it's time for the 2024 master plan and yes that is completely different from a vision board so let me teach you in this video I'm going to be sharing all of the steps that I'm doing in 2024 to become my best self year and to create my dream life but a 2.0 version of what it already is because 2023 I well and truly went and achieved all of my goals so this video is going to be split into six different sections while I explain all of the things I'm implementing in each category of my life to improve it don't for get that I have a brand new podcast called self-obsessed available on both Apple music and Spotify with exclusive content every single week so check it out it's linked Below in the description along with all of my other socials chapter number one self-education because learning doesn't stop after school okay my biggest aspiration in life is to be an intelligent woman and in order to create the life that I desire I have to constantly be learning and there are a few different tools I use in order to do this the first thing is podcasts I really want to filter out as much other media that I'm consuming and replace it with podcast content when I do my Glam in the morning before I'm filming I used to either listen to music or I'd have like a casual Netflix show on in the background in the New Year I'm only going to be having podcast content on and I'm currently in the process of searching for new podcasts because I constantly want to be learning new things I feel like my podcast game was strong but I was only consuming podcasts that everybody speaks about that were like easy to find so on purpose by J Shetty or di of a CEO by Steven bartler two amazing podcasts and I truly have learned so much from them but I want to take responsibility of what I am learning by taking the time to research other podcasts that will benefit me so I listened to my first new podcast today it's called girls that invest and it's by this girl called Simon call I read her book this summer absolutely changed my life follow her on Instagram she's an amazing amazing South Asian woman who educates young women everywhere on how to manage and grow their finances so simple type into Tik Tok sell self-development podcast recommendations and it will come up with all these videos of people showing their favorites and that's how you find new more Niche podcasts or what I've been doing is I've been taking my New Year's goals from my vision board and then I type in those terms on Spotify so for example I really want to be an angel investor and I know absolutely nothing about it but the other day I typed in Angel Investing on Spotify and I downloaded all of the podcasts under there the reason this is so important is because of the quote you are the average of The Five People You spend the most time with and we all know how difficult it is you know to find friends that align with you and are going to influence you positively when it comes to your aspirations in life that is a lifelong journey and if you found them well done but if you're in the process of that the books you read the content you consume online like your YouTube videos and the podcast you listen to are your five closest people who are going to influence your mindset and where you go in life the second tool I'm going to be using is my reading schedule now if you've been here for a while you already know I'm so big on self-help books it's all I read and if you want my top reading recommendations I have a highlight on my Instagram page and I have an entire YouTube video Shar the self up books that changed my life but the swap I'm going to be making in 2024 is a difficult one when I think about it but I'm going to start reading every single evening because I want to improve my circadian rhythm and I recently just learned about the dangers of scrolling on your phone at night you know absorbing all of that blue light and consuming all of that content right before you go to sleep is just really bad for you so my new challenge to myself is to leave my phone charging in this room and then go into my bedroom over there and read until it makes me fall asleep it's so much better at sending you into a deeper sleep of higher quality and it's teaching you something right before you go to bed which I think actually raises your vibration when you are scrolling on something like Tik Tok right before bed you don't know what content is about to come up you could be about to like consume something so negative that drains you you or makes you overthink and then you're waking up the next morning and that's the last thing that you thought about ew like we're not about to do that the third self-education tool I'm going to be using is the power of networking I truly discovered this in 2023 I started saying yes to as many things as I could and majority of them terrified me and I did it anyway because stepping outside of your comfort zone is the key to developing discipline and growing as a person and I learned this lesson from a networking event I turned up to this summer and I was speaking to this woman so inspiring she actually works at Bentley so cool and she was telling me that whenever she gets invited to speak at something to go to an event to meet people to network she just says yes and then she worries about the details later and I was like what she was like I'll just say yeah and then I'll worry about how I'm going to get there or what the schedule's