[Applause] amen everybody blessed this morning look at your neighbor so you look like someone who's blessed and you can be be seated uh it is such an honor to be here we had the privilege of meeting with your pastors last night for dinner what beautiful people beautiful vision and you guys are super blessed to have someone who loves you loves their community loves the state of washington and more than anything loves the world so uh blessed and thank you guys for the opportunity to be here also of course we met joe and sandy uh joe sent me a text if you know the story uh back in january and just said you know i'm from seattle washington can i come down and meet with you uh and uh really felt like he needed to get with me as the author of the armor bearer and at first you know gosh i get i get these i don't know who these people are so i was like sure whatever just come on down i'm thinking if you're gonna fly all the way from seattle i'll give you some time i mean let's face it so and it's on a saturday i'm thinking well it's my day off you know just all right but it's really funny so kim said to me said who are these people i said i have no clue these people are so anyway and they sat down with me for a few minutes and i was like okay who are you and why are you here but they begin to share their testimony and it was really beautiful and then of course my spirit connected with them and it's been a privilege over the past uh really a couple of months i've been on the phone with them and we were able to certify them to teach the armor bearer course uh it's really beautiful they flew back in august and what we do we've done this uh we used to do it quite a bit kim and i and meet with people and certify them and the way we anoint them and pray for them pray for them we have a beautiful sword and we unite them so we were able to knight them at our congregation and i'm telling you sweet people thank god for their spirit and for what god's put in their hearts you know we're in very very interesting days without it without a doubt everything that jesus said in in matthew 24 when he talks about the pandemics when he talks about the earthquakes when he talks about war rumors of war uh everything that he talks about an ethnic group rising against ethnic group and then he made the statement he said this is just the beginning this is the beginning the world system is destined to fall and so we all have to understand the season we are in and what is god saying the lord really began to stir up my heart probably about a year ago where i used to travel all the time teaching armored beer all across the country and really parts of the world and just this new um i don't even know what to call it but just a new anointing a new refreshing plus the urgency that the church must re-establish themselves in foundational truths because satan has done everything he can to destroy the local church in the last two years uh it's very interesting because of what barna research uh said barna says one out of every three people stopped coming to the church in this in the last two years and one out of every five churches have closed think about that anywhere from eighteen hundred to two thousand pastors are leaving the ministry every month so we're in a very critical time and we have to look at our lives and we have to understand welcome to the last days but in that thank god god called you to finish the race so what i pray more than anything is you teach what you know you impart who you are and i pray that the impartation of the armor bearer that you receive it from my heart and it goes deep in you these are the foundation of my roots and my wife kim kim stand up so blessed to have her in the service with me today she and i have been married 44 years we have three children and one grandchild little girl and her name is mercy so and we cry mercy mercy many times so but it's really she is a sweetheart you know the scripture if there's any scripture that is relevant for today is what god is saying out of the book of hebrews 10 25 this is not the time to pull away and neglect the meeting together as some have formed the habit of doing and you think about it a third one third of the church through the last two years has not come back think about that and the bible is making clear this scripture speaks to us that we're not to neglect the meeting as some have had made the habit of doing but in fact we should come together even more frequently eager to encourage and urge each other onward as we anticipate the day and the day is capitalized not just talking about one day it's talking about the day the day jesus puts his foot on this planet so the more and the closer and we all see this then we should do what we should even be together more connecting why is it because you cannot make it alone and we have got to have each other and the body of christ has got to connect and your part is valuable as every part when you look at the body as paul mentions in first corinthians chapter 12 and he talks about the bodily parts and he says the the eye cannot be any is not even more important than the ear and he goes down all the body body parts and he says the unseemly parts of the body seem to have more abundant honor and you may ask well what's the unseemly parts of the body now i heard kim teach on this and it was so good i took it and put it in the put in one of my books and took full credit for it but anyway it was really her revelation so i'll i'll let that be out there but the thing that the lord showed her is so true what are the