Spanish Numbers and Course Updates

Welcome back to the shortest video that we're going to have this whole semester. And this is just numbers 30 through 100. Sounds like a lot of numbers. It's like 10 numbers total. Okay, so we have 30. 30, 30. I don't know if you guys know this, but Starbucks has an extra large size called a 30. But they take that from the word for 30 from Italian. 30. Anytime you want to add to 30, say 30 y 1, 30 y 2, 30 y 3. Then we go down to cuarenta, cuarenta y uno, cuarenta y dos, cuarenta y tres, cincuenta, cincuenta y uno, cincuenta y dos, cincuenta y tres, sesenta, sesenta y seis, sesenta y siete, sesenta y ocho, setenta. So people have trouble with these two. Remember that six has an S, seven has a T. Setenta, setenta y uno, ochenta, ochenta y uno, ochenta y dos, ochenta y tres. uh noventa noventa uno noventa dos noventa tres and then we have cien for a hundred cien means a hundred but if you go above a hundred you change it to ciento so 101 i guess in english we should say hundred one even though i feel like i always say a hundred and one i don't know why i add an and in there a hundred one would be ciento uno so you would not say cien y uno no ciento uno ciento dos ciento tres ciento cuatro hundred forty one ciento 40 y 1. That's it. Easy. All right. I want you guys to pause the video and in your notes include these 10 math problems with the answers written out in Spanish. Okay. And then I will give you the answers. Just pause the video for a second. Do it. We'll come back to it. All right. Let's go through these. 15 más 15 son 30. 80 más 17 son 97. 77 menos 22 son 55. 60 menos 19 son 41. Sí. 59 más 6 son 66. I don't like math. This is not my cup of tea. 100 menos 25 son 75. 22 más 24 son 46. 16 más 36 son 52. Check me on that. I don't know if I'm even right there. 99 menos 10 son 89. Y 73 más 27 son 100. I think that's 100. 100. All right. That's it for this video, guys. Just memorize these numbers up to 100. You should be familiar with numbers up to 100. This is it. Chapter two is over. So this has been all of chapter two. Next week is a review. So you're going to have to go back through all these videos from the first half of the semester and begin to prepare for that midterm, which is in two weeks. So next week, I'll assign you your project. I will assign you your culture and a study guide. That's what you'll have to do. Your notes will be turning in the study guide next week. And then your midterms in two weeks, your midterm, you will have a week to do it. You'll have to do it anywhere in the world. You'll have to download lockdown browser. So you can't use a Chromebook. You can come to campus, do it on a campus computer. I think I'll have to check on how to get that done. But essentially. If you have like a Windows or a Mac with a webcam, it'll work. You can do it anywhere. And it's free. It doesn't charge. So we're not using Remote Proctor now. We're using Lockdown Browser, which is a free service. Anyway, there'll be more updates about that to come. For now, you're done. Turn in your notes. Study the vocab. Numbers. Study those verbs, ER verbs, IR verbs. You should go back and study those AR verbs as well. The uses of tener. A whole bunch of stuff for you guys to study. If you have questions, send me an email. Otherwise, I will see you in a few weeks because we won't have lecture videos next week.