going to be or how I feel about it later because all of those Logistics and feelings and emotions are going to get in the way and hold me back from doing something that could benefit my growth I am channeling her energy in 2024 because a lot of the time I worry too much about oh but I don't really want to do it or oh I'm too shy or oh it's going to take too long m- because one Mantra I've been living by this week as well is every single day has the power to change your life every single day has an opportunity and you have no idea what it is and how exciting is that I'm going to leave my apartment later to go and do a grocery shop but like what if I meet someone there on the way what if I have a positive interaction with a stranger what if I see something out on the street that inspires me to make my next decision in life you literally don't know and turning up to these events with new people like-minded people in new places in different cities does exactly that in fact it accelerates that experience of self growth lastly with this point I want to link it into this thing that I read online the other day and this person wrote a tweet that said the quickest way to change realities is to cut off people that only know the old version of you what can I tell you my draw dropped when I read this and my advice with this is don't take it literally like if you have childhood best friends that have always been there for you and you guys are right or die like no you can have those friends but I think apply this in 2024 in the sense that don't just accept what you've been given so far and what is only working let that be there you know I have my childhood friends but that doesn't stop me from going out and trying to meet new people over and over you need to mix your inner circle up by going out and trying to find people that align with your future because all of the friends you have so far from school and that you've grown up with they are a part of your past and they are great and they're going to give you so much love in your life which is so important but they might not necessarily influence you on your growth journey and so it's your responsibility to change your Reality by finding people now as you're continuously evolving and growing into newer versions of you you are making a very big mistake if you keep talking to the same old people going to the same old places and still think you're going to get a brand new and improved life fourth self-education tool I'm going to be using is online education courses so I've already been using skillshare this year but two weeks ago I actually signed up to a new one that I'm going to be using throughout 2024 it's called master class this is basically where celebrities will teach you their skills and I am obsessed with it you don't have to use these platforms use whatever you want you can use YouTube like in itself that is like a University online but it is your responsibility to action all of those goals that you're putting on your vision board so I want you to look at your vision board every single day and think okay I put Angel Investing what am I doing every single day to actually achieve that and the last self-education tool I'm going to be using in 2024 is all about language learning this has been my goal for years and I am ashamed to say I haven't been the best at sticking at it but I'm changing this in 2024 because I've realized the steps I've taken to try and learn a new language so far it hasn't stuck I haven't been consistent so it's my respon responsibility to change my routine and approach to that and that's why I've recently signed up to a platform called lingoda I used to do the basic thing that everyone does by like downloading a language free app like on the app store and just doing the little courses and I did it for a while but my issue with this is I was learning all of the translations like the words right but I wasn't learning how to become fluent how to actually form different sentences together so the reason that I made the switch to lingoda and I'll taking their classes all throughout 2024 is that they have made it their priority to fill that Gap that so many of us struggle with when it comes to successfully learning a language and this is that you will have online Zoom lessons with teachers that will teach you French this means you don't even need to leave your home in order to actually properly learn a language it takes away that barrier of not actually efficiently learning how to speak fluently when it comes to apps you can do one-on-one lessons or group lessons which I love lingoda lessons are designed with the student in mind so that you can actually talk and practice your pronunciation and your teacher will spot your mistakes and help you correct them as you move along and if you're someone who align to the highest version of myself step number one is Cafe work the focus of this is to achieve an uninterrupted workflow and I'm going to combine this with having an accountability partner now I dabbled in this in 2023 but I think my biggest downfall so far was kind of prioritizing Comfort guys I know embarrassing but basically as a work from home girly I took that option A lot of the time cuz it's like I don't have to do my hair in the morning I can stay in cozy clothes but when you're in your home you're still in that Comfort State of Mind nobody else is around you motivating you to go harder