Effective Short Game Practice Routine

If you need to improve your short game, give this 30inut practice routine a shot. As a PGA pro, I want to give you this effective, simple, and quick short game routine that you can do after work or anytime you need a quick practice session. I started off for the first 5 minutes today doing a little bit of technique work, which for me is right-hand only chipping and chipping with the ball in between my arms. After that, we moved on to my favorite drill, the two ball drill, which is where you drop two balls in the same spot and then to the same hole, you have to hit one standard shot and one high shot. The goal of this drill is to build touch and help your decision-m on the course. Next, we move to a quick 5minute bunker session where we warmed up with the two-line drill. I'm trying to hit the back line and erase the front line. Then, we hit a few bunker shots where I'm focused mostly on contact and for me, my lower body action through the shot. Always make sure you guys take care of the course. We finished off today with a quick little up and down challenge. I was finishing out with my wedge, so my goal was plus three or better in order to finish the drill. I was able to finish at plus one, which was pretty awesome. Thought I made this one here to end the day, but we got an easy tap in for par.
