everyone welcome to backwards failures today i'm at historic bananas billiards in san antonio texas i'd like to thank connie and rick for opening up the pool hall and letting me film today today i've got how to clean a carbon shaft what to do and what not to do so stay tuned okay everyone this is my car custom carbon fiber shaft from pete's billiards it's called the fierce fiber shaft most people online it's a piece of cake to clean these it's not really that hard they either use a towel wet towel what i recommend or actually start where pete from pete's billiards recommends is he recommends using alcohol and a soft paper towel not anything that's got any abrasion at all like them brown ones just a soft paper towel now what i do or what i use is actually glass eyeglass cleaners i carry them around for my cameras i wear reading glasses so i have those and all you have to do there they are a lot cheaper than the the ones that are made for carbon fiber shafts but all you have to do is just take it out watch paper towel just wipe it all the way down and come down you do not want to get it on the tip you just want to stay right below the tip on the ferrule is as high as you want to go and then you just wipe it all the way down and you have a clean chef mine was clean other than the chalk on the ferrule so thank you for being here today for a little quick tip how to clean your carbon fiber shaft thank you please like subscribe and share thank you for watching please subscribe to join our pool family here's a couple of videos you might be interested in seeing thank you again
