they were're talking about foundations of inner healing and so um some of us you know who've done any previous training in inner healing or Deliverance might have some of these things you know you might already know like presenting the father or you know bringing Jesus into a memory or things like that but um it's really really important to go through many of these things because many people don't know these things so for some of us who've done some kind of training it might not get super different until like next week when we talk about traumatic altars and some of that kind of stuff or the following week when we talk about um bloodline deliverance and then the fourth week we'll go deeper into um like ritual abuse um ancestral Spirits just it's going to go deep but this week will be the least deep if that makes sense so for some of you like I've heard this before wait until next week but we do have to understand foundational things um and so many of us there's I think there's hundreds of people in this class so many of us may not have the foundational things down so we're going to make sure that we have a really good understanding of those things first does that make sense um so how the sessions will run the live sessions anyway um we've got from now until about 10 p.m our time um and so we'll do about an hour and a half of teaching then uh like a bit of an activation where we kind of go through some of these things because sometimes you don't really know how it works until you practice it yourself and so to lead someone else through it you also want to know what it feels like um you know to do it yourself and so we'll probably do some um you know one or two things on our own um you won't have like as I'm teaching about these things I won't necessarily go in depth on every single prayer line by line on because there's just not enough time but it will be in the manual so you'll get a manual at the end of each week you'll kind of get a synopsis of everything we talked about and then you'll get you know any of the inner healing tools the explanation of it the step by step by step like kind of all the stuff for you to be able to do it yourself but today it's more about taking your own notes listening watching the live um examples every week there'll be a live Ministry that happens which for about an hour probably each time because the best way to learn to be honest I can go through all this but you could probably read a lot of this on the notes and kind of get a grasp for it but what you can't get a grasp for is how to navigate it and so they'll actually be over the this whole time like about four hours of live Ministry and so you'll actually understand where like where do I pull what tools and why like because that's actually the part that teaches us the most when we're watching someone else do it um because it helps us to understand um you know well why did you choose that and then during the Q&A or you know after the session maybe next week you have another question or during the week you have a question and you can ask like well why did we do this during that time or why did you do this and that might help in your own um you know Ministry so uh then we'll do Q&A today um for a brief time not tons of questions but probably more so from people who are here um or we might take a question or two from those online um and then the live demonstration will start and each demonstration is today will feel more complicated than what we learned um so you might be like I don't even know what you're doing but you will understand it by the end I tried to choose demonstrations that were not super simple because I do want you to get the whole like why are you doing that I want you to like wonder what I'm doing in a sense because you can watch it later and you'll probably have a better understanding of the tools and then you can you know figure it out from from there um so don't be like wait I didn't learn this I know but I didn't want to choose really simple demonstrations I actually wanted them to be somewhat complex so I had to also navigate uh you know using different tools and all that um secondly few notes before we uh get started some some of the things that I'm teaching I'm assuming that you already have a base of theology for some of this so I'm assuming that you already listened to the teaching that's in the the the course um and I know some of you just signed up or signed up recently so you may not have had time to do that yet but you will need to do that or some of the things that I'm talking about especially as we get into week you know three and four might get lost on you um if you don't already have some theology you know for some of the things that we'll get into um especially when we start going deeper into bloodline deliverance and things like that if you know because I won't I'm not teaching theology in this practical demonstration this is more for learning tools and the demonstration of those tools so you will need to engage both with the Practical lives but also with the um the theological and doctrinal teaching um yeah the training manual I did say uh that will be provided kind of week by week you'll get the session that we did the sessions we did and then at the end it will be a completed manual for you um and then also the Eden Community will open as soon as this is done after the four weeks so once the four weeks are finished that will open everyone who's done the training can have access to that Community um the only prerequisite is that you have completed the training and we can see that inside the thing so you can't be like I want to go in there be like you still have couple sessions due because we want to make the reason why is because we want to make sure that everyone who's engaging in there has actually like done the work and done the training and so then it becomes a community where people can exchange we're learning together people ask questions but everyone in there has already kind of the same Baseline that they're working from all right so I also uploaded a bonus teaching for this week um I put that in there today and it's called the necessity of healing the soul and that's a a message that I taught um a couple months ago and I'm not going to go back into that today that's a lot more of my own story right so it's it's my own you know navigation of inner healing in my own life um the reasons why it's so relevant you know and I think the the practicalness of that story helps when you're leading other people um and also in your own life maybe some of the things that we haven't considered we might need healing from um so I would encourage you to to listen to that as well but but um okay today we're going to talk about foundations of inner healing or Foundation of emotional healing is part one um so what is inner healing or what is emotional healing well basically it's the restoration of our soul right to put it really really simple it's the restoration of our soul as though we were never broken and so all of us have encountered and experienced different levels of Brokenness some of us more than others right it depends on our life but God wants to put us back together as we were never broken you know so this is dealing with things like wounds Lies We Believe trauma um our ability to connect to God and to people to our self our ability to give and receive love um right so essentially this is the Journey of sunship is what we're actually addressing here it's the Journey of becoming something becoming a son or a daughter right finding oursel in him and becoming who we actually are instead of the world formed version of us um in counseling they might call that world formed version of false self right so for some who've done you know counseling or psychology there's a false self and the true self the false self is who we are right now maybe um you know which probably you know all of us who are in process are still healing from some things there's some elements of us that are not totally whole but the true self is who we would be if we were never hurt if we were never you know if no one ever did the wrong thing if we had a perfect family if all of our needs have been met our whole life that's the true version of who we are and so that's who Jesus wants to make us who we would have been all along regardless of the pain and the different things that have gone on in our life some of it you know we had no choice in and so it's the Journey of sunship that's really really important so the goal is wholeness which is why we're this isn't just an inner healing class um this isn't just focusing on inner healing isn't just focusing on Deliverance isn't just focusing on what might call some might call spiritual formation you know which is believe the word believe the truth and you know come into being formed like Christ do the things Christ did that it's all of it so in order to truly become whole and to be formed in the image of Christ we need all the pieces so our goal is wholeness and that requires multiple elements all right so it's really important that we also see oursel holistically um um you know through this process so not just oursel but in teaching others and in leading others through Ministry