there are so many distractions so many other choices you can go lay on your bed you can scroll on your phone if you work somewhere like a library or a cafe you have loads of other people doing the exact same thing working on their laptops and it's peer pressure it pushes you to work harder plus because you have to get dressed in the morning and physically leave your home and your comfy bed you know I'm going to go there and I'm going to squeeze as much productivity as I can out the next 2 3 hours before I can come home and actually do what I want and then your brain Associates your living space with actually living and relaxing and having fun and you know as soon as I leave then it's work time and you kind of create these two distinct environments and your brain can switch between different Focus modes according to that the next step is my favorite and this is my new morning routine I've spent the last few years trying to establish the most successful morning routine and so much of it has contributed to my own personal development but I'm going to be adding a few extra steps in there so for example with my brand new vision board every single morning when I'm brushing my teeth I stare at this at the same time that's 2 minutes of taking in all of these goals because there's literally no point of having a vision board if you're not going to look at it to visualize your dream reality constantly because that is actually what helps manifest everything thing and then another thing I've started using as a skin care tool it's an LED face mask this already I've seen so many good results with um reducing any hyperpigmentation or post acne scarring on my face um it also just makes me feel like that girl when I do it it has an automatic 3 Minute Timer so while that 3 Minute Timer face mask is on I meditate this instantly increases my vibrations it helps with my manifestation Powers um and I do that first thing every day so that I can set the best tone for every single day all throughout 2023 I was already waking up early and going to the gym and kind of prioritizing that which is great and I'm going to be continuing that while also just prioritizing real dopamine sources so like less of having a sugary breakfast or scrolling on my phone and laying in bed and more of going in a walk in the morning if I don't feel like going to the gym or doing it after the gym listening to a podcast instead of music or you know consuming social media getting out in nature un underneath the sun taking my supplements and lastly a really important factor of my morning routine is waking up and prioritizing Joy you guys know how big I am on romanticizing life and I think the worst most depressing way to start your day every day is to be rushing around like waiting until the last minute to get out of bed to start your tasks no I would rather wake up an hour earlier and take it slow I'm going to make a matcha I'm just going to stare out the window and watch the sunrise that way I start every single day on my own terms and I don't dread with waking up because I know the first hour is just for me and the last step for this chapter is a new mindset when it comes to friendships and just my interactions with other people my filtering process for who I allow into my life has become more and more extravagant as time has gone on in 2024 I am not playing around um I have always kind of just tried to sus people out before I become friends with them like my mindset as of now is I don't care if you're nice I don't care if you're loyal and I don't care if you're fun to hang around with like that doesn't mean you get access to me and get to be my friend because somebody can be all of those things and do you know what the biggest killer is of a of a healthy friendship low self-esteem and I know everyone's healing and everyone's on their journey and I totally respect that but I have enough boundaries and I've been on my healing Journey enough to set the standard that if you are still insecure you're not allowed in my life because it is just a breeding ground for resentment and jealousy and comparison and there is no healthy friendship that will come of that my stand s now are not just kindness and loyalty and alignment with interests and goals but I want you to love yourself like I need you to speak so highly of yourself and be so self-obsessed and because of having that harsh standard I can truly say I have the most aligned most badass friends I have ever had like these people are so cool and they actually recognize that they're cool and I love them for it I need to be around people who are out there achieving so many boss things that when I achieve something cool they congratulate me but they're not like oh my God this is the best thing ever because they are so aware of the abundance that is available in life that they're still leaving me room to keep achieving they don't think oh you've achieved your goals or you're doing so good like slow down no they're still encouraging me to keep going because that is exactly what they're doing we have the same abundance mindset in life and we are constantly striving for more and as a result we are constantly positively influencing each other chapter number three appearance and glow up I'm going to be really real with you guys I'm so happy with how I look for the first time in my life like I love everything about how I look I normally start every single New Year like