uncomely parts of the body it's the heart the liver the gallbladder all these inward parts you never you know unless you're in the medical field i i never i've never heard somebody oh come check this liver that's the best looking liver i've ever seen it's the inward parts it's the parts you don't see i want you to listen to me i really believe the outward parts what we see in this physical body represents the fivefold ministry gifts it's the parts you see but what you don't see are the nursery workers that are working what you don't see are those out in the parking lot what you don't see are the people believe me who are here an hour and a half early securing this place getting the tv the production and every one of them are doing it and the majority and i know it like any other church they are volunteering and they're given their time and those are the parts you don't see but in the kingdom god bestows more abundant honor on the parts which lack so i want you to understand because we have we have uh when you look at the church we are so personality driven and sometimes we we're looking for the new personality behind the pulpit who who's the new individual that we can all just go oh did you hear him did you see him oh you know just you just people make up so much over it and you don't understand that stuff can get you an error quicker than anything and i do not believe that it is just going to be the personality yet god's going to use them believe me there will always be the apostle prophet evangelist pastor and teacher there always be the these gifts that are platform gifts that god uses in his governmental office but in these last days it is not just going to be someone behind the pulpit it is going to be people in the marketplace fulfilling your gift and calling and doing an apostolic ministry right in your workplace you know you don't have to crave and when you get around young ministers and all they're always it just happens it comes natural they're they crave a pulpit they just i gotta have a pulpit i gotta have a microphone honey you got a microphone you've got to pull it take take it on the bus take it out to the ferry take it wherever you go take it in walmart y'all do have walmart you know that's that's arkansas y'all got that okay you know do whatever you do use your gift god is stirring up the gifts again and it is a last day stirring because listen mercy always comes before judgment it always comes before judgment i love the study of the revivals and all but you study the revivals and you you understand in the 1700s and 1735 when the first great awakening hit it came right before the war of independence then you see the next great awakening comes before the civil war you see the next great i mean move of god in the 1900s comes before war one you just mark it down there's always mercy before judgment and so people who are sitting around thinking that god is judging america for its sin i'm telling you you're an error forget that god is ready to show mercy everything that jesus did and what an intercessor really is jesus as the head intercessor reached out took the hand of the world and reached up to his father and threw himself brought us together through his blood in the same way what are we doing we are reaching out to the city of seattle you are reaching out to the state of washington and you are the intercessor you're reaching to the hurting and to the lost you don't want judgment you want mercy and you pull them and you pull the hand of god and together they come through your prayer your heart your your compassion for the loss dear lord i mean it's time it's time for harvest this is what god's doing it's not time to get in a hole and hide from everything that's going on and so many people are fear driven because of what's happening i'm telling you god is doing a great and incredible thing i believe so strong right now in the revelation of the armor bearer now the lord uh these these are the books unfortunately i had more books that were supposed to be here and they didn't make it but the the first book is god's armor bearer and this is one and two and it really gives you the revelation of the armor bear and then this this really i'm going to kind of teach in and out of both of them but this one which is called running with your pastor's vision is so important there is a vision of the house and i'll talk about that in just a minute father thank you oh for the anointing in this house i pray holy spirit for the body i pray everyone their their spirit god you're connecting with their spirit to move them in their place and father bringing them under spiritual authority so that they can flow under the grace and the anointing to god and what you've called them to do and bless this church bless this church with overflowing people of helpers and those who are touching and ministering to people and we just give you praise for it in jesus name now what is god what is god saying to the church what is the heart in the spirit of an armor bearer i want you to go over real quickly i'm going to go through some scriptures here acts chapter 4 verse 29 through 32 and then i'm going to share really and share my story my testimony really kim and i really the the heart what god's used us to do uh in the earth now lord look on their threats and grant to your servants that with all boldness they may speak your word stretch out your hand to heal and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of the holy servant jesus now they were being persecuted there's acts chapter 4 acts chapter 2 