Techniques for Efficient Stair Descending

So one change is, is that not to keep the feet straight. Okay? I don't, I've got long feet, short toes. Somebody might have shorter feet, longer toes.

Maybe you have long feet, long toes. The toes don't need to be on the stair. What I need to get on the stair is right here.

And you do it. So my feet don't need to be straight. The other thing when I go to step down is I have to let more of me go forward.

I need to let my shin and my chest move in the direction that I'm going as I set myself down on my larynx and knee joint. Then I'm going to let my shin and my chest move in the direction that I'm going as I set myself down on the other side. Then I'm going to let my shin and my chest go forward, set me down forward.

So instead of staying tall through the hips, I say semi-squatted. It is much, much, much easier and more effective. The other thing to pay attention to is our hips aren't square.

So I see people and they're like twisting themselves to like try to go straight down the stairs. All of us have a natural turn or orientation of the pelvis that might be to the right, might be to the left. doesn't matter but it's like let that hit whichever one it is for you and if you don't know that's fine try each way your brain is going to go ah it's going to like away and so breathe that and it's going to life away lift that hip come through the saloon door fracture this time sooner so when you go down i gotta let my shin move past the falcon point set me on the next one and i wanna let my chest so then i fold up and i come down it's much easier and have the joints of my legs working harmoniously versus overloading one and underloading others okay it also has more moving in the direction that i'm trying to go which is just makes more sense.

Now I did a flight. If you're new to this, start on your second step. Okay, I gotta get my shin and chest going down.

I gotta get my shin and chest going down. You don't want to be here and doing this and doing this and staying tall through the hips. It's not going to get you results from a good fit. Give it a try.
