we're starting our week with a first order $77 for 2 miles it is going to be a long week it is going to be a marathon let's get this started and off to a great start right away an extra tip bringing our first order to $11.50 let's go second order the day $14 for 4 miles from Panera Bread unfortunately this one is too good to be true they told me someone else already picked it up and I only got the lousy $3 cancellation pay usually this means someone else stole the order which I don't know why because it was Panera bread pizza and it does not look delicious but when I got back in my car I got this door Dash far less exciting but since I was already here I went ahead and took it first hour only $20.50 not a good start although I thought it was going to be a good start I wasn't getting anything so I drove to Scottdale Arizona which is a more expensive area I wanted to get an order while I was on the highway to minimize the dead miles I was driving but it didn't happen so I settled for this $1 for 4M Walmart order that was a printer and this dog was annoying stop barking we got our next one it's the same Walmart so I have to drive 10 minutes back and it's not even that good we need a big dinner shift tonight cuz right now we are not doing good at all and this was very typical of rich people living in gated communities they don't give you the gate code and you have to call them to get it which is what happened here I got this chicken sandwich it was only like $3 from Walmart let's eat it right now and see if it's any good it's been so long cuz that drop off took forever and it's not even warm anymore but let's see it out of 10 our next door Dash came with a long wait especially for only $7 and here I am doing the classic door Dash driver stance if you know what I mean thankfully the dinner shift is almost here I got this one right here another Walmart spark and after this one we'll finally be hitting the dinner shift with food delivery Uber East and door Dash hopefully we get some big 20 $30 orders tonight let's go $22 double order 5 miles a clutch first order to start out the dinner shift to make it even better they both had extra tips for a quick $27 35 minutes which was a boost we definitely needed for our stats we knocked out a quick $16 for 9 M next and then we got this absolute Banger $35 for 9M Walmart order and right as things were going extremely well something extremely bad was about to happen oh my goodness guys I have been sitting here for 50 minutes and they finally come out and tell me that they do not have the order and I'm literally going to get $3 for I think it's almost been an hour now since I've accepted that order and it's in the middle of the dinner shift now we're not doing good luckily our next order is decent but watch this one have a bunch of problems too hey I don't want to be like up and but we just got it in our pranking screen it's going to be like a couple minutes we got order picked up and as you can see we got enough chicken here to feed all of Kentucky hopefully we comes with an extra tip that can make up for this terrible luck that we've been having today and that's what we got $22 22 minutes today's been a roller coaster so far but can we finish with decent averages this $8 for six isn't really helping all that much we got it done in 20 minutes and then we get a $9 for two we'll take that and then a quick $750 for 2 Mile going back to the same store followed by a $12 for four can we finish the shift strong I drove closer to the tourist area this one was $15 for four miles shopping order it was mostly candy and a couple of items were out of stock so the total dropped a $14.97 now that it's past 10 p.m. less orders are hitting my phone B I was able to finish the late night shift with some solid ones bro has a tennis court and you only TI $5 the customer added items while I was shopping for this $12 instaart bringing the total of $15 and my last two orders were both from Uber Eats $11 for four miles turns into $13 and then a quick $9 for $3 M to wrap up the shift today we made $241 10 hours and 45 minutes on low efficency icies I always aim for at least $25 an hour and $2 a mile and I hit 22 and $183 today let's see if we can do better tomorrow day number two all right guys we are starting the Saturday shift I'm starting a little bit later than I wanted to but it's all good we're planning to go all day I got my first order and we need to do better than yesterday I took this one because it said that both orders go to the same customer but door Dash lied it was the same apartment complex but different buildings but door Das capped door Das Capp 30 minutes to complete that order and it should have taken 20 at least this next order is good $13.50 for 7 miles and the one that I got after this was interesting to say the least he's got a $19 for 13m pizza order a lot of miles but we're going to take it at first I was thinking nice I could probably get this knocked out in 30 minutes especially since the order was ready when I got there they put their delivery address as an apartment near the mall not too bad until I read the delivery notes and found out they were in the mall and wanted me to drop it off to them there these people want me to drop off this pizza in a mall come on and this mall is not easy to find parking this was supposed to be a quick order now it's going to take at least 10 minutes to find these people we're going to have to park right