Police observed the interior of both vehicles to be in complete disarray with open food containers, halfeaten food, dirty baby bottles, and dirty diapers throughout. Both sisters were each charged with three counts of child endangerment and they are both innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. How do you look a police officer in the face with six kids literally baking inside your car and then act like you were the one that were inconvenience? And leaving a child inside of a car on a warm day can kill them faster than most people think and it doesn't need to be scorching outside. And remember, this could have been the aftermath of a crash and these kids were just left inside the car like shopping bags. And she was dismissive and totally unbothered and not a single question about her children's well-being. No apology and no panic. And in many states, it is illegal to leave a child unattended in a vehicle if it poses a risk to the child's health and safety. And this clearly does. So understanding that specific legal rules in your area is essential for every parent or caregiver.