helping them to understand you are one whole thing right and for for women I feel like we get this pretty naturally you know you're like why are you upset because my house is messy you know like because that is bothering this and that's affecting everything and we understand that everything about us is affecting us where you know for men maybe it's not so simple all the time you know you're like what's wrong and they're like well it's just this one thing and you're like no because that's attached to this and it's attached to that and it's attached to this because we're one whole thing Body Soul Spirit we are combined everything is affecting everything else and so if we you know even with sickness for example so some people might be physically sick and they'll like well I'm just physically sick well no maybe your heart is sick maybe you're sad maybe there's a a a psychosomatic root to the sickness that you're experiencing we actually see that a lot we see a lot of people get healed when they go through inner healing and Deliverance uh because many sicknesses have a spiritual or a psychosomatic roote so it's important for us to understand that we are one thing right now we live in the midst of a broken World affected by sin we all know that and even though we are on our way to you know renewing all things and joining God in that we still live in a world that is not yet perfect right where the manifestation of the kingdom is not complete and so that means that we still live in a tension between the kingdom that's coming and the reality that is affected by sin and by people and our Earthly experience is distorted by that sin and so the way that we've experienced this world is not God's perfect will the way we've experienced the World includes other wills it includes the will of other people it includes the will of Satan and his kingdom and so many of us have experienced things that were not God's Will and God didn't think it was okay either and I think this is something that when you're ministering to someone who's been through trauma or been through something really hard it's it's important for them to know God wasn't teaching you a lesson he wasn't trying to strengthen your faith he wasn't making you prove anything to him it wasn't his will that you were raped it wasn't his will that you were abused it wasn't his will that you were abandoned that actually makes him sad too so when people can differentiate between the will of God and what's actually happened to them it also helps to restore the nature of God and Trust in the father and in the godhead because when people think that the pain and the evil that they're experiencing is sourced in God then they'll have a problem kind of addressing it as something wrong and so that's an important thing to separate too that this world is affected by sin and the things that happen to you as a result of sin are not God's will and he's as sad about it or more he's more sad about it than than even you are and he didn't want that to happen to you and so the pain wasn't our fault how many of us have heard this it wasn't your fault but it's your responsibility and it has not been fun to have the responsibility of working through other people's stuff how many of us have really enjoyed all the gifts that our parents gave us in the form of trauma I'm just but um our parents had a lot of really wonderful things too I'm sure right even the person with well maybe not person with the worst parents in the world but most parents have some things that they did really really right and some things that maybe they didn't do really right and so at the end of the day we can still honor the things that our family has done well and we can be honest about the things that were not done well and I think people have to have permission especially in certain cultures I've noticed in cultures that are more of an Eastern mentality they have a big issue with acknowledging that their parents didn't do something right because it's an honor shame culture and so in the west we have a different mentality around you know individualism and you know like that's you this is me in an Eastern Society it's not like that it's very honor-based it's very you are a part of the whole and your family and honor for your parents is very important in an Eastern mentality and and so I've sat in you know sessions with people before like um a girl from China and I was sitting and I don't know if she actually was from China but she was Chinese e ethnically and her parents were very Chinese uh in the home like it was very Chinese culture and so I remember her really not being able to cope with admitting that her father neglected her she couldn't she she couldn't admit that he did the wrong thing because in that culture that's dishonor to say your parent did something wrong is dishonor your parent would never apologize to you you're always wrong if you're the child period And so to to reconcile that was very difficult for her to have an understanding that my my my parent actually did something that was wrong in their parenting and it hurt me and it's affected me and so sometimes you have to be aware of that when you're you have to be aware of someone's ethnic background when you're ministering to them because you can say do you need to forgive your father and they'll just say oh no and like did you ask the Holy Spirit ask the Holy Spirit do you need to forgive your father because um sometimes people's immediate response will be cultural and so you want to be like let's ask the Holy Spirit about that and if someone's struggling with admitting that maybe their family wasn't as perfect as they hoped or as they thought or as they have been conditioned to believe you might have to help them work through those feelings of of going against what they perceive as their their their family culture all right Isaiah 61 is kind of a foundation scripture that I teach from a lot when I talk about this three-fold chord if you will um of wholeness so I'm going to read it first and then I'm going to talk about it a little bit but Isaiah 61 says the spirit of The Sovereign Lord is on me because the Lord has anointed me to Proclaim good news to the poor he has sent me to bind up the Brokenhearted to Proclaim freedom for the captives and released from Darkness for the prisoners to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor and the day of Vengeance of our God to comfort those who mourn to provide for those who grieve in Zion and bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of Ashes an oil of Joy instead of mourning and a Garment of Praise instead of a spirit of Despair they will be called Oaks of righteousness a planting of the Lord for the display of his Splendor they will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for Generations couple things I'm going to pull out of this scripture so there's three things and we and most of us would know that Isaiah 61 is the scripture that Jesus reads in the temple so he unrolls the scroll remember and he reads from Isaiah 61 and so this passage of scripture is a mesonic passage it's basically talking about what Jesus would do all right so this is talking about his ministry and in essence what he would do for us right so he says the spirit of the Lord is on me because he's anointed me to Proclaim good news to the poor now who are the poor is it those without money no it's those who have a lack it's not just those who lack financially but it's those who lack in general now how many of us lack without Jesus all of us all of us lack and so when it's talking about the good news to the poor it's basically I'm going to bring the solutions for those who have a lack and all of us have a lack in some way all right he has sent me to bind up the Brokenhearted this is talking about healing the soul the Brokenhearted this word means shabar or it's Hebrew in in the Hebrew the word shabar which means to be shattered into pieces so he's come to bind back up the hearts that have been shattered into pieces now in order for his Spirit to put our heart back together how many of us understand that's some process because that's dealing with emotions so that's a lot of what we're talking about today is this process of binding back up the broken heart because this is essential especially if you want wholeness you can't just go straight to Deliverance you know come up to an altar call fall over and some demons Le praise God you know for the times when that happens but if you want to live a life of wholeness with healthy relationships and healthy finances and healthy like if you want all the things that come with wholeness you will have to address your inner life and I I don't believe you will ever be totally free either if you don't because at many different levels of inner healing you get to new levels of Deliverance and this has been the experience with most people I know that would vouch for that same experience that it's almost like with every level of new healing that our heart receives it's like there's more demons behind it and you're like ah I thought I was totally free and then you forgive somebody else you're like oh okay wait I think maybe I still need some prayer let go get a friend or pray