are all divided in groups any other doubt so your marks will be provided individually because you have to submit your uh like it will be individual as well as group because first you have to submit your self based learning course that will be uh marks will be given individually and then you have to submit team project that will be another component topic of the project is there&#39;s no specific topic you can choose any topic out of sustainable development goals so this is the theme that we have given you you can choose any topic from sustainable development goals yes you can use online platform for your website for pitch night the team will be selected not individuals okay so moving to the next slide these are all the four master classes that you will be attending uh these master classes will cover most of the topics that you will be learning uh in self-based learning course and also you will get lot of clarity on the subject so you can see the first master class is on HTML fundamentals and web structure the second master class is on CSS styling techniques and responsive design the third master class is on JavaScript Essentials and Dom manipulation the fourth master class is on design thinking principles so this fourth master classes will be common for front end and data analytics because M uh design thing is is very important component in both the internship program it will help you to make a very creative and Powerful website and you will be able to make a very good project after attending this design thinking principales master class so these are all the four master class that you will be attending these will not be in one week only these are divided and I have already shared the whole flow in which I have shared when all we will be having in all in which weeks we&#39;ll be having these master classes so we will be covering all these topics as you can see uh in the master classes we will be covering all these topics yes we will be discussing about concept note we will be sharing a Google form with you where you can submit your self-based learning course okay so you want to know about deliverable two just wait so deliverable two is the concept note concept note means a brief description about the on the project that you will be making later on so it&#39;s just about the description of the project that you will be submitting as your final deliverable so concept note contains title of the project objective rational why you have chosen the project the site map the and it will be on any of the sustainable development goal you can choose any of the methodology that you have choose I&#39;ll share the sample concept note also with you after the end of the slides and the programming that you have used it is basically four to six page containing all the information about the final PPT final project that you are making okay so what are all the requisites of the uh internship program of this internship program first you have to complete the self-based learning course that we will be sharing with you on the platform then only you will be getting the opportunity to uh attend the mentor meeting so just note this point it&#39;s very important that you have have to complete the self-based learning course on the platform to attend all the other benefits of the internship program next you have to submit the uh deliverables you have to submit all the deliverables on the time attend all the master classes and attend the mentor meeting these are all the requisites of the frontend web development internship program to get a com uh internship completion certificate you have to fulfill all these three points you have to complete the self-based learning course you have to submit all the deliverables on time time and also you have to attend the master classes and mentoring sessions regularly as per schedule okay so this is how your learning plan will look like like we have divided your learning plan in two different groups first is your domain specific and second is your job Readiness so because we all know that domain specific will help you to clear all your doubts to learn more uh New Concepts in make of making a website and everything about the domain specific but it is also important to know all the job Readiness skills so that you can showcase your talent when you are giving the the interview or when you are writing your cover letter or resume so it is very important to attend both the components both components are compulsory first is the frontend web development uh domain specific learning plan here as you can see on the screen you will be getting different batches you will be getting some courses to complete where you will get the batches and then you will also be completing uh two different I will show you in the next slide just a minute yeah so this is the how the learning plan will look like you can see uh here it is written complete 10 required so you have to complete any 10 courses from here there&#39;s a long list you will be seeing that list once you get the link so there&#39;s a long list you have to complete any 10 from here and once you complete any 10 from here there will be seconds part where you have to complete any three from the following five so the these are the two section section one and section two section one you have to complete any 10 section three two you have to complete any three so these are the courses that you have to complete and this is very important for you to complete to get mentoring session to to be eligible for the certificate final certificate of internship program you have to complete these two components this is subject domain specific learning plan now moving on on we also have job Readiness uh component where you have to complete few courses here also there will be uh here you can see on the screen complete any one of the following three so from these three you have to complete any one of the course and from here in the section two you can complete any two from the 12th if you want to do more than two you can definitely complete more than two courses but at least at least minimum two will be required so I will repeat it again the learning program consists of two components first is domain specific like this the learning plan domain specific you have where you have to complete the two sections provided