here I don't I might get a parking ticket but we're about to just go as fast as we can deliver this pizza and now I got to carry this goofy bag to the entire mall and it was dropping off to a Tesla store I couldn't find it at first with all that factored in this order took a total of 57 minutes not worth it at all at least our next one is worth it $22 for 8 Miles seven items that I had to find not bad at all but our next order is absolutely insane let's go let's go let's go $43 Safeway I needed an order like this that is what I'm talking about let's see what bro got he got some popcorn oh I just dropped some we got some Ruffles we got some cheese we got this dog toy the drop off was to another annoying apartment to drop off to but it's okay because it's $43 and it looks like I'm on a Star Trek planet or something and an absolute insane extra tip $61 in an hour and 7 minutes we needed that all right guys it's been a little bit I have gotten absolutely nothing it's 3:00 right now so we're going to Camp outside of this Walmart $7 for 5 from 711 not preferable at all but it's the only order that I've seen in a while that's over a dollar per mile it took me an extra 10 minutes to find this this apartment because of the questional architectural design like why is the front door in the back corner of the building who designed this apartment fire him immediately but anyways thankfully we got a decent instaart right here $14 for our 0.7 miles this order contained alcohol which meant I had to find the customer to scan their ID and this one was another terrible drop off the GPS brought me to this 4way intersection with no additional instructions and the customer was not picking up the phone it turns out she was was giving a haircut and the only reason I found her is because her customer name was the same name as the salon you know like blank Salon or whatever and she was lucky I even thought of that all right we are taking this order bringing me more North I got to get out of this tourist area it is making me angry guys a this dinner shift hard let's see if we can get some dinner time bangers we're coming back to the same pizza restaurant for 14 for9 not bad but nothing amazing so far what I'm really looking for are those 20 to $30 double orders from expensive restaurants going to nice houses those are my favorite orders to deliver $23 for 9 m going to same customer seemed like a top tier Banger at first but True Food Kitchen hit me with a 20 minute wait causing me to take almost an hour to complete not as good as I thought it was going to be right now I'm in North Scottdale up in the mountains a fun area to deliver in and where I plan to deliver for the rest of the week lots of rich houses and big tips but on the downside there are lower quantity of orders here compared to some of the other higher populated areas of Phoenix that I've delivered to in the past all right guys so we got a 20 $6 instaart 21 items one mile since we're entering the late night hours is definitely worth it why is it so cold in here all right not my proudest shop took way longer than it should have they didn't have all the aisles labeled nicely like I like it I got a $15 one high mileage but let's do it we're continuing on the marathon is continuing bro walked up to me like he was a zombie I had to drive a decent ways back I wanted to go back up north to get some more orders and I did get this one orders are far and in between but they're not bad I mean $14 says I can get it done in a decent amount of time it's going knock out this Pizza [Music] Hut delivering late night definitely hits different luckily our last order of the day is going to be a double order from Jack In The Box and Absol absolutely late night Banger which is going to give us our first cash tip of the week guys we just got a fat stack of cash tip how much is this bro hand it to me I thought it was like a 100 bucks let's go count it right now we got $6 that's solid let's go this Jack in the Box double is definitely clutch all right guys so I think I'm going to wrap up my shift with that last Jack in the Box we're going to put our numbers on the screen right now it was an insanely up and down roller coaster day but we end up not doing too bad for a lot of you guys who follow the channel and been paying attention to Phoenix or know the area my my Airbnb that I was staying in is in Gilbert and if you noticed yesterday I ended my shift in North Scottsdale today I started it here that's because the Airbnb ran out so I'm homeless basically the plan was to make a lot of money and save money by just living in my car for a few days go visit family for Thanksgiving and then fly to Boston to film my door Dash Across America series all while not paying rent which I did check out that video series I posted it before I edited this one which is why it's so behind in time like I mentioned this work week took place in November all my stuff is in a storage unit so don't worry I'm not actually homeless I mean technically for these couple days I am but it's by choice to save money I can afford an apartment easily I'm just trying to figure out where I want to move to next because Phoenix is just okay to me I like Boston a lot better in fact I'm kind of considering moving back but you'll see what happens in future videos for now let's continue on with the Ride Along Marathon I went to the gym so I could used the shower and then headed over to Walmart to do my