through self- Deliverance thing or something when you know what you're doing so you know it's it's it's layered and that's okay and that's actually meant to be our process we're not supposed to ever think and this is important for for us who are learning how to minister to others this is not something where you go and get a business card and now you're going to start a Ministry where people come to your house and spend two hours with you right this is actually meant for the community of God like this is supposed to be happening everywhere at all times in the family of God wherever people are at they can be at that place and something comes up we know how to heal that like it's not meant ideally to be in appointments does that make sense it's not like oh I did my I did my inner healing appointment so I'm good now or I went to Deliverance once I'm like once because I don't know how many times I've had Deliverance now I I don't count but I have had you know several uh you know different occurrences where God has Set Me Free from things and as far as interner healing I can't even count you know how many different times that the Holy Spirit has met me and done significant work in my soul um and peeled off different layers of things you know so anyway the point is we need it all we need healing freedom and the wisdom of God all right so let's keep going in the scripture he sent me to bind up the Brokenhearted to Proclaim freedom for the captives so freedom for the captives this is talking about Deliverance what's a captive this is someone who is held against their will all right can a Christian have demons yes and most of them do tell them no Deliverance is for the church okay it's for the church it's for no one else the only people who have the blood of Jesus and the authority of Jesus are believers no one else has that even if somebody manifests a demon they need the authority of Jesus I've before I've been praying for somebody who came up at an altar call because I mean and it was like altar call for consecration it's something I'm you know I'm thinking of course as a Christian and so a girl comes forward I start praying for her and I mean she starts manifesting and you know no big deal whatever we'll deal with it and so we start praying for her and she says she she's talking in a demonic voice the Demon's just laughing laughing laughing and then she's kind of coming back and forth and she says well I see this spirit and it's standing like this and laughing at you and then I said are you a Christian and then she was like well I mean I I was like oh wait a minute hang on we need to like rewat for a minute so then letter to Christ and then it was a different story when she received Jesus and gave over the lordship of her life because lordship which we'll talk about when we talk about Deliverance but lordship is the foundation of being delivered Jesus must be Lord right so anyway he has sent me to Proclaim freedom for the captives so those who are held against their will and release from Darkness for the prisoners now in the Hebrew the word prisoners also means the blind so release from Darkness for the blind so what do you need if you're blind in the dark you need light all right so Jesus is the light and what is light in scripture so light and darkness are often compared wisdom and foolishness so throughout the Old Testament you'll see this comparison to the wisdom of man versus the wisdom of God the wisdom of God is wisdom real wisdom and the wisdom of man is foolishness right so and this goes all the way back to the Garden that we would receive the wisdom of God instead of our own right to decide between what's right and wrong so he wants to return us back to his wisdom and what is his wisdom well that's his ways and his thoughts right Isaiah 558 my thoughts are not your thoughts my ways are not your ways my ways are different and higher summarized and so if we need his ways and his thoughts that's different than what we might naturally think that's the process of sanctification that we often find in community reading the word right doing things God's way kind of going against sometimes our natural inclination our cultural inclination we learn the ways of God which are higher and a part of his kingdom and not necessarily a part of our ethnic culture or our you know societal culture or our family culture and so we have to learn his ways through his word and through doing things his way and so this progression of healing the soul and coming into place of Health being set free from demonic tment and living God's way knowing his ways and his thoughts this is the picture of wholeness this is the people where it says in verse 3B and then four it says they will be called Oaks of righteousness a planting of the of the Lord for the display of his Splendor that word Splendor means Glory now what is the glory of God well it's Jesus right and what are we meant to reflect and display and manifest Jesus Glory they will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for Generations so who will have the capacity and ability to rebuild the cities to restore the places devastated to reflect and and and manifest the glory of God who will have that ability those who are whole see what the devil wants to do is get people so wrapped up in their problems and so drowned in all their issues that they're never mature enough to do the things that they're actually here to do which is to restore the Earth with Jesus to reflect and manifest his glory and to live a Victorious life but if our whole life is about keeping oursel together and surviving we're not going to be of much use he still loves us but our usefulness is greatly decreased when our when we remain broken and so he wants to heal us and restore us so that we are useful to him we are saved for good works he loves us unconditionally but he also wants to partner with us and Rule with us as sons and this is a part of our inheritance all right so healing the soul freedom from demonic torment and wisdom in exchange for foolishness all right Romans 122 I'll just touch on it really fast for sake of time but Romans 122 and this will be in your notes um this scripture most of us would probably know it do not be conformed to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind now when the word talks about do not be conformed to the P the the the pattern of this world the word conformed means fashioned and so in the Greek that word actually means do not be molded or cut out into a pattern of the world now who creates the pattern of the world demons okay demons create a world worldly pattern and so essentially it's talking about do not be formed into the Demonic worldview around you don't be cut out to be shaped like that and it's to become something externally to be cut out into something externally but it says to be transformed by the renewing of your mind the word transformed means transfigured and in the Greek it means to become something externally that you already are internally and so it's not trying to be something but it's Bec something else that then is reflected and so that process of becoming something else is really what we want to focus on it isn't just doing the right thing it's becoming something all right so skip through that all right there's two interdependent types of relationships that have been restored at the Garden all right so when we go all the way back to Eden there's two different kinds of relationships that were happening in the Perfection of Eden we have relationship with God that was unbroken and we have relationship with other people right at that point there was two other people but they were other people we have relationship with others and relationship with God now then what was broken in sin relationship with God and relationship with others and so the restoration of our soul is twofold it's not just so that we can connect to God and see him clearly but it's so that we can connect to others it's so we can again find our place in community so we can again have healthy relationships and so a big part of what we notice as our soul gets healed is that we're able to relate to other people correctly and a lot of the dysfunction that manifests in all kinds of ways begins to change and begins to heal in us because it isn't just about you know praying alone in our room with and I that I've got that together we're actually meant to be able to function in right relationship with people and so God wants to heal both of those interdependent relationships we are created to need people and we're created to need God and we will always need both of those kinds of relationships because I think some people they're like well you know people I don't and it's like well no we actually are meant to live in community we're created to be interdependent all right so we're going to talk about identity and sunship for a little bit which you know for some of us we're like oh yeah that Horn's been blowing we we get it like I'm a son identity however the way I heard this talk for a long time I can't say it really landed in the way I think it's meant to because I think many of us learned well you know the orphan Spirit just you know we pray we break the orphan spirit in