in this video I'm going to be playing games from 2017 instead of 2019 and seeing what are the most popular games from this year Right now I'm on the way back machine cuz this is the way that you probably get games from the past because I don't know how the 2017 popular games looked I remember the site looking like this in 2018 That was originally when I joined Roblox but my other account just I can't log into it It just won't let me Anyways I remember this game McDonald's Tycoon which was probably taken down for copyright So h the wayback machine has not archived that URL How about I can maybe get the ID of the game Yep it's probably taken down So another game exists So I'll just copy this ID Uh go into a new Roblox page and then I'll be right back once I find the original game Here's the game which seems to have been taken down Oh McDonald's Tycoon has moved to here Okay this game obviously got taken down for copyright reasons but Tycoon Productions are the people who made it from the way back [Music] machine I found the game that I remember playing ages ago like ages ago I am shocked that this is still up It's McDonald's Tycoon I searched up OG because it's probably like someone's made it Maybe this was made for nostalgia I have a feeling it was And the original I think was just a tycoon kit and they just used it But and then they weren't expecting a popular game and they got one or something But back in 2017 you were more limited to what you could do in Roblox Studio So this is pretty impressive for its time Nowadays I'd say the UI is very bad compared to newer games It's not very bad I'd say it's just bad because um it was a lot harder to make UI So you can give them credit for that But this UI is horrible if I'm being honest But this game I remember playing I had so many good memories It was really fun I think that if the game saved it would be more popular Overall I'd say that this was a tycoon that had to come and go and it was just kind of a trend at the time I'd say this game had to die though Like in the other video how I said this game had to die This one kind of deserves to die because it was just a tycoon kit probably or just loweffort tycoon and they weren't expecting much and they got a lot Moving on to the next game YouTube factory tycoon is still up believe it or not Oh wait It says content deleted I have a feeling that when I join it's just going to be an empty base plate Actually maybe not cuz usually the title would be content deleted So here is the next game YouTube Tycoon which just then I stuffed up the recording It is basically another tycoon It's a cash grab tycoon You can name it Um I know that this on the side looks old This button looks I guess it doesn't look too old It does look like classic but not that old Um and you can tell this was made for money just because look at this What is this Oh these are other developer products VIP access How about mega VIP access That is not that reasonably priced Okay these are all overpriced in my opinion except for the gravity coil This is a bit overpriced The giant bomb is how much 25 Reasonably priced This is reasonably priced I guess I'd say But I can tell that this wasn't made because the developer was passionate because back then this would be the brain rot that they'd make So basically you'd stay in their game if you're a premium member but it was called Builder Club I'm pretty sure they'd earn Robux if you joined Then they'd earn more Robux if you stayed It's like premium but a different name and it's a bit better or no a lot better I should say because you get like cool hats Anyways I'd say that this game primarily was made for money It wasn't really a passion project It was just like the developers saw some big um what's it uh they saw some potential in this game and back then this game would be very good and stuff Any tycoon I'd say have they've always been popular They not on the front page as much anymore but I'd say they've always been a popular game to make because they're very easy to make They you can do whatever you want really if you um are just making a tycoon I made one but it's really bad It's worse than this But I am kind of criticizing this game because it wasn't made because the developers were passionate The tycoon I made was primarily cuz I was passionate about it and I felt like I could update it And then I stopped updating it after I think a week or so because apparently the updates were too hard to make But overall this game had to die Anyways we're going to the next game So let's go to drum roll please [Music] editor Here is a Roblox game that used to be so popular and everyone loved it It is Zombie Rush Zombie Rush was basically a wave based game where there are zombies and each wave gets harder and harder where the zombies either get more health stronger etc And um this description is nice but the game is very very old It's from 2013 over a decade old And you if you didn't play this game when Roblox was in like if you didn't play this in like 2017 2018ish in 2019 maybe 2020 I don't know what you've been doing just staring at it It's really well made in my opinion They've updated the menu a little bit since I last played the game and that was purely probably because they wanted to make a new update Anyways here's the game I'm terrible at it because I haven't played in so long Oh I really like how when you're zoomed in that happens Okay I got So it's basically a What was is it Call of Dut duty duty Call of Duty Um sorry if I'm pronouncing that wrong Um this was Call of Duty but in Roblox I guess for its time Oh there's a zombie [Music] king I swear I haven't played this since like ages ago Wait what is my achievements kill 100 zombies Okay so I do remember this game being so popular Everyone loved it and now it's just kind of dead I do kind of like the new UI and I do like some of the new updates except the new UI I think they should have had like a setting in settings where it says legacy mode or something So you can put legacy mode on if you're feeling nostalgia Overall I do think that if they made a big update they could bring back this