stealth camping it's in a rich area so that's a positive I don't have a crazy setup although tomorrow I will buy a whatever this is called I'm blanking on the name completely and it it's not too bad I just close my eyes the next thing you know it's the morning all right guys so we are now awake let's get this day started first order of business let's get an energy drink today is Sunday and this morning start off great I was doing easy breakfast orders dropping off to to expensive houses and we were rolling right out of the gate morale was high I was enjoying my nice energy drink and listening to YouTube videos while I was driving which is random but when you're driving for 12 plus hours a day you can turn into anything for entertainment as your music playlist tends to get old pretty fast all right guys so 2 hours in and we are already starting off way better than yesterday in fact 10:40 this is around the time that I started yesterday so we're definitely going to make more money today my goal is $400 minimum I got my next order p bread and we're continuing on about to start the lunch shift so we were doing good I don't know what happened it's 11:00 middle of the lunch shift right now and it completely died out we haven't done an order in about 15 minutes after declining orders for almost 15 to 20 minutes I randomly get this $18 for four double order from Uber Eats we will take that that'll help us recover from all that waste of time 1450 for 7 m dropping off to the rich area in the mountains hopefully there's an extra tip no extra tip on that drop off I got this crazy shopping order I decline I probably should have done it because given the high sub total it would have been there would have been a high chance of an extra tip I probably should have taken it but it's all good I took this one it's a little more safe that ended up being a mistake the pay was only $9 and it took 28 minutes for some reason and now I'm really wishing I took that shopping order especially since I'm in the 1 p.m. hour so when I saw this $39 for 6 Mile 28 items I took it without hesitation but it took me an embarrassingly long amount of time to complete I was getting hit with the midday tiredness losing focus like I said an embarrassing an hour and 36 minutes to complete and to make it worse items were out of stock so I received a few dollars less pay and we finished off the midday hours with a $5 for one and then a decent $16 for three Target shopping order and now it's 4:27 p.m. about to hit the dinner shift Fleming's Prime Prim Steakhouse and Wine Bar that sounds like money to me bro got that Prime Burger he got mac and cheese brussel sprouts and include utensils it's kind of funny walking into five-star restaurants and Crocs and look at this sunset this is definitely a nice area especially then the weather is nice like this I grabbed this GrubHub because the pickup is near the drop off for my Uber Eats with it being steak I was expecting an extra tip but I didn't get one a solid order regardless and the grub hub wasn't ready when I got there anyways meaning I was able to collect the $91 cents pretty quickly without having to make anyone wait longer than they should have $11 for 2 miles only one item which is printer ink that's an order that's worth it 100% of the time let's go $17 for four double order massive pizza order we are starting the dinner rush $20 for 8 Mile just picked it up massive chicken order and we're rolling right now drop off only 15 minutes away on the highway and we're doing great so far two amazing orders in a row and the third one is looking good too two until we ran into a problem that stopped our momentum in its tracks the Papa John's was insanely backed up and underst staff so we had to unassign it in the second half of the order was only $6 which left us with $625 minutes not very Cash Money my next two orders were decent a quick $10 for 7.8 Mi and then a 950 for 4.5 Mi until we ran into yet another issue all right guys so we got this crazy good Walmart order of course if you guys remember from early in this video I got another one like this and they didn't have it and the same thing happened here I got to the Walmart I I shouldn't have taken this order my gut was telling me not to and right as I got there I got this message Rider cancelled and I received $0 so that is about 20 minutes without pay obviously that's not good and it doesn't help that our next order is dropping off to an annoying apartment which took me another 5 to 10 minutes just to find the customer morale has definitely lowered ever since our string of bad luck so I finally get a good one of course the restaurant is closed things are not looking good 15 minutes later I get this $5 order which is kind of lame but at least our next one is surprisingly decent at this point I'm like dang I've been doing nothing but dashing for 3 days straight and living in my car it's late at night what am I doing but staying busy with orders is going to keep us pushing on sticking with our original plan to make a bag before the holidays but look at this couch that couch looks goofy they got a basketball court in this apartment they got a gym all right so we got a cash on delivery order this one is a $59 subtotal basically with these cash on delivery orders you get the base pay shown to you on screen and the extra change the customer decides to tip you in person the customer gave me $65 which meant the total I earned on