hello this video is a guide on how to beat Chia Cho um I welcome criticism on the pronunciation but it's a guide on how to beat the boss at the end of the dungeon in 8-22 now before I hit play on the video uh just a couple of things to note try to clear out the whole map if you can try to collect all the artifacts the more artifacts the better time you're going to have be nice to the other candidates in the dungeon when you have the option because they might give you a gift and that is more useful than just killing them getting coins but anyway let's get right into it so let me hit play on the replay okay and you'll see that I have cleared out the entire map and I am ready to go for the battle uh one cool trick you'll see here is I enter the boss arena right and you can go back to the boss arena by backing out of the fight if you lose but if you want to go back and change your team press the gear icon and press two checkpoint in the middle there and you can go back to the checkpoint and change your team now briefly let's talk about my team there are two core units Muro and Yiss okay you want Muro and you want Yiss both for their default egos uh Crossey View and Chains of Others both of those are extremely strong egos let me pause the replay and explain why for a second chains of Others inflicts attack power down next turn crossey View inflicts attack power down same turn and they stack so if you're really struggling on any boss fight Eong and Muro is the goated combo because they will just [ __ ] very strong enemies really quick regarding Honglu you can rent any ID for Hongloo although it's free so rent's kind of the wrong word in the support tab so you can use this exact same ting tong gang leader hunglu I'm using which is why I brought a a rental unit instead of using my own hungloo i might like my own better because I wanted to show that I'm using the same ones available to you guys last thing to note about team comp try to just get at least like three units who can clash that's why I brought these three the other units you know like lobc vow multicrack Heathcliffe and LCB Muro I just brought to kind of show that you don't need a fully optimized team to do this but you try to get a couple of units who can clash i brought the really old W Corp units um just to show again the optimization isn't important but there you go okay let's keep going on the replay now so this boss fight has four phases it has a phase zero where you fight the four mukes then after phase zero the actual boss has three phases i'll put timestamps in the description to each phase um but do try to at least watch a bit of every phase so you can see the overall strategy come together all right so phase zero here we go let's get the green marker back out the thing to do in phase zero is twofold number one build sanity that's the most obvious you have these really easy free clashes and you should just take them to get sanity number two use ego now you may be thinking "Why the hell should I use ego this early in the fight?" Okay well you you'll have plenty of resources cuz you just went through a whole monstrously long dungeon so resources aren't a problem and ego passives last the entire battle and stack so any passive abilities you want active for the rest of the fight use them now contempt a on Rioshu her vow ego probably as the best passive in the game so I I actually have that ego equipped i'm just not using it because I know a lot of players don't have that ego um Red Eyes is what I choose to use cuz Red Eyes has a great passive um another one with a great passive would be something like Sunshower on Eison because it gives sanity healing to your whole team every turn just whatever you know whatever egos you have that you have passives you like just use them the first turn so you can get those passives on especially if you grab that artifact by being nice to the guy on the first floor that provides 10 sanity healing a turn so now the sanity cost of using ego's turn to one isn't as bad cuz you'll get passive sanity in fact there's even ego that'll counteract this whole dilemma like fluid sack so there you go but okay now I'm going to skip ahead a bit because phase zero is probably not why you're struggling with this fight i just wanted to get out that basic strategy about phase zero right away and there we go you'll just see that I set up more clashes and so I do this for about 5 minutes um I stall as long as humanly possible if I can get my sanity as high as possible um but all good things must come to an end and eventually it's time to move on to phase one which is what we'll see here in a second now when we get to phase one I'm going to pause and we're going to I'm going to outline the basic strategy then we're going to watch a couple of full turns of it we'll we'll skip ahead a bit and then we'll go to phase two but let's pause for a moment and review the strategy for phase one okay Zelu is invincible this woman cannot die and there is no point in using strong attacks on her this entirety of phase one you'll only see me use weak attacks against Zelu or defense skills to dodge in fact Zelu gets stronger when her health drops below like 75 or 50% i don't exactly remember the threshold so there's really you're disincentivized from hitting her uh although she doesn't get that much stronger so it's not a huge deal but but there you go so no need to really fight Zelu it's this guy we want to be hitting and we want to get him down to like uh we need to take away I think do like a thousand damage to him or something i'm not quite sure the exact threshold but we'll see it at the end of this uh segment so let's hit play and you'll see how I approach this dilemma and do okay so first thing is I'm just I turn on the low arrows mode and I'm just checking who Zelu is attacking and I notice she has two attacks going towards Faust so I can just set up a dodge with Foust and then I'll be good to go um cuz Foust will just ideally dodge all her attacks i can hit her with a really weak charge generating skill from Yung and then over here uh with uh Gia Chowo um just starting to dump some damage and get things going uh build up some charge on Rioshu i was just checking to see if she had enough charge but she doesn't for the full nuke just doing a bit of damage and with uh Muro here's why identity doesn't matter because all you're going to do with Muro is use chains of others you will not see for the rest of this fight a single turn go by where Muro is not using ego because it's that crucial to the strategy it's such a strong ego chains of others okay let's just see things