Basecamp Overview and Features

so you've heard about this service called Base Camp and you may be googling around or just looking in general what it even is it's a project management tool and it helps your team to approach your projects in a little bit more of a different way today we're going to overview everything about Basecamp if we have any deals on Basecamp you can find it below or check it out on the site and you can jump over to toolfinder.co if you're interested in exploring more project management tools so basecamp it's a super interesting one if you compare it to likes of monday.com ClickUp Masana you're going to get a different experience the application isn't necessarily designed for you to micromanage your project in that way and it's got a different approach to it collectively so inside this application you can view stuff in a timeline view organize and see what's on the schedule but it's in a different user interface a different experience there's a messages board for asynchron synchronously keeping the team updated as well as the ability to ping messages to people as well there's a way to see how your projects going on but not a high level of detail on the boards and layouts that you typically get in those other project management applications now base camp is probably more suitable for those teams who are remote who are asynchronous or just find or want a more harmonious way to manage their team that isn't necessarily real time orientated the application does come on a wide range of devices and it's developed by a company called 37 Signals the pricing is a pretty strange one so they have a few different pricings they have this pro unlimited which is essentially one $299 per month but it's built annually and it's all inclusive meaning there's no more price that you pay beyond that if that makes sense so with monday.com you're based on seats or with ClickUp you're based on seats whereas with base camp if you have 10 people or 100 people or a thousand people it doesn't matter because you're going to be paying that 299 per month they do do freelance and startup um prices but it's just a different pricing model from what we typically seem so these guys are fairly opinionated on what they believe is productivity in a team and it's very very interesting the application sort of reminds me of an internet more than a project management tool but many many companies find it an effective way to manage their own tasks as well as the company's activities so thank you so much for stopping by who's this one best for it's probably best for smaller to mediumsized teams that want a different approach to their project management it can be any team it's probably quite an allrounder but probably be best suited for remote and asynchronous so if you're interested in a base camp you can find it below and as always you can find more tools over on toolfinder.co and explore more project management apps there thanks very much and I'll talk to you all very soon cheerio
