Hello mga kasipnayan! Welcome back to my YouTube channel. And today, pag-uusapan natin ang tungkol sa daily lesson preparation based on Deped Order No. 42, Series of 2016. So, I have taught for 3 years sa Department of Education at isa sa pinakamahalagang bagay na dapat alam mo ay kung paano mag-prepare o gumawa ng isang lesson plan.
So kung ikaw ay baguhan pa lamang, you need to prepare a detailed lesson plan at kapag nakapag one year ka na, before nung ako'y nasa DepEd pa three years, bago ka mag-proceed sa daily lesson lag.
Be it online class or modular man yan, you need to prepare still yung atin pong mga dapat na gagawin within a day or within a week. So, ang detailed lesson plan.
preparation based doon sa guidelines ng Debt and Order No. 42 Series of 2016 ay nakapaloob doon itong mga sumusunod. I-explain ito in detail pero hindi naman na natin ito i-explain dito sa ating video dahil mapufocus lang tayo sa daily lesson planning na detailed na daily lesson plan. So, unang-una ay in-explain doon ang instructional process.
Lesson planning, parts ng lesson plan, instructional models, strategies, and methods, features of the K-12 curriculum, ICT integration, daily lesson log, and detailed lesson plan. So doon, in-explain isa-isa kung paano siya ini-implement, especially sa paggawa ng lesson plan, kung ano yung mga dapat na laman, which will be explained later. sa atin pong discussion. So ano ba yung sinasabi nating daily lesson log? So i-differentiate muna natin ang dalawa, ang daily lesson log at saka daily lesson plan or detailed lesson plan.
So a daily lesson log is a template teachers use to log parts of their daily lesson. So the DLL covers a day's or a week's worth of lessons and contains the following. parts. So, ito ang laman ng DLL. We have the objectives, the content, the learning resources, the procedures, remarks, and reflections.
So, sino ba ang gumagawa ng daily lesson lag? So, yung nagpiprepare ng daily lesson lag ay nakapag at least one year na ng pagtuturo. That is according to Depend Order No. 42. So, dapat nakapag one year ka na ng turo para ikaw ay ma...
allow na gumamit ng daily lesson log. So here's a sample daily lesson log. So kung mapapansin natin, nililista lang siya kung ano yung mga specific na particular component niya.
So bali dito, first page lang ang aking pinakita. Meron pa ito kasunod. But sabi ko nga kanina, we're not going to focus on DLL.
We're going to focus on DLP. Binibigyan ko lang kayo ng preview kung ano ang itsura niya. based on sa Deped Order No. 42. So, again, ang nag-prepare ng daily lesson lag ay yung nakapagturo na ng at least a year.
Saka pwedeng maalaw na gumamit ng DLL. So kung hindi ka pa talaga nakakapag-experience na magturo, ito yung kailangan mong i-prepare, which is the daily lesson plan, the detailed lesson plan. So it is a teacher's roadmap for a lesson.
It contains a detailed description of the steps a teacher will take to teach a particular A typical DLP contains the following parts. So, the same with the DLL, the detailed lesson plan contains the following parts. The objectives, the content, learning resources, procedures, remarks, and reflection. So, katulad ng daily lesson log, ang daily lesson plan ay the same lang din siya ng part.
Kaya lang, itong nandito po sa ating daily lesson plan, ay mas detalyado. So, detailed lesson plan nga siya eh. So, ibig sabihin, lahat ng expected na gagawin mo within a day or within the week ay dapat naka-incorporate sa iyong piniprepare na detailed lesson plan. So, ito yung sample na detailed lesson plan. So, bali dyan naka-specify ang mga dapat mong i-incorporate which will be discussed one by one mamaya.
So, pinapakita lang natin kung ano yung laman. So, meron siyang mga specific parts which is i-isa-isahin natin mamaya with its corresponding examples. So, basically nandiyan ang objectives, content, learning resources, procedures, at saka yung remarks and reflection.
So, yun yung, ito yung itsura niya na kapag nag- magpe-prepare na kayo ng isang daily lesson detailed lesson plan ito yung magiging laman nya ito yung magiging itsura nya so when I was working in DepEd bali ang ginagawa ay isang week minsan kasi yung isang learning competency hindi naman sya natuturo ng isang araw lang ang isang learning competency minsan it takes days bago sya makomplete ng turo so kapag sa isang detailed lesson plan makikita mo sya tatlong, kung titignan ninyo, tatlong araw yung pwede nyo makover. So, imemerge mo lang yun at ipiprepare mo yung lesson simultaneously.
So the first component are the...