this order was $10.60 which is worth it for 3 miles Pizza Hut proved to be a reliable restaurant to Camp outside of I found myself driving back to it a lot after dropping off orders here I get a 650 for 4 m miles not terrible for late night and then a $10 for 7 m from Phil Berto in which I ordered a burrito for myself I I'd give it like a 6 out of 10 at first I thought it was good but as I continued to eat it somehow it started to taste worse and worse and my last order of the day came from Pizza Hut yet again this one is bringing me right next to the gym I shower at so it's a perfect one to end the night on and today we made $353 16 hours and 15 minutes for a worst of the week hourly rate of $21.73 disappointing for a Sunday I knew I wasn't doing great but I still thought I'd end up at around $23 an hour at least all right guys we just got done using the gym for the shower and bathroom still accomplishing my goal of making a decent amount of money just not at the hourly rate that I wanted especially for the weekend the next couple days are going to be tough because it's going to be the week day let's go to bed all right guys day number four let's get this day started today was Monday November 20th and with Thanksgiving in 3 days I plan to rely heavily on Walmart spark and instacart to get me through the day is it probably was going to be busier than food delivery and I was right so far although it hasn't done much for me this week Walmart spark came in with a $314 mile 35 item shopping order starting the day at 9:50 a.m. and look at the door Dash map literally all of Phoenix was gray but we got really lucky and slipped in when it opened up for a split second all right guys it is a lunch hour and there are barely any orders we got this one we're definitely going to take for now $6 for one mile another order that we have no choice to do drop that order off to a business building and I take this $22 order 11 miles is risky though cuz I have no idea where it's dropping off luckily our first pickup is from a poke place and it's massive we got a decent amount of sushi so we need an extra tip now BR it's a Decepticon it's a Decepticon I arrived at the Pokey place and I don't know why I'm swinging a camera around like that and I I picked up the bag it's not as big as I thought but it's still a decent bag the second pickup was from Chick-fil-A dropped that one off to an apartment and the poke you drop off was to a business building we got a $7 extra tip on this one bringing up to $29 which we got done in 44 minutes definitely Solid 3 hours in I'll post on the screen how much I'm at right now and we're waiting for our next order our next order is $8 for four mediocre considering the roads are still busy at this time there a Monday and there's a weit at the restaurant but this add-on makes it much more worth it for a nice $17.33 minutes next we get a $7 for three from Veggie Mac Delight there was literally no one in sight when I finally found the employees they said it would be like a 25 minute wait why so we unassigned it and took this $9 Sushi order but it was all messed up because it said I was right next to the restaurant when it was really like 3 Mi away I wasn't adding all those miles to the order so I unassigned it as well and now so far we're doing terrible today door Dash turned gray all all apps were completely dead so it was a good time to get a nice meal I've been eating cheap fast food so this Hawaiian Barbecue was a nice treat very delicious although it was like $18 I was not very happy about that but it did smack so I guess it's worth it all right so we are back on the clock back into action and I was able to snipe an $111 one item instaart we just got to survive these next couple of hours until the dinner shift let's go Walmart spark coming in insanely clutch $41 to miles that is exactly what we needed definitely a large order we had to shop for and I always try to sneak past the door guard because I don't want to waste time showing them my order another good instaart these quick low item insta carts have been coming through in this area to make it better the customer added some items which added to my tip all right so we got our next double order from Shake Shack and if we have a good dinner shift then we can have a better day today on Monday than we did yesterday on a weekend let's get it and make it a triple we got a $7 add-on things are looking [Music] up next up is a $8 for5 that works perfectly with this $11 for3 dropping off right next to the pickup that's a quick $20 double combo and then a $16 for 1 mile Walgreens that's only a couple of items and this dinner shift is already going much better than yesterday all a bit of a wait until we finally got this one from Wing Stop all right we got a massive bag massive Mansion this got to be an extra tip there was no extra tip but still a good order $10 tip is pretty fair but we're pretty high up far away now from all the restaurants I had to take the $7 for six McDonald's which took a little longer than I wanted it to got our next one now hopefully it doesn't take as long as that McDonald's one did I'm not seeing any more big dinner rush orders so I do a basic $8 for four and then my first sprouts insta cart I've ever done I always see them but never any worth taking until now $11 for four items but it took me like 10 plus minutes to shop because it took me forever to find whatever the hell this is well $7 for one