right here we are along the canal bank hi today i'm doing a quick test of my canon g7x mark iii which i've had problems with since i bought it as many many others have in terms of the autofocus especially when vlogging so here i am at the moment walking along the riverbank it's bright sunshine and i've updated to version 1.3 over the weekend and i'm hoping that what this does is stays in focus all the way during this video so uh the problem has always been the fact that for whatever reason the canon couldn't hold focus on the face which from a vlogging point of view was rubbish and hopefully this 1.3 has uh has changed that so hopefully if you're seeing this video and my face stays in focus all the way along then it means it's worked which is brilliant because it means i'll be using my g7x mark iii for video a lot more than what i have been so there you go even in uh extreme lighting conditions like we are now hopefully it's staying locked onto my face it looks like it is the reason why i'm walking so erratically is i'm walking the dog and the dog wants to go in the river there you go so a bit of a test let me know in the comments below what you think of the uh the results but i'm quite quite encouraged i'm hoping it's worked thanks for watching