they were baptized in the holy ghost they did signs and wonders i mean the thing was starting to open up thousands were getting saved the pharisees were so upset about it they pulled the apostles they beat them and they said do not preach in that name you can go preach any other by any other name don't preach in that guy's name there's just he he's causing conflict well of course they weren't going to listen to that but here they joined together and they said now father here it is look on their threats we want you to give us boldness and we want to we want you to confirm your word heal the sick stretch forth your hand what an incredible scripture to put in our generation in our world today we want you father to stretch your hand in seattle you heal do signs and wonders that literally shake the foundation and this is not a california earthquake this is a holy ghost earthquake and so what happened when they prayed now this is what's so miraculous and when they prayed the place where they were assembled assembled together it was all shaken and they all were filled with the holy ghost now wait a minute didn't they get filled with the holy ghost in acts 2 yes what happened in acts 4 it was an overflowing of that spirit you can stay continually we are to stay continually filled and overflowing how do your belly should flow what rivers of of living water it's in you let's uncap it and and release it i sat one day and i looked at that and the whole house shook the house literally shook that's new testament that's no that's not old testament i've been in services where oh my gosh people were basically crawling out of church because the anointing was so strong it's just the manifestation of the presence and his spirit people weeping and crying people getting delivered it was just the the beautiful presence of god and we were just miraculously changed by these supernatural encounters but i've never witnessed a a time of acts chapter 4 where not only were they filled with the holy ghost that the whole house literally began to shake and that's new testament and that tells us what to shoot for that tells us what we can believe for and trust god so i sat there one day and i said now father i know this is it this is what i desire it's what so many churches need it's what america needs and i'm like how do we get to that place and the minute i asked that just in here i heard keep reading and it says in verse 32 and here is the answer now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul everybody say one heart and one soul look at your neighbor and say one heart and one soul now there is a difference between being of one heart and one soul one heart means we're connected because we are members of the body of christ and this is my first time in new horizons church but how how many know we're family we are family even though i'm from arkansas you know we're family uh and i said this in the first service but you guys know that arkansas is the only state mentioned in the bible noah looked out the ark and saw so i come from a blessed state and it's great i'm just telling you so kim and i are pulling down on a ferry at anderson island now number one you don't have fairies in arkansas you know you don't see fairies on arkansas unless you turn on the disney channel that i mean that's just that's about as far as it goes so i mean and i'm i'm looking at it and i'm thinking why are these cars in line forget it just go down to the boat you know so we just drove right down to the boat of course the guy was running after the back of my car beating on it and he's beaten on the window and and i wrote it down and he's just like what are you doing and i said i'm from arkansas and he just burst out laughing he goes oh that explains it all you know so anyway they love us at the ferry you know we y'all live by your rules and people from arkansas live by theirs so anyway it's a great excuse you're you're welcome to use it so one heart and one one soul one heart means we're connected because we're members of the body of christ and in the local church one soul is different and this is what the holy spirit wants for today and let me illustrate this pastor if you'll join me again up here and i want him to stand right here behind the uh the little table here which is the pulpit and do what he does on sunday morning but this is what this is what people do this is one heart and here we are in the local church we come in and we go oh pastor we love you you're the greatest preacher in the world i tell you and we're behind you then we get over here hey pastor we're behind you then we get way over here hey pastor we're way behind you some people are so far behind their pastor they don't even know who their pastor is now you can look at your neighbor and say i know he's not talking about you okay so no condemnation in this place all right everybody got this now see it's not it doesn't take much to be one heart but one heart and one soul is different and this is where god is moving the church that we come up here and we go pastor excuse me pastor we're no longer behind you but we are with you [Music] every one of you have a gift you have a call and you're part of the body now there are governmental offices that god has set up in the church apostle prophet evangelist pastor and teacher you can you can see it on your hand the the thumb is the apostle because he can touch every other finger the this index is the prophet why because he's always pointing and then you got the middle finger which is the evangelist he reaches further to