mile we will take that 4 days in to being homeless we're still pushing on the MC rib returns it's returned like 10 times $11 for 4 miles that's a good order and with with no traffic it's even better until I found out I was delivering to a c I called because there's no gate code and she had a mental breakdown and started getting angry at me because she didn't know how to gate code or how to open it she also freaked out when I started the phone call off with hello this is your door Das driver like I always do she thought a Pizza Hut delivery guy would come to her not a door Das driver so then she asked me if I quote unquote stuck my nails and put my hair in her Pizza I I don't know what she was saying I'm assuming it was because I was a door ass driver and not a official Pizza Hut driver so I said if she didn't want me to deliver it she's welcome to cancel it in fact I tried to talk her into it but of course she couldn't figure out how she got really mad and then came to the gate and rudely told me to open the door and hand her the food when she pulled up to me my last order was a quick $7 for three Jack In The Box and since it was Monday late night was looking dead from here on out we ended up finishing with a decent averages in terms of efficiency $38 12 hours and 15 minutes $25 an hour and well over $2 a mile tonight I slept in my back seat trying to figure out if I like it better than just leaning the front seat back it does not feel good not being able to stretch your legs out the entire night I'm not sure which one I like better all right guys day number five let's get it the birds are chirping the sky is blue uh what else this was my last day and I'm leaving tomorrow to go drive to visit some family for the holidays there's some errands I got to do so the plan was to knock out as many orders as I can during the morning time take care of business during the slow hours and then hit the diners shift hard so we were sitting here waiting for an order for a while but I got this massive Starbucks order and look how much coffee this is this person this person likes coffee I guess we drop off to a very rich house $20 for this one and it took a little bit over a half an hour so it was worth it but I had to drive back in my zone which made it a little bit less worth it I took this $10 for 9 M looking back I'm not sure why because it's it's kind of bad but luckily someone else already took the order which is okay cuz on door Das you get half pay instead of just $3 like Uber Eats but not until after the door Dash agent tried to get me to pressure the restaurant to remake the order for free which restaurants do not do and I got $7.75 was meant this was supposed to be a hidden tip order it all worked out better for me because this next Chipotle order was super quick and easy $13 and extra tip to for a 2 m trip we're always going to be happy with a trip like that all right guys so my errands ran a little bit longer than I wanted it to I got a haircut did some other stuff went to the gym so I could shower early and super I got I went to Super Cuts you know they they didn't even do anything and my hair looks the same but whatever who cares well we got an order right now we're going to knock out this dinner shift I have not worked a lot of hours today only three so I got to go until like 1 2 a.m. I want to put in at least 10 hours today we're falling behind but as you can see from our first three orders of the dinner shift we off to a good start and I will gladly take this next one too $19 for 11 Mi all highway miles and it's now 700 p.m. we are rolling right now with a $10 for four $112 for three shopping order only one item $16 Double Pizza order 9 miles $9 for five door Dash and then a $21 shopping order 12 items from Safeway all right that order took 15 more minutes that it should have cuz I was looking for the sweet potatoes and I couldn't find it but we got really lucky one right here $16 for 6.9 Mi bringing us back into our Zone and this one ended up being super good $23.23 minutes a dollar per minute $13.50 Pizza Hut order we're going to have to rely on Pizza Hut again for these late night hours hopefully we don't run into another Ken dang look at this hotel or apartment or something this is expensive [Music] [Applause] oh man this hallway is never ending we got another randomly super good late night door Dash $22 from BJs let's go there's a super long way at that restaurant cuz they had to remake one of the pizza cookies we dropped off the first one and as you can see the second one is 13 M West pretty far away on the highway the total ended up being $27 which I'm happy about but I had to drive all the way back because I wasn't getting anything that brought me back to the Walmart I sleep at which was a lot of dead miles but I decided that that was going to be my last order of the day and of the week so I didn't care all right guys so last day stealth camping but nevertheless let's take a look at the breakdown and then tomorrow we'll get out of here for a final day we made $250 10 hours for a solid hourly rate of $25 an hour but low efficiency on the dollar per mile I guess driving all those dead miles at the end lowered that but I didn't think it end up that low and in total for the week we made $1,518 36 and 5 days working a total of 63 hours and 15 minutes for an overall hourly rate of $24 and I drove a total of $882 mil for an average dollar per mile ratio of $1.72 a mile
