I've been on YouTube now for over 11 years and I'm pretty confident that this is going to be the goofiest thing that I've ever reviewed AI automatically releases scents during gameplay you know what else automatically releases a scent during gaming my ass that's a horrible way to stop the video I was recently kidding around in a twitch stream about when will someone invent smello vision and is that even actually possible not only is it already a thing but you can just buy it on Best Buy for 150 bucks why is nobody talking about this I have tears of the Kingdom ready to go what does link smell like I've never seen him shower the available scents you can order online are Napalm human extortion in high school getting all my friends together for a late night sesh of a gears or Halo land that room did not need more sweat smell believe me and then the other two are ocean and Golf Course you've gone from naal and sweat to Ocean and Golf Course enough Dilly dallying going to open this up oh it smells like I just walked into a lush we're in so right now I have a little box plugged into my switch that's doing a HD pass through and that box is remotely connected to the Wi-Fi on my phone this thing is also remotely connected to my phone and it has a firmware update okay all right here is the bottle this is pure Forest oh H yeah it smells piny it smells christmy almost what is explosion going to smell like I should load these into like a diffuser in the house or something and just have the whole house smell like explosion all year round oh I know it's in its purest form and it's an explosion scent so of course it's going to smell bad let me smell the racing cars one it kind of does smell like tire rubber and I kind of like it you know like when your bike chain falls off you get that grease on your hand and it's like weirdly nostalgic oh this is this is gunfire giving me like Grandma's house like old school with the ash tray it smells like an ashtray and then lastly storm which by all accounts should actually smell pretty nice yeah nons surprisingly that's the nicest one that's actually really Pleasant I needed that as a pet cleanser pretty sure we're good to start sniffing around Link's pants I don't know where you're supposed to put it it's just right in front of me on the table I assume that's fine hopefully I'm not going to get overwhelmed with smells we have Zelda tears of the Kingdom ready to go let's start smelling oh it already did something it fired off the car one uh It might smell like a gu's college dorm room on pizza night down here but at the ground made Wind come up and I think it thought that was a storm and then it immediately shot out storm let me get into some combat see what happens ooh got him it just put a healthy dose of gunfire into the room yeah my room my room stinks it just did storm yeah actually I got to be honest I was kind of like half paying attention and I didn't realize it started raining and then I started to smell storm which doesn't really smell like a storm I want to see what happens when I get hit by lightning no yep yeah there it is oh that's so interesting it shot out explosion again about 5 seconds later and then immediately did storm again I think because it's still raining it's pumping out a constant spray of storm it just did rain again I'm burning through that rain if we don't change the weather soon I'm going to have to buy a replacement cartridge and it just did explosion cuz of the lightning strike I got a good to bed I got to get rid of this storm oh my God that is not what lightning smells like every time it struck lightning it would pump out an explosion smell into my room every time what was that one no that was Forest oh it hears the birds and it thinks I'm in a forest M that's nice yeah that did good all right I'm going to get out of Zelda we managed to hit Forest storm explosions and gunfire a lot of guns in Zelda now I got it all hooked up to my Xbox I've loaded up war zone I can't imagine this this smelling like anything other than just gunfire and explosions really expecting my room to just smell like ass after this okay it's still pumping out storm which is nice yes what the I I what are you doing let me play the game what is with games these days I got to log in account so I can smell my games Coda contact yes I will make sure all I do is sniff when you move around this game Everything You Touch like the sounds from all the menu transitions are tricking the scent thing into pumping out explosions and gunfire already please Don't Judge Me for spending money on War Zone by the way but they added Rick rymes what's a boy to do oh no no also I messaged Kim and I asked her to come down here when the room smelted nice she still hasn't come down I'm worried she's going to find the message after we've been through a war zone all right here we go yeah that was gunfire maybe it's one of those smells that like I'll grow to appreciate it and then you it's the left one storm again like I guess the sound of a car could kind of sound like a storm I think oh the storm one is kind of nice but it's so strong I think that's another huge issue is that it's all Ai and it's just going by sound it's not getting it right it's pumping in explosions when I do something on a menu and it's pumping in storm when it hears Tire sounds there is one in there called clean air that's supposed to neutralize the scent of the room it has not fired one time I'm not sure if I'm supposed to manually fire it oh I just did oh you