Alright chat, we are 30 seconds away from the banner, do we get a new grand? Do we get a new grand? Let's see, let's see, I'm excited. This is uh, it's one of those scary banners right before anniversary.
15 seconds. 10 seconds 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 0 refresh i see sukuyomi you'll fire in uv sukuyomi dark are you great you grand Okay, all right, a curveball out of nowhere. Um, all right, Yule Grand, huh? I see. All right, Tsukuyomi Grand, uh, out of here.
Here we go, all right, Yule animation, that's- that's really cool with the foxes. Oh my god, look at her outfit. All right, what's the weapon?
We're gonna look at- Sennen Goji. It is a katana. Massive fire damage to a foe, remove one buff, boost to MC's dodge rate.
Oki is interesting. Dispel is sort of the unuseful thing. Supplement fire allies skill damage. Wait.
So this is the beak mod. Blaze does not get boosted, right chat? Fire allies ignore...
Oh boy. What the fuck is this? Fire allies ignore a big percentage of foes defense small boost to attack Okay Well, we need numbers We need numbers, but that's a new skill Booster fire allies skill cap amplify skill damage boost the specs when either wait what?
Wait, we just have sagacity on a weapon. Surely the numbers are lower Wait, this is a grid weapon chat. I remember a couple days ago where we were like, hey, we're done with grid weapons for now, we're gonna get main hand weapons. But this is a grid weapon.
Um, hmm. Alright, so, I'm gonna assume, let's just pretend that this is a 2 of in the group, because this mod, a spectacle is new as well I think, because like beak is something else, let's have a look. This is covenant, yeah, so like this is covenant.
Ah. But for now, let's just assume. Is it the same as Agonize?
Okay, I hope it's the same. Is it the same as Agonize? It is.
Okay, so you need two to cap out the sub, right? So I'm expecting this to also require two, and it's not... I mean, okay, here's the thing though, right? I would expect this to not stack with Stagacity.
Do we know... oh my god, there's so many questions here. Where's my sagacity?
Yeah, okay, so this is Zeff Zeff So on double zeff one sagacity Skill cap special. Oh my god, the number's not yellow Skill amp special, okay. The number is, that means it can go higher.
The number is yellow if you cap out the bonus, right? But this number is not yellow, and this is from Sagacity, so you can probably do two of them. So, my expectation at the moment, just without knowing too much, but just, you know, educated guess, you need two for this, you probably need two to cap out this bonus.
And then we have no idea for this. Yeah, this is boostable. These two are not boostable, but this is boostable.
Inferno is boostable. Ignore defense. Ignore defense is another way of saying higher raw, right? Essentially.
Ignore defense is essentially higher attack, but... I have to look at the math a little bit differently. We have to because it's a little bit different.
Yeah it's Yule. All right let's look at the character. Let's look at the character. All right. Uh Katana Heart balanced.
Massive fire damage to a foe. Hit to fire defense stackable. Supplemental damage to Yule stackable.
While Crimson Dance Cure is in effect activates twice. Double Ogi. Debuff and buff, okay. Two hit fire damage to foe, remove one buff, fox flame.
Raise singed or singed character as well. Okay, dispel here fox flame, which is the same as before in singed. um two debuffs there perform crimson dance chin upon six combined fire oh she's an og character upon chat we were talking about how fine needs og characters oh boy all right open upon six combined fire chain bursts or cast a triple attack after use skill changes to crimson dance yaku copy recast at the end of the turn restore fire allies hp one turn cut to debuff durations upon reaching level six second slot skill changes cooldown ends Okay, so it goes up whenever she triples or you chain burst and you need six and then it changes to this Cast that dodges all attacks from foes attack twice each turn.
How many turns? One turn Okay, one turn double strike and this is only for Yule and then after six it changes to Crimson Dense Cure Which is this. Attack three times each turn One turn.
A one turn. Okay, so it stacks up essentially, right? It's a buff that starts with Restore Fire Allies HP, it's a permanent buff by the way, and one turn cut to debuff durations. So permanent defensive buff into activate Fox Flame Familiars after normal attacks, an auto nuke added on top, which then eventually changes into Bonus 5 damage, supplement crit, and then at the end of the turn restore HP, cut duration, and then do this.
Yeah, okay. And that is this one, which is the Dispel. I think the big stage here is this one, because you activate this after normal. This is obviously good as well, don't get me wrong.
How many turns would it take to get to this? It says you get it... when new triple attacks.
That implies you can get multiple per turn. The chainbusters obviously only one per turn. Okay, let's move on for now. Three hit flurry effect to cast a one time attack without using up a turn. Okay, self-tag team.
Orcrims and Dance can recast once each turn it is cast. Oh, okay. She does a lot of damage.
Yeah, I think the question is going to be how quickly you get your... Because you still need six, right? You need six for each one.
It probably takes a while to get to this. Anyways, next. Amplify all fire allies damage against foes with fox flame.
What? Uh, does that stack? I think that stacks. Boost to multi-attack rate, boost to dodge rate against foes with Fox Flame.
