Creating Perfect Cloud Slime Tutorial

hey beautiful people it's courtney welcome back today i'm continuing my slime tutorial series because it has been a long time so today i'm going to be showing you how to make a perfect cloud slime but definitely let me know in the comments down below what slime type you would like to see me make next my slime shop video course has also launched which i'm so excited about i will link it down below for you it is literally everything i have learned when it comes to owning your own slime shop so there's so much awesome material there it is literally everything i wish i known when i started and speaking of slime shops my slime shop is 15 off this weekend only so you can use the code may 15 to get 15 off your order and yeah so i will link my video course and my slime shop down below for you guys but let's get into this tutorial so personally when i look at cloud slimes things i really enjoy is a cloud slime that fluffs up nicely has a steady drizzle it doesn't leave any snow residue and it doesn't have a wet feeling so personally i prefer a little more dense sturdy cloud slime and i'm going to show you how to make exactly that now for this i like to use elmer's glue all and i'll link all the ingredients that i use in the description box below for you and then i'm just coloring this i was feeling purple today but of course you could use whichever type of food coloring you want but i'll link this one down below as well now cloud slime is a little different it's the absolutely only slime i like to add plain water to typically i do not like jiggly slimes at all but we're gonna kind of make this a little bit like a jiggly slime so i like to add some water until it really thins out the glue and the reason for this is the instant snow is going to absorb a lot of this water so you really want to add quite a bit we can add more later on if you don't add enough enough here but then i'm gonna go ahead and activate it now i am using one teaspoon of borax into one cup of warm water for this initial activator and you actually want to over activate your slime because again we're gonna have a lot of water in it it's gonna be like a little bit of an over-activated jiggly slime because the instant snow really pulls in a lot of that water but it's also gonna melt it down a little bit as well now instead of adding the water you could just use a really really weak activator but i just prefer to do it this way so you could really do whatever way it works best for you but here is going to be the end result once you're done activating it just kind of a super jiggly not very stretchy slime but yeah so this is what we're gonna be working with so what i like to do is take some snow wonder now at first i like to go in with a bit of the dry powder so i'm adding absolutely no water to the instant snow because it's gonna start absorbing a lot of the water that's already in the slime so i alternate between dry snow and adding a little bit of water to the snow which i'll show you in a minute but i think the most important thing with cloud slime is it really just takes a long time of mixing and adding and you don't want to add too much too fast because you definitely it's always better to add a little bit at a time so what i like to do when i add water is i'm not adding a lot of water i'm only adding enough to pretty much cover the snow and you'll see it starts to expand but if you add too much you definitely don't want it to be like a clear like you don't want it to be too clear where you added too much water like you would with the jelly slime you just want a little bit of water with your instant snow so i'm just going to knead that into the slime and i'm going to alternate between adding a little bit of dry snow and a little bit of snow with some water like this and again i will link the snow wonder down below in the description box for you i buy mine in like a really really large quantities in bulk but you can buy smaller amounts on amazon so i'll link it for you but as you can see i'm just keep on mixing it in and also keep in mind when you make this your slime is going to grow in size as well because the snow really makes your slime expand and you're adding more volume to it so now i'm just going to start kind of kneading it with my hands and i'm gonna show you guys what it looks like every step of the way because this actually takes quite a bit of a process when you're making it by hand and not with a mixer so i think that's where a lot of people go wrong you either don't add enough or you add too much or you add too much water to your instant snow i feel like that's a big big problem so what i like to do is just do a little bit at a time because you can always it's much easier just to add more than it is to take it back so i'm just continuing to knead this end and you can really see the cloud slime change in front of you at first it'll be like a little bit more of a wet consistency and if it gets too wet you can add a little bit more of activator into it but i'm going to show you what i like to do towards the end so as you can see i'm just mixing it and kneading it and this takes a long time and when i see that it's starting to come together i usually like to finish it off with a little bit of dry snow at the end and this is kind of just like the finishing touch i add a little bit of it not too much and just really let it soak in and then i'll