Objectives. So sa objectives, nakalagay dyan yung content standards, performance standards, learning competencies, and objectives. So itong content standards, performance standards, at saka learning competencies, naka-incorporate na ito doon sa curriculum guide.
So ang gagawin mo na lang ay kukopyahin kung ano ang nandoon sa content standards. performance standards at saka sa mga learning competencies. In some cases, objectives ay yung mga learning competencies ay ina-unpacked at nagkakaroon tayo ng sinasabi natin yung mga specific na mga objectives for that particular learning competency.
So, ngayon, sa case natin ngayon, mayroon tayong tinatawag na most essential learning competencies. So, nag-trim down at in-identify yung mga most essential na learning competencies at doon nagpo-focus. ngayon sa ating bagong mode ng delivery kasi nga meron tayong COVID-19. So, ginagawa ng paraan ng ating Department of Education na makompress yung mga lesson at the same time na hindi nawawala yung quality of instruction.
Kaya pinipili yung mga talagang napakahalagang mga learning competencies. And then, we have the content. Kung ano yung ituturo mo, the title of the lesson.
Actually, sa iba, sa libro na siya nakalagay. So, yung iba, ina-adapt na lang nila doon kung anong title niya. Then, you do the same with your daily lesson plan or sa inyong detailed lesson plan. Yun ang nilalagay doon sa content. So, kinukuha natin siya again, as what I have mentioned, kinukuha po natin siya sa ating curriculum guide.
So, ito yung sample na curriculum guide. Ito ay curriculum guide para sa mathematics because this is intended for principles and strategies in teaching mathematics. So, what I have shown here ay sample ng curriculum guide para sa mathematics.
But of course, if there's anyone there na nanonood na hindi naman mathematics major, meron din naman kanya-kanyang... curriculum guide ang bawat subject areas. But yung way ng pag-prepare ng lesson plan ay parehas lang din naman sa kung ano, kung paano piniprepare sa mathematics.
So, here's a sample. I have prepared this sa isa sa klase ko, sa Principles and Strategies in Teaching Math. So, meron siyang content standards, may performance standards, at saka learning competency. So, naka-indicate din po dyan na dapat ay ilagay po. natin ang LC code or learning competency code na makikita mo naman doon sa curriculum guide.
Nakalagay naman doon kung ano ang code ng particular na learning competency na yun. In this case, it's M10SP3I-1. And then we have the content. The title of the content is Illustrating Mutually Exclusive Events. So yun po yung sa first and second part.
We have the objectives and the content. Sa next part naman po, after that, the third part is the learning resources. So under the learning resources, nakapaloob po dito yung ating mga references.
Ini-incorporate natin dito kung saan nyo kinuha sa particular na teacher's guide, anong page ba siya. Sa learner's material, anong page din yun, yung lesson na yun. If you have other references na ginamit, you may include other textbooks, pwede nyo i-incorporate yung textbooks. pages dyan. And then, additional materials from Learning Resource Portal, specifically from the Learning Resource Management system ng DepEd sa LRMDS.
At saka, if you have other learning resources na gagamitin sa iyong pagtuturo, so, ini-incorporate po natin yan dito sa ating section na ito ng Learning Resources. So, here's a sample na learner's material. para po doon sa mga pre-service teachers natin o kaya ay yung mga nag-aaral pa lang ng education. Ito po ang sample ng learner's material specifically for mathematics.
Meron ding teacher's guide, sample teacher's guide. Ito po yung ginagamit natin sa pagtuturo na kung saan nakalagay na doon yung mga answer keys at lahat na kailangan ng teacher. Kaya minsan ina-adapt na lang din ito.
Pero of course, if you wanted to modify na may gusto kayong i-incorporate ng mga bago dun sa iyong lesson plan, pwede naman pong gawin. So, here's the sample. So, dyan, ilalagay mo lang yung pages ng teacher's guide, pages ng learner's material.
At kung gumamit in this case, I have used contemporary mathematics. Pwede nyo rin i-incorporate yung page number doon. In this case, wala akong ginamit na additional materials from Learning Resource Portal because nasa State University ako.
If I'm not mistaken, ay kailangan ng DepEd na email ngayon para mabuksan po yung LRMDS. Tapos yung other learning resources, be it presentation, lecture notes, at saka yung mga other instructional materials. In this case, I've used Frank Cards. I-incorporate mo yun doon or i-susulat mo rin doon sa iyong detailed lesson plan.
And then, papasok na po tayo sa procedures. Ito yung pinakamahabang section ng detailed lesson plan na kung saan dito mo ilalagay kung ano yung magiging flow ng magiging lesson mo, specifically part by part at yung mga activities. So, The first part is reviewing the previous lesson or presenting the new lesson. Yun sa letter A, first component ng procedures. So, in this part, i-explain mo yung mga previous lessons at kung ano man yung napag-aralan noong noona.