I need to glow up I need to get prettier how can I look like this person no I love myself so much I'm like what glow up wear has been done baby so for this chapter I'm going to share some more Niche steps that I'm taking or just elaborate on things I've done that have kind of gotten me to this place so the first thing is to stop following Trends I am so into my full Glam love look like I'm not wearing lashes right now but recently I've started to wear falsies and it makes me feel like that girl I love it I will go grocery shopping in an extravagant outfit for coat sunglasses and fake lashes I don't care because it makes me feel so confident do you know how I Str outside like a super model and I am 100% taking that energy into the new year like I know clean girl aesthetic and like minimal makeup is the trend and it's cute it's just not my thing and I am straying away from that because I am more focused on what's going to make me feel like that girl not what makes everybody else feel like that girl once you actually take the time to figure out your likes and what lights you up inside you'll actually feel so amazing every single day and I think the greatest way to figure this out is to start being more conscious of what you're liking on social media what's inspiring you like your favorite characters in movies what do they wear what do they look like what are their values your favorite influences all of your Pinterest saves what is the common theme my next step in appearance is to stop overspending and impulse buying which is so hard because I just love shopping it's my favorite thing in the whole wide world but here's the way that I'm stopping this over Black Friday sales I did a lot of shopping but I'm really conscious with the things that I do buy now so for example I have super staple pieces that's not the same staple pieces that every other person has just things that I know I can restart over and over so like this top for example I got a bunch of skims tops because I can wear them with everything because I have consciously started shopping so that everything in my wardrobe goes together so in 2024 I'm basically going to continue this where if I go into a store and want something I have to ask myself a series of questions will I still wear this in 5 years does this go with at least five other items in my closet do I have anything that's already similar to this does this align with my personal style or am I attracted to this because it's trendy could I find this at a more affordable price elsewhere and when it comes to clothing as well another big thing that I'm bringing into 2024 is I want to dress like my higher self I'm not out here trying to dress for the occasion I'm going to dress how I want to dress because I am dressing in alignment with my higher self I am dressing for the life that I am going to have I am dressing for Success every single day I'm not dressing to blend in with the masses because I don't want what the masses have the next glowup tip I just recently started is doing high maintenance things to be low maintenance so in the last week of December I actually got an eyebrow treatment these are powder brows and it's a form of a an eyebrow tattoo and this basically just saves me time with doing my eyebrows every single day they are fleaky they look perfect in 2024 I'm also going to start laser hair removal I actually bought the Phillips at home laser hair removal device 2 years ago guys and I haven't used it once because I've been too lazy to do it so my New Year's resolution is to do that just so I can save time I also get a manicure once a month it just means that my hands are always good looking put together and I don't have to worry ever about having chipped nail polish um and then on top of that every single Sunday is called self-care Sundays and this is where I will wash my bed sheets wash my makeup brushes do a face mask or like under eye masks I will oil my hair that is so important to the health of my hair I will paint my toenails I do my pedicures at home do some lash serum drink a green juice meditate do what I want to relax and just keep my stress levels at Bay chapter four health and fitness I took this so seriously in 2023 and I am not stopping anytime soon in fact I'm going to like crack down on these even more in 2024 like no off days no comfort zone prioritizing logic over emotion always and the first step to this is no processed foods I am currently in the process for 2024 of training myself to get the ick at processed foods and one of the ways I'm doing that is like searching podcasts for example on processed foods um Steven Bartlett's podcast has a lot of great episodes from nutrition and health experts on like why sugar is bad for you why you should cut out processed foods gut health tips and that's really my PRI priority because if anything recently I've learned that beauty truly comes from the inside I was looking at pictures of myself from two years ago and I used to have the most like puffy face I've always struggled with acne but 2 years ago when I didn't focus on what I was eating I had the worst cystic acne like my entire forehead would be covered in zits every part of my face it was horrendous ever since I stopped eating like frozen foods desserts I don't I wouldn't never eat cereal oras on for breakfast like that's the worst thing for you um I learned that I have a sugar intolerance but not going to lie even