Jesus name you know be healed be set free from the orphan Spirit receive a spirit of adoption well I mean I I can't say that's never happened before I think that can happen to somebody that they can receive a spirit of adoption because the Bible talks about the spirit of adoption in Romans 8 but the process of sunship is not just getting deliverance from a spirit an orphan Spirit the process of being set free from being an orphan yeah I mean I think there is a spirit there's lots of spirits okay but I think there probably is an orphan Spirit but I think even more than that there is an orphan heart and the orphan heart needs to be healed and that is way more complex than getting prayer at an altar call and it takes time for us to come into a place of the spirit of adoption and to become a son this is a process that includes kind of all the things that we're talking about today um Romans 8 let's actually turn there if you have your paper Bible or a digital Bible is acceptable I don't think it's the same though I was talking to my my um my mom and my husband about this the other day they're like I feel like audio Bible just like doesn't count it's not the same you can't highlight it you're not seeing it I don't know anyway Romans 8:14 it says for those who are led by the spirit of God are the children of God the spirit you received does not make you slaves so that you live in fear again rather the spirit you received brought about your adopt option to sunship and by him we cry ABA father testifies with our spirit that we are God's children now if we are children then we are heirs Heirs of God and coair with Christ if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we might also share in his glory all right there's a couple things in this that I think we need to understand this is a powerful scripture to understand identity in Christ and the process of sunship because when it talks about and by him we cry that word by it actually means in him this is not the same thing as because Jesus said Abba you can say Abba too because he's Jesus's father he's your father too no it's not because Jesus said it that he gives you permission to say it it's actually in Jesus that we cry ABA that's a different reality coming into Christ the deeper we are in Union with him the more we can cry out father out of that Spirit of adoption and we actually are in that Revelation because Jesus is never out of the spirit of adoption he's always in perfect relationship perfect union with the father and so we are invited into Jesus's Union and the more we are coming into Union with Christ the more we are in adoption and out of Orphan right we're coming out of Orphan Tendencies orphan relationships orphan perspectives or orphan everything how many of us have had some process of getting rid of all the orphan stuff out of our heart I can still probably think of something that's there right now I'm like I should deal with that too right like it takes a long time like why do I have a fear of lack why am I afraid that I'm not protected when that happens why do I get scared about this like there's all these different things right where we might have these distortions in our relationship with the father and it's it's in intimacy with Jesus that those orphan places are dealt with all right and then in the end of that scripture in verse 17 when it says in order that we might also share in his glory that word share it's in closely identifying in him so the more closely we are identified in him we are sharing in him we are sharing his glory sharing his suffering sharing everything that is in him but this word that he uses in that too that's the word in Aramaic ABA was not a Greek word and it's interesting to me that and this letter it wasn't even changed Paul wrote Romans right it isn't even changed to the Greek word for father instead he leaves it as the word Jesus used for the father on purpose because Jesus would have said ABA and so he's leaving it you're crying out in him that same relationship with the father and it's not instant it requires some time think of in scripture in Exodus what happened to the Israelites they left Egypt and then what they had to learn how to stop being Egyptian slaves that took some time apparently a lot of time I don't know if they ever did like fully learned it then you've got Lazarus is a really good example too that I like to use from scripture in John 11 because Lazarus is resurrected right this whole this whole um you know Story of Lazarus is a really beautiful picture of Resurrection um you know coming into New Birth in Christ but then when he comes out of the Tomb what does it say that he's covered in grave close so he doesn't come out ready to jump back into life he still kind of smells like death even though he has been resurrected into new life and then what does Jesus say to those around him it says he said to those around him take off his grave clothes and let him go and so to me that's such a beautiful picture of the way that we serve one another in community because I think sometimes people would even say well why do you need somebody to minister to you just go pray go pray about it go read the Bible you know that's enough but I found in my journey there were some things I could work through by myself with the Holy Spirit and there were other things I really needed you know Brothers and Sisters in Christ fathers and mothers in Christ to minister to me and to help me walk through those things and that's one of the ways that we are interdependent on each other and so it's a beautiful thing to be able to minister to other people and to receive Ministry from other people and I think that God designed it that way I don't think he wants us to only need him I think he wants us to need each other and I think that's a beautiful part of the family of God in Matthew 7 or sorry Matthew 3:17 it says a voice from Heaven said this is my son who I love with him I'm well pleased so this is when Jesus is baptized and it says a Dove came down and then that voice from heaven so the father is affirming the identity of Jesus now this is before he ever did anything important this is before he was launched into his ministry his public Ministry he was basically God was saying before you've done anything you're my son you're mine I love you and I'm happy with you I'm pleased with you and this this affirmation this understanding of the way the father sees us is very important especially with people who are coming into a Ministry environment and maybe they feel like a mess it's really important that they understand that before they can do anything that might be awesome for God because you'll get a lot of people especially in church world who deal with Major Performance and they're very embarrassed that they even need help or that they need freedom you know I can't tell you how many people I've had to sit with who needed deliverance and they're just trying to process that they needed Deliverance for a long time I feel I thought that at first to be honest because I thought dang I've already been through a lot of Deliverance how do I need more deliverance and then I needed more deliverance and I like I had to process it and God was like another layer of Pride like gone you know like we've never arrived and to to keep that posture you know whatever God needs to do in me he can do it and I'm never going to be like well I surely couldn't need because that stance is also problematic right so you'll get the people who think they're a total mess and they're Unworthy of anything and then you get the people who are like I'm just here to check you know and he like well both both of those stances can be really difficult to minister to and so you know to the person who is really like you know how could God love me I'm such a mess BL blah like it's really important to affirm hey God God loves you no matter what like there's nothing that you could do or not do that makes him love you less look what he said to Jesus you're my son I love you I'm pleased with you that's where God is at with you too right and then you have the people who you know think how could they ever need Ministry because they've been a pastor for 20 years and you're like well you know humility then you give them a humility scripture so I think the foundation is though we have to operate in love towards people to help them do the work of unraveling and to allow them space to be messy to be broken to confess sin because you'll hear all kinds of things and when I say all kinds of things I mean all kinds of things you will hear all kinds of things and for people to trust you enough to tell you all kinds of things they need to feel safe and they can't feel that they're in an environment of shame or that there's something wrong with them and I've had people confess before beastiality um you know like really interesting types of pornography I mean just crazy especially in the sexual space you'll get some stuff where you're just like I've never heard of that before uh let's repent for that repeat after me you know and it's just like people as soon as shame as soon as like whoa that's crazy you're bad that's terrible comes in you've immediately cut off someone's ability to be