Community and Family Studies (CAFS)

Course Overview

  • Stage Six Course: Offered in Years 11 and 12.
  • Course Duration: Two 120-hour courses, contributing to ATAR.
  • Life Skills Course: Available in Community and Family Studies.
  • Year 11: Three core modules.
  • Year 12: Three cores plus an option, and an Independent Research Project (IRP).
  • Examination: CAF's HAC exam - 3-hour paper.