if I wasn't intolerant sugar I would not eat it no refined sugars like my sugar comes from either dark chocolate or fruits inflammatory foods too so that comes from like really processed white bread white potatoes I've made the switch to sweet potatoes I don't buy crisps or sweets or candies to keep in the house but if I'm out with friends and I'm at a restaurant and they want to order a side of french fries I'm all for it this links into my breakfast every sing one morning I have a green juice for breakfast so that's normally like kale kiwi um spinach Ginger turmeric and water that I'll drink in a smoothie form and then afterwards I'll have a low sugar protein shake it's really good for you to start your morning with greens and protein because a lot of people eat like high sugar refined things for breakfast and it just spikes your blood sugar which will then lead to things like acne and inflammation in the body I was doing intimate and fasting at the start of 2023 and then I just kind of stopped like I fell off with that habit and 2024 I am doing it all year long once again I've just started it recently to make sure that it's a habit by the time 2024 starts and this just makes me feel so much more amazing in the day it's helped me reduce Cravings it you literally get to eat whatever you want but just in an 8 Hour window and when it's not those 8 hours you are drinking tea and tea helps so much because there's so much powerful antioxidants and nutritional benefits from drinking peppermint tea green tea I personally drink a lot of spearmint tea because it has so many benefits for your skin another thing when it comes to health is supplements so I'll take a turmeric supplement a zinc supplement and a silica supplement every morning those are all things that benefit my skin um I'll take iron because I'm deficient in it and I'll take vitamin D CU I'm deficient in that I'll take collagen also really good for your skin and then in terms of Fitness consistency is my main goal for 2024 and I didn't know this before you know I used to try and force myself to go to the gym every other day to do the exact same exercise and it just made me Bor and I didn't want to do it and then I skip a few days and then all of a sudden it had been 3 weeks and I hadn't been to the gym it's terrible so in 2024 I'm starting this new thing where I have multiple routines depending on what energy levels I'm waking up with that day need to honor your body and what it's capable of actually doing right you can't force yourself to do the same exercise so on my best energy days and where I feel like I can push myself I will go to the gym and I will lift weights or I will do some cardio on the days where I feel really tired and I don't want to do anything I'm going to go on a hot girl walk I'm going to walk for 45 minutes listen to a podcast or some music great right feeling myself but still getting that real dopamine and moving my body um on other days where I feel like I need to just break up my routine and I'm getting bored I will book myself a weekly pilates class and on the days where I don't even want to leave my apartment it's the days coming up to my period I will literally only do 10 minutes of movement I'll do it in my apartment either using a fitness app or a hit workout to tutorial on YouTube chapter 5 Finance for those of you who are starting out on your Finance journey I have an entire ultimate guide on investing and finance advice that I have compiled in one video on my YouTube channel so check it out this year like I'm talking summer of this year was when I started investing which in my opinion is way too late I was 22 at the time I wish I'd started earlier and 2023 I'm making it a much bigger priority so some things I've already put in place to make sure that I'm consistent in 2024 is multiple standing orders for my account this basically means that that different sums of money are going to leave my bank account I don't have to do anything or press anything and I'll have a certain amount of money that will be invested into my pension another sum of money into the stock market and then another sum into my Isa as well oh and then another sum into a highin savings account and then a new thing I'm trying out for 2024 which I'm so excited for I think it's really going to get me on track is the day that I get paid every single month I have a calendar notification that repeats every single month on that same day as soon as I receive my paycheck and this calendar alert basically says budgeting colon and then it has percentages so my personal percentages for my paycheck you can work out whatever percentages work for you 50% of my paycheck automatically goes into investing and that split into obviously pension stock market and other things I think it's 30% is towards needs and business expenses 10% is for once so 10% I can shop I can do whatever I want and then the other 10% is just like an emergency fund just saving and I'm using this in combination with my favorite finance app Snoop where I can actually track my spending I feel like 2023 I really made the mistake of just spending because I had the money and I was like whatever this year I'm just going to be more responsible and put my money to good use so I can build long-term Financial Freedom I really cover all of that in detail in my finance video on my YouTube channel so the only other thing I'm going to say here is that one major