the lost then you've got right here the ring finger which is the pastor because he wears a special crown the little finger is the teacher why is that he's the only one who can fit in your ear so y'all got that so simple and you will never forget it you may forget everything i preached which that guy really said something really cool about those five fingers okay but here's the point this is the visionary he and his wife are the visionaries god speaks the vision the vision from him and his wife are communicated to the congregation then as i am a part of that congregation i come alongside not behind but with my gifts and my calling and you know what that we complete each other totally understanding spiritual authority accountability understanding the office that god's called him into but when i began to give myself in that place for his for the vision of the house then everything that you have in you you watch god will bring it to pass and that is that heart and soul because when they prayed they prayed heart and soul and god shook the house you want to start shaking the places around here you get in unity you get connected and you start doing your part amen thank you pastor all right this is number one and the spirit in the heart of an army bearer we've got to connect heart and soul the second point which is so important when you understand what an armor bearer is and i'll i'll tell you when when i wrote the book it was interesting because i mean i've got it's gone all over the world i'm very thankful it's very humbled by it but uh i would get some people who would call or write me a a thing challenging me on different things you always you always have that but i i did actually take a phone call and this guy called me and secretary told me and he's got a real problem with your book i laughed i said put him on so i i i talked to him i said okay what's your problem he said well you're just taking an old testament office and you're making it new testament i said no you're missing the whole point read what i'm saying the armor bearer is not an office it is an attitude it is the heart of the servant you find it all the way through our jesus was a servant he was a servant leader let this mind be in you which was also in christ jesus who thought it not robbery to be equal with god but made himself of no reputation took on the form of a servant came in the likeness of men he humbled himself and became obedient to death even the death of the cross there are three uh three revelations that release the kingdom of god in our lives humility submission and obedience and because jesus walked in that god highly exalted him when you are moving in the realm of the kingdom you are not worried about promotion because god is the one who promotes because you understand it only comes through those and i'm telling you about the test of leadership and the test of walking with god and the kingdom pass the test the first time because if you don't pass it and your attitude and you get over uh rebellion or you get offended or you get this or you get you know you get your nose up all a joint you know when i when i'm teaching the army bear i take time for just a minute you know what an uh airplane of course you have the altitude is is its height but the attitude of the airplane is the level it's that bubble that the plane flies at and the pilot knows as long as that bubble's in the middle then the attitude of that airplane is level but if the pilot pulls that nose up then the the strength of the wind and and the he can have full thrust of the engine but it's going to slow that plane down and if he pulls it up further it's going to slow it down he can pull it up straight up and guess what happens it goes into a stall and can i tell you what happens in the body of christ we get our nose up is what happens well bless god i don't like what the pastor preached he's just trying to make me do that and what happens you don't even understand and i don't like the rules of the nursery i mean it's just the complaining and here's what it is and i can't tell you how many times i've counseled people and they say badger dairy i don't understand what's happening in my life i feel the anointing i said yes the thrust is still there but you have got your nose up and as a result your life is in a stall so we have to keep the attitude correct we have to keep our hearts right there is no perfect church y'all know that it's like the guy they found on a deserted island and he had three he'd built three buildings and and they've been years and so they find this guy and they go well what's the first building he said oh that's my house and they said well what's the second building he goes oh that's my church and i said well what's the third building he goes i can't talk about it is what do you mean you can't talk about it that's it's too hurtful he said what do you mean you got your house you got church what's the third building finally he said well that's the church i used to go to you know and things are a little rough when you can't even get along with yourself so so many people we miss out we don't understand authority we miss out what what humility is and we also don't understand that leaders are human they are they're human i'm just telling you and i'll i may touch on that tonight with all the the team but it was the greatest revelation god ever gave me to help me follow kim and i were in the church for 23 years and that's where the army bear came out of but my pastor's name was happy can i tell you happy was not always happy but the office