vulnerable because they're they're dealing with things and you'd be surprised you'll never even know who is dealing with some of the things that they're dealing with and they just need a space where they can come without shame and where they can be healed and that's meant to be what the church is we're meant to be a place that people can come without shame and be healed because the more we pretend to be something we're not the more we will continue to be the kind of church that we are right now but when people can come and they can actually become something right don't be fashioned be transfigured so the more that we can become something real that from the inside we are being healed and it is reflecting it is becoming we're becoming something on the outside that is what God wants for the church which means we have to create an environment that is secure in love and free from shame all right people have to be free um free and safe to be vulnerable and to expose themselves right what does what does um Adam say in the garden in Genesis 3:10 right God is walking through the garden and he says where are you and Adam says well I heard you in the garden and I was afraid so I hid right the the the nature of hiding is because of fear and because of Shame and so we have to remove the fear and the shame of confession and the fear of the shame uh or sorry the fear and the shame that sometimes people have that they even have an issue they have you know and some of these things are generational I mean I I've prayed with people before like I I think of one man in particular who is at one of our conferences and he was struggling with um with uh pedophilia not acting on it from what he confessed but he said his whole life he had always struggled with an attraction to children and he had never acted on it but the level of shame it probably took him an hour to even confess this because of the level of Shame attached for good reason you know and so when he finally confessed it then he was able to get free but it was you know there's a lot of Darkness that he has felt trapped in his whole life because he was so ashamed that that could even go into his mind and he didn't know that was not even him it was a demon and so all of those thoughts and all the things being planted there had had basically convinced him that he was evil and that there was nothing you know that could be done about it and the difference between you know the voice of the accuser and the voice of the holy spirit is that the Accuser will tell you you are a problem you are wrong and you can never change you can never be better where the voice of the holy spirit says it is wrong that is wrong and it's not who you are right you are my son I love you I'm pleased with you it is wrong and so we're GNA have to separate you from it and you need to become who you really are into Christ out of the world and it needs to be dealt with because that's not you and when people can get that Revelation that the thing they're struggling with the thing they're dealing with is not who they are then you'll have an easier time especially with identity issues especially with really deep sexual Brokenness and things like that when you can help people understand you are not wrong it is wrong it is not you then you'll have an easier time SE separating Sin from the person um yeah so love gives us freedom to come into the light and we have to come into the light to be healed you actually can't be healed of something that you won't acknowledge or that you pretend isn't there so love is a sustainable motivation people never change because they should I don't know anybody who is like you know I really should change so I did you know it I changed because I was transformed by him I I didn't I I didn't change because I should I changed because his power in me gave me the ability to change right should is not the motivation love has to be that motivation should is more based in shame you should be different you should change you shouldn't be doing that well most people actually know they shouldn't be doing that or most people know that they should be different so why isn't everybody because there are things that we have to work through and in order to do that we have to actually acknowledge what's really going on without shame and fear all right let's talk about the family um our family is our first model of the godhead now our family can often shape how we see God and most of the time they do so somebody who would say oh well that doesn't that doesn't affect me my mom was like this my dad was like this but I'm fine no you're not no you're not you know it's really interesting you'll get people and you'll say so you know they'll be like oh well I don't really hear God and you know maybe they have a lot of control in their life and they feel really scared about when you know when the spirit you know like very controlled about the Holy Spirit and it be like tell me about your dad you know and they'll be like oh he was this he was this was this oh interesting that's like exactly how you just described a father you know or the spirit a lot of control a lot of this I'm tell me about your mom a she so controlling she always made me do things I didn't want to do she always controlled my life oh interesting so you're afraid the holy spirit is going to control you and make you do things you don't want to do so that's why you stay back and you won't engage and you've taken inner vows that now are blocking your ability to hear God so there there's all kinds of things that happen because of this but we have to come to the root of most things which is our family so if we don't understand this uh or not if we don't understand but we have to understand this in inner healing you have to understand how much is connected to our upbringing and to our family unit because almost all the things that kind of spring out from there are rooted in that place and so if you don't deal first with the family unit and deal with healing that you will have a lot of other issues trying to use any other tools if that makes sense because we're going to talk about lots of other tools that um some of them I've learned from other places some of them I've made up some of like I mean there's kind of tools nobody owns like forgiveness renunciation like these are things that kind of everybody does um but then there's other kind of nuance in inner healing and there's many great inner healing Ministries by the way um as long as the job gets done great there's lots of ways to get there particularly with inner healing I feel like there's a lot of different roads you could take to get to the same place as long as you're getting there and I would say you know efficiently so and and it has to be connect Ed to Deliverance I think to get totally free I don't think you'll ever be totally free just with inner healing Alone um and we'll talk about that more when we actually address uh Deliverance but I want to talk about the family for a minute so the family is the place where we learn who we are and I have a whole chart that I was going to draw out on my whiteboard TV but I'm not doing it because I did not compute that my iPad would have my notes and I needed to stream it to draw my little thing so actually I take it back I actually can do it wait a minute I don't even know if this is worth it at this point but I'm still GNA do it do it someone's like do it all right I'm gonna do it all right hurry up man there's a lot of stuff I could I could join with here if everybody's got so many Wi-Fi devices it's like 20 different things I hope I chose the right TV you know I practiced this like 17 times and it always happened in like one second so here we are that Shrek the B Movie unable no connect let's see if it doesn't I'll just turn it back off and keep going and I'll just include the chart in the notes I did want to draw it though because it's kind of cool practice everything five times and then you get there and then like I tried to I'm getting better at Tech and practicing things and like having everything ready so this was me doing that but here we are still with it not working okay well forget it all right anyways keep going so the family is a reflection of Covenant um what I was going to draw I'll just explain and you'll see a picture of it in the notes but um if there's a person in the middle every person is joined or birthed let's say into a family unit now that family unit has a mother a father probably siblings now I'm talking in ideals now is every family ideal no and often that's part of the root and source of the Brokenness and the pain that we experience because we when we come into a family unit that is not as God intended it actually creates unmet needs and other things which we'll talk about in a minute but our family is meant to model who God is to us and so our father for example what does a father do think of like maybe not your own father in some cases but think of a really great father what you would picture as a great father and what would a great father do protect you provide for you you know Shield you affirm you you know there's all kinds of things when you think of a strong father whether that was what we experienced or not we