change I'm making for 2024 is investing in things like your Isa your pension and your stock market is the bare minimum to me it might not be for everyone because everyone has a different Financial circumstance for me it's like you know the bare minimum of the dating world that's the bare minimum of the investing and finance world I think I have the capability to do so much more by cutting back my spending like I said you know impulse shopping I'm trying to strip back on so that I can reinvest that money into other sources so in 2024 I want to start investing in property and most importantly in businesses which is why I have Angel Investing on my vision board because I just really want to put my money to good use and get more returns out of it and build assets and long-term wealth rather than just buying things for temporary joy to me that is just a lack of self-control and discipline that way as a girly who does love to shop okay I want a huge collection of shoes and designer bags okay don't get me wrong but my first priority is when I have invested that exact same amount in a business or in the stock market then I am allowed to buy myself the designer bag and lastly chapter number six this is a bit more about my personal career goals and life experience goals for 2024 that I've Illustrated on this board these are personal to me so I am going to speed through them but I just thought this would give you guys a good idea of what I kind of set out to do in this new year as someone who manifested and achieved a lot of things in 2023 so my first goal is like really cracking down on accountability so one thing I've already learned is every single week when I am planning out my weekly calendar so like every Sunday I'll plan out Monday to the following Sunday and I'll plan out every single hour according to all of the different tasks and responsibilities I have to carry out on my life and I reference my New Year's resolution list that I would have written out just before the new year to make sure that I'm still implementing things that align with those goals so I'm consistently achieving them I really lacked on this in 2023 I journaled kind of every once in a while I making it a habit to do it every single evening because I want this daily kind of habit tracker where I can reflect on why I did good and bad that day and do it consistently because I also think that this is really good at raising your vibration developing emotional intelligence and self-reflection and also developing your relationship to yourself that is a NeverEnding journey and that's always going to be my priority on the first of every month I'm really going to reflect what progress have I made and how can I do better this month than I did last month it sounds simple but I think it's something that so many of us forget to do my next goal is podcast growth that is obviously a new Venture that I just set up and I really want to see the self-obsessed podcast grow I want it to hit a million downloads um I want to be able to interview really successful people I just want to be able to grow our community over there another huge goal is to get back on my entrepreneurial grind for those of you who don't know I set up a jewelry business in 2023 and it did so well but I decided to shut it down because it didn't fulfill me and I felt like I could have done a bigger and better job at it so I'm going to try something different in the new year and I'm actually going to try and build a team and and have a whole operation going than just shipping orders from my living room because that was just not a good business model for someone who has so many other things to juggle and this links into my next goal which is actually hiring a team this has given me so much anxiety and overwhelmed me um I already tried it in 2023 and it was really difficult and so I kind of gave up 2024 I'm not budging I want to hire an editor and I just kind of want to be able to Outsource tasks to save my time to then reinvest it into other business things to help my audience more there are so many tasks that don't need me involved in them whether it be like a cleaner for my apartment whether it be a personal assistant someone to do my admin so that I can grow and give more value in all of my content in 2024 I'm setting myself a weekly challenge that every single week I have to do one thing that scares me it could be speaking to a stranger it could be showing up to an event it could be dressing in a way I wouldn't normally it could even be doing my makeup in a way I wouldn't normally do it but just trying new things and then when it comes to life experiences my biggest two goals for this is one to move to London and get a new flat which I'm so excited for I want to move to Central London I need to get my finances in order to be able to fund that kind of lifestyle and I want to find the perfect flat that is like the 2.0 version of this one and then on top of that something that's really scary and crazy and that I've never thought of before but I am determined to do and achieve in 2024 is this traveling but traveling in the way of living like a digital Nomad the scariest thing I can do is move to another country for a whole month alone and do my job from there those are the biggest like meain things I'm striving for in 2024 so I hope that's inspired some of you I'd love for you guys to share your goals with me in the comments below but that