the authority is on the office not on the individual and you understand that and you flow with the office and the lord really helped him and i to to see that especially as an associate so that we could flow with them now we are called with a divine call to serve we are to when g when paul said let this mind be in you does everybody know that's not a suggestion no you don't get to decide on that that is a commandment uh in the kingdom to go up you've got to go down to be first you've got to be last to be the greatest you have to be the servant it's a backwards kingdom and until we are promoted in our ministry you're going to be tested in all of these areas because the holy spirit i had somebody say this you have to understand it's from arkansas but this guy said you know uh there are two there are two horses that pull our spiritual wagon i said okay what are they he said number one is your gifts he said but number two is your character and if you don't have the both you will not fulfill and jesus himself said some will stand before me and say did i not cast devils out in your name did not do miracles in your name and jesus said depart from me you work of iniquity you never knew me so which is more important your character your gifting yes you've got to release your gift but you have to maintain in these last days we have to walk in the purity of god and the purity of the holy spirit if you if you've noticed and of course i was raised in the assemblies of god and i mean they preached hell hot and it was hard to get to heaven so uh really it was more about the fear walking in fear that's not the way the grace of god is he loves us but the thing about the holy spirit his name is holy and you know righteousness is legal but holiness is something you progress in i'm righteous but holiness is something that i walk out every day in in life in the purity of the holy spirit so that he can flow through me in the gifts and plus help me stay humble before him recognizing who he is and it's all about him it's not about me and when he shines and does something you praise god and you realize my lord he did it it's not me so you you're able to understand now let me just share with you the story of the armor barracks i'll move on quick here i went to work kim and i uh we were married we we were in rhema bible training center i had graduated from assembly god school and we went to brother hagin's school for one year the lord directed us and really by divine appointment is really amazing we ended up in arkansas that's where i was born and raised and i was in dallas into tulsa and then back to arkansas and the church was just two weeks old and so we started the church and uh we had a real call of missions in our life uh the lord spoke to me when i was in bible school walking in a field just praying praying proverbs three verse five and six trust in the lord with all your heart lean not you don't understand all your ways acknowledge him he'll direct your past my dad was a shoe salesman i had no connections i had zero and so all all i knew is that i had a call in my life and i started getting up at 5 30 every morning and i walk outside our apartment we we were just married and i was praying i was just saying father i thank you your will be done and i remember after about two weeks all of a sudden and this is how the holy spirit does when you get intimate with him you're going to get pregnant you will get pregnant with the with the dream that's in your heart and i was standing in that field and i looked on these weeds and the whole field took on faces i saw black faces white faces red faces brown faces yellow i saw all the nations of the world here i am as 21 years old standing out there with my bible the anointing of the holy spirit hit me i started preaching up and down that field i'm telling you i preached for 30 40 minutes when i got finished gave an altar call and had thousands get saved i'm just telling you and i came in and i told him you're not going to believe what just happened you and i are going to the nations there's no way that was possible but within five years i was traveling all over the world it's the most incredible divine thing that god did in our lives and we started a mission school and i remember we graduated our first class and we put seven families on the mission field and and we had we had i had come back from europe and we were just sitting and we were talking about oh my gosh we're in our mid-20s look what god has done and we were thanking the lord and the more we we just sat and praised god the stronger i felt the presence of god almost heavy it was just heavy to the point that i told her i said kim i got to go pray i don't know what this is and i went and i sat down i had my bible i sat down in my living room and in my chair and i just said lord you know what is this what what are you saying and i heard in my heart go read the story of david and saul so i turned in my bible and started in first samuel 14 and i began to read through the life of david and the life of saul and i come down to first samuel 16 21 so david came to saul and he stood before him and he loved him greatly and he became his armor bearer now i had read the bible through had to do it in college but i had never seen the word armor bearer and at that time it's like it lifted off and you know that's the way the holy spirit does you when when there's revelation that's about to change your course but to change your life and it's because you've given the will of god and the will of god to him that you're going