I'm, for now, I'm assuming this stacks with Seraphic. While Crimson Dance, Gyor is an effect, boost to fire allies' crit hit rate and damage cap. Okay, so this is the same as Nauru, but the difference is that you require the final dance.
Yeah, I think the big question right now is how long it takes to get up in this dance hierarchy. And some numbers. We need some number values as well.
Ummm, not Gyo, it's just the second dance. Oh, is it not? While Crimson Dance, Gyo is in effect. No, this is the last dance, right?
Yeah, Gyori is the third dance, yeah. I think I missed your first comment, my bad. But yeah, either way. So you need to get to the third dance to get this, to get the double thing here, and then to recast this once per turn as well. I think this character really comes down to how quickly you get this.
and that will determine whether it's more full auto character or whether it can be used in other applications. It's hard to sort of like theorycraft how quickly this goes, at least in my head at the moment. We'll have to see. I think that obviously the bigger thing about the character at the moment is the weapon, and this entirely depends on numbers. I think, okay, playing slight devil's advocate, buy ally, ignore a big percentage of foe's defense is...
it's obviously good. And I think the big thing here is that this is going to be a different modifier from normal attack or omega attack or whatever EX attack in your grid because like you can only fit in so much normal attack before you start getting diminishing returns. Ignoring the foe's defense is essentially another attack.
attack modifier right because you do more damage against the enemy but since it is a unique mod unique quote-unquote it probably fits into the like the weapon the damage formula a little bit differently in that it is much more valuable than just adding another stamina mod as an example, right? Probably. So I think that's where this will be useful, but whether this beats out like, let's just pretend, Ixaba or something, we have to we have to see. It really depends on numbers.
I honestly think as of right now that this weapon's mostly used as like a ball and a replacement, then a burst weapon. But it entirely depends on this number, because this is the first time we've gone in this mod. don't know can it go negative we don't know anything we don't know anything ignore to me implies that it won't go negative ignore to me implies that if they have 10 defense it they ignore 50 of it let's pretend so it goes down to 50 or like five defense sorry um that that's how i read it but again like we we need numbers we need numbers we need numbers you Alright, let's look at Sukuyomi first. Um, next. A weapon, Nightgaze Gate.
Sentence, Garrison, nothing too special there. Sukuyomi, Healing Staff character. Moon-Blessed, Lightfall.
Massive Dark damage to a foe, restore Dark allies HP, remove one debuff, one turn cut to beacon in the Knight's Cooldown. Okay. Clear, heal, lower cooldown. Pretty good.
Three hit dark damage to all foes, Oblivion Crest. Ooh, Crest character. Crest character is significant because we got Lobelia recently too. Okay. So, Crest to everybody.
30% boost to cast as charge bar. When night view level is 7, can recast once each turn it is cast. Okay.
So it's a skill nuke that gives everybody charge bar and a crest, and you can recast it later on. Refresh effect to dark allies, boost the multi-attack rate, uplift effect, additional effect from the second cast, which is shield and dispel. I wonder how much shield it is. But this one gets its cooldown cut upon this.
It is a large cooldown, probably 11 turns once you upgrade it, but yeah. Moonlight Blessing. Charge bar's just for her. Oh okay, Moonlight Blessing effect and auto revive effect to Dark allies, interesting. Okay, CA sub damage taken reduced, one turn cut to debuff durations can't be removed, it's a permanent buff as well.
One in effect, that just explained what it does. can only be used when night view is level seven how do we get night view when an ally casts a skill that grants crests restore everybody's hp 10% boost to charge bar and raise night view okay so there it is um so right now this is really mana diver magisa that's about it right the belliot doesn't give crest to everybody right it's only to himself Let me double check. I'm pretty sure Lebelia is only to himself. Oh is Lebelia to everybody?
Caster gains one crest. Did chat lie to me? Okay this I'm not I'm not including this one chat because this doesn't count for the passive.
Labilia does not grant crest to an ally. Her passive just says grants the- Alright, let's read it again. When an ally casts a skill that grants an oblivion crest.
Yes, from wording alone this would apply when Libelia gives a crest to himself. That opens up a lot more characters, to be honest, because... Like, even Magisa has skills that give herself crests and Hekate as well, right? But they don't give it to the party. Okay, alright, alright.
You get one every time that happens based on an IV level, boost or attack defense, CA specs, special CA cap as well. Boosted Dark Allies charge bar game based on Oblivion Crests 2. Okay. Your weapon numbers are out.
Uhhhh... tweet please. At skill level 15 it's 2% and even if you stretch one as far as you can it's only 11.8 which is not the upper limit.
So this is double Agni I think. 490%. Third skill is 15 to 30, 5 to 10. Okay. I see this screenshot as well. This is just two.
So this is with Exalter here. Yeah, so you cap with 2, chat. I was right earlier. So this value, hold up.
Let me go back to my grids. So this is, no, that's a crit, sorry. This is the skill sup, I think.
This is one of them. I can't tell the colors. No, this is skill special. Okay, so this is skill cap special.