really start to stretch it again as well and with cloud slime it's kind of a process because not only are you making it and you it takes a lot of time to make but it also you want to let it sit because as it sits the snow is going to continue to activate and it will change the texture of your slime a little bit so you want to make sure that you're pretty good before you let it sit so as you can see my drizzle wasn't the best it was still like not very fluffy so what i like to do and it was still a little bit wet as well so what i like to do is take a little bit of strong activator and for this i'm using two teaspoons of borax to one cup of warm water so a little bit stronger than usual and i like to put it on my hands that way it's just getting a little bit of activator and it's not going to be too much activator too quickly and i like to work it into your slime and at this point it might make your slime rip a little bit and that's okay the more you keep kneading it it will come together more and more and if you couldn't tell there are some little pieces of snow that you could still see and if you're having some fallout what i like to do is add a little bit more water as you can see i did here and really just work that water into your slime and it really helps get rid of any of that snow fallout and if you could see the snow pieces in your slime that means you're most likely gonna have some snow fall out so i'm adding in a little bit of water between that a little bit of water and a little bit of the strong activator it will really help any fallout and at first it might look like you're ruining your slime but don't worry with cloud slime you really just as you can see here it looks worse than it just did in the last clip but you just really have to work it in and let it get to all the glue and all the snow and it will be so much better i promise you guys so i could still see a little bit of snow particles so i added in a tiny bit more water i'm still going in and mixing it and kneading it like i said this takes a lot of kneading so i wanted to make sure you guys could see the whole process because it takes a while to get a good cloud slime and for me i'm so used to doing it like in a mixer that it's definitely took me longer than i even expected it to do by my hands so as you can see it was still ripping a little bit i'm still gonna make sure i work it in and just keep on it looks ruined it's not i promise you guys just keep on kneading keep on stretching it and it's going to come right back together and i also haven't even sold cloud slimes in so long in my slime shop i'm definitely going to be releasing a collection soon so if you have any special types of cloud slimes you would like to see definitely let me know um but yeah they are definitely a little they're not a little they're a lot more tedious than some other types of slime you really have to put in some work to get some good cloud slime so as you can see i'm still kneading it and stretching it and pulling it and it's starting to kind of hold that fluffiness and that's what you want when it starts to get a really good drizzle where it's not too fast it doesn't feel too wet but it looks very fluffy and consistent that's when you know you're on the right track and if it's not at that point you might need to add a little bit more snow if it's still a little bit wet i would recommend adding some dry snow and again if you have any other problems a little bit of the strong activator a little bit of water it's just adding in a little bit of things at a time so at this point i think it looks pretty good i'm gonna stick it into a container and let it sit because it's gonna continue to work its magic so i'm gonna let it sit and i'm gonna let it do its thing so as you can see some time has gone by even for whatever reason i don't know why purple food coloring always separates so you can see it a little bit separated but once i start to mix it together it's going to come right back together right back to a beautiful purple and as you can see once it sits it really just all the snow is fully activated and it's just gonna fluff up so much better than it did previously and at this point i didn't need to do anything else to my slime but i would highly recommend that you know you really just keep an eye out and if you need to add anything do it in very small amounts so yeah this is how i like to make my cloud slimes i hope you guys found this video helpful let me know what type of slime you want to see next i feel like i used to do so many tutorials but they're all so outdated so i recently did my basic how to make slime video which inspired me to do a new cloud slime video and i just kind of want to make this a series where i just go through all the different types of slime and i hope you guys found this informative and helpful and i don't want to edit out too much of the footage so you could really just see what it takes to make these slimes from scratch and by hand so i hope you guys enjoyed this definitely let me know what you think i mean look at that drizzle it is marvelous and so good but it definitely took some time to get there i would say this took me like 45 minutes to an hour and then letting it sit so it definitely takes some time but just keep practicing and i hope this video provided some good tips for you and thank you guys so much for watching and i will talk to you very very soon bye [Music] you
