ecosystems instead of collaborating on open standards many companies create exclusive platforms to fragment the market this also applies to electric vehicles EVs and an administration pushed $5 billion in federal funds to build out a national network of EV chargers charging stations will be up and easy to find as gas stations are now the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Program promised 500,000 public charging ports by 2030 but to date it's opened just 268 spread across 60 stations nationwide we will revoke the electric vehicle mandate charging's infrastructure fragmentation companies like Tesla Rivian and traditional automakers GM Ford have different EV charging networks with limited capability in China's EV markets cooperation between automakers Neo Avatar BYD at expressway service areas across the country as of the end of 2024 China had 12.82 million charging points which was an increase of 49% from the previous year to meet rising charging demand China has accelerated the construction of charging infrastructure by the end of 2024 98% of the highway service areas had charging facilities this cooperationdriven approach accelerates adoption reduces look at a few of course maybe show me one of your favorites i drive actually avatar 11 okay so this is my uh daily drive vehicle not a bad car to come to work in this is Avatar 011 011 model beautiful i drive normal it's black but this one actually is our chief designer nater uh core design with u uh very famous fashion designer Muamus oh wow okay hello who was the uh Juventi uh chief create director right at that time so we we're seeing a lot of fashion coming into these cars now huh because I've been inside an Avatar before and what sets it apart and different from a lot of other new energy vehicles is not just the design on the outside but when you get inside this car you feel in control of something very very special yes you're seeing another one over here uh this is the Avatar one two is that correct yes avatar one two i mean look at the the design on the back of this is just unbelievable it is we called the the design philosophy to create a futuristic design there's no real window if you take a look that is unbelievable and this is all glass huh yes the roof is all glass and the intention is why we do not have this uh rear window because the electrical rear mirror actually do not need the uh rear windshield at all right so that creates even more comfort and the secure space for our premium car uh user so Roy I know I'm kind of jealous that you get to drive to work in such a flying automobile but maybe in the future I can have something like this for myself what are we looking at here so our first two models it the Avatar 11 and F12 actually is the we call the brown shaper right very very fashion and very pioneer design but finally we decided to need to have you know mainstream model we we need our uh design can easily accepted by more customers right so this avatar 07 is our uh our intention is to have this model competing with Tesla Model Y so it's smaller roy this car is beautiful like I' I trust me I've seen Teslas but the the designs of these cars are unbelievable yes comparable to these is it reduced a little bit or a lot the price this price is reduced by 30% versus uh our 11 what Avatar has done here is they allowed basically we'll call it mid-level to even higherend brand it gives a a person quite a bit of choice and opportunity wow you know just the feel of this door like it's a door it's a solid solid door it can the lighting be changed inside the car yes the ambient lighting system uh one of our design features uh very uh attractive to Chinese customer so spend a lot of design uh energy in there are these zero gravity chairs yes fantastic yeah and uh both can be heated yeah if you Yeah look at in the front this is the first one liter uh just closing the door h beautiful yes this vehicle we is the first model we launch one liter ADA system great we're here yes this is our leader wow for the first two models we are building three liter system so the the monitor uh range actually is bigger but for this one is because we because we are aiming for um the mainstream mainstream market yeah market right we reduce to linear and reduce the cost a lot and but the functionality is almost the same because you know the technology moving so fast right so one one almost 80% of all this user use case right so people can afford and it's nice that you know as avatar is also thinking you we can save it a little bit of money on the technology and actually put it back into the car or give the consumer the choice to maybe purchase something like this if they're not ready uh for you know something like this or the other one there yes that's a fantastic strategy now some of the key highlights and innovations of the Avatar 07 it comes in two versions the battery electric version or BEV run entirely on electricity with an 82.16 kilowatt battery it uses fast charging 800V volts I guess allowing it to go from 0 to 80% in just 20 minutes that's impressive extended range electric vehicle EV this version includes a 1.5 L turbocharged engine that works as a range extender paired with the 39 kW battery it can drive up to 245 km on pure electricity but when combined with the engine it reaches an impressive total range of 1,152 km now this dual option setup gives drivers the flexibility of pure EV efficiency or an extended travel range with a backup engine making it suitable for both city driving and longd distance trips now let's talk about the smart driving the ADAS it uses 192 line offering an adaptive cruise control lane keeping assistant now that's impressive also it has emergency braking and intelligent parking which well for some that's a feature that is definitely needed in busy cities well I'm getting an opportunity to view something I've never seen before here and I've been told it has almost an experience of sitting in the cockpit of an airplane in fact it does look at this so not only have we got this onboard screen here that helps us and what is what is all of this here this is we call the bounce screen so this screen actually shows the cluster information and also the most popular apps there right so the custom actually can custom all these positions and you know different apps there so you can take all the key messages that's impressive look at I I've got mirrors here yes this also i've got the music i got the time i've got So this actually You don't actually even need a mobile phone anymore in this car yes you see a perfect blend of tech luxury and performance make the Avatar 07 stand out in the EV market and I think it's best that we get in the car and do a test drive right now i don't even have to get in the driver's seat because this car is going to come out for [Music] me ain't it [Music] great we've actually programmed the car to drive us out of