to fulfill it it's not difficult just say father your will be done that's it he'll lead he takes over and and i looked at that and i heard i want you to be your pastor's armor bearer and i wrote it down be your pastor's armor bearer then i said what's an armor bearer i've never seen that in the bible and i didn't even realize i'd already read about jonathan and his armor bearer in samuel 14 verse 7 14. so i flipped back over there and i started reading and all of a sudden the reality of it hit david was saul's armor bearer one of the reasons why david would never touch saul even though he had an opportunity to do so he could have killed him but he would not touch that spiritual authority because he was his armor bearer and an armor bearer literally provided and carried the the weapons and the shield for the leader and the way the jews fought during those days they always had an armor bear just like goliath had an armor bear read it they had a shield bearer that's what they were and they held that shield out so when the air when the enemy would fire arrows they would hold that shield and protect them can you imagine what would happen in the body of christ when we'd quit complaining and all this stuff where our leadership is concerned or whatever and begin to hold each other's shield and say enough of this no us protect each other and god began to show that to me and so i'm sitting there i'm going and he said i want you to be his armor bearer and then and he said to me he said i want you to lay down your vision and you're to take up the vision of the house that's the first time i heard that term you take up the vision of the house run with it terry i'll see to it you have to worry about yours i'll take care of yours now you would think i'd be jumping and shouting oh hallelujah great revelation i wasn't i fell in the floor and you know what i said wait just a minute what about my dream what about my vision in the field that day long before i ever met the pastor and he said to me if you'll lay down your dr lay down your vision terry take up take up vision of the house you watch what'll happen what you make happen for someone else god makes happen for you that is the law of the kingdom and the lord said something to me i'll never forget he said besides that i'm not asking you to do anything i didn't do myself i came down from my father laid down my will and desire to take up my father's dream and didn't god highly exalt jesus christ it is the spirit and the heart of the armor bearer that god is looking for know real quickly when when you think of servanthood and of course you you read the story of elijah and elisha and especially elisha and you see the double portion it is a wonderful story when you really get into the heart of it because you know in the charismatic pentecostal circus oh my oh my lord we can preach on the double portion oh shikha mosha shanda tallahassee i'm telling you we can preach on the double portion everybody want a double portion the whole church will be filled people lined up because everybody wants a double portion problem is nobody really knows how to get it but when you understand the life of elisha when you understand the way this story really went god speaks to elijah and he tells him in first kings 19 16 he said you will anoint jehu the son of nemtshi as king over israel then you're going to go find elijah the son of shafat and you're going to anoint him as prophet in your place everybody say prophet man powerful prophet you're going to anoint him as prophet in your place now immediately we think oh wow elisha i'm going to hang with that dude he is going to be the oh he's going to be twice the anointing of elijah he's just going to do all this it's going to be the most incredible thing oh my gosh uh he's going to be doing the pre-services he'll probably do the 10 o'clock eli she'll do the seven and elijah and i mean it's just going to be wonderful all of a sudden just you know he's going to outshine elijah now that's the way the american mentality thinks but i want you to see what really happened elijah being obedient i'll just tell the story here and i'm gonna come to the the scripture in verse 21 elijah goes finds elisha and he throws his mantle on him two things he did not go to a son of the prophet he found a young man a farmer's boy out being faithful with what he had to do there are giftings and callings sitting out in this congregation and you may not have been in ministry you may not know all about eschatology god help you you know you may not know all the theology oh my lord theology and that uh in that just such this deep term it's just simple simple study in the nature of god so get over it it's not that tough but we make it so super spiritual i'm a theologian god bless you you know uh and we make that so much out there but here was elisha god overlooked the sons of the prophets he said go anoint elisha and he goes and throws his mantle now we don't catch that because that mantle in in the hebrew that was a sign of adoption that is why elisha cut it was cut off from his family he went and kissed him and said later killed everything left it all because of adoption i want you to hear something and i want you to get this i wrote a new book within the last year and i wrote it to this next generation and i got i grabbed a bunch of millennials together to help me write it because i really wanted to be able to communicate with them sometimes they see the book the armor bears like you're just trying to make me do something and they'll thought they will