keep going unbreakable coin comes through you know whatever there she gets some hits in hungu goes in now this is a disaster faust screws up her dodge and gets a bunch of damage stripped off her by Zelu but hey these things happen so and now the strategy comes fully online okay so let's look at that skill curse RIP Butcher Blade if I go back just a second that back on screen it's gone um it back here i'll be right back we need to talk about how to deal with curse rip butcher blade cuz that's hamstringing a lot of players okay so curse rip butcher blade rolls extremely high this is no joke inflicts a limillion rupture and it has unbreakable coin this is everything bad in attack skill other than attack weight so how do we deal with it well this is where Yeong our goat comes in okay so Yissong is going to use an ego crow's eye view that inflicts same turn attack power down so you can have Yissong clash with the skill break the skill breaking it will reduce its coin power to one and Crow's eye view will have inflicted attack power down reducing the base power by two so this goes from a skill that rolls a 21 to a skill that has a base power of four with a coin power of one so it becomes a skill that rolls a seven uh so yeah way weaker so that's how we deal with curs butcher blade and that's how we're going to deal with a lot of the other strong attacks the rest of this fight especially if we already had chains of others on the target now this time of course Shane's about on the other guy but um it just depends now I do decide to clash her startling strike with crow's eye view instead um and I'll have another center clash with cursor Butcher Blade but it's just because um that the attack power down lasts the whole turn so it doesn't it doesn't have to line up exactly once you get the hit off you're good to go okay not a lot else to say about this turn it's the same strategy muro is going to go he's going to apply chains to one of the two targets of your choice um and then the other people are going to go and just try to do as much uh damage as possible to Gia get through him skip ahead i'm a pretty slow limus company player not like stupid but literally slow i take a long time to make decisions so sometimes my replays can get a bit long and here we go we're going to see the two attack power down go off her beautiful now she's uh swinging at our team but we're good to go because I her and there we go we'll see cursor at Butcher Blade only rolls seven instead of 21 oh I guess I did the math wrong our unbreakable coins must go down to plus two instead of plus one for some reason that's still pretty weak we're just doing damage 100 damage not bad not bad at all i screwed up and had him uh unopposed attack so he got intercepted by um assist defense but it's just a minor mistake doesn't matter that much and it means that Mercedes defense zerist defense i don't know why I was starting my worst there just more of this nothing different at all we're going to skip ahead a little bit cuz this is the exact same as last turn skip ahead yep you'll see that we're just in the same boat this would have been a good chance for me to heal uh as we're getting close to phase two but I was intentionally not healing not because it's a good move if you can heal you should absolutely but just because I'm again I'm trying to show off like worst possible scenario where your account has literally no healing stuff and so I was just trying to thug it out as much as I could without him there we go he lose the clash but the flash this was actually a pretty bad turn one flash failed and another attack just missed but okay the phase two here in a second you might be wondering why Don Kyote attacked Zelu it was just purely to get for charge up it wasn't for damage it's cuz leap gives a bunch of charge okay same deal we got curs butcher blade coming in chains are on her though so she's weak cuz Muroa's been using chains every single turn i can use Yong especially cuz he's going first that was lucky apply attack power down to her with Crossey View when I queue that up in a moment um and then we're just trying to deal some damage let's see if I remember to use Crosai View might have forgotten yeah I forgot that was not intentional but that would have been the right move there to make her unbreakable coins but I was kind of playing on autopilot i literally just forgot to do it i try to keep my mistakes in and not reset the whole run um to show that you don't need the perfect run to kill these bosses dunked on a bit ouch let's skip ahead a bit there is 40 minutes of footage again because I'm a slow complete player so I'm trying to save you some time this was a good flash though not every flash goes okay so one thing that did happen off camera was my FA actually died um but because I collected all the artifacts she respawned thanks to the Gia family bolis um which gives your units one free respawn um or I think that's shared across your whole team though it's not one free respawn for every single center that'd be overpowered so FA did respawn and how she died I I screwed up she attacked a skill that had unbreakable coin um but uh yeah she just had a bunch of rupture on her so even though the unbreakable point didn't do that much damage to the rupture but okay so phase two I got a bit distracted there explaining how the geo family bolts works sorry so phase two is all about this guy here and this skill not not startling strike that's from them but this skill here needs to be clashed by Honglu because every time he's surrounded by all his bodyguards he'll attack Honglu and if Honglu wins the clashes you gain dialogue and Honglu needs three stacks of dialogue to win this fight you absolutely cannot afford to skip any of the opportunities you have to get dialogue hunglu must clash and he must win every single time that's why even though I was dominating with a normal skill I still chose to use ego because you can't even afford the 1% chance you're going to lose the dominating clash it's that important so Land of Illusion refunds his whole sanity bar that he uses up because it costs 15 but it gives you 15 back so that's perfect for this because there's no downside anyway let's keep going the replay i went all the way back to present back to phase two sorry about that okay here we go we're back to healing up for clashes and you can see I immediately no hesitation use Land of Illusion just to make sure I can win that clash no matter what as for everyone else it's the same it's the same story you've heard a thousand times before use crow's eye view on Zelu to weaken her unbreakable