can imagine it I I couldn't imagine it growing up because I'd never seen that but I imagined it later and then I actually I talk about this in the message actually I think I talk about this in the message I put in there how angry I was when I realized other people had like good Dads I was like wait a minute pause pause the world what just happened what am I experiencing right now because someone else was like giving a whole thing my dad was so awesome and this is a picture of him pushing me on a swing I was like what I was mad anyway I had to process it I went through 10 years of interner healing probably just around the father thankfully now there are more tools and I didn't know as much then I don't think it has to take 10 years don't don't get scared but it just took me a long time but anyway the father Jesus and holy spirit often times are mod mod in these ways that we experience our family right so the mother is who the one who comforts nurtures cares for us guides us teaches us so a lot of these attributes you also find a mirror in the godhead and then with Jesus who is Jesus he's the one who's like us the one who's closer than a brother the one who identifies with us the one who understands us the one who's just like us right so you'll get a lot of siblings and friends you when people have had severe trauma or pain in their family with siblings whether it's rejection or abandonment or you know maybe they've had severe bullying or different things like that you'll find sometimes that they really struggle with connecting with Jesus I really couldn't connect with Jesus for a long time because I had severe trauma happen with a friendship at 12 years old and you know my parents didn't have the awareness or understanding to to know what was going on and why I would just start crying for no reason and why you know they didn't like understand trauma I didn't even you know I didn't understand any of this till my 20s when I had to actually work through it so you know I I really and then I didn't understand why I didn't like love Jesus like people would be like I love Jesus so much they would cry and I'd be like I mean I love him like I guess like I he died for me like I could I could mentally love Jesus but I couldn't emotionally love Jesus and so this is also what you find very often as people are coming into an inner healing Dynamic their head and their heart need to be connected so they might know something in their mind but they can't feel it and that's when you know there's something disconnected between your head and your heart and part of the goal of inner healing is that our emotional realm is back connected with our logic and our intelligence where we don't just know things but we can feel things and there's not a disconnect between what we know and what we feel so it took me a long time to con those things because of in you know Independence and you know having to raise myself in some ways and just various things that and all of us have pain you know all of us have had things that were wrong about our life our upbringing whatever and the the the an important thing is to not compare your pain to someone else and this is really key when you're ministering to somebody because you might think what they went through is kind of no big deal but to them it was a big deal and what's a big deal to a three-year-old isn't a big deal to a 20-year-old but someone can still be trapped in a Trauma from three years old and still living it out even though when they think about it it doesn't seem like that big of a deal to them now but at three the way it fractured them is different than the way it would affect them today and they can't understand why just healing that one memory will actually unlock a whole bunch of things that are they're living out of today right so don't compare pain pain is pain it you know your pain hurt you and it affected you the way it affected you and there's actually not a right or wrong reason for that you know we have to honor people's stories honor their Journeys and don't you know well that wasn't a big deal you know what I mean like just if it affected them and if the holy spirit is bringing it up for them honor that um even if to like your opinion isn't doesn't matter so much in these set in these settings right don't compare pain is pain all right now then with um restoring those things we'll talk about in a few minutes I have my little chart that I can't show you but anyway um but in the family we want to basically repair the areas that have been damaged by broken relationships and a lack of connection so issues with the father will often be modeled with the way that we see the father issues with the mother will often be modeled in the way that we experience and see the Holy Spirit and issues with Jesus will often be reflected in the way we've experienced people like siblings friends um that kind of thing so the family as God designed it would create you know a person who truly can connect with God and themsel and community and would see themselves through the right lenses but often as we know those things become broken and so sin affects the nature of human relationship um at the core starting with the family and so one of the keys of the enemy one of his main strategies is to break people as early as he can as severe as he can right as early as he can as severe as he can because that is what is going to cause the deepest issues the deepest wounds the deepest fracturing and so this is why most of the time we're dealing with when you're dealing with memories and you're dealing forgiveness and things like that you're dealing with more early memories because his assignment on that person's life just like God has an assignment for you well so does he and he and you know we'll talk about this and we talk about curses and family lines and all that kind of stuff but his assignment he will come as early as he can as severe as he can because he wants to damage you as young as he can so that it has the most severe impact on his ability to continue to control your life for the rest of your life and to get you to distrust the father and to get you to separate connection from people and connection from God so that then he can control you and so he knows that if he can bring Division and separation in your family relationships and in your relationship with God then he can essentially destroy Humanity if he can destroy the family he can destroy the city he can destroy the nation he can destroy Society right and so the family really is the core of God's plan the restoration of the family and healthy families are how you rebuild a city you start with the family because that's the first picture of God that we have and so with each generation oftentimes you even see the sin compound you know many of us have experienced that in our own family lines and so at some point somebody's going to have to say it's going to stop it's going to stop with me and not our fault but we're going to choose to take responsibility right so that it doesn't affect our own children all right so most of the roots that people encounter in their healing Journey find their origin in the family space um now we have conscious and unconscious lenses that we received from our family and we'll talk about lenses in a few minutes so the second part of this session we're actually going to talk practically just tools we're going to hit like tools like this and these will all be in the notes as well um and you'll have to learn to use these as you're led by the spirit it's kind of like you're getting a a bucket of things and you're not going to necessarily know how to use them until the holy spirit's like hey that's a lens and you're like oh and you're you're like ask the Holy Spirit do I have a lens so a lot of the um unconscious lenses that we receive are things like what I explained before my parents could never be bad so I see my parents through a lens of everything they did is good everything everything I did is wrong you know where there was a disconnection I must be wrong and so I'm seeing myself with a lens I'm seeing them with a lens but actually the Holy Spirit needs to remove that lens so that I can see myself clearly and I can see them clearly and I can actually receive the healing I need so we have unconscious lenses even the you know we do it we just do it that way well why that's how we do it do you talk about you know no we don't talk about things why that's how we are right so we we velop all these patterns and habits and ways of being from our family some of them are Godly and some of them are not and so sometimes we even get you know confronted if you will in our own life and this is something that you'll have people experience too you get confronted by something that you're like but I thought that was I thought that was totally normal right how many of us have something like that like you grew up away and then someone's like that's weird and you're like what like that's the only way to do it and they're like no no like I've never even heard of that and you're like what are you talking about like that is the only right way and so we happen to you know we learn as we go um that some of the things that are normal to