in first section you will be completing any 10 course in second section you will be completing any three courses the next will be job Readiness in job Readiness also you will be getting two section in first section you have to complete any one and in second section you have to complete any two from the 12 courses that are given there I hope it is clear to everyone if you have any doubt you can let me know yes all the courses are free of cost you don&#39;t have to make any payment yes you will be getting all the information about when you have to complete all the deadline everything will be circulated when the deadline is near in all the WhatsApp groups this is the IBM skills field platform only we we have we will be sharing the link with you once you are registered on the platform then you have to complete these courses online and this courses are on skills built platform form only yes you will get the lifetime access of the course on the platform okay so moving on to the next slide what are batches so once as you have seen here that we have lot of courses here that you have to complete and some of the courses also provides you batches what are batches batch are basically once you complete any course you will get certificate and batches okay and you can basically you can share your batches in on your social media on your CV on your LinkedIn profile to show them to tell the recruiter that you have completed that course so it is a globally acceptable batch when you get a batch you can display it on the on the uh LinkedIn profile to tell your recruiter that you have completed the course with a C certificate everything will be there in detail so these will help you to get a secure job in future if you&#39;ll do lot of courses from the website you will get lot of batches that you can upload it on skills build as you can see on the screen there are batches and licenses students have uploaded so there will be many courses where you&#39;ll receive the batches and you can submit upload it online so now uh we will be discussing about the evaluation criteria how your internship will be evaluated each and everything in detail so this is your evaluation criteria just look at the screen first and try to understand what is this uh screen telling you about you can see orientation attendance so to when you are attending today&#39;s orientation you will be getting 40 marks if uh 40 marks for attending the orientation if you complete the uh activity that we will be telling you today when while registering you on the portal you will get 40 marks if you do not complete your activity today if you do it next day then you will get 30 marks and late submission after the day of three will be 20 marks so this is the criteria of orientation attendance then next will be Master Class once when you attend the master class you will be getting 20 marks for attending the master class one and if you do not attend the master class and fill the registration uh attendance form the next stage and then you will get 15 marks and lead submission after that if you submit the attendance form you will get only 10 marks and so on with the second master class third well as your job Readiness when you complete both of them you will get 120 marks if you complete on the same day and submit on the same day as of the deadline then you will get 120 marks if you submit next day then see how much it gets reduced it you will get only 90 marks and if you submit after the third day you will get only 60 marks then for submitting or uploading your resume or LinkedIn Prof profile you will be getting 20 marks how and when you will be submitting you will be submitting it at the time of the Google form when you we will sharing you the Google form to submit your self-paced learning course you have to submit your resume and Linkedin for that you will be getting 20 marks if you submit it next day you will get 15 and then if you submit it after third day you will get only 10 marks so these two can be combined you have to submit your self-paced learning course along with the resume and and uh LinkedIn profile so these two will be combined so for submitting the concept note you will be getting 40 marks and uh if you submit it late you will get 30 and 20 marks final deliverable will be for 200 marks so see how important it is you have to submit the final deliverable on time to get 200 marks if you do not submit on time you will get 160 marks and if you submit it late then you will after 3 days you will get 100 marks if you have any doubt related to this please ask impact stories means you can share your feedback with us how was your journey of internship what did you learn learn how did it impact you you can share your uh impact story like this you can write it in a paragraph or you can maybe send us the recording video recording it is up to you yes the concept note the final deliverable will be uh evaluated as a team only so if your team submits it on time you will get 40 marks it will not be individ ually till here it will be individually orientation Master Class 1 2 3 4 and submission of learning plan completion after and your resume and Linkedin profile upload after that it will be team f concept note and final deliverable if you submit the impact story it will be another 20 marks for you what is the impact story you can share about about your feedback how did you like the orientation program uh how did you like the whole internship program how did it impact you if you learned anything all your experiences about the platform anything you can share it in a paragraph or you can also share it as a video for that you will be getting another 20 marks and all those students who score top who gets the top marks they will be getting a special certificate from us so see how exciting this journey is you will be getting lot of opportunities to learn apart from that you will also be getting certificates and opportunity to get will be there your course will be there the dates will be there unique ID will also be written here your internship ID will be written here so this is how the certificate will look like and this is logged in please try to do it right now click on set up your profile let&#39;s set up your profile fill in all the information write your first name your family name your country additional