dating profile a couple of months ago and how have those been going for you oh they work really great the schedule has been booked in busy Sergio has given me consent to share the before and after of his daily profile oh my god let's get into it we are going to get started with some up close portraits the key thing for your profile photo you want to make sure that you're smiling with your teeth and that you're looking at the camera and that your eyes aren't covered by sunglasses your head doesn't have a hat on it very simple and I also have another little tip so Sergio I'm gonna have you actually take your jacket off so that we show your arms if your arms are one of your assets that you want to show off in your photos then take off your coach or don't wear your long sleeve fold them across your chest and that will make for a great photo so I'm gonna have you take out your phone and your wallet from your pockets whether it's in your front pocket your jacket pocket your back jean pocket take out everything from your pockets because you don't want that extra bulk Sergio will have you lean against this cross your arms for me and then I'm gonna have you do a big smile perfect so one thing that you want to keep in mind if you are just having a friend take your photos that you're going to want to pick a backdrop that is nice and clean it could be a blank wall lighting is also going to be really important so you're going to want to pick somewhere that's in the shade with nice even lighting so there's no Shadows going on the face foreign we're at our next location same day new fit so you're going to want to have a variety of different tops to change into I'm gonna do some photos first Sergio's gonna sit down and now if you feel like you are very uncomfortable in front of the camera and you need to be warmed up then I would definitely recommend sitting down for your first set of images but because Sergio's a pro we were doing some standing ones but this is a great way just to relax your body as well because you don't have to worry about posing your legs anything like that so Sergio take a seat for me so I really love this sweater in particular because it contrasts really nicely with his dark hair and dark features and so it really is going to pop and then we did the red Polo for the first photo because that's really going to capture somebody's attention when they're scrolling through on the app because that red adds so much contrast and it pops really well so now have you put your hands on the table you can just rest them there nice okay perfect and you know what I'm have you bring your fingers out for me yep perfect okay so I'm gonna have you look at me and smile big now smiling with your teeth is really important especially when it comes to dating profiles because it's going to make you look more approachable more friendly and people want to see that beautiful smile the before we go into a standing full body photo we'll start with the sitting one so I'm gonna have you pop over here Sergio and you're going to be sitting kind of where you are like halfway off the chair yep perfect and then what you can do is you can have your elbows kind of closer to your knees and lean forward if you would like to yep and just do a big smile and then this is a great way to kind of segue into a full body standing photo which is also really important on your profile so people can see what you completely look like right but if you're still kind of feeling a bit uncomfortable in front of the camera start here and then end on that full body shot where you're having to focus on posing all of your limbs this is a great way to go into it [Music] um [Music] the third most important photo to have on your profile is a full body shot of you standing so first off we've got to take everything out of the pockets this is where it really is most important to take stuff out of the pockets because you can actually see it you might not in like the close-up stuff it's just like a good habit to get into what I'm gonna have you do is I'm going to just have you stand in the middle right here and then I'm gonna have you put one hand in your pocket and you're gonna pop your thumb out and then the other hand can just be at your side shoulders nice and back and sitting tall Standing Tall and then a big smile look at the camera super fast simple easy gets the job done gets you the dates you might as well start sending out the wedding invites right now so I'll be stand in the middle for me and you can notice how we're in this nice shaded area the lighting is even so we're also in an area that has a darker wall so that the sweater is going to pop you don't have to take it that far but just think about these things that are going to make you visually stand out on the app with what colors you're shooting within and then also like the background but the biggest thing is that you want to have nice even shaded light so we flipped around because the light is a little bit better on this side so whether you're shooting on a phone or a camera like I said in the intro it doesn't matter it's just that you can take these tips and apply it to you and so what you would do is just see with your phone what is the best lighting where it's nice even on his face and honestly it's when he's turned this way towards me I think we're going to shoot from here because we're in the shade but we had the sunlight reflecting a lot of beautiful light from this building onto Sergio's face since I shared that you could easily achieve great images on your iPhone as long as you apply these same ideas I thought that I would share something on the mobile phone but the biggest mobile phone on the iPhone I guess in your case Android not the green text that's the one red flag so you're going to want to wipe off the camera on the back of your phone because it's going to have fingerprints on it it's going to make sure that it's nice and clear one two three and even that is a great photo to use for a dating profile because we have nice even lighting the shirt is actually contrasting really well against the darker background so that's something to consider we have Sergio looking at the camera and smiling big which brings me to the last tip we're going to go to our next location most likely you have this happening in your dating profile and it needs to be eliminated immediately so let's find out what that is you are going to miss out on so many likes if you have sunglasses and a hat on because it's covering up two really important features right I think in this instance it's better for me to show than to tell [Music] [Music] if you wear hat because it's helping Aid being self-conscious of hair loss then it's totally