So, just like the same with the traditional lesson plan, ang ginagawa doon, meron siyang part na review. Nire-review doon, especially yung mga preparatory lessons, nilalagay doon yung mga concepts na kailangan para sa next lesson. Not necessarily kung ano yung diniscuss last meeting, but most of the time ganun ang ginagawa. May mga cases na nire-review or yung nilalagay doon sa review ay yung crucial para doon sa next topic. And then, pumapasok din dito ang pag-present ng bagong lesson.
Habang nagre-review ka, after ng review, you insert the new lesson. Then, just like for this case, in this sample, nag-review ako ng some concepts related sa tossing a coin dahil mutually exclusive events na pinag-uusapan. So, nag-review ako ng konti about that topic.
So, yun, yun sa first component. The next one is establishing a purpose for the lesson. So, sa pag-establish ng purpose ng lesson, its purpose is to motivate the learners kung ano bang reason kung bakit nyo inaaral yung particular concept na ito, your particular lesson. You can specify or provide specific question about doon sa topic na pinapresent, na napresent mo na. So, ngayon, para magkaroon ng motivation yung mga bata.
Mamotivate sila to learn that topic. So you can ask thought-provoking questions and then ask some concepts. So tingin nyo bakit kaya kailangan pag-aralan yung topic na ito. So para lang ma-incorporate sa mind nila, ma-instill sa mind nila, we are studying this because of that, this. Or you can make use of some activities and then you provide follow-up questions just like in this example.
And then ask them. Critical questions or questions that would encourage them to think critically. Para naman mas maging participatory yung inyong discussion on a later stage.
So, the next one is presenting examples and instances of the lesson. So, dito nyo ikaklarify yung mga concepts kasi syempre na-present mo na, na-establish mo na yung purpose ng lesson mo, kung bakit sya kailangan aralin. Then you will provide specific examples. Of course, it depends on your specific methodology kung paano mo siya ituturo.
So, depende din yun sa'yo kung paano ka magpe-present ng mga examples. So, for this particular content, particular section ng inyong lesson plan, it is expected na dapat yung mga concept na medyo hindi maintindihan ng estudyante ay makaklarify mo na doon sa concept na iyong dinidiscuss about the lesson. So for example, in this case, you will have a specific activity.
Kasi ngayon, activity-based na talaga yung mga lessons. Hindi na talaga yung spoon-feeding na nag-discuss ang teacher. At the same time, makikinig yung estudyante. Ngayon kasi dapat ay engage yung mga learners because our learners in the 21st century are learning differently. Hindi na siya katulad nung dati na naumuupo lang estudyante.
Ngayon talagang you need to engage your learners. para maging engaging, participatory yung iyong lesson. So, you can ask them questions, ask them by pair, individually, about something that they wanted to clarify, or things na gusto pa nilang malaman about sa mga concept na iyong dinidiscuss. And then, you can also discuss new concept for letter D, new concepts and practicing new skills because we have incorporated new topic. you have incorporated new lessons, then you are now ready to, or the students are now ready to observe new concepts and to practice the skills that they have gained from that concepts.
So then, you incorporate specific activity. Most cases, it's guided activity. Then, you're going to discuss this and that and then allow them to explore for the solutions.
Most of the time, you're going to ask them questions. Or sa activity mismo nila, may mga questions silang sasagutin, kung di man na ikaw mismo ang mag-ask. And then they're going to answer it, to explore the skills, and then they will have to discover.
For cases, especially in mathematics, sa amin, pinaprovide namin yung mga various activities na mostly ay discovery learning in nature. Pero syempre, may mga highly technical tayong mga concepts. So for cases like that, you really need to teach the skill.
o kaya ipapakita mo by showing them samples. Ito yung gagawin mo, ganyan, ganito, ganyan. So, yun yung magiging flow ng inyong discussion. And then, kapag na-discuss mo na yung first part ng concepts, tapos you also need to reinforce that. Hindi naman lahat ay nakakakuha sa isang try.
Then, you proceed to the concepts and again, practice. Provide practice exercises ng skills para mas makita nila yung specific application. At the same time, yung skill na hindi nila masyadong na-master dun sa una, pwede pa nilang ma-master for the succeeding examples. Then you provide another set of examples just like in this sample.