This goes up to 60 So normally you get 30 from a sagacity opus, but this is 60 now. This is the sup and then this is the special cap I believe no, this is special cap. This is an yes this is skill lamp okay okay skill lamp skill sup skill special cap that's what it is so special cap 60 20k sup and then this is with two weapons and presumably double-sided um okay And then yeah, here's the armor pen and the thing is the armor pen is um 23.6. I completely forgot to look at this.
So our pen 23.6 on Presumably once again double-sided did they say what that is there double-sided 250 okay so double-sided with three exalted this is like you would never do three exalted double-sided or at least you rarely do that 23.6 so if this is against let's pretend nm what are we looking at let's say this is nm 150 which is 25 defense which is like the highest content we go 25 and then how much did this lower it by sorry 23.6% 25 times 23.6 so it's lowering it by six defense so 19 it's it you get a mist for free It's a mist that stacks with mist and you can keep misting. It is good. I'm expecting like 20% with like two exalters. Armor pen value is contingent on what you're hitting.
Yeah obviously like... The higher the defense of the enemy, the more valuable this is, right? Like if you're hitting like 10 defense, 20% of 10 is only 2, whereas 20% of 25 is higher obviously. So like... It's...
Like I said earlier, it's... think of it more like a unique attack mode, I think. That scales based on the enemy's defense as well. If it's like HSR, Penn is OP.
Do not compare this to HSR. Completely different damage formulas. Right now, the way I interpret it, this might not be the case, but the way I interpret it is each raid in the game has a defense number.
It would lower that defense number by a certain percentage. So right now, if a raid has 10 defense and you have 20% pen, then it goes down to 8 defense, as an example, right? Um, that's what I think. Is using multiple of these ignore defense sources just diminish returns?
So if you guys don't know how defense works in Granblue, it is a set number and essentially your final damage is divided by that number. So if the raid has, I'm simplifying this down heavily, but let's say you do 1000 damage and the raid has 10 defense then it's your 1000 damage divided by 10. If I'm remembering correctly, that's how defense works. If you miss the boss and you do enough, if you cap defense down, let's say you call bums, so 50% defense down with a ball, then that 10 defense becomes 5 defense.
So now your 1000 damage is divided by 5 instead of 10. so that's how this works now the the big thing is that this is not a debuff so it does stack with defense down debuffs right so normally you can take a boss down by 50 defense this would essentially give you over like more debuffs right it's sort of like calling Gabriel or Sariel like having one of those ones where's my bibu buff so yeah do you have a spreadsheet link no that's my personal spreadsheet um so yeah all right overall thoughts Polotto character has some nice synergy with some other crest units that we've been getting recently which is sort of nice Give some CA stuff, some defensive utility. Looks okay, permanent character though. And then Yule, obviously a weapon. I tentatively early on was saying two copies of the weapon to cap out these bonuses, but obviously wait for numbers.
Wait for like specific numbers and more calculations and stuff. Either way, I really don't think anybody should be sparking a grand on this banner, because Yule will be here on every flash banner from now on, which includes next month where we have Roulette. So if you really want Yule, I recommend sparking her in the fall. following month right so don't spark her now is my recommendation two copies is not that much as well like with the exaltos it was like really three copies for a couple of the early ones at least so like sparking on release helped a lot to help with the rate up but you know at this point like it's if it's a two of i don't really see oh every legend sorry not flash my bad yeah she'll be here every legend to gala um so yeah there's no real point to spark her right now. And in particular, next month after Roulette there is a Summer banner as well, so there'll be Summer rate ups and you can spark Yule there as well, and have a good chance of getting Summer units along the way.
The character itself, I think it really depends on how quickly you get this stuff, but she has a lot of utility, a lot of debuffs. Two debuffs here, debuff on her Ogi as well, does some skill damage and she starts auto activating her skills as well which is really nice. I think this effect here which is just the one turn cut and restore allies HP, maybe this means that she can see some use in HL2, but I think ultimately it sort of depends on how quickly you get these sort of stacks. how impactful like some of these numbers may be.
But for full auto obviously she's going to be good. I just see some HL usage. I'm not sure about burst mainly because the only real thing she does is this. I did forget about the passive.
The passive we need to know if this stacks. I normally something like this isn't enough on its own or burst usage but who knows she gives multi-attack as well so. But you do need to click this. I don't know. There's some trade-offs here for sure.
And Fire's Burst is so competitive right now, right? The one upside to sparking right now is that there's no other rate ups. I mean, obviously sparking this banner gives you the highest chance, but like unless you're sparking every banner it's really hard to justify this one in my opinion. Like, especially with roulette, there's, I think there's really no reason. Only whales spark now, I would agree, yeah.
Only people who really don't care about spending resources spark now. I would, I would heavily suggest against sparking this banner. What I do suggest, chat, is clicking the daily single draw that we get for free at the moment.
and then pulling Yule this way. If you're better at the game than me, you might get Yule here. So that's my recommendation.
Anyways, chat, say goodbye to YouTube. That's the video. No video, no edited video this month because it's Monster Hunter Wilds Day.
Goodbye, YouTube. Bye-bye.