us are not necessarily healthy and so some of those things have to get unraveled but they are hard to recognize some would call it a blind spot right that's why we need the Holy Spirit he reveals these things all right so each of us was like a tree Oak of righteousness if you will handed to gardeners and they had a responsibility to Steward and cultivate you to cultivate Me and Everyone sitting with you everyone you're praying for they were supposed to be stewarded and cultivated now if they were not that has created hurt and pain and damage in their life and so some had really good tools and others didn't right some parents had good tools to do these these things and some parents didn't have good tools and so there's a lot you know if forgiving parents forgiving their own capacity I know a lot of my own journey of healing and forgiving my parents was actually seeing them for who they are and who they were at that time because when you're a child you remember you think your parents are are you don't think they're perfect necessarily but you don't realize sometimes how damaged they were in certain ways you just know that as being your mom or your dad and you know well they just are like that and that's normal but it doesn't mean that it was healthy right and so you know sometimes they didn't have the tools they needed and it makes it easier to forgive them when you actually realize like to the capacity they could they gave it all you know they they did everything they possibly could and this helps with forgiveness it helps with releasing especially when you've had parents that had some pretty major dysfunction um you know you can really that Holy Spirit show me their capacity show me what they really were capable of because some of us have desired for our parents to be something that they could have have never been because they weren't healed they didn't have the tools they needed and so realizing that sometimes even you see someone realize like wow for the capacity my mother had she gave me everything she could and sometimes it's the other way right like they see their parent everything's wrong everything they did was the worst they were the worst at and then when you see them for who they really were you have compassion and you have a different Grace for your parents because you realize they really did do the best they could even though the best they could was maybe like a two out of 10 it was the best they could and so there's just an ability to release them differently and you're not holding everything against them like you know that was more my problem you know seeing everything like well you and you didn't and you could have and the Holy Spirit had to show me my parents and show me who they really were and then I was able to come into a place of compassion and really let go of a lot of things all right all right so some of us which I kind of touched on this already some of us might be angry or at least aware that members of our family really failed to give us what we need and others may feel like it's a strange thing to blame their parents for not meeting our needs because we want to give them them credit you know I like you'll find like somebody with um a single parent for example they'll like they'll praise their parent rightly right because they did everything they possibly could but they they almost will feel bad acknowledging that they still had a need in this way or that way because the other parent wasn't present and so you have to work through that with people it's okay to say my mom was incredible and it's also okay to say I feel really sad because of this with my dad you know and it doesn't say your mom didn't do a great job or she didn't do everything she could but you still had a need in that area that was unmet and God can heal that all right okay so what we choose to ignore we continue to impart what we choose to ignore we continue to impart so we will keep giving our children what we ignore and this is why it's crucial that we do this work with God because we have a new bloodline in Jesus he can restore us as though we were never broken all right so when God's nature has become distorted to us so father son and spirit when God's nature has become distorted to us we often times cannot relate to God correctly we can't hear like a lot of people I can't hear his voice I don't see him I don't I don't know what he thinks about me or you know ask people do you do you hear the voice of God or what's God saying about that well I don't know you know because there's there's just a disconnect there and many of the way the reasons that people can't identify with God will be rooted in the family and so you'll notice as you pray for somebody which we we will do this tonight in the example this is where we will start because I've already done a um a background with the person that we're praying with tonight so um we're going to start with some healing in the family and see kind of where it Springs out from there but you'll see how these rooted things in those young Ages end up distorting the way we see God experience God how we feel about God you know sometimes people need to forgive God you know and how could you need to forgive God he's God he's perfect well forgiveness off offense is real or perceived so offense is not always real sometimes offense is something you thought it was you know I I think they did sometimes people hold offense for years about something someone didn't even do but the offense was real and the offense is still keeping them in bondage because it was their perception so sometimes we need to forgive people and they didn't even do the wrong thing and that includes includes God it's already got into forgiveness but unmet needs okay so what does our family do they meet our needs hypothetically they're supposed to so what happens when they don't meet our needs our needs are not met well we're born needy okay like and some people still are needy and you like oh they so needy well they didn't get some needs met that needed to be met and so they're still kind of stuck in that place of Desiring someone to meet the need and they haven't yet received the healing in that place that's still broken all right we're created to be dependent and our needs need to be met so this isn't the kind of thing where you could be like oh well you shouldn't need that everybody has needs protection provision stability affirmation friendship we need to be seen we need to be heard we need to be loved we need to be encouraged we need to be taught we need emotional intimacy with other people we need connection we need sexual intimacy we need Healthy Touch we need to be understood these are all things that every single person and there's more than that those are just some examples but we all have these needs and when these needs are not met we will find ways to meet our needs healthy or not especially as children and then you know teens we find ways to get our needs met because these needs will scream meet me and this is where you get a lot of addiction and coping mechanisms fetishes Strange Behaviors you know you'll like for example there was somebody um I saw on a show this isn't even a Ministry I did but I saw this I don't even remember why I saw this but there was a woman and she used to take a doll like you know those rubber um baby dolls and she would take the head of the doll and like just rub it on her face constantly like this and it was a it was like a OCD addiction where she would just constantly rub the doll in her face and it was the only way she could feel safe for calm down and it was because of the trauma she experienced when she was very very young like a toddler and she had a doll and that doll had a certain smell had a certain feel and that's the way that she would make herself feel safe you know with all the things going on around her so now she's a 40-year-old woman you know feeling comforted by the feeling of this rubber doll and the smell of it and everything because she's still stuck in Trauma from when she was two or three right so we find ways to meet our needs in the moment right we're unprotected well I feel a little bit safer when I do this or I feel a little bit better when I experience this or I feel seen you know when I act out sexually like this people look at me I feel so you you never know why somebody is doing the things that they're doing but telling them you shouldn't be doing that okay like they might say yeah you're right but you have to get to the root of why why are you doing that behavior why do you feel safe in that why because when you understand why when you get to the root of it you're going to help them actually heal so we do find ways to meet our needs and oftentimes with addiction with Strange Behaviors things like this like there is an unmet need all the way at the root of that and so oftentimes we're asking Jesus you know and you're having the person do this by the way um which we'll talk about in a bit but you have them ask Jesus you know what was the unmet need you know is there an unmet need here and oftentimes God will show them like for example I was praying with somebody recently who um really believed they needed Deliverance in an area and they do but