And then, the next component is the developing mastery. So, in developing the mastery, um, Dito titingnan mo, by providing individualized work and activities like computation, kung titingnan mo kung talagang based doon sa discussion mo, sa practice exercises na provide mo, sa skills ng 1 and 2, ay meron ba talaga silang natutunan. So dito, in this part, you may provide additional activities, activities that could really help them understand and explore other possibilities. Cases just like in my example, na ibang situation naman, pero the same topic ang tinutumbok mo, the same learning competency ang tinatarget mo, pero ibang situation ang pinaprovide mo, or ibang case naman ng examples.
And then, the next part is to find for the practical applications of concepts and skills in daily living. Actually, in mathematics, this is one of the hardest part because as teachers, especially, lagi nireklamo yan na paano malilink ang subject na ito sa subject na yan. So, kaya yung mathematics, paano siya malilink doon sa other concepts.
So, it's really a struggle on the part of the teachers. That's why we need to be creative. And I know, especially for mathematics teachers, I know that we are very creative. We are very creative in linking concepts of mathematics to practical life applications. Na dito na pumapasok sa component na ito.
So, you provide them with... activities, practical activities na gumagamit ng ganong concepts and idea. So, kung halimbawa, sample lang naman ito, we're talking about for example, for probability, for instance, yun, i-explain mo lang siya, mag-provide ka ng activities.
In this case, cards ang kanyang gamit. So, ginagamit siya sa daily living. Ay, pwede pa lang gamitin yung cards.
Ganito, ganyan. So, kapag establish mo yung link na yun, at na yung bata na yun ay gumagamit ng cards. So, malilink niya, ay, ganito pala ang gagawin.
Dahil may link na siya doon sa ginagawa niya sa buhay niya, nakikita niya na naa-apply siya sa ganitong konsepto. So, matututo siyang ilink yung lesson mismo, yung target learning competency doon mismo sa kanyang pagkatuto. So, that's why very important na ma-establish natin yung link between the two. Kasi kung hindi, walang, hindi magkakaroon ng meaningful understanding yung estudyante. doon sa kanyang pinag-aaralan.
And then, the next one is to make generalizations and abstractions. Most of the time, through activity din naman ito, or minsan oral explanation, tinatanong yung bata, okay, ganito-ganyan, and then they will create generalizations of what they have learned for that period, for that day. O kaya ay kung halimbawa na generalization ng tatlong araw, so magkakaroon na siya ng generalization doon sa kanyang natutunan within three days. So... Sa traditional lesson plan, ang part na ito is generalizations.
So dito naman, making generalizations and abstractions of the lesson. And then, the next part is evaluating learner. Of course, you need to evaluate kung meron ba talaga silang natutunan. So you can give examinations in some cases or most cases.
So five-item test ang binibigay nila as a form of formative assessment. And then, sa iba naman, especially sa mathematics, we provide activities that... requires solving. Kasi yun naman talaga ang nire-require or na-demonstrate ng learning competency. So kung ano yung learning competency, dun dapat ay hit, dapat lahat doon through the activities, at saka hanggang doon sa evaluation.
So dapat makita talaga doon na na-hit niya yung learning competency, yung target learning competency. So napakahalaga po na makita po yun. At ang evaluation ang magbibigay sa'yo ng idea kung anong gagawin mo, kung i-re-teach mo ba siya, kung magpo-proceed ka ba sa next lesson, or kung may mga areas ba sila na hindi naintindihan sa lesson na diniscuss mo. That's why it's very important that at the end of every lesson, ay meron kang assessment component.
And then, additional activities for application or remediation. So, kung sa pag magbibigay ka ng assignment, pwede naman para... Ma-explore din nila yung mga iba pang mga samples at saka kung may need na i-reinforce ng mga skills ay pwede nila itong gawin through that.
And then we have the remarks and reflections. So dito nilalagay after na evaluation, ilan ba yung learners na naka-earn ng 80%, learners who require additional activities for remediation, ilan doon, ilan number lang naman yan, number of learners who continue to require remediation. Tapos, ini-evaluate or nag-reflect ka doon sa mga strategies na ginamit mo.
And then, titignan mo doon saan ang nag-work, saan ang hindi nag-work. At ano pa yung mga possible na mga innovations, mga difficulties na na-meet mo na pwede makatulong sa next discussion. In this example, pinakita ko lang ang itsura niya. Pero I have not incorporated it here. Pero pwede niyong lagyan na kung ano yung mga actual na nangyari after niyong na-implement ang...
lesson. So, I hope you have learned something from the discussion on the daily lesson preparation. And, bibigyan din natin ng mga ibang discussion pa in my next videos. Kung ano yung mga other parts pa na dapat natin i-clarify.
Thank you so much for paying attention mga kasipnayan and I hope that you have learned a lot from this discussion. Thank you so much and if you have not subscribed sa aking channel, please do so, like, and share this video. Thank you and have a great day.