information information and I will uh show you in the next slide just write your first name family name means your surname you have to write surname in family name if you&#39;re not using the family name you can put a full stop so you have to write family name first name family name and the country family name is your surname you can put a full stop if you&#39;re not using family name next you have to click on additional information please click on additional information select your each category and then select college student are you college student after filling the basic information click on additional information select the age category select call student option and then click on terms and condition if you have any doubt please write it in the chat box if the website is not working you can try it later you will be able to log in later on please do not panic if the website is not working after sign up with Google you have to select the uh email ID that you are currently using first click on sign up with Google then click the any email ID then click on let&#39;s set up your profile click your write your first name your family name your family name means your surname you can write a full stop if you&#39;re not using the family name select your country and then click on additional information after clicking on additional information select the age category then select college student option from here and then click on terms and condition once you click on terms and condition you have to click on all the three check boxes and click on submit once you click on terms and condition click on all the three check boxes and then click on submit just please use the registered email ID that you have used for registration purpose you have to complete your registration by tomorrow then only you will be getting your self-paced learning course yes you can say use the same email ID that you&#39;ve used for Academia yes you have to make a new registration if you have already registered with some other organization okay so click on additional information click on age select your age category select college student then click on terms and condition click on all the three check boxes and then click on submit I hope you are all here please click done if you have already clicked on submit and you have completed till here please click uh please write done if you come if you have all here on the language page okay uh n is saying details says are on the homeage if you&#39;re already registered on this platform you don&#39;t have to register but you have you all see my screen so this is the concept note of the previous year this is the concept note of the previous year it&#39;s not compul that you have to make it in the same way but yes these are the main topics that you have to cover in your concept note and just make sure that you use the theme of sustainable development goals this is the previous year topic so you don&#39;t have to copy the same no concept note so first thing is that you have to write the title of the concept note Community volunteering exchange is the title of the concept note then you have to explain the concept of of the project why you have chosen and what uh what is the uh project all about you have to write the concept of the project next you have to write the problem statement that means that why you have chosen this project what is the problem that you are trying to solve with this project you have to write it here in the problem statement and then you have to write objective of the project that means what are all the things that you will be covering in the concept note in in the final project that you have to write as a objective what is your objective why are you using this project and what things you will be covering that you have to write in this concept note in the objective of the project data sources used if you have used uh any data sources that you have to mention softwares that you have used that you have to mention here all the list of the s softwares that you have used to make the website and the features the features of what features of the website that you have to mention search and filtering volunteering matching based on their interest and skills impact tracking volunteer uh reviews and ratings so all are these are the features that the student has used in the website that you have to mention here and then the methodology the methodology that you have used will be mentioned here the methodology of for developing the community volunteering exchange platform involves Gathering requirements designing and prototyping the prototyping the user interface so these you have to explain how you we have uh what methods you have used the methodology you have to write it in the concept note and the probable outcome that you are expecting from your project that you have to mention increased volunteer engagement enhanced impact of nonprofit organization collaborative volunteer transparent feedback accountability everything that you have to write about the outcome what you are expecting so this is one of the samples of the concept note you can use any concept note but make sure that you use these are the important uh headings that you have to write the concept problem state M objective data source used software and feature you can use this to write your concept note I&#39;ll share another concept note for five minutes just a minute I hope uh just clear to you how to prepare a concept note so this is the another concept note this is also from the organization name is CSR box just make sure that organization name is CSR box uh hello I want to add something right so students if you have registered and you are on the homepage right so how can you see that which is your organization so I have shared a PDF of three four slides in your WhatsApp group right so you can see from there that there is a three dot option in right bottom when you click on it there&#39;s a option of profile when you open your profile you can see your organization name there right if it is CSR box it&#39;s fine if it is some other name or other organization or any other name you need to use another email ID and when you use that another email ID use that new email ID to uh add your attendance as well as fill the Google form so that we can update that new email