we couldn't really get to what was going on um you know behind they just couldn't like nothing would ever manifest there was just some struggles there um and so we said hey let's start with some inner healing because you'll find often people will not um they can't really get to a place of Deliverance until the place in the soul is healed where that demon is holding on to if that makes sense the soul is the house of all demonic activity which again we'll talk about a lot more in depth when we talk about Deliverance but a healthy soul is inhospitable to Demons an unhealthy soul is Disneyland they will build all kind of houses there they will never get them out you can Jesus them and blood a Jesus and throw oil on people all you want those demons will never leave because they have made a home and the person will not deal with the place that the demons live they live in wounds in unmet needs in trauma like that's what they're holding on to and so this is why the foundational level of healing the soul is essential you can't go to Deliverance without healing the soul and sometimes it goes back and forth like someone might get delivered of something first and then you do more Soul healing it's not like a it has to be in a certain order but the foundational understanding that the soul has to be healthy it's you it has to you just you don't have an option to avoid it you know um so for examp so I was praying with this guy and um he he just couldn't he just couldn't feel anything you know and we said I want you to ask the Holy Spirit when did this begin you know there's some really simple questions sometimes that you ask said when did this begin and the holy spir and what we were talking about was this um this this idea that God doesn't talk to him like because we'd say well what's God saying about that and he'd say nothing I don't hear God and we said Okay I want to try out a different thing let's not talk to the father right now let's talk to the holy spirit so you'll find this too sometimes you'll switch up who they're talking to and suddenly they can hear why it's not because one L ask ECT of God is speaking it's because the person thems has a total block to interacting with certain you know parts of the godhead so I said let's ask the Holy Spirit what like where did this begin simple question so he closes his eyes and he sees himself at a table when he was maybe seven years old and he was asking his dad for help with his homework and his dad said no I'm not helping you with that you should already understand and refused to help him and so at that point he believed a lie right which you'll you'll find again believing lies is a major aspect of why we stay stuck but he believed a lie that he wasn't worthy of being seen and being helped and you know that that he just needed to figure it out he shouldn't ask for help and so his seven-year-old self believed that from that day forward and that was the root of him not hearing the father because he felt like the father didn't want to talk to him and it didn't he couldn't ask him questions because he wouldn't respond and so this is where you get to the root sometimes and he's been living this way for 30 years since then right and so then you get to the root you heal that memory but now what what has to happen you has to forgive his dad for that memory you know and I think we brought Jesus into that memory as well and Jesus helped him with his homework or I can't fully remember but the point was God will heal the root and everything that was coming from that root falls off that's kind of the essence of inner healing you deal with things at the very very core at the very start at the very beginning because you want everything that has sprung and grown out of that unhealthy place to wither away and die and you want the Holy Spirit to begin to cultivate the health that's only found in the true Garden which is Jesus right Jesus is the restoration of all health and everything we want to grow right out of the vine and so as our before we will find ways to get our needs met and so unmet needs produces coping behaviors emotional issues addiction like substances pornography um like I said before fetishes Strange Behaviors um and most often these needs um you know or I already talked about that disconnection from the father um another thing is physical sickness which I think we did mention but oftentimes you will see physical sickness healed as Soul issues are healed because sometimes the root of some of those things um I don't I don't need to tell another story for a sake of time but I have many stories about people being healed like simultaneously um and one of the things I've even done in an inner healing session is at the end of a time of praying with somebody I've called the body into the order that has taken place in the spirit so almost like and you'll see this too in next week when we talk about more severe trauma is you know calling the body to release you know si uh grief and sin and everything that's been done against the body releasing that and you'll see sometimes people come you know their back will be healed um you know different things that have happened to them different trauma accidents that were as a result of trauma the pain goes away um so that's a that's really cool as well so a lot of things are tied in physically emotionally spiritually all right um I talked about capacity a little bit before but um you know often people are like a cup so I talked about capacity when it comes to our parents but I want to talk about capacity with somebody you're ministering to one person might have an immense capacity to quickly address things someone else might not and you have to let the Holy Spirit lead sometimes as a minister you might have crazy discernment you might have amazing words of knowledge you might be able to see that person's whole life and identify all seven things wrong with them right now but do not overstep the boundaries of the Holy Spirit the holy the Holy Spirit has to lead because he knows the person's capacity he knows what they can take you know if that person has a cup this big and you're like but this but this but this and you're you're feeding them like so much information and let's go into this and you know it's like four hours of inner healing that's a long time you know you really want to make sure because sometimes I'll ask people hey let's ask the Holy Spirit are we done for now it doesn't mean that like there's nothing else that I can discern or there's nothing else we could possibly do it's not like you're a checklist where you want to get through every single possible thing you could heal with a person healing sometimes like somebody needs to sustain it for a minute like you need to build a new foundation and then they need to like walk around there and they need to get like comfortable in that space and you'll feel a check in your spirit like I feel like we're done honor that because just because you feel like well I know more and I'm sensing more don't go beyond the boundaries that the holy spirit is setting for the person because he knows what that person can handle and what they can sustain and to you that might not seem like a lot but to them it might be major you know that two things that God did in their life like I went I went through someone one time they like forgave a couple people we healed a memory and then we like one other thing and then the Holy Spirit was like that's it I was just like I mean like barely did anything like for that person that was like major those were significant you know traumas in their life and they need to sit in that health for a minute and learn how to live in the new place so that's a part two of understanding healing as a holistic journey of sunship coming into the nature of Christ over time so we're not trying to think get the appointment done right we're trying to think what does the person need right now do that keep shut it down keep moving let the Holy Spirit direct and guide um another thing too uh with capacity that is important is thinking like a um you know when you have sand by the beach and there's these specific grasses that grow in those areas and um often times I'll tell you like don't step on the dunes you know they'll have fences all around because if you destroy the root system that's grown down into the sand it could actually affect the erosion of the whole entire Beach and potentially you know cause flooding and different things because the roots grow down really really deep and it's holding everything together so some people their soul is so fractured and all of the ways they've learn to cope and live and everything it's so um it's so broken like there's so many small pieces that that's why God is putting it together really slowly because if you go hard and you pull out a whole bunch of these giant Roots the person them themselves like they don't know how to live in Freedom and so the Holy Spirit has to to guide that because we can pull out too like a giant root system and now the person just feels lost like they they don't know how to cope with that does that make makes sense so you don't want to actually heal people beyond their capacity to to keep it let God set the pace