can manually fire them on the app oh there's a cool down there's a 30C cool down on each one it smells sweet though it smells almost like vanilla or something okay well it just shut out storm again it just won't stop shooting out storm smell for everything lastly I want to try Spider-Man I actually installed this before I set everything up because I thought I know what New York smells like I go there every week for my podcast doesn't smell great walking down a New York City street usually smells like sewer love the place but it stinks and I wanted to see if they could recreate that now I can tell that they can just based on the smells available it doesn't have sewer smell it just did storm again out of every issue I've had with this thing so far the fact that it just constantly keeps on pumping out the storm smell is the biggest issue cuz a storm kind of sounds like white noise kind of a rainy storm sound so anytime it hears any kind of distortion or white noise it thinks there's a storm and it just did explosion for swinging around the city although to be fair the explosion smell does smell really bad and I in New York so I guess I'll take it let's try going to Central Park and see if we can get Forest we'll go right into the middle of Central Park I feel like that's a good test just did gunfire again too I'm kind of upset that it didn't come with either Golf Course or ocean cuz I feel like Golf Course would be good for grass in Zelda and ocean would be good for I feel like a lot of games I feel like a lot of games have an ocean you know we could have loaded up sea of Thieves and smell ocean the whole time that would have been awesome just did explosion again oh it did a big whiff of explosion back to back this is straight up horrible I'm editing this right now and I want to interject and say for anyone who thinks I might be faking these coughs I Googled what gunfire smells like and yeah it's just straight up sulfur in fact it's compared to rotten eggs and that's exactly what my entire room smelt like in this moment and in fact the smell of explosion yeah it's just more rotten egg smell mixed with sewer gas stink damp and manure gas I don't know why anybody would want to sit down for a gaming night of war zone to have their room smell like rotten eggs and manure what is this product I have been standing here in Central Park now for at least a minute or two and it has not fired off any kind of forest smell maybe I can trigger it by going it's it's storm again see the rustling also sounds like white noise so it thinks it's raining again explosion again my guy oh my God that explosion one is so bad I need to take that out it's just the overwhelmingness of it constantly firing it it's getting worse and worse but on top of that my brain is rejecting the smell it's starting to really despise the smell to finish my earlier thought God this is like a challenge trying to make this video right now with the scent in the room oh my God every time I smell the idea of it working with every game is all great and all but because it's Ai and not actually in tune with of the games it's just going by sound and in a game like Spider-Man for example you never go to a forest outside of maybe Central Park and clearly it can't hear that I'm in Central Park it constantly thinks there's a storm it's just going to keep firing explosion and gunfire just like if I was playing war zone I'm pretty sure both gunfire and explosion are just tied to loud noise oh thanks more storm we're paused in the menu this thing sucks if you were actually in any of these places like if you were to be fully immersed in any of these worlds or Realms there's going to be more than six smells there's millions of smells there's so many smells have you smelled smells there's so many of them I'm walking down a New York Street and Spider-Man right now I want to smell the garbage in the trash cans I want to smell the people walking by me I guess that would be the sweat that I didn't buy in the DLC but to keep smelling the same I would even wouldn't even say sick smells because one's clean air which leaves you with five and then it doesn't fire any of the other smells other than storm constantly and then just the bad explosion and gunfire all the time never did racing which to be fair I didn't race other than when I did get into cars and Call of Duty and it couldn't tell that I was in a car and instead it did gunfire and storm again sorry I'm only a little mad and frustrated because my room stinks for $150 in my opinion for this to work there needs to be at least 10 cents plugged in at any given time there needs to be some kind of system in place that can fire off two smells at once to make another smell because then your 10 slots could easily become 20 30 40 50 different smells if they're all mixing together and creating other smells but to have just six smells that can only fire off one at a time and one of those smells is supposed to neutralize the air but never does it doesn't really create the effect that you would want this to create I can't recommend it it adds nothing and it's been distracting me from my gaming experiences the whole time rather than further immersing me I just finished the video and came upstairs to eat and Kim's next to me and she said you stin I didn't well you did you were complaining about the smell and I said it's on you it's on me it's it's clinging to my shirt my new nice Elder Shirt By the way you film the back of this yeah and now it stinks thanks game scent