they'll throw it right back in your face and here's the thing about the generation below us and my generation we want to be honored they want to be heard they do they want a voice and so we have to communicate in a different level we do it has to be based on relationship i want to tell you how the holy spirit's going to move in these last days i said as i was writing that book and i had been doing a study on the generations the greatest generation you've got silent generation you've got the baby boomers you you've got generation x the millennials and generation z and i had all the characteristics of all of them to help us as leaders to understand the different people that we are ministering to and of course you've got some great writers that already written about it but i was trying to look at it from a spiritual perspective but then finally i got frustrated and i just said lord where is that in the bible where is that i'm a generation x well i'm a z well what does that have to do with it i'm like i don't get it why is that so important and and is it in the bible is it in the scriptures and in here i heard read acts chapter 2 and i turned over and i began to read in the last days listen to me i will pour out my spirit on all flesh your sons and your daughters shall prophesy your young men will see visions and your old men will dream dreams and the lord said to me i only have three teams in each generation the prophetic team the vision team and the dream team the prophetic team is 25 years and under the vision team is 25 years all the way to about 55 almost to 60 and then the 60 year olds and i want everyone listen to me if you're old over 60. you have the right to retire but you do not have the right to stop dreaming god needs your input as spiritual fathers and mothers to sow into the millennials in generation z they are starving for fathers they are dying for fathers in arkansas alone arkansas alone out of every two children right now that is born one goes into a single family home the father is history in america that is why god said to uh i will pour out the spirit of elijah and he's going to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the children to the fathers are y'all getting this every one of you are going to be used in these last days pastor terry god's going to raise up the millennials absolutely it's time for them to start having vision get the vision from god and start running with it our children should be prophesying the words of the kingdom and the words of god but our elderly and the word old men is not old old like we said old man no it's the elders the elders the elders in the body have got to dream continue to share the dreams of god the life of god and it's all coming together in these last days and i'm going to tell you it's in the foundation of the armor bearer i'll close this out real quick i'll just tell this real fast god speaks to me after 10 years of working in that ministry and says take take the revelation put in a book and i put it in the book but the very first thing i ever did with my pastor when i first got there he called me in his office and said what are your what are your talents and i thought oh my lord i just got here they're not paying me nothing i'm gonna get fired i don't have any talents i don't know what you're talking about and i said all i can say i'll be faithful loyal i promise you'll never be late i met him at the church on sunday we opened the door and we got finished and i just looked at him and i said pastor he said yes i said you know we've set up everything i said just give me the key you don't need to be down here you go get into prayer i'll open this building he looked at me batted his eyes handed me the key and never asked for it back we built the building and that's all kim and i did what do you need done you know i don't play guitar i don't sing you know mama says i can sing but mama says everybody can sing i but i know my gifts and i know what i can do and all we did was serve and then god says write a book call it god's army bear you know what i said to him i'm no author you got the wrong guy do you remember miss davis my english teacher she didn't like me and he said no do it and i did it by faith wrote it the miracle started happening it got printed 10 000 copies got printed and all of a sudden next thing i know the guy in the back room who ran all the stock work called me and said terry man you're not going to believe this we just sold 100 of your books we then he called me hey we sold 200. we just got a 300 order we had a 500 order we just got a thousand book order and then he calls me he said td jakes just ordered 5 000 books i love t.d jakes i mean we were overwhelmed i looked and said you got to be kidding and people have asked me well what what i mean how did god exalt it how did god do it where did it all start i'll tell you where it started i had somebody ask me what is your key what is your kiosk it's real simple just went to my pastor i asked for his key he didn't see an angel gabriel didn't appear to me you know didn't have a dream didn't have a prophetic word [Music] no goosebumps nothing just looked around well you know i can't i can't sing i can't do that i can open a freaking door give me the key and people are just waiting i'm just waiting for god to just exalt just you know just caught up in the spirit like honey go find something to do become an elisha serving elijah and then elijah asks elisha what do you want god will ask you what do you want stand up with me hallelujah thank you jesus did y'all