coins um to try to rein in Zelu's damage a bit and then just clash all of the units on the side those little Mau uh ho pack soldiers are going to disappear every other turn and they respawn even if you kill them so there's no reason for you to try to go for the kill on the other unit it doesn't matter at all don't get skimpy on this segment just just go for the win go for those winning clashes heal as much as you can don't get overconfident yep longloo gets staggered by the unbreakable coin clapback but hey you already won the clash so we already got our first stack of dialogue great now between his sessions where he coaches you and gives you dialogue he does the beat beat him up section so there's six turns in total in phase two the beat him up section you're not going to kill him he has way too much shield so your only goal is don't die that's all that matters don't die okay but don't try to do damage don't try to pull anything crazy off just don't die we will see a mistake I make here in a moment and I'll point it out and I left the mistake in i didn't restart the run just to show that you can play a bad run and still win and I'll show you the mistake when it's a bit more obvious because it might seem like everything's good right now but I'm actually doing something stupid get my Let's get back okay there we go now the stupid thing was with Foust faustst has 25 rupture on her and 90 HP she's clashing an unbreakable coin with four skills or four a skill with four unbreakable coins so even though I win this clash easily minimum I take 100 damage and that's exactly what happens he just ruptures or whatever this is a total fiasco it wouldn't be so bad if I had units on the bench to replace her after she dies but again I was trying to be very like you know economical with my units to show that the strategy works but that was that was a total fiasco however even after that misplay just keep following the plan of not dying in his every other turn and then going in to get the dialogue on those main turns and things still work out just fine okay another session to get dialogue plate of illusion goes up immediately everyone else just braces for impact and tries not to die to Zu and the other Hoack while Hungu gets his clash off to get dialogue since this is the same as the other turn I explained the skills used are identical i am going to skip out of it there we go see that i hit him he was really weak for chains that's why he was so low attack power and Hungu was able to take almost no damage clap back same thing going on with Gong he's going in to hit with Brosai View lower her attack power and that neuters her first rip butcher blade to stop me from so go in apply chain if you're using Verso in this dungeon there is no reason not to have him use chains every single turn this turn same thing this turn spread out that those red coins where you can to stop people dying Okay last turn of phase two just same deal hungu goes into clash to get that juicy juicy dialogue everyone else is trying not to [Music] die go phase three okay so phase three the first thing you should do in phase three is everyone should be using defense skills to try to defend themselves from taking any unnecessary damage you can't damage him this turn or at least not in any amount that matters so your only goal is try not to die that's the first turn of phase one get some off life unfortunately my stagger is speed now the bad part is that this staggers your whole team which uh is a problem when they have rupture on them because now he's using his attack white skill and uh you're going to see it actually kill a bunch of people on my team now all right here it comes another fiasco any healing okay so phase three i'm down to only four people left but Project Moon anticipates that you're going to have had some deaths so they make him only have four skills instead of seven skills in phase three he's slowed down by a little less than half so even though my team is looking super dry uh we're on equal ground now so it's not that big of a deal phase three is by far the easiest phase to deal with at all the phases and the battle plan does not change maro will use chains every single turn for the rest of the encounter and then uh everyone else will clash or evade whatever they can and I do this for 10 minutes and I'm good he gets a massive 24 defense level down in phase three to make him take extra damage um cuz Project Moon knows you don't want to try to sit here and do 2,000 damage to him but it's just how it goes [Music] i do what I can nice damage where I Hunglu dies however dialogue gives you free respawns per the stack of dialogue so since he has three dialogue he can respawn three times this isn't including things like Kia Bolis if you haven't had its activation go off yet or dimension shredder which Tink Hunglu if you rent him comes with for free and Dimension Shredder grants a revive as well so potentially your hungloo could be reviving five times because you'll have dimension shredder since it's free on the rental you'll get the GF family bulis because it's clearly the best option in the dungeon when you approach it when you reach its node um and you'll get three sacks of dialogue so your hung loop could revive five times um thankfully mine only had to revive once this run i calculate my charge wrong which is a bit embarrassing but it happens [Music] okay I am This is long cuz I had so many people die this goes on for another 8 minutes and every single turn is identical so I am going to skip ahead a bit after this just to kind of show duging it out yep same deal use the same red skill and we're just deflecting it however we can multitude another couple minutes multitude and because I was playing uh lazy um again I'm just like not healing or anything this is not the optimal way to clear but it is a surefire way i mean this worked for me on my first try i didn't have to re-record this once i just went in and fought him this team at really basic units i had to edit this part out because I um opened my work email so it was showed all my personal information on the screen not exactly this should be the last turn we'll watch it together and see how the fight ends of course I've edited there's there won't be any dialogue so I have the ending parted out as well so you don't get surprises 1700 health approximately let's do that one more looks like hit him he's down to 1698 and that's where the fight ends is at 1698 health so there you go i hope this video was helpful i really hope you can get through this dungeon and enjoy the rest of